This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

Rosalie looked at the two and nodded. "I understand why we need to but we don't know anything about this Voldemort character. How can we defeat him if we don't know anything about him?" The vampiress asked. "And when is this battle going to take place? And are we allowed to reveal what we are during it? I think it's going to be quite obvious that we're not witches or wizards when we attack." Sighing at all the unanswered questions, she propped her head on her hand, waiting for class to start.

"Do I look like Alice?" Edward said, raising his eyebrows. "I have no idea about the future," he sighed, bringing up Bella's hand and kissing it. "No one has really made up their mind enough for Alice to predict it." he added as the teacher walked in.

Rosalie laughed at Edward's expression. "Hopefully Alice can see what's going on soon. The closer the battle is, the less time we have to stay at this school." She said, knowing it was harsh. But all she really wanted to do was go back to some place like Forks and forget about this magical world.

'I just want it to be over so we can leave this wretched place,' Bella agreed with Rosalie. 'I mean, yeah, if he's not defeated it will be a world like you mentioned, Edward, but having to stay here until this thing does happen is going to be a total nightmare.' She rolled her eyes. 'I just hope Alice sees something soon,' she added in a whisper.

Jasper pulled out his textbook and other stuff that he needed, Parchement, quill e.t.c.
He listened to the conversation going on around him.
"True. This school is awkward." He chuckled. All about this place annoyed him. The stairs moved, how were you meant to get to classes on time? 'Oh Sorry I'm late professor, the stairs kept moving away from me.' He thought. How ridiculous.
But the worst how to be the houses, but he wasn;t going to go into that again.
Jasper knew quite a bit about the battle that was going to happen soon, Alice had been telling him so. But there was still a few decisions that had to be made and Alice's seeing had major gaps in between.
"We'll find out soon enough. I'll keep bugging Alice." He said.

Alice sighed as the transfiguration teacher came into the classroom and called them to attention. She really would rather be any where but here. She had no idea how to transfigure anything at all. Cant believe this is happening she thought as the class was set the work. She opened her text book and began to read the theory behind the practical. Although she knew she'd never be able to do it.

Rosalie nodded along in agreement with Bella. Getting out here soon and well, alive after the battle was the main thing. Watching the professor walk in with a stack of parchment, she winced. Another long class of making some complicated potion.

Opening her textbook and trying to guess which potion they were going to be told to made, the door opening made her look up. Another pair of Slytherins were coming through the door. Draco Malfoy and Serena Roberts. Rolling her eyes, she turned her attention back to the textbook.

Finally reaching the Potions classroom, Serena dragged them in, knowing they were very close to be late. Noticing that they had class with the Gryffindors, she sighed. Dragging Draco along, she choose two empty desks and plopped herself down into her seat.

Opening her bag, she quickly obtained the materials she needed for the class. Settling down, she noticed that the boy she had been looking at in the common room earlier was in her class. Great. Now there's even more reason for this girlfriend to kill me. Serena thought to herself.

Hermione opened her textbook, listening intently to the teacher as she described some complex theory. Good thing I looked over this chapter last night. She thought to herself as she read the theory over in her textbook.

Alice stared at the words blankly, not understanding a word. This seemed impossible to her. She wondered how the others were finding there lessons. She turned the page over in the text book and tried to get an idea of what was going on.

Edward, not really paying attention to the professor, looked at his 'wand', which was really a piece of wood that didn't work at all, and waited until the professor set them loose to do an experiment. "Yes," he agreed to the three as soon as he let them go. "I'm just afraid someone will be...dead before we leave," he said, pretending to cut some leeches up with a frown. "These classes last too long." he sighed.

Rosalie looked at the dead leeches in front of her. "Ugh." She said, exclaiming her disgust with the potion ingredients. Taking her knife, she took a leech gingerly with her pale hand and began to chop them up with abnormal speed, wanting to get it over with.

"Hopefully the numbers will be low." She said, trying to reassure them but she knew that such a battle would leave many dead.

"We can only hope," Edward said, dumping the leeches in his cauldron. He knew what Rosalie thought was right; a battle this big, they'd be lucky if everyone got out alive. Without knowing he had done it, he had a vat of bubbling green potion. He put it in a vial, capping it and writing his name elegantly on it and handing it to the professor with a nod. He sat back down, waiting on the others to get done or the bell to ring.

Bella looked down, concentrating on making the ingredients for her potion correct as Edward and Rosalie talked about numbers. She knew there were bound to be casualties and fatalities in this; there was almost no doubt about it if this Voldemort person was as strong as she'd heard he was. Taking the cutting of the leeches slowly so she could think and didn't look suspicious, she looked at them. 'Can we please not talk so negatively?'

Jasper picked the leech up and put it to the light. He looked at it in disgust and dropped it back on the table, he started cutting it up. Disgusting.
"I agree with Bella. Of course there's going to be .. " He stopped himself. "But, let's try to think of this in a possible way. We'll be helping the wizarding community A LOT."

As she transfiguration class we told to begin the practical Alice picked up her was causiously. This was not going to work at all. Looking once more at the spell in the book she muttered it while pointed her wand at the object infront of her. Nothing happen at all. Well Im amazing at this She thought to herself.

Lelouch and Harry were walking together to the next class, And Harry using this opportunity to try and get some more information out of Lelouch.
But ofcourse had to do it without raising suspicion, so far it hadn't been going good.

They eventaully reached the classroom and sat down behind Hermione and as Lelouch was trying to find the right books for this class Harry wrote a note to Hermione and flicked it on to her table when he thought Lelouch wasn't paying attention.

" 'Mione, So I've been thinking about what the deal is with these new kids but I've nothing so far and I"m having a hard time trying to get some information about Lelouch without raising suspicion.....Do you have any ideas?"

Ron dropped into the seat next to Harry as he flicked a note to hermione.
" Whats that about?" he whispered referring to the note. ronstill wasnt sure if he lked her being so friendly with the new guy but he didnt want to go another 6month with her not speakng to him or chnce anther attca from a flock of birds

Harry head Ron's question and after making sure Lelouch wouldn't hear him he replied.Ofcourse in a whisper.

"Well it just started bugging me, I mean the fact that we know those new kids are hiding something but we have no idea what....They could as well be spies working for Voldemort or something."

Biting her cheeks at Jasper's continuing of the topic, Bella looked down as she hurriedly finished the leeches. Looking up as Edward addressed her, she shrugged. 'Maybe. I really don't get any of these lessons, least of all this one,' she admitted as she put the knife down, looking at the freshly-chopped leeches in front of her.

Edward smiled and picked up his knife, quickly cutting the leeches for her so that no one would see. "There," he said, "you're halfway done." He looked at the professor, who was stuttering to a person about cleanliness, and handed her some other things needed for the cauldron. "I know you should be doing this yourself, but it's a horrid thing no one should be forced to do," he whispered. "It's kind of like chemistry," he said, explaining in more simple terms. "But a little bit easier."

'Like Chemistry?' Bella asked as she sorted out the things Edward had just handed her. 'Well, you say it's easy, I say it's hard.' She pursed her lips as she dropped a few items in the cauldron in front of her. 'And you're darn right nobody should be forced to do it. Cutting up leeches? I bet the wolves would love that,' she muttered, adding the last bit on in the spur of the moment. As soon as she realised what she said, she mentally kicked herself. She did not need reminding of the wolves now, she sternly told herself as she threw the rest of the stuff in the cauldron like the book and the teacher said.

Watching the girl struggle with the spell, Hermione looked at her wondering if she should help her out or not. "It's kinda of like this." Hermione said, flicking her wand to the left gently. "Sorry, I'm being very rude aren't I?" She asked, biting her lower lip, not wanting to seem like the bossy little know it all to these new people.

Hermione jumped slightly when the note landed on her desk. Returning to her own seat so she was away from everyone, she read the note. Taking her quill and quickly scribbling a reply that read:

Harry, I have no idea. Although I think I'm going to check the library at lunch.

Making sure the teacher wasn't looking, she passed it back to Harry.

Rosalie laughed at the irony of them cutting up leeches. "Yes, I'm sure they would love to be in our position right now." She said, dumping her cut up insects into the cauldron, hoping for the best.

Edward chuckled. It was ironic. He heard snickering behind him, followed by the disgusting odor he would never get used to. Wrinkling his nose in a strange fashion, he poured the inchworms in Bella's cauldron. He was kind of glad he had finished first, because he wouldn't be able to concentrate as well. "I bet," he added to the others.

Hermione laughed. "It was really hard at first but try it again. You totally can do it." She said trying to encourage her. Why does it seem like she's never held a wand before? Remus told us they were different but what did he mean by different? I thought they would know how to use a wand for sure! How does Remus expect them to help us if they can't even do basic spells? Questions poured into Hermione's head as she attempted to teach Alice how to the spell.
