This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

Edward looked at Bella, pulling her into his lap. "I don't know, Rose," he said. "But I think we'll have to teach Bells how to fight," he smiled at her. He didn't like the idea of her out on battle, but she would be a horrible person to be with if he didn't let her.

Emmett smiled. "Oh, yes!" he said, perking up at that. He was always fond of little Bella, and he treated her like a little sister...sort of. "She hasn't been in anything like this, has she?" he chuckled.

"I'm helping in this battle and you can't do anything about it." She said, kissing him on the forehead and looked at Jasper.

"Could you give me some tips?" She asked him, knowing that he was fully qualified to teach her about how newborns fought.

Jasper watched as Hermione wondered back in to the woods and back to Hogwarts. He thought about this. They had a VERY good chance of winning this battle. What with Vampires, wizards and werewolves. And thinking about it, the other side only had these ... death eater things, and a few werewolves. Very poor indeed. Ok, and maybe a very powerful wizard, but that didn't matter.

Jasper listened in as Edward and Rosalie were talking about Bella's new born instincts. "I think she'll be a fine fighter." He smiled.

"Thanks Jasper." Bella said, flashing him a smile. "Hopefully I'll be alright." She said, looking at Rosalie and giving her a mock glare and than laughed. "I mean, all of us should be ok. They only have some werewolves and wizards." Bella said, calculating the battle. "It should be fine." The girl said, trying to install some positivity in everyone and clear the doubt in her.

Hermione entered the Gryffindor common room to find that Harry and Ron were not sitting in their favorite two armchairs by the fire. Where are they?! She asked herself frantically, dashing up the boy's dormitory staircase, shocking the boys as they watched her go up there. Seeing that they weren't in the dorms either, she cursed loudly, which was an unusual thing for Hermione Jane Granger.

Rushing down the staircase, she was halted by questions by Dean and Neville. Shaking her head and responding that she didn't have the time to answer, she left the common room, frazzled, wondering where her best friends could be.

ooc:it seems like a lot of people have ditched this rp

So if anyone would like to take Harry and Ron, they can have their charries? If not, I'll rp them as a singular character...I dont know if that made sense or not

Edward smiled weakly, his mind going in circles. He'd be around Bella, make sure she'd be alright before defending himself. Yes, that's a good idea.

Emmett smiled, wanting to go ahead and fight. Or practice. Or something. He didn't care what. He ran a hand through his dark, curly hair and waited for something to happen.

"And he said--" Ron was saying, but he saw Hermione run past them, not even noticing who was standing in front of her. "Hermione!" he said. "Hermione, we're right here. Blimey, what's wrong?"

"Well, let's do something than!" Rosalie said impatiently. She couldn't wait to get up and practise. Standing up quickly, she turned to Emmett and crouched slightly, shooting him a sly smile. The blonde couldn't wait to tackle him.

Hermione halted mid-step as she heard Ron call her name. Turning around, she smiled in relief but it quickly vanished. "Thank god!" She muttered and hurried towards Ron and Harry, who was standing beside the redhead. "We need to talk. Privately." She said, quite breathless from all the running around and searching.

Harry frowned as he looked Hermione over. She looked very frazzled. "What's wrong?" He questioned, only to be hushed by her. "Let's go to the Room of Requirement then." He suggested, wondering what on earth Hermione could want to talk about, other than the new students.

Emmett grinned, following her and standing up, winking at her as he crouched silently in front of her. His dimples were showing and his curly hair was around him everywhere, and that made him look more god-like. He laughed, waiting on Rosalie to pounce.

Ron laughed, shaking his head as he followed Hermione. He tucked a lock of red hair behind his ear and bit his lip. It must be something important, otherwise Hermione wouldn't be acting like this. "Is it good or bad?" he asked.

Rosalie laughed her bell like laughed and pounced onto him. It was like a blur. If someone who wasn't anything like them saw it, would have missed it. Jumping on him, she grinned as she pushed him down onto the forest floor. Sitting on him, she threw her head back and laughed, knowing there was nothing she could do anymore. It was always hard practising with her family members considering the fact that they didn't want to hurt anyone. "I'm a bit rusty." Rosalie said. "Not as fast as I should be." She commented, looking down into Emmett's face.

Bella watched as Rosalie attacked Emmett. Intruiged, Bella didn't understand how Rosalie thought she wasn't fast enough. Will I be like that? She thought to herself while watching them.

Walking past the wall three times, she thought to herself of a room where no one could find them. Seeing the door appear, she quickly wretched them open and gestured them to get inside.

Harry shrugged his shoulders at Ron and watched as the door appeared in front of them. Feeling nervous and excited at Hermione's news, he hurried inside and sat on one of the armchairs that the room had provided. "What's going on Hermione?" He asked again.

"I'm a bit rusty myself," Emmett grinned. "I could've stopped you. Of course, I guess I was playing the helpless wizard while you are the beautiful merciless vampire," he joked, raising up and kissing her. "May I get up, please?"

"Bella, do you want to try?" Edward asked her. "I can help you, or Emmett, Rose, Jasper, or Alice. Your pick." He smiled comfortingly.

Ron shrugged back, following Harry in and shutting the door behind them. He slowly made his way to the armchair beside Harry, looking at Hermione with wide blue eyes. "Yeah, what is it?"

"Come on then Alice." He smiled and stood up. "Let's see if we've still got it." He smirked and folded his arms. He hadn't fought in a while.

Rosalie laughed and kissed him back gently. Swiftly getting to her feet, she extended her arm to give him a hand in getting back up. She loved moments like these. The moments where they were able to show their true instincts and not have to worry about other people watching them or fearing them.

"Of course I'm the beautiful merciless vampire." She joked vainly. "Maybe I won't even have to do much tomorrow. All I have to do is stand there and dazzle them." She said laughing, knowing full well that she was too much of a fighter to do that.

Making sure the door was closed and sealed so no one could inturrupt their conversation, she paced around the room, too nervous to sit. Realizing that their was no better way to get through this, she turned to look at both of her best friends, and well, one was the love of her life, but he didn't know that yet.

"The battle is tomorrow." She said, knowing how weirdly that must have sounded. They probably thought she was crazy and wondering how the hell she would know. "We need to prepare!" Hermione said wringing her hands as she thought of all the preparations that they needed to go through.

Harry gaped at her. "What? How do you know this?" He asked her, wondering if Hermione had decided to take a few lessons from Professor Trelawney.

"Did you sip some of Trelawney's crazy tea?" Ron asked, looking at her disbelievingly. "Seriously, though, how do you know?" he smiled, hoping she wouldn't be mad at him. He was only joking. But of course, Hermione always misunderstood his jokes. He licked his lips, waiting on Hermione to explain.

Pulling away and seeing him crouch, she laughed and bent down, letting her predator instincts take over her. Bella gulped as she watched Alice and Jasper fight each other. Pushing her back leg with all her strength, she jumped on him, wondering if there was enough force behind it to even move him an inch, let alone push him down to the forest floor.

Hermione glared at Ron. "No, I didn't." She said coldly. And than remembered that they didn't know aboue Alice having super powers. "Alice Cullen, one of the vampires..." Hermione said quietly. "She can see the future." She said to Harry and Ron. "And she's seen that the battle is tomorrow."

"I can't believe this." Harry said, standing up now, too agitated to sit. "How are we going to prepare for this with such short notice?" He said, pacing around the room just like Hermione had did.

Edward smiled as he landed on the forest floor. "Good job, love," he laughed. "But be more agressive next time. Visualize that...maybe the enemy has stolen something you can't replace," he suggested. "But I doubt there will be more vampires on the other side,' he added.

"Relax, Hermione, I was joking," Ron said, wringing his hands. "What are we going to do? Call the Order or what?"

Edward thought after he jumped up. "I don't think you'll have to worry about much blood being spilt. They don't fight with swords and things, like in the movies. They use a speical spell, called the Killing Curse, and it kills them on the spot. But they could use some sneak attack on us, so its best if we are prepared. And if you just channel your energy on the enemies, then that could help you." He smiled comfortingly. "Try once more," he said. "This time, I'll try to defend myself."

Ron nodded. "That should help us a ton. Aren't they really fast? They'd kill ten every second!" he observed. He smiled, and then it went away quickly. "Well...are we going?" he asked, looking at Hermione with twinkling eyes.

”Thanks.” She said, kissing him lightly on the cheek as he helped her up. “Yes, I definitely need to work on it tonight.” She said, trying to remember how fast she was during their last battle. Rosalie sighed. Maybe she just needed to run laps around the Quidditch pitch or something to get her speed back.
Turning to Emmett, she raised an eyebrow at him, waiting for him to attack.

Bella listened to him awed. She didn’t understand how there could have been a magical world for so long and escape everybody’s notice. Honestly, vampires, werewolves, witches and wizards? How did these “muggles” not notice? I’m glad I noticed or attempted to find out. She said as she looked at Edward. Hearing him encourage her to try again, she crouched again, wondering how she was going to go about this when he defended himself.

Harry nodded. “They really should come in handy.” He said, still pacing around in the room. Pulling out his wand, he began to twirl it in his fingers. He didn’t really need to practise the spells he would use tomorrow as he ran a list of useful ones through his head. Hopefully he wouldn’t have to use the Killing Curse tomorrow. That was all that worried him.

Giving him a small smile and feeling slightly guilty about her cold glare a few moments earlier, she turned to unlock the door of the Room of Requirement. Peeking her head out, she made sure it was an all clear before stepping out of the magical room. It was definitely past curfew now. “Are we going to the owlery?” She asked them, hoping that they wouldn’t be caught.

Jasper cocked his head and smirked. "Yep." Before a second, Jasper had already tackled Alice to the ground. He sort of had to fly/jump, since she was a fair bit away, but he just about managed it. Jasper never underestimated Alice, she was just as strong as him, or maybe even stronger.

She may look little, but she could have been stronger then Emmett.

"Hopefully this fight will be a short one. We have to ... sort of look after the humans too." He said, pinning Alice to the ground.

Before she could do anything Jasper had tackled her to the floor. She needed to quicken up her reflexes or maybe she had let him get her. She giggled as he pinned her to the floor. Well it wasnt staying like this for too long. Using all the strength she had she managed to roll them over so now she was pinning him to the floor.

"Jasper wants to go human sitting?" She asked with a grin. It sounded wierd saying they had to look after the humans.

Alice smiled at his words, did he really expect her to just let him pin her down. No way. "What? Did you think I was just gonna lie there?" She asked as she felt them both falling the opposite way. She grinned as she looked up at him. "Hmm My words are good. But are we gonna sit slytherins or Gryffindors?"
