Nox was the brother of Sybill Trelawney. Hemera was the aunt of Daphne and Asteria Greengrass. Although he descended from seers, he, like most of the recent family, did not possess the gift. The one exception was his brother, Hesiod, a strange boy who kept mostly to himself and never married. This was because Hesiod’s only recurring vision was that of his own death… no matter what he did to stop it… his death kept playing in his mind, causing him to go mad. Atropos grew up in Venice, Italy. He was raised to believe a woman should be looked at and never heard, that her place was to serve and respect her man. After he graduated from Hogwarts (Slytherin,) he became an entrepreneur and used what money his parents left him to buy a few shops in Knocturn Alley. He missed his home land and opted to keep a home in London and one in Venice. That’s when he met the woman who would soon be his first wife, Clytemnestra. The woman was a seer, and having a vision they would make lots of money together, she told him, she would be a great asset to him. She would tell him where and how to proceed in his business, and thanks to her visions and he would keep her in a lifestyle she would be comfortable in. He was sold and proposed to her. He was shrewd and dark in his dealings, and now owns most of Knockturn Alley. He insisted on having an heir, on continuing his lineage and, alothough she didn't want children, gave into his request. When she became pregnant, her visions ceased to be. Finally when her child was born, she promised herself she would never have another child again. Atropos was most disappointed. The child was female. He tried to convince her again and again, but his wife didn't bear him any more children. When, years later, he found out she had not been faithful, they divorced, and he remarried a younger woman, who gave him the heir he always desired. |

She has lived as a Muggle all her life due to the tragedy of her youth and didn't know she was a witch until her 11th birthday when she received a letter from Hogwarts. That was when her mother finally told her of her the truth. She has no family other than her mother since her grandparents don't think she's good enough to be related. Since the time of her getting enrolled into Hogwarts she has proven herself to everyone, earning quickly and becoming great friends with a few people. Her shy nature allows her to keep to the shadows, not talking or interacting much. When she was in her second year she learned she had the ability to feel others emotions. Since that day she has found it hard to shut out the emotions and has learned to control them. Her mother had kept the secret from her all hr life due to the fact that most of her older relatives went crazy with the power and she didn't want that for Ariana. Ariana was taken out of Hogwarts for her Second year, and was sent to a special school in Canada which focused on special abilities. Ariana learned to control the ability so it wouldn't affect her anymore and she came back a year under her classmates a new person. She started back in the Second year so she could learn what she missed. Since her friends had found out she has become an outsider and has stuck to herself, learning everything and becoming adept at Care of Magical Creatures. She has always had a special rapor with creatures and finds herself at ease around them. At the age of 14 and a half she already knows what her future holds and is working hard to achieve her goal. He is a firm believer in giving and getting respect, but also a man who is well able to spot opportunities and know which are the ones to take, and which have risks that are too great. He is polite, suave, diplomatic and a perfect gentleman. Leon also has quite the talent at putting others at ease, as he is a genuine soul who is discreet and easy to talk to. He has a Slytherin outlook and moral code, which while it is strict and he won't break his word, does not necessarily function to the standards of others, as such he's perfectly willing to use his ability to put people at ease to further his own goals, particularly if it effects the welfare of his family. He works well as part of a team, and is exactly the man to be relied upon to get a job done. He's the ultimate 'right hand man' though right now, not to anyone in particular. His own leadership skills stem more from his likeable personality than from any particular desire to be in charge, and he is effective more because he is particularly skilled at getting the best out of others than any other reason. Of course he is a trained auror and an experienced curse-breaker, so his magical ability is notable, but Leon also prides himself on being an excellent father, despite being a single parent and getting a little bit of help from his late wife's sister. History: Riley-Jo grew up in the midst of the patriarchal, traditional culture of the southern United States. A native of the small town of Greenville about 30 minutes north of Montgomery, Alabama, she more associates herself with the slow-paced, proper society in the country. From the young age of three, Riley-Jo competed in beauty pageants all over America and won so many crowns her parents cleared out an entire room in their plantation home and set it up as a shrine to her achievements. No matter the criteria for the pageant, whether it was based on academics, beauty wear, talent, service, swim suit competitions, magical prowess, or being interviewed on stage in front of hundreds of people, Riley-Jo shined light-years brighter than the rest. Despite her award-winning beauty and talent, Riley-Jo was always a humble person. Her entire life has been devoted to serving others having never before worked for a wage in her entire life. She volunteered at nursing homes, hospitals, orphanages, schools, military bases, animal shelters, and anywhere else that needed her help. In addition to the pageants and volunteer work she participated in growing up, she was a cheerleader for South Prep's Quidditch team, president of the Student Body, and won several scholastic awards. She graduated wizarding school with perfect marks and impeccable attendance and citizenship records. In true Southern Belle fashion, she married her high school sweetheart the summer after graduation. Riley-Jo was the perfect southern wife. In addition to attending Wizarding University as a major in Literature and continuing her substantial volunteer work, she ran her husband's home to his high standards of perfection. The house was always spotless, and dinner was always ready to eat minutes after he walked in the door. Guests were always welcome in her home, and no matter who stopped by, Riley-Jo graciously invited them in and offered them a glass of sweet tea and a slice of her grandmammy's famous peach cobbler. Not long after Riley-Jo and her husband were married, she became pregnant with their first child at the young age of 18. Nine months later, Sarah-Lynn Elizabeth Stout was born, and she was a beautiful, perfect, blonde-headed baby girl. After that, though, things began going downhill. Riley-Jo's husband began working later and later, and he would become angry with her for the slightest things such as not being able to keep up with her perfect appearance due to caring for their daughter along with all of her other responsibilities. Indoctrinated with her Southern Belle beliefs, though, Riley-Jo endured the arguing, taking complete blame for the bad state of her marriage and refusing to listen to that nagging voice in her head telling her to get out. Riley-Jo continued living in her husband's house, despite the fighting and failed marriage until Sarah-Lynn reached the magic age of ten, at which point she could begin attending South Prep just like her parents had. Once Sarah-Lynn left for school, Riley-Jo moved out of her husband's house and into a small apartment he was renting for her. They still attended social events together, hosted parties together at his home, and Riley-Jo still stayed at the house over the holidays when Sarah-Lynn was home. Though it wasn't ideal, it was working, and it allowed Riley-Jo to continue the life she had built without putting up with the daily fights of living with her husband. Their separation a secret, Riley-Jo could confide her feelings in no one for fear of ruining her own reputation. It would do nothing to her husband's. The society they lived in would see the ordeal as her own fault for failing to please her husband. After Sarah-Lynn's fifth year at South Prep, though, Riley-Jo returned home with her daughter for the summer only to discover that neither of them were being allowed magical access to the house anymore. Thinking this was odd, Riley-Jo attempted to unlock the doors with her Muggle key to find the locks had been changed. Riley-Jo immediately apparated with her daughter to her husband's office to demand an answer, and the two approached his door just in time to see him sliding a diamond ring onto the left hand of a blonde, leggy girl who couldn't be older than 18. Long, expensive, and difficult divorce proceedings followed soon after. Riley-Jo was given practically nothing in the settlement other than two years worth of alimony. The judge argued that a woman as bright and talented as Riley-Jo should have no problems supporting herself. However, because Riley-Jo had no job, no independent income, and no suitable place of her own to live, her husband was awarded primary custody of their now almost 15 year old daughter, Sarah-Lynn, against the girl's wishes. In addition to not being able to live with her daughter anymore, Riley-Jo lost all of her friends and the support of her family. Failed marriages were simply inexcusable in their world. After the divorce and custody proceedings were finalized, Riley-Jo fled her life and everything she'd known to move to England and start over. Immediately, she began searching for a job, and she was ecstatic when she got her first real job as the receptionist and administrative assistant at Gringotts. Her hope is that soon she will be financially self-sufficient so she can go back to court and win her daughter back, bringing her here to England to escape the society in which she's been raised. Height: 1.7 m (5’7”) Marital Status: Single Friends: *yet to be determined* Personality: Sophie is a very warm and friendly laid back girl. But when work is involved, she is very much like night and day. While working, she is quite task-focused and keeps up a front. Whilst outside of work, she is very much a free spirit and carefree. She is quite the smart young lady when it comes to figures and calculations, but matters of the heart and whatnot are not friends of hers. Often described as a workaholic, she would do anything to help a business grow and flourish. History: Sophie is the only daughter of Henning Diefendorf and Eira Harper. Even though she was borne out of wedlock, she was given her father’s last name and is his sole heir. Wanting to provide for his only daughter and child, Henning took it upon himself to fund all her needs and wishes. This did not sit well with Eira and a custody battle began. In the end, she spent most of her year with her father and the occasional summer with her mother. Even though, she didn’t see her mother as often as she would have liked, their relationship was strong and solid. Up until her eighth birthday, both her parents thought her to be a squib. It wasn’t until she accidentally blown up all the light bulbs in her father’s home, did they realize she was in fact a witch. She was later accepted to Beauxbatons and attended against her mother’s orders, as she did always want her daughter to attend Hogwarts. Upon completion of her wizard schooling, she attended a Muggle university and studied Finance for four years, whilst interning at a local bank near campus her last two years. Soon after graduation from university she moved back to England to begin graduate school at Cambridge. She eventually transferred to Vienna Graduate School of Finance, where she then finished her Master’s a semester early. With all she had learned from both her wizard and Muggle schooling, Sophie moved to Amsterdam to help re-establish a Wizarding bank. She began as a consultant to help bridge the difference between the different worlds, as there hadn’t been an openly friendly bank to both in some years. Within six months, she was acting as an assistant to the head of the bank and within a year a possible spot as the new assistant head was in her future. But before she was able to claim such an honor, she was called back to London for an infinite period of time. Not wanting to lose any of her headroom, which she worked so hard to achieve, her superiors managed to get her a transfer to Gringotts. Only after serving as a Financial assistant for seven months at Gringotts, she soon was promoted to Stocks and Trading as a Junior Broker. Working her way through the ranks, she then was offered the position of Head Broker only after nine months. Knockturn Alley Name: Rachel Fortuna Porphyry, known as Cleopatra Date of Birth: June 21, 2046 Age: 25 Years attended Hogwarts (or other school): homeschooled up to age 11 Current Occupation: None, unless you want to count thievery. Previous Occupation(s): oddball jobs – whatever she could do without identification documents Eye Color: muddy green/brown Hair: dulll, chocolate brown Height: 5' 6" Marital Status: single Friends: none Personality: Cleopatra is a survivor. Hard-nosed and shrewd, she may at times appear overly confident. Second to this, she is highly suspicious and thinly masks a quick temper. She has a high sense of what is fair and what is not but only when it comes to herself. History: Rachel was raised in a "perfect" pureblood household - her family was composed of nothing but honest, upstanding, wizarding citizens. The ideal family. Money was never an issue, but both parents (Alexandra Anketos and Demetrius Porphyry) chose to hold high-up Ministry positions because of their dedication to the community. Together, they had seven children, of which Rachel was the youngest (the others were named: Leander, Phillip, Ada, Cassander, Meda, and Idrieus). The first six were all gifted, and Rachel was to be no exception. Though she did not show any signs of magical talent, Alexandra and Demetrius were not worried. These things took time. But when the September of her 11th year came and went and no letter was recieved, they panicked. Afraid of loosing their reputation, their self image, they performed complex memory charms on their neighbors, so no one would remember Rachel. Then, when they realized charming every single relation and acquaintance was nearly impossible, they faked their death (by Lethifold). The elder children, five of them adults, half of them married, mourned the death of their parents and sister. Idrieus, still under 17, moved in with an aunt and uncle to finish his education at Hogwarts. To this day, they are all leading moderately successful lives. The three Porphyry’s started a new life in Bosnia-Herzegovina under the name of Smith. While Alexandra and Demetrius, now Janet and Richard, made a modest living through Mandrake farming, Rachel found herself imprisoned in the 6 room house’s basement, cut off from human contact. It was there, amidst all the ‘junk,’ the squib secretly honed her potion making skills, using a cauldron, portable, two burner camping stove left by the previous owners, and whatever had the potential to be an ingredient. Then, one day in the Fall of '63, the house burned down, killing both Janet and Richard. And that's how Rachel returned to her birth country (England) and wheedled her way into the wizarding underground (through spiking unsuspecting wizard's drinks with love potions and stealing their money - earning her the name Cleopatra). |

He doesn’t show them off in public view most of the time, but you may get a glimpse or two if you’re lucky. Having a lean build, Brett is usually found wearing loose jeans, shirt, and leather jacket. History: Born in Maryland, Brett moved to his current location of London, England approximately three years ago. He had traveled other places during his life, but never managed to stay in one place since he discovered that he was a wizard. He attended Spellman Academy in Massachusetts before traveling to Egypt after his studies were finished. Here, he spent time on an archaeological dig, either helping the main partners with digging or taking on other tasks which required a 'persuasive' figure who possessed certain methods to get the job done. In his earlier life, he was the rebellious kid, refusing to listen to anyone, and doing things his own way to survive. Once he reached age 25, he settled down, though the hard times of his past stay with him. It’s one of the reasons he won’t change his appearance, for it's like a string that holds him to his past, showing him the mistakes he made, and ensuring that he doesn’t repeat history. Personality: Brett is generally a friendly person, especially with the ladies. However, he tends to retreat behind the ‘bad boy’ image if he feels threatened in some way, even if it’s by a disapproving look at his general appearance. In general, however, Brett has a laissez-faire attitude about life. His philosophy is - Life goes on without a pause, so either you go with the flow or get trampled. When you finally break his hard exterior, you’ll see that Brett can be easy to get along with. However, his temper can get the best of him at times, especially when disrespect is shown in any form towards himself or others that he holds a relationship with. Flourish & Blotts History: Desperately needing a job when he moved to London, but not wanting to settle for just anything, Brett came across an ad placed for an assistant for the bookstore. Brittany Breitbarth is the daughter of Heinrich Breitbarth, a German muggle and Jennifer Breitbarth, a British pureblood witch, which makes her a halfblood. She attended Hogwarts as a young girl and was sorted into the house of Gryffindor, something she has always been proud of. With her carrot red hair, clear complexion and bright green eyes, she is vibrant and attractive, with an unusual fashion sense. Where most redheads would shy away from colors like hot pink and red, Brittany loves these bright colors most of all. She always claims they make her "happy". After graduating from Hogwarts, Brittany worked as an assistant healer at St. Mungo's, finally finding work in the Department of Education at the Ministry of Magic. (Some of you will remember her from the term when there was no Hogwarts but there were two separate schools, one for boys and one for girls. Brittany taught Muggle Studies that term, as a Ministry professor. Due to her kind nature, the girls won her over by the end of the term and she came to see their side of the story.) Brittany left the Ministry, determined to help people, but she wanted to give herself a little time to think. She decided some adventure was just the thing, and began exploring some of the more exotic locations throughout the wizarding world. She met vampires, visited faraway lands where creatures such as hippogriffs roam free, and explored some of the many famous and infamous legends dealing with such fabled creatures as the yeti and the werewolf. It was during these trips that an inspiration came to her, her true calling. She knew that it was her goal in life to encourage others to free their inner self, to go and see things they had only dreamed of seeing, to let their true adventurous nature run free. History Daniella was born on the 26th April 2043 to a young couple in the seaside town of Penzance. Her mother was a healer in a Small Hospital that dealt with Minor injuries, and her Father worked in the Ministry of Magic. Ella was an only child up until just before her 3rd birthday when her younger brother David was born. The siblings got along quite well, both enjoying playing on the beach. Ella’s childhood was quite interesting. The family stayed within Penzance, and the children were home-schooled by their mother on her days off. When Ella was 11 her parents decided that she would attend Hogwarts, and so she was sorted into Gryffindor house. She missed home a lot, never having been out of Penzance, but she soon began to love Hogwarts, developing a passion for potions. Those were her favourite subjects, although she pretty good at the others too. She mostly kept to herself, but she did have a small group of friends, which was fun. Going through school, Ella didn’t really know what she wanted to do after graduation. So she just concentrated on all her lessons, hoping to get good grades. Still not really knowing what she wanted to do she went back home, and took a job into a local shop. This was where she stayed until she was 26, just enjoying the life in Penzance, she did love the little town after all. Aged 26 she decided she really needed to do something with her life. Leaving Penzance she went to Wizarding University in Sydney, Australia. It was far from home, and she did miss it a lot, but she loved her time there. She studied potions. 4 years later she graduated, and moved back home. Wanting a break before getting a job, she settled back home, getting used to the gentle Penzance life again. |

One thing he loves more than anything his helping other, specially young one. In his mind they are the one who need more attention. Anytime he was able to learn something new, he would jump on the occasion. Just a year prior to be old enough to go to school, both his parents were concerned over the fact that he and his twin brother (Chester) had never shown any sign of magic until then. The concerned weren't over the fact that he might be a squib but over the fact of how well they couldn't handle this situation. They openly talk with him about this subject. Not shying away from the this one bit, Abraham had explain to them that he didn't see the necessity of using magic so far. He was absolutely able to use it but why wasting something when he didn't require it. For Abraham since his brother weren't able to used it, he wasn't to either. The day after this little chat was the day the famous Hogwarts letter came in. Not sure if it would be best to send him that far away, his first year was at the local wizard school in Canada but the curiosity of Abraham toward Hogwarts was growing so much that the year after he was sent to Hogwarts. Even if that meant to be away of those who he loved very much. There at Hogwarts was were he truly found out his love for everything earthy. He mentor wasn't a teacher but the groundskeeper. Following the man as much as he could after his classes, Abraham was always eager to see more to learn more. The summer of is fifteen birthday was when he first ask he's father to work with him. He wanted to do something constructive during the summer and at the same time he would be able to learn a bit more about plants. Along with going to Hogwarts, Abraham was also following philosophy lesson. Philosopher like Descartes or Aristotle was intriguing. Not putting aside is love for nature, at the age of twenty one, he decided to applied to a private school in order to become a part-time teacher. But instead he was proposed a full-time job. The direction had noticed how much confortable he was in front of an audience and he's eased to express himself. Loving his job very much this was where he meet his future wife, Rosa. During his last year he started to write for The Practical Potioneer. One of his favorite newspaper. This was giving him opportunity to used he's skill about plants. Been help by his wife, who was a rather gift potioneer. She had taught him everything she knew until a fatal accident. Mixing the wrong ingredient together the worst happen. Nothing the healers at St-Mungos could have done to reverse it. It was then that Abraham made a promess to keep on learning about potion making. Only few weeks after the incident, he received an owl from The Pratical Potioneer. A job was opening up as editor in Chef. Not sure if he wanted that job or keep the one he already have, Abraham took a leap of faith. He liked change too much to resist this offer. Along with working at the newspaper, he was also able to travel. Helping others was really fulfilling himself. At the age of sixty six, Abraham decided it was time for him to retired. Moving down to Hawaii seems to be the best thing. There he open up an animal center. Not a year had gone by that he didn't stop learning more about the world of potioneer. No matter how busy he was at the new center. Getting help from the local who were more than happy to help him, Abraham was happy so far with his life. Nothing could have predict that he would change since life seems good. After hearing about an incident in Diagon Alley, he an opportunity to reinstore Slug and Jiggers Apothecary to his former glory, the man didn't hesitate. It didn't took him long to buy the shop. What better way to keep the promess he had made to his wife all those years ago. |

Homeschooled until the age of 11 and she was then sent off to an All girl Private Boarding School in Switzerland to 'learn her role in life.' Unfortunately to them but fortunately to her, she took advantage of the time away from her parents and took on carious part time jobs to save up for College. Something that to her parents was not even a vague possibility. Once graduated, she then struck out to the Wizarding University in the UK. Her family thinking she'd give up after her first semester, paid that first year begrudgingly, sure she would tire of living on her own and come crawling back....However, they soon realized it wasn't so, and threatened to cut her off financially if she didn't come home.Enough was enough of her antics and she was to be a proper lady and obey her father. Ray ignored her family's wishes and continued on taking on numerous work study programs and scholarships to get by and finally graduate with a Double Masters in Wizarding Anthropology/Archeology with a minor in Advanced Charmwork. Upon learning at her graduation that Ray aimed for a career in Egypt at Archeology sites possibly curse breaking on the side, her father even went as far as threatening to disown her not knowing that almost that same day a certain spinster aunt who admired her spunk had kicked the bucket and left her small property in London along with a small savings to her favorite niece. Suffice to say Ray did not oblige to her father's orders and struck out on her own. Taking two years off to travel and intern in different museums with both magical and muggle digsites, she cut off almost all ties with her family and lived the life she wanted. But eventually her saved resources ran out. Which brings us to her current situation. Having just moved into her Aunt's small London townhouse and looking for a job to save up for a move to Egypt. |
