Sylvester, during his time at school, was one of those guys that got along with everyone and everyone got along with him (even the Slytherins). He made a point of speaking to everyone he could and befriending most. He was well liked and Sylvester tried to make everyone happy. Academically he wasn't greatest student, but he was far from being the worst. It was during his time at Hogwarts and his interactions there that helped him decide what it was he wanted to do when he graduated Hogwarts: become a Healer, or more specifically, a therapist.

After he left Hogwarts, he volunteered in a number of places including a charitable organisation supporting homeless witches and wizards, and also a care service offered to distressed muggle parents who had recently discovered their children had magical abilities. Three years passed of Sylvester gaining this kind of experience before he applied to St. Mungos for an internship to train as a qualified general healer, specialising in wizardy therapy later.

His training took him seven years in total to complete all elements of his Healer training and also his speciality education. He had made a great number of friends during this time and had even had a small thing with one of his colleagues, a Miss. Mackenzie Sparx. He and Mackenzie broke it off after their training officially concluded and agreed to go their separate ways.

Sylvester spent around a year working as a fully qualified Wizarding Therapist in St. Mungos before dedicating himself to a contract with Hepzibah's Clinic For the Magically Deranged. He dealt with the likes of muggles who had been exposed to magic and were suffering from the ordeal mentally or wizards whose spells may have messed with their mental well being, plus much more. The job brought something new to the table everyday and Sylvester LOVED it.

Everything was going smoothly in his life until two years later when he returned home to find that someone had broken into his apartment and abandoned a baby. His baby. The note that was left amongst the bundled child explained that Mackenzie had fallen pregnant during their time together. She kept Terri (that was his name) a secret considering how adamant Sylvester had been that they break it off. She further explained how difficult it was for her to find work as a single mother, no one wanting to take on a female Healer with such draining responsibilities. She claimed she could deal with it no longer and that she was now leaving Terri in his custody and his custody alone.

Sylvester tried to track down Mackenzie, but to no avail. He suspected she had moved country to make it difficult for him to find her. Despite being landed with a baby, he managed. It was rocky at first, but once he got his shifts slightly altered at the clinic and a loyal nanny in place, his life started to get back on track again and now he had a boy who he loved to pieces.

As the years went on, however, Sylvester found himself not being that interested in his work as he once was. He began resenting people coming and moaning to him about their problems as if they were the only important thing in the world. He slowly grew grumpy, and with Terri growing older and more demanding, stress and life was starting to get him down. Particularly since he felt lonely most of all, not having gone on a date with someone in a good few years.

He soon quit his job, refusing to be around people. He applied to the Daily Prophet for their vacancy regarding a Health and Advice Columnist. He figured that this way he didn't actually have to DEAL with the people face to face. However, the damage was done and he had just become a bitter soul, feeling as if the world was out to get him. The problems he was sometimes sent infuriated him even more than the ones he experienced in the clinic since they were usually even MORE ridiculous.

Sylvester has also recently found out that his son, now 11, is a squib, which he isn't taking too kindly to. He is trying to power through and act as if it doesn't matter, but deep down it DOES matter. He's been trying to use muggle devices as part of his day to day workings to see if he can UNDERSTAND the life his son will be living a little bit more, but it is proving fruitless...

History:
Jude was born in Derby shire on a farmland, of which his parents owned. He never had many friends as a little kid, apart from his favourite sheep who he named Hocus. He was home schooled until the age of eleven, and then upgraded to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was a shock to the system, to say the least. He was sorted into Ravenclaw house, where he made quite a lot of friends. He'd been a character all his life, always adding a little extra volume to things. It wasn't until his seventh year, when Hocus passed away, that he went a little quiet and totally studies-focused. People laughed at his sheep-grief. But Hocus WAS his best friend since he was 6 years old, so...

Jude graduated Hogwarts with great exam results, and decided to take some time away from the farm he had grown up in. He spent five years travelling the world, using money from his parents and obviously, working his way along the routes. He'd met many people and learned many cultures and languages on his journeys, and when he was twenty-four, Jude decided to return home for a while.
He didn't settle down great, living a year with his parents to work at the farm. His cousin also lived there, too. After his parents were tragically killed in a car collision. Jude enjoyed having William there, but he soon realized that his pair of hands were no longer required at the farm. So he needed to find something else to do.

When he turned twenty-eight, and after endless job hunting, Jude was given a shopkeeper opportunity in Diagon Alley. It was awesome, and was definitely a boost from the downfall of his life that he'd been going through.

Personality:
Jude is a very positive and ambient character, adding extra volume to stuff. As a child, he'd always run along the fields with Hocus, screaming at the top of his lungs just for the sake of it. He also liked rolling down hills at epic speed, but what kid DIDN'T love doing that? Jude is very clever, getting this trait from his father who taught him as a child. He took these brains to Hogwarts, where he excelled in his exams. His favourite subject was Care of Magical Creatures, obviously.

Taking his loud and positive attitude into light, Jude is a very easy person to get along with. He likes to make people smile, but without making them uncomfortable. Because his welcoming exterior can often do that to people... He has been through all of his adulthood, after one failure of a girlfriend in school. Jude has commitment issues, which comes from his dislike to settle down with something. Hopefully, the new job will allow him that closure.

Personality:
A bit of a grump. Jaded. Tends to expect his parade will be rained on. He's more at home on his own than he is in big groups, and he loves nature. He's quite the adventurer and enjoys getting out there in the world, which is why he was attracted to wandlore, and particularly in actually making his own wands. He's fairly hopeless with people though, and finds it easier to understand a person based on their wand match than by actually getting to know them. He's not comfortable with anyone whose wand he doesn't know. He's got a real knack for working with wand woods, and loves working with unstable and rare cores. Likes jazz music. Thinks you are boring. Has no time for hooligans. Never reads fiction books. Ever. Believes in 'street justice' but doesn't have any sort of ability to carry it out. Really good at coming up with comebacks well after they are needed. Has been known to shake his fist at those darn kids and complain about how things were different back in his day. Acts seventy. History:
Ira Banner is the middle child in his family. He has an older brother, Helo, who is annoyingly perfect, and a younger sister Hollis, who is annoyingly cheerful. This leaves Ira who is neither of those things. He loves his family but Merlin, they're annoying. Problem is that they are people and Ira isn't a big fan of those at the best of times. Ira is a published author, who has several works on wandlore available. He has been working at Ollivanders since June 2079, and acquired it as his own in August 2085 after purchasing it from Bryce McLaughlin, the previous owner and the man who had originally hired him, after Bryce chose to sell up to see to his family.

Personality:
Ebenezer comes off as bit creepy. He's always around when you don't want him, but never there when you need him to be. Just because you can't find him doesn't mean he's not slacking off from his responsibilities. He's a good conversationalist, but will usually be doing something while speaking with you, which may come off as rude at times. He is obsessive about anything his biological Father is up to, and idolizes him. He does not like his Mother's new family, and finds them rather lame. Bringing them up will usually cause Ebenezer to ignore you.

Biography:
Ebenezer was born to Pureblood parents of German descent in Cologne, Germany where they raised him. Unfortunately, his father filed for divorce only a few years into his Education at Hogwarts. Taking legal custody of her son, his mother decided to move to America where Ebenezer would finish his Education at the Salem Institute in Massachusetts. While he was away at school, his mother remarried. This hurt him a great deal because he loved his Father despite the little contact they had with each other. With that said, he loathed his Step-Father because the man pushed Ebenezer to focus all his attention towards succeeding in school...and forbade him from partaking in club sports, such as Gobstones (the sport that his Father went Professional in)
After Graduating, Ebenezer decided to continue his education further and applied to Edinburgh's Wizarding University. Uncertain in what to excel in, he chose Foreign Languages, because he wasn't keen on focusing on a single subject. He also took time to join the University's Gobstones club, hoping to improve his skills in the sport even more. He'd become infamous with his aggressive play and bad sportsmanship. Ebenezer set a University Record of most penalties given in one year, leaving the previous record completely shattered. All the while, he had really warmed up to his Major and went on to study three other languages along side the original, which was German.
After Graduating, Ebenezer moved to Wales and tried out multiple times for the Welsh Gobstones Club that his Father had played for in his youth. Unable to secure a spot right away, he took on a muggle Mail room job to support himself while he continued to chase his dreams over the following three years. After his latest failed attempt at making the club his Father got in contact with him, convincing Ebenezer to move on and continue his studies in Foreign Languages. Applying back to EWU, he began his Masters coursework, choosing two Creature-languages to also improve on. He has yet to decide if he will rejoin the University's Gobstones Club on account of his constant moving back and forth between classes at Edinburgh's sister university and EWU.

Was born to be a Hufflepuff, the sorting hat once said when placed onto his head when he was eleven. And was the hat ever wrong? Caring and nice, Silas was and still is. Yet, his sisters who were Gryffindors must have influenced him. So his personality is an interesting combination. Despite the niceness and the humor, he is hardworking and smart. Humble but confident enough to know his potential and what it might get. He likes children and knows how to have fun. But when it's business and working time, he doesn't fool around but stay focused.

Silas was raised in a family consisting of two parents and two sisters. One being older than him by a year and the other younger than him. He went to Hogwarts and graduated from there in the House of Hufflepuff where he met and made lots of friends and acquaintances. Upon graduation he attempted to continue his education but he found himself in business branch and there he headed and got involved. Throughout his life, he traveled around chasing after chances and wanting to participate in any opportunity that presented itself to him. Not all were successful but he gained experience from all and without them all he wouldn't have matured and became the person that he is.
After getting married he settled in Scotland. That until he made enough money to start a new business and move back to England with his wife and two kids.

Val was an only child. He spent majority of his time raised at the Sanctuary following his mother's death. His father wasn't present at the time, and he didn't care to find him since he wasn't searching for him anyway. The summer following his eleven birthday, Val was accepted at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic where he began living throughout his entire education when it wasn't summer. Val paid more careful attention to his studies than increasing his reputation of remaining anti-social in the library.

His best friend Deacon offered him a place to stay in London after his sixth year, away from the Sanctuary and after he helped around the Bertino family's shop, he was encouraged to find a job after graduating in the meantime while he was unsure on his future. Val began interning during the summer and despite a certain incident he was offered a full-time position as assistant, which he gratefully accepted.
