Personality: The fourth child of eight children, Cedric is used to being stuck in the middle and just wanting to keep the peace. Whenever his siblings would start an argument, he was usually the one trying to mediate between them – at least until it got too overwhelming, then he would back down and avoid them until they calmed down.
Background: Born in 2060 in England, Cedric was only about 5 years old when his family moved to the United States. Once he was 11, he officially found out he was magical, just like his older siblings Cadence, Callum, and Cora, and he was accepted into Ilvermorny, where he was sorted into Pukwudgie.
He enjoyed his time at school, though he was also looking forward to university by the time his seventh year rolled around. The Wizarding University campus in Sydney, Australia was one of the places he applied to, and he was thrilled to be accepted. There, he studied Business Administration and Management.
During his third year, he met winged horse racer, Skyla Fletwock, and they quickly fell in love. During his last year at university, he proposed, and they got married on August 30, 2083.
By this time, they had moved back to the UK, where Skyla lived, and he started working at her family’s winged horse stables. He started as a stablehand, mostly cleaning out stalls, but they quickly gave him other jobs over the years, seeing how he worked well with the horses. It wasn’t what he had initially pictured himself doing, but he soon grew to enjoy being around the horses and watching them compete in races. He especially enjoyed watching his wife compete – sometimes winning, sometimes losing.
Over the years though, their relationship gradually grew strained. Cedric wanted to be a father, but Skyla kept putting it off every time they discussed it, saying they could discuss it later. Over the past couple years in particular, she started staying away from home for longer periods of time. Whenever he asked her about it, she often said that she was hanging out with her racing friends and it had lasted longer than she’d thought it would. He believed her at first, but as the times she was away kept getting longer and longer, she grew more and more distant. Frustrated, he finally confronted her about it, and she told him she didn’t want to be married to him anymore.
Confused and heartbroken, Cedric went in to work for a few more days before he told her parents he was going to quit. When he explained why, they, too, were surprised when he told them what Skyla had said, as she hadn’t told them yet. They promised to talk to her, but they all doubted it would do any good.
Desperately in need of a job, he saw that the Owl Post Office in Diagon Alley was up for sale, and he quickly put in an offer. Personality: Valerie is a relatively quiet, thoughtful, soft-spoken person, though she's not necessarily shy. She likes to think about what she wants to say before she says it, probably a little too much sometimes, and she enjoys listening to other people talk. When she's on stage, though, she can be a completely different person, depending on what the character is like. She is very hard-working in everything she does and tries to give it her all. Background: Valerie has always had a pretty normal, good life. She's grown up with a loving family and great friends. Her school life was also mostly normal, especially for Hogwarts, since she tried to mind her own business and tried not get into much trouble. Personality: Vashti can be a little shy when she is in a new place and knows absolutely nobody, but generally she's very bubbly, out-going, and fun-loving. She loves to laugh and have a good time, though she does know when to be serious. She's typically very even-tempered but can become very frustrated and angered by certain things, and she can be incredibly stubborn.
Being a Ravenclaw, Vashti is very intelligent though she tries not to act like a know-it-all. She likes to think logically but certainly isn't afraid to think outside the box, and she absolutely adores reading - she almost always has a book with her. Her number one dream was to become a famous singer, but she also would prefer something that would incorporate her other favorite subjects (like Alchemy, Potions, and Transfiguration). After a few years, she decided she wasn’t satisfied with this and chose to move back to the country she spent her first eleven years of life at – England. She came to England in June 2076 and started looking around for a job in the Wizarding World that she could apply for, eventually finding that the Owl Post Office in Diagon Alley had an open spot.
