While sitting in the Leaky Cauldron, a stranger approached him and offered to sell him a 2 month-old baby badger for ten Galleons. William jumped at the deal and that day became papa to little Ralphie. But as Ralphie grew and matured, it was revealed that he wasn't a badger - he was actually a skunk.
