"Kind of...I mean, I never really fit in with the cool people." He didn't mind anymore, he was used to it. After Aurora took her hand away, Kennedy did the same, and acted like if he was petting his sleeping Pygmy Puff. This was kind of awkward for him. What was he supposed to do? What did it mean?
Kennedy spotted an owl flying towards him and he almost freaked out. The bird was going to mess their game up! Then, the bird landed a lot more gracefully than he would have guessed. Phew. Kennedy nodded and waited for Aurora to read her letters. Hmm, he should be getting his mom's soon as well.
Babies? Aunty Ra-RA? Wow, Aurora was an aunty...wow. She was young. "Congrats, Aunty Ra-Ra!" Kennedy chuckled. This must be a huge moment for her. Heck, if he would ever be an uncle he'd be happy too, but that wasn't going to happen since he didn't have any siblings. He couldn't understand the writing on the letter, just the Aunty Ra-Ra part which kind of told him everything.

He was going to pass out. Kennedy was SO going to pass out. This was too much for the poor boy. The only kisses he's received were from his mom, but she was Mom so it didn't count. Oh man...oh man...oh man....
Not showing his internal freaking out moment, Kennedy managed to keep a proper posture. "I-I...U-U-Uhh...I-I-It's a-alright," he said, trying his best to keep a straight voice.

Aurora frowned slightly, so the white squares were useless... hmmm... She was going to take her turn when Sage arrived...
She opened her mouth....then closed it again. Then opened it... gave up, closed it and turned to the checkers board. With her index finger she pushed B2 to C3. She tried not to look at him, she knew he'd be blushing and that would just make her want to hug him again... and she didn't trust herself... Ahh! Stupid Aurora! I need to learn to control myself... I shouldn't be let out of the house... she thought to herself.
So snow in Britain wasn't as happy as snow in America. Whatever. Walking hurriedly to a random spot on the table, I slowly sat down in contrast to my almost jogging a second before. Well. Here I was. With my beloved cup of coffee. Thank the lord. For a few seconds I just sat there, breathing in the wonderful waft of the drink while rubbing my hands on the steamy exterior. Ah...the many uses of a good mug of coffee.
I rubbed my rosy red nose in excitement as I prepared myself for my first sip of coffee of the season. By myself.

"Er, what's the actual point of this game?" she asked him. She glanced up as he cleared his throat, her hair falling back to reveal the pink glow of her blush on her usually pale skin.
"Oh, he er... he works with my dad and they do a lot of stuff with dark magic and things. Like - they aren't dark wizards or anything." she added hastily. "At least, I don't think so. But I'm not allowed to know what they do... anyway, he - Kryspin, my brother - had been out alone for ages and when he came back he couldn't speak or breath properly or anything and he was in St Mungo's and they had no idea what was wrong and they tried everything and they thought he might not get better but they managed to stabilise him long enough for him to come home but he was still ill and... yeah. And now they've figured out what happened. And he's okay." she said. She realised she was rambling just to avoid talking about... well.
There was no use pretending it didn't happen - she knew from experience that it didn't work with stuff like that. She looked right at him, making eye contact. "I err... sorry about that. It wasn't fair, really... I was just a little over-excited and I didn't think and... well, you're cute and I was happy and... I got carried away." There. She might be being a drama queen and blowing it out of proportion like usual... but she had said how she felt and now she was feeling much less awkward about it. "I um... won't do it again." she said, blinking and looking back at the board.

Marie still had not given her hate potion to anyone and the assignment was due in just a few hours. She had really been struggling with who she was going to give it to. She knew it was supposed to be someone that she knew cared about her, or possibly even loved her. There was just no way she could bring herself to have Matty drink that potion though... and he was the only one she knew for a fact loved her.
She was NOT going to let him hate her for anything. Not even for a grade.
In the end she had decided she was going to trick Carter into drinking her potion. Sure, he acted like he hated her but she knew deep down that he didn't, that he still cared a lot about her. Why else would he be so damn jealous of Matty? She figured the best way to find out his true feelings was to have him hate her even more than he already acts like he does, then once the potion wears off see how he acts. He was either going to admit that he cares about her or still yell and scream at her. If he still hated her then she would know there really was no repairing their friendship.
Making her way into the Great Hall she went over to the Slytherin table and sat where she knew Marilyn sat most of the time. She figured Carter would be along looking for Cousin IT at some point and that's when she would trick him into drinking the potion.
Sitting so she could see who was walking through the door she poured herself a glass of orange juice. She then poured a second glass... then dumped in a phial of her hate potion. Setting the spiked juice off to the side she took a sip of her own juice... then watched the door.

As Isabelle hurried towards the Great Hall she felt the pygmy puff relax in her hands. Did that mean she was done hating Isabelle? Isabelle decided not to look. She would look when she sat down.
Nina looked around. Did she wake up from a dream? Didn't just a minute ago she hated the wonderful Isabelle who was carrying her. But, she loved Isabelle, didn't she. Isabelle was her owner.
Isabelle sat down and carefully opened her hands. Aww cute, Nina was rubbing up against her softly. The potion had surely worn off. Isabelle grabbed a piece of chicken and cut it up into little pieces. Here was the food for little Nina. She put some in front of the puffball.
Nina rubbed nicely up against Isabelle. Ohh she was giving her food. Nina quickly began to nibble on the pieces of chicken. She loved her owner ♥

Wiping her eyes of the mirthful tears, she stepped a bet closer to Marie. If this girl wanted a showdown, they could do this. The smirk was telling on the blondes face. "It shows your insecurity. What would you be without all those people? Nobody. Me, though? I don't really need anyone..." She ran a hand through her hair. Something was tingling in her chest...and it was hard to distinguish what it was from. "I'm stronger than that, Marie...I've been through a lot and its really and have grown so much more than you have in our years at Hogwarts."
She had her best friend, Cassie...Her one Slytherin friend she truly trusted, Evelyn...and the Gryffindor boys, Josh...who would have done anything for her...and Carter. She had everything she needed. "You've got a lot to learn...but you're so arrogant that I doubt you will. That's the problem..."

Marie rolled her eyes at Marilyn. She really didn't care about anything that Marilyn thought. Marilyn meant NOTHING to her. Her thoughts, her feelings, her problems... Marie didn't give a damn about them... at all. "They may be TRUE friends as you call them however that still doesn't make you any sort of a true or good friend at all." It didn't matter how many friends you had that were true to you... if you didn't return that true friendship back.
"Me? Insecure? Dream on." There may have been a time that she had insecurities but that all vanished the first time Matty told her he loved her. He made her see what a great person she was, that it didn't matter what others thought about her. All that mattered was what she thought about herself.
"I think it's YOU who has a lot to learn here. I'm not arrogant in any way. What I am is CONFIDENT. Something you obviously know nothing about." That's right. Marie was confident Carter was only talking to Marilyn because he felt sorry for her... and because like she had told IT already... he couldn't have her. She knew that if Carter thought for one moment there was the slightest chance of him and Marie getting back together he would never treat her the way he has been treating her. She knew it was just his way of protecting himself.
Where was that boy when she needed him? She would so have him drink this other phial of potion she had just to prove her point... once the effects wore off him.

But, when he entered the Great Hall he didn't see Destiny at all.
He did however spot Marilyn and Marie talking to each other. "Nice to see you two getting along." he said happily taking a seat beside the two.
"Either of you happen to see Destiny around lately?" he asked glancing up at the door. "She's been avoiding me ever since she stole my badge back after the match."
She was avoiding him. He knew it.

Well look who just walked in. The very person Marie had been hoping to see all morning.... Carter. And as usual he was totally oblivious to what was going on there. "We are NOT in any way getting along here."
Pfft! Marilyn had the nerve to call her miserable? "You have no room to talk you pathetic excuse for a human." And the girl just drank some more of the spiked orange juice. Just great, did that mean she was going to get even nastier with her? Like that could even happen.
Of course Carter was going to ask where Destiny was. Could they ever have a conversation that didn't involve that girl? It's like Carter was obsessed with her. "The last I seen her she was still sleeping."
Seeing that Carter was looking towards the door and Marilyn was staring at a wall, Marie quickly poured another glass of orange juice. She then slipped her hand in her pocket, uncorked the second phial that was in there and in a flash dumped its contents into the glass of juice. She then slipped the phial back into her pocket.
Turning back to Carter she smiled. "Here, have some orange juice. Maybe she'll be along soon." Just as soon as someone pried her out of her bed that is.
Marie knew that once he swallowed that juice he was going to be hating her just as much as Marilyn hated her. However, she felt it was going to all be worth it in the end... when Marilyn heard with her own ears just how much Carter cared about her. Her being Marie... NOT Marilyn.
Was homework getting harder and longer or was it just the- ACHU! -the girl walking into the Great Hall with a red nose? Louisa had abandoned her Ancient Runes homework up at the tower and headed down to get some lemonade juice... and other mysterious totally da- ACHU! -dangerous reasons too.
Like coming to the Snakes table instead of the Eagles.
And si- ACHU! -sitting down, craning her neck in all directions looking for that oh-so-lovely boyfriend. Pfffft, that word started to seem lame. That Po- ACHU! -Polly boy made it sound really poor relationship. But what did he know of successful, intellectual and understanding relationships? Nothing! HEH.

Joćo chuckled at his mispronunciation of his name again. So far only she was allowed to mispronounce it that horribly, but she made it sound too cute to even correct. Or, at least until he got bored. He got bored of any girl, eventually. His eyes twinkled and he didn't even care her sneeze on his jumper.
His good humour was short lived.
He frowned, inclining his head to the side as he tried to come up with an answer. She was angry, sure enough. And she was also annoyed. Pretty annoyed, in fact. Oh, gosh. If that Adam boy had got into her head, he was DEAD, I'm tellin' ya.
"Louisa!" he exclaimed as if to calm her down, reaching out to touch her cheek. "I can never forget this pretty face." It was always in the depths, albeit sometimes quite deep, of his mind. "I was only busy. I've sent you a note explaining the situation. I... thought it was OK." No?
