Arya couldn't really explain the reasoning behind why their new head was introducing herself to the Puffs. Maybe she wanted to welcome them personally, now that they were her students and all. The young girl couldn't be bothered by thinking about it.

And she couldn't be bothered with caring if he actually understood her explanation.

"I don't think it can be fixed." She sighed again and bit down on her bottom lip, trying to decide how much she could tell him. "He lied about a bunch of stuff with his family." Her voice lowered so that only he could hear and her eyes lowered. As much as she was upset with and hurt by Sabel, she didn't want to tell all his secrets. But maybe she could tell Treyen a little more. "I've... considered that. Just a little bit. It still doesn't make what he did forgivable. He lied, Treyen. He lied about so much and even after he still didn't even care to..." She shook her head to keep the tears at bay. Arya hated it all, and if he was trying to protect her? Well, he failed at that.

Wait. WHAT!?

"I meant...fix you." That was all that mattered to him, as selfish as it may sound, he just wanted to have his old friend back, and Sabel was the one to blame to this. Just as he was the one to blame for Ellie's lack of trust on him. Granted, she was working on that but the MAIN difference was...that Treyen never lied to her, despite whatever Ellie wanted to think. However, Sabel had lied to Arya, about some reasons he didn't know and was probably never going to know if Arya didn't tell him. Again, he wasn't truly asking for the reasons, he just wanted her back.

"I'm not taking anyone's side here, well, no, I'm taking yours...but, what I mean is...there's a reason why he did it, right?" did he even had a point? It seemed like he never did whenever he entered serious discussions. He breathed in and out before moving on, quite literally, because he moved closer to Arya as well, Perseus could leave them for a while now, "There's gotta be a reason for that." His eyes went over to the fire. There HAD to be a reason for Sabel to lie to her. He'd seemed like the kind of guy who wouldn't do that, correct? The one that wouldn't hurt their friend? Yes.

"You know...," this was totally unrelated but..., "...all I've wanted to do was not hurt Ellie in any way," he started to say, eyes on Arya now, "But I've always ended up doing just that. Hurting her." He HAD a point, just wait. That was the truth, though, he'd always hurt her somehow, even when she was super proud of having come up with a name for her owl and he'd managed to question the name itself. "I...don't know why she wants to be with me," especially after all the hurt he'd caused, "But I don't question it in front of her because I don't want to lose her," and how did he manage to make this whole thing about himself and Ellie? Gilderoy was most gifted in turning every conversation into something that involved him, Treyen wasn't. Apparently. "My point is simple. He cares about you, I remember his face when he looked at you, and it was NOT a very nice sight for me, really, so, there had to be a great reason for him to lie, he wouldn't hurt you on purpose," he kind of knew you didn't hurt people you cared about on purpose, "How big were the lies?" was it something she could live with? "And...actually, I think the most important question is...have you talked to him?"

"... Oh." Arya hadn't even thought about fixing herself, hadn't know she needed fixing. But she supposed if Treyen figured something was wrong with her, then she needed some fixing. There was only one way to fix her though, and she wasn't sure how he was gonna do that seeing how she wasn't speaking to Sabel.

A shrug rolled off her shoulder, and she let her eyes drift over to the fire place. "He said he was afraid of loosing me. Such a stupid reason." Only it wasn't 'cause he did tell her and he did end up losing her in a sense. Only because it'd taken him years to tell her and she'd been last to know though. Perseus didn't mind his moving closer and Arya didn't seem to notice, but the kneazle wasn't leaving her lap until she commanded him to, and even then it would be relcutantly. "And he didn't want me to worry about him, but he knows. He knows I always worry." Even now. So what was one more worry if it meant no secrets?

She didn't interupt his story, only because she much prefered listening to him talk about Ellie and his relationship, even if it did make her think of Sabel. "Your sounding like him." She whispered finally. It was both annoying and endearing. "I haven't spoken to him since the start of summer." Her eyes turned up to him. "There big enough," And then she proceeded to tell him one of the lies. The one that hurt the most and had her eyes glistening.

Quidditch team? "No, not really.." Daphne didn't even know how to play quidditch so there was no question of her joining any team. But..she would definitely learn to play the game, though..maybe, someone could teach her? Yeah. Possible. Hm. "How about you?"

Okay. Aaron was officially weird. "Yeah..of course." She gave him a smile..although, it might have looked more like a grimace.

Daphne couldn't help but laugh at his attempt to bow. She stood up and took a bow as well. She sat back down before she turned towards him again. "You're funny...or you're trying to be funny. I'm not sure which.."

Oh? Are you serious? That had seemed like the most obvious thing to him. Fix Arya. Aaron didn't notice the change in her behavior, which was completely odd to him because he should've been the first one to notice BUT...Treyen needed her the most considering he had her 24/7 for this school year.

He made no comments. He waited for her to talk about Sabel.

Sabel had been afraid of losing her, and he kind of did. Treyen hated how it all worked out. Arya had been the one that was most excited for her summer and Treyen ended up with a much happier ending than her.

This is the part where he actually begun liking Perseus way more than Walnut. He was well-behaved...like Treyen's Thaddeus. Who was blissfully sleeping in the dormitory. Or so he hoped.

His gaze had moved to Perseus until Arya mentioned him sounding like Sabel. And he was about to comment on that but she started to tell him...oh. Well, yes, Arya would be worrying a lot, constantly. And there was no way of getting her to stop worrying, he knew that. The Prefect nodded before finally voicing out his thoughts. "First, losing you is reason enough." He understood that. "I'm not saying lying wasn't wrong of him, but I understand why he did it," Treyen couldn't lie, so he saw no reason in doing so, he would've kept it all from Ellie but he decided that'd be lying as well, "There's one thing you ought to consider, yet I don't know if HE considered it. Telling you this three years ago would've been completely different, you'd have worried even more back then," she was mature enough to worry about different things now.

The part about him sounding like Sabel was slightly terrifying, honestly, because he didn't know half of how Ellie had felt...but if it was as close as to how Arya was feeling, well, it was reason enough to question WHY he'd been given a second chance.

"I'm sounding like him because we both care a great deal about the girls we lov--like." Blink. "About the girls we like." Yeah, of course, no one noticed that.

His eyes drifted again to the fire as he considered what he just said. "You should tell him to meet you. Talk to him." he said, eyes on the fireplace. He wanted to tell her to forgive him, but Sabel had broken his best friend, not even Treyen was sure that forgiveness was in his cards right now, yet he'd already forgave him without knowing. "If he's a little bit like me, then he's completely devastated at the moment, because he lost someone too valuable to him."

"Hi! My name is Rosalie Hollis and I'm a first year. What about you?" Rosalie asked excitedly having someone to finally take to.

Aaron couldn't help feeling as if she thought he was weird, the smile/grimace on her face told him enough.
Too much, Aaron. He told himself, but he couldn't really help it that he had all that energy cropped up, could he? At least try to be normal, dude. Aaron nodded to himself, that he'd try.

He noticed she bowed too and felt a little less of an idiot. 'Too much energy, I suppose. Sorry about that..' He flashed her a smile. 'So where are you from?'

Daphne ran a through her hair. She really hoped that Aaron wouldn't take her seriously. She was just joking, after all.

"No." The girl shook her head. "Why are you sorry? I was just kidding.." This shows how pathetic she really was at making jokes. Sad.

Daphne returned his smile. "Well, I'm from Beauxbatons..how about you? Assuming you're new, of course."

Aaron grinned and scratched the back of his head foolishly. He'd never said he was the brightest in town, of course he wouldn't get it when someone was joking. At least this meant she wasn't all serious and what not.

Beauxbatons must be completely different, Aaron thought, unless it was all awesome and Hogwarts like. But from what he had heard so far it was different.
'Hogwarts and I go way back.' Aaron said and nodded, 'five years, to be exact. So was Beauxbatons different from here?'
He hoped his pronunciation wasn't too far off, but he'd never been one for languages..

Daphne noticed his grin but decided not to comment. She wasn't sure if he was laughing at her or himself..

"Oh. Oh, good. That's great." Daphne smiled. Was Beauxbatons different? "Well, yeah..I suppose. It's an all-girls school.." She flushed. That was one of the reasons why she always felt a little nervous while talking to boys. Daphne cleared her throat and continued, "Other than that..not any major differences."

'All girls? You don't think they'd let me go there, do you?' Aaron laughed and then decided he'd probably go insane after spending just two days there. 'On second thought, I'd rather not.'
He'd spent enough time with his sisters and cousins to know that, they drove him crazy. That was another great thing of being at Hogwarts, no annoying sisters and cousins.

'Well, welcome to Hogwarts then.'

"Why...are you frowning at me even more?" Chandler blinked at her and then frowned again, he couldn't help but frown. It was a habit and he did it automatically everytime he didn't understand something. ...Oh great. She had moved CLOSER to him and he didn't like that. Maybe if she was Kaia then yes but she wasn't. She was blonde, taller than both Kaia and Chandler (well she looked taller than him resulting that she was taller than both of them) and a lot different. "Zat's...zat's..nice." Annd then she called him CUTE. He was not cute! "Wh..what? I'm not cute!" Chandler protested. Maybe the awkwardness which was unfortunately showing right now suggested he was cute but he wasn't and he never would be.

Oh..so it WAS Zayden. "Zayden's your boyfriend zen I guess." Chandler couldn't remember a time where he was instantly friends with something. Well..like very close friends. He wasn't sure there WAS a time before this year. He smiled at her slightly when she beamed, what she didn't know couldn't hurt her.

...Crap. Hadley thought they were arguing, which Chandler really didn't get because they weren't shouting at each other or looking mad. Calm was the word what came to his mind. Yeah, they were quite calm. "Oh no, Professor. We're not arguing and I certainly wouldn't argue with ze Slytherins. Zey're nice." Just like every other house. "But..what Amelia zaid about ze kitchens..I want ze same. But I'm pretty sure you won't be able to do anything..." Which sucked.

Oh, she was gone. Great. Chandler would have really liked it if Hadley took him away from Amelia, she was a bit..weird. And needy. o__O

"We should like..do something. About ze kitchens. Some'ow."

"Well, I don't think so.." Daphne laughed. "Unless..you dress up like a girl. Now, wouldn't that be fun?" She eyed him and raised an eyebrow. Daphne couldn't help but laugh again. This guy was weird but funny. Really funny.

"Ah. Thank you, Mr. Roberts." Daphne stood up and took a bow again..although, this time the poor girl stumbled. Fortunately, she held on to the sofa and saved herself from an embarrssment. She sat down and could feel her cheeks grow warm again.

Aaron grimaced at the idea of dressing up as a girl. He was not a fan of doing that stuff. 'Yeah... I'm never dressing up as a girl again.' Aaron blurted out and only then realised what he had said. His eyes widened in shock. 'I mean, not that I have done that in the past.. of course.'

He watched Daphne bow again and almost fall over. He laughed and applauded her. 'You're welcome, Ms Green. Also, great almost-fall.'

Again!? Daphne could feel her eyes go really wide before she burst out laughing. "You've dressed up like a girl before? Seriously? Wow. That's just..." She continued laughing until she was totally out of breath. She took a deep breath and continued, "Hilarious!"

Daphne scowled. "You're welcome." Ugh. She was so clumsy. "I would be grateful if you would just stopped laughing." Great.

"Oh hello Minerva" Rose was so excited that somebody had approached her now it should be easier for her. "Yes, I would love to, thanks" she said.

Rose looked up and noticed that someone was talking to her. "Hi Justin...my name is Rose. It's so nice to meet you." She thought to herself that Justin seemed like a really nice guy. "Yes, I am a first year too." she said. She was hoping that he would keep up the conversation since she was always so shy at first.

But before Adanna could reply, the woman was gone.
I suppose she's right. Adanna smiled as the thought to herself. Such a kind and pretty woman the professor was! She was certainly looking forward to her class.

She walked back to her chair and fell backward into it. She looked around, wondering if she should say something to somebody. Communication had never really been her strong point.

Kita raised an eyebrow. Not really her thing. But... She was a WITCH! She was... You know... Magical. She was just about to offer something along lines of help when she stopped herself. Who knew what she might end up summoning if she tried to summon Mia's Puffskein.

She couldn't help letting out a giggle at the idea of many Puffskein's making their way towards the Hufflepuff common room. "Youre right. Hundreds of Puffskein's making their way to the Hufflepuff common room might just raise some suspicion. And jealousy," *coughSlytherinscough* "What's your Puffskein's name? We could try Accio with the name." It was te best she could come up with!

Wait... Imagine if the Puffskein was called something common. Like... Like Brian! Accio Brain might just summon an elderly man who turns out to like younger girls. There's no way she was going to let THAT happen! Time to wise up. "Have you checked your dorm? Or the Great Hall?" she suggested, sitting up a little straighter.

Huh? Was she alright? Wait... Had her tiredness shown on her face?! "Im fine. I'm just a tad tired," After all, it had been a long day! "Are you okay?" she asked, giving the girl a small smile.

Aaron scrunched up his face uncomfortably as Daphne laughed at him. Older brothers weren't cool. Not cool at all.
'My older brother... David- He- He forced me to, I suppose? Long story.' Even being forced to wear a dress was too horrible to remember. 'Gotta love having an older brother..' He gave a sarcastic laugh. 'I looked good though.'

He wasn't entirely sure whether it was a good thing to look good while dressing up as a girl, but hey, better dress up with at least SOME of your dignity left right? 'Good for a guy, dressed up as a girl, I mean.'

'I'm sorry,' he smiled to himself, 'no more laughing from me.'
He zipped his mouth shut and forced a solemn expression to his face.

"I'm Faven, a first year as well! Pleasure to meet you!" Faven said, happy to finally have another first year hufflepuff to talk to.

"So how are you liking Hogwarts so far? Have you been meeting many people?"

"I'm Rosalie! I havent meet another first year Hufflepuff, so cool. Are you excited about classes?" Rosalie asked Faven.

Sadie had known that going to see the dormitories right after she'd entered the common room had been a bad idea. Not only was the common room absolutely stuffed with Hufflepuffs, but she'd missed a speech from the Head of House (whom she would now have to recognize by voice). To make things worse, she couldn't find the only two Hufflepuffs she'd met at the feast, which made her begin to feel loneliness creeping into her heart.

A tad frustrated and extremely tired from the day's excitement, Sadie scoured the room for an empty chair, but no such luck. Sadie had nearly turned back to the dormitory entrance when out of the corner of her eye, she saw an older student rising. While it was a risky move, Sadie dashed to the chair, not worrying about the older student's impression of her, as she was determined to find her friends.

Or make some new ones, so it seemed. A tiny girl was seated in the chair next to her, also looking around the room as if searching for someone to talk to her. Sadie immediately noticed the girl's strawberry blonde, curly hair, as it reminded her of her best Muggle friend back home, and took this as a cue to talk to the girl.

"Excuse me, I was wondering if you knew the name of our Head of House? I just missed their speech 'cause I was in the dormitories." Sadie added a friendly smile and hoped that she didn't seem too bold or something like that. "I'm Sadie, by the way."

Faven smiled at the nice fellow first year. "Well now you know one!" Faven said with a laugh. "I actually really really am! I am a muggleborn so all of this magicness is new to me! How about you? Faven asked. "Oh by the way, my last name is Dragomir...just in case you were wondering," Faven added awkwardly.
