Daphne ran a through her hair. She really hoped that Aaron wouldn't take her seriously. She was just joking, after all.
"No." The girl shook her head.
"Why are you sorry? I was just kidding.." This shows how pathetic she really was at making jokes. Sad.
Daphne returned his smile.
