" Good, Can't wait for the cake" Willaim told Luna. " Then as I said, I will leave you girls so you can all party together tonight" Willaim said to Luna.

Once Caroline had finally went to sleep at some point that night she slept pretty good. She had been up for a while now, sitting on the bed in the dark with her knees tucked to her chest. When she had first woken up this morning she thought that she was back at Selena's father's home in Italy. It was one of those times when you first wake up and dont realize where you are or think your somewhere else.

Looking up for the first time as she heard someone, who had to have been Carter, since no one else could have made it in, besides him.Right? It was him after she heard his voice. "I'm over here" She said in a low voice. She grabbed her wand from the beside table. "Lumos!" She said in a soft whispter. Squinting her eyes as her eyes adjusted to the light, ah not enough light. "Lumos maxima" with an annoyed tone. Waiting for her eyes to adjust to the brighter light, she got up off the bed.

Yeah, she looked like a mess, but it went her her feeling like a mess right now. She made her way over to where Carter was standing. "I missed you so much." As she wrapped her arms around him, and huggedd him tight. She had so much to tell him. She nodded over toward the loveseat, and took his hand. She smiled slightly, as she led him over to sit down.

*Matty smiled when she fed him then laughed when she asked about his time on the boat.*
"Well I was on there to help first, but the boat got covered in ice and I fell. Ended up hitting my head pretty hard and had a concussion so I got to sit and watch. It was still loads of fun. No magic at all, working with muggles. I helped with the counting and numbers."
*After a few minutes Matty sat back very fully.*

Carter headed toward the sound of Caroline's voice. Soon Caroline was lighting her wand and Carter could see her properly. She looked like something was wrong. But he didn't care at the moment. All he wanted to do was give her a hug. Which he did. "I missed you too." he said holding her tight.

When he finally let her go he followed her over to the loveseat and took a seat. He then returned Caroline's smile.

After that he waited for Caroline to talk first. She looked like the trip didn't go so well, but he didn't want to press it if she wasn't ready to talk about it yet. He was just glad she was back. And sitting here with her was enough for him.

Marie fed Matty some more. This time she gave him some lobster. A bite for him then a bite for her. Feeling some butter run down her chin she wiped it off with her hand. Yeah, so much for being a lady here but the food was soooo good. Better than anything they would have been able to get in Hogsmeade that's for sure.

Hearing about his adventures on the crab boat she wanted to lean over and kiss his head... even though his head wasn't hurt now. She didn't though, she let him finish telling her about his adventure. "I don't know if I would even be able to do what you did. I wouldn't want to start smelling like a fish or anything." Yeah, she was such a girly girl, even if she did like to break noses. "Plus, working with muggles and not being able to use magic at all." Not that she could use magic outside of school right now anyway... but in two months she would be able to. She couldn't wait until she turned seventeen.

When he leaned back looking all full she smiled at him. Time for some dessert. Placing her hand on his face she turned it towards her then leaned over and pulled him into a kiss. After a moment she pulled back and looked into his eyes. "I've had a really great time today. Thank you for everything." Kissing the tip of his nose her smile widened. "I love you so much Matthias Gardner. You've made me the happiest girl in the world today." It was true. She felt happier than she ever felt before, which was saying a lot because she's had some pretty happy moments in her life.

Presley took a slice of cake and a big bite. "This is good, Luna!" she beamed. Cake was freakin' delicious! Presley glanced toward William, who had come back. She shot dagger glares at him. How dare he try to weasel in with her friends? Luna didn't know it, but he wouldn't be good for her to hang out with. Odds were he'd start flirting with her like crazy, and then when she told he no, as she was bound to do, he would attack her through Presley, or attack Presley through her. The situation would be just as ugly as the one with Rose was now. Presley had tried for the longest time to salvage that friendship, but it had been a wasted attempt. However, she was not going to bring that up. This was Luna's birthday, and it was going to be the best ever. She faked a smile to William. "No, we're not going out now. We're in the middle of a party. We wouldn't be that rude to people attending." The smile and the voice seemed perfectly genuine, thanks to Pres's acting training. But somewhere deep in her mind, she hoped William would pick up on the I'm not happy with you vibes.

Caroline sat down beside Carter, crossed one leg over the other on the loveseat. "Italy was nice. You'd love the food." She laughed a bit. For the most part she did enjoy her trip, until she found out where her real father was, that's when it went down hill from there. But she didn't know if she would ever be able to eat pasta again ..... well not for a while.

She didn't say anything for a long time. She just sat there rubbing his hand with her other hand. She wanted to talk about it. but she didn't want to start crying again, as she explained what happen to Carter. So for now she would just share the happier points of her trip. "I have a little half brother, Asher." After anything he promised that he would keep it touch with her.

Carter smiled. "I do love pasta." he said. Then again, he did love just about any food. He was a food fanatic.

"That's exciting. How old is he? Do you like him?" he asked. He hoped it was exciting at least. Hopefully he didn't upset her. She was obviously upset about something.

"It's not that bad, working with muggles I mean. It was a lot of fun too, just really cold."
*When she walked over to him he smiled. That was his goal, to make her happy. In Matty's mind she more then deserved it. Matty was lucky enough to see the amazing, beautiful, and smart Marie and wished everyone could see that side of her. He kissed her back and rubbed her cheek with his thumb softly.*
"I love you too Marie Salazar... I promise to make you happy every day, as much as I can."

Caroline rolled her eyes. "What food don't you love?" She asked come to think of it she had never known him to not like a food. That boy could pack in some food. She shook her head "I don't think I'll be eating pasta for a while." There wasn't a day that she
went by that she didn't eat some type of pasta.

Finally she smiled more than she had since Marshall had slammded the door it her face. And yes she was going to call him Marshall. "Asher's 10. Yeah, he is definitely the little boy that I never had. He said that he would keep in touch with me." She was holding that to him to. She didn't want to have to go back and beat up her little brother to keep in touch with her.

She stopped talking for a while again. Messing with her pants leg, with the ripps and tears to them. She continued picking at it but finally spoke."Marshall .... I mean dad." She shook her head, even if they had left on better terms a month was way to soon to be calling him daddy. It was likely that she would ever called him that. "He was great. I liked him alot." That is until Caroline bought up the subject of mum.

"Untill I bought up mum." It was like something clicked, and he went off. She really wanted and needed to know why he flipped out. "He flipped out and told me to leave and not to come back." She could feel the tears coming. No she wasn't cry, not anymore not over that. "I went back the next day. And he ... he ..... slammed the door in my face." Ah, she started to cry, quick covering her face and wiping her eyes, she knew that it was too late only a blind person wouldn't have noticed the tears.

" I get it, Luna invited me and you did not like it" Willaim told Presley. " Luna and I are friends" Wiliam said to Presley."Since when is it your business to tell Luna who she can and cannot invite to her party?" Willaim asked Presley. "Why all of a sudden do you hate me?" Willaim asked Presley. " What have I ever done to you?" William asked Presley." I came back for the cake and I know that all of you girls wanted to get together by yourselves, so I was being very polite to all of you saying after I ate the cake, just enjoy yourselves" Willaim explained to Presley." I thought we were still friends because we worked so welltogether in Divination" Willaim smiled."Do you think I would have taken all my time to help you in sports if I did not like or want yo uas a freind?" Willaim asked Presley.
" Is this your party or Luna's?" Willaim asked Presley. " I am so dissapointed in you and your surprising attitued towards me" he told her.

To Luna
" Thanks for inviting me to your party" Willaim told her. Glad you liked the flowers: Willaim said to her. " By the way since Presley does not want me here, which is rude, even though you invited me to your birthday party
, I will go, well I am forced to go" Willaim expalined to Luna.

It was really cold? Now Marie knew she wouldn't want to do that work. "Well they can keep the cold and the smelly job. I'll just stick to eating the crab, here in the warmth, where it doesn't smell like stinky fish."

Kissing him again she closed her eyes and when she opened them again there was soft music playing. "You know I'm gonna hold you to that promise right?" Standing up she grabbed his hand. "Let's go dance under the stars." He may have created the room but she was picking the music.

*Laughing Matty let her pull him up and out on to the balcony. Putting an arm around her and hold her hand with his other hand he smiled down at her and started to slowly dance with her to the music.*
"I fully expect you to hold me to it. You wouldn't be you if you didn't."
*Matty said with a smirk and he spun her around slowly. He didn't know what to say, but he didn't really want to say anything at all for a few minutes. When a few songs had passed he leaned down and whispered.*
"What's on your mind... right now?"

Pres had turned away, but now her attention flipped back to William and a look of incredulity came over her. "I didn't say anything to Luna about who she could and could not invite! I don't know what you're talking about!" What? William was not a mind reader as far as Presley knew, and even if he was, he had no call to speak to her that way when she'd tried her best to be outwardly polite to him. "I don't hate you," she sighed in exasperation. "I don't hate anybody, I don't know how." She was so frustrated, but not willing to let this ruin her time with Luna. So she turned back to Luna and ignored the crap out of William. She heard him saying something about her not wanting him there and smiled sweetly. "I never said that, but of course you're free to go if you wish."

" "Well, you act like you so not want me here" Willaim told Presley." You act like you hate me" Willaim said to Presley. "Why do you insist on being rude to me?" Willaim asked Presley. "What happened to us?" Wiliam asked Presley. " We had been close friends, but you just are not acting like a friend at all and I still like you wand want to be friends with you" Willaim expalined to Presley. " I am not going away til we fix this problem" Willaim smiled.

Presley stepped closer to William very slightly, and spoke in a strained whisper. "Yes, we have to talk, I agree. But not at Luna's party."

" I agree with you" Willaim whispered back to Presley. " Thank yo uso much' Willaim whispered again to Presley." I am enjying the party" William told Presley.

Presley rolled her eyes, and turned away, looking for someone to have a civilized conversation with. The kind she'd been taught by tutors as a child.

" I see how you are treating me" Wiliam told Presley. "Why are you treating me so bad?" Wiliam asked Presley. " I have always been nice to you" Willaim said to Presley." Rolling your eyes at me, you are acting like a two year old, but again that is yoru choice" Willaim explained to Presley.
"See, O may only be eleven years old, but I know how to act like an adult despite what you think" Willaim smiled.

Luna

' Thanks again for inviting me to your birthday party." Willaim told Luna. " I have lots of homework to do, so I will gracefully take my exit drom the party" Willaim explained to Lun. " Good-bye everyone and thanks for making this a fun party for me" Willaim explained to everyone there.

''I'm glad you like it Pres'' Luna smiled at her then she took a bite of the cake it was very nice for her taste she didn't really like cake so it would have been perfect for her to eat it

''Welcome'' said Luna ''Yes they were very nice'' Luna frowned when William said about Presley and she sincerly doubted that Presley told William to go but she was going to stay out of this because it was there buisness really not hers and she really wished William didn't make that remark against Presley cause it was just going to make everything worse ''Thank's for coming''

"See you around HigWarts" William told Luna. "Do not foget, you dsif you would come down to the lake" William said to Luna. " I have a lot of homework" Willaim explained to Luna why he is leaving the party.

''Right'' Luna would have smiled but she couldn't she was upset right now and all she wanted right then was talk to Presley and Rachel her two best friends or be on her own in the liabrary like she normally did when she was sad but she couldn't untill the cake was done but it was okay cause everyone seemed to be okay ''Well err see you there'' said Luna

Presley grinned at her best friend, grateful for the words that broke her conversation with the jerk. "So, how has your birthday been? Parents send you a gift?" Presley was sincerely interested in Luna's day. Pres had not been having a great one, so it would be really nice if Luna had.

''Great I suppose'' said Luna trying to smile ''Not yet they'ed probably sent it already see they moved to my grandmother and grandfather's house in Ireland they're both really ill so mum and dad are cleaning the house and visiting them in the hospatial. They'll be back before summer. For my brothers wedding and for Rachel and you to come over'' said Luna thinking that she probably wouldn't be any wedding of course but they're was no point on saying that now

Presley pulled her eyebrows together in confusion. "Is something wrong, Luna? You seem a little off." Presley thought about what could have tipped the happy Luna to this sort of forced happiness. "It wasn't me and William was it? 'Cause if it was, I swear I wasn't trying to fight. I'm really sorry!" Something in a teeny corner of her mind whispered that this was not about Presley's petty little argument. This was something that Luna needed to talk about, and soon. "Do you want to step out in the hall with me for a sec and talk, or stay and wait till later?"
