"Yeah," Dallin answered with a light laugh "I'm actually a fifth year." Sixth if you wanted to be technical, but that second fourth year didn't count. He smiled when she blushed. "Ya know what?" he said, "I think you're the first first year I've met this year." Yep yep.

"So, what house are ya in, Nessie?"

Needless to say, the last person he'd ever thought of meeting here was Dallin. Actually, the last person he'd ever think would come was Evelyn. But, that wasn't really important.

And he was asking the one question about Nessie which answer he knew, "She belongs in the best house ever, of course," he said, with a smile.

"How are you, Dallin?" he asked, his tone was the friendlier ever, nothing compared to the one at the Ravenclaw table at the start of the school year.

"Happy birthday, Nessie!" he said, giving the girl a quick hug. He'll probably be owing her a gift for a while, but that's what the hug was about, no? It was a gift.

Ness was right he was a transfer. She knew he couldn't be a second year he looked too big. "Oh well I guess I'm a Lucky first year!" giggled Ness. "Im in.." but before Ness could finish she heard somone answer for her. She turned around to see Treyen the Hufflepuff prefect. "Just like Trey said I'm in the best house ever meaning Hufflepuff!" said Ness laughing.


Ness got up from her seat to say hello to Trey properly."Thanks Trey!" said Ness smiling. She was very happy that he had managed to make it. "Im glad you came!" she said happily. She sat down again and nearly forgot her manners. "You can sit if you like and theres food so just help yourself!" said Ness smiling again.

The blonde smiled at Dallin. OOH he smiled. "Ah awesome. Small world! Hmmm.. I see that smile Mister.. Are you the guy she was flirting with? Mhmm.." she teased. Psh.. Ellie and Dallin? Naaah.. O.o Or maybe... Hmmm.. The blonde thought about that for a minute. She nodded as Dallin explained the situation. "Yeah and he thought I was crazy." she scoffed, rolling her eyes a little- teasing her.

"Welcome! I felt bad not bringing anything," she explained. She laughed as Nessie exclaimed that she loved them. Aww, she was soo cute and sweet. Adorable little firstie. "Aww thank you. I love your name Renesme. It's really beautiful."

Hearing a voice answer his question that definitely wasn't Nessie's, Dallin looked over to see Treyen. "So I'm guessing she's in your house?" he asked with a slight smirk. Of course he didn't agree that Huffies were the best house, but oh well. The Hufflepuff seemed quite a bit friendlier today than the last time they talked.

"I'm doing well," He replied. "You?"

Then Nessie spoke up again, so Dal looked back at her. Psh, best house ever. No comment, just another smile. No need to argue with the girl on her birthday, right?

His smile quickly wiped off his face when Emma started takling about Ellie again. How did she know about that? Man, girls must tell each other everything. "I - uh - yeah, we flirted a bit." he answered, looking away and rubbing the back of his neck. He wanted to just tell her to ask Ellie about it, since she seemed to know most of it anyway.

"So, you're one of Nessie's friends?" Most likely. Duh, Ellie. "What year are you in?" She could totally do this 'getting to know you' thing. Especially seeing as she knew, like, zero students in here.

Though, she did notice that Dallin came in. Heh. He looked a bit shocked at the sight...wasn't trying to come to the party, was he? Hehe.

Again, it was weird being somewhere where you hardly knew people. Getting to know these new people was a must.

Ellie just smiled at the 'thank you'. Which was totally unnecessary, by the way. Of course Ellie was going to wish the Birthday Girl a Happy Birthday at her Birthday party. That was how things went.

And then Treyen walked in. Yeah. And Ellie was almost going to go talk to him. Because she knew him. Well. Which was more than she could say about anyone else. EXCEPT he went and approached Dal... THAT was interesting, and Ellie was NOT about to interrupt. No. She was going to go busy herself with the food. Eat and observe.

Ness seemed feel a bit of a tension betwwen the two boys, but it seemed to be going away. "What House are you in?" asked Ness to Dallin seeing as he hadn't told her yet and she deffinatley hadn't seen him around the school yet.
"Oh Don't worry about it!!' said Ness as she smiled at Emma. Ness was really starting to like the girl she seemed very nice and could probably end up to maybe be a good friend. "Thank you! I like yours too!" said Ness happily.

As soon as Ellie saw Dallin she seemed to be very quiet and Ness could see that there was deffinatley something that had happened between them. Ness was dying to know what but she knew better not to ask. So instaed she just left it and carried on eating.

Nika jumped at Zara's loud cry. Owiee Zara! No need to shout. "I think you owe me a new ear Zara." She said with a chuckle. Now back to why she was yelling in the first place. FOOD!!!

YUMMMMMMM!!!

FOOOOOOOOD! Nika jumped up and ran to the table as she looked over the menu of things to eat. YUMMY! SO many good foods! She grabbed a small bit of everything and made her way to the middle of the floor where she plopped down and began to chew happily.

WEll, I would love to meet Ember" William told Rose. " Very cool, just like your twin" William said to Rose." No, do not want you dead' William laughed. He knew Rose was joking.

" I brought some Katy Perry already" William told Nessie. " I will go back and get Rhianna and The Black-Eyed Peas" Wiliam said to Nessie. " William is back already. " Now where is all this good food and drink?" William asked Nessie.

'Right, well, I'll have to get Cleo to tell her to meet me at the Gryffindor Table then...' Rose said, thinking how she was gonna do this.

There it is! Dallin was smart, no doubt, because he'd gotten the House right. "Indeed," he said, with one smirk of his own. But really, did you expect less from a Hufflepuff Prefect? Exactly. Dallin was probably trying to stay away from any discussion, because no one would accept that some other House was the best. Not that easily anyway.

Treyen nodded, "I'm good as well," could this get a bit more awkward?

His eyes were back on Nessie, though, "You're more than welcome," he smiled, widely, mostly at her excitement. Treyen couldn't remember the last time he'd been so excited over his own birthday, though.

At the mention of 'coming' he had to find out who else had come besides Dallin, no? And the girl he was talking to, and other friends of Nessie.

That's when he saw her, "Actually, Nessie...," he said, eying the Ravenclaw girl, "...excuse me for a moment," that was also meant for Dallin.

It was completely obvious that he had to approach Ellie, right? Well, not that he HAD to, more that he WANTED to.

So, only an instant after he'd excused himself from Nessie, Treyen was on Ellie's side, sporting a small smile too, "Hi," he said, resisting the urge to kiss her, because, well, there was a lot of people around them, and it'd be rather awkward, actually.

He still owed her a story, no?

Zara smiled. "Nice to meet you Dallin. Food's served." Yeah, she had to repeat that, I guess they didn't hear the announcement. No matter how loud she had said it.

And it was as if only the birthday girl had heard her. And Emma. Zara sighed, "Thanks, Nessie. I think you should give them all a message. As the birthday girl. Hopefully, they'll hear you."

And the Hufflepuff Prefect came. Uh oh. How to deal with this? Welcome him? No? Whaaat?

Since Zara saw that he had found his way to the birthday girl during Zara's announcement, she decided not to interfere with them any longer. Catching his eye, she gave him a smile.

Oh heyy. Another person had noticed her and was eating now. Yeeey. "I'm in First Year." She smiled warmly. "How's the food?"

At least Nika heard. William and Rose didn't seem to even notice her. What? Address them personally so they'd hear? Ahh, what was wrong with these people?

Zara smiled gratefully at Nika, thankful that at least some people heard her "loud" announcement.

Zara cleared her throat. "Food and drinks are over there. Didn't you hear my announcement?" She was frowning. Why weren't people being nice today, ignoring Zara even if she had shouted to the top of her lungs?

People just didn't hear her, did they? For the third time, she addressed Rose. "FOOD AND DRINKS ARE SERVED. Please. Did you hear what I said before?" She had said everything there was to say before and they didn't hear her? Zara sighed. Planning a party was hard, especially when people wouldn't listen.

Arabella-Marie had got an invite to a party in the room of requirement and sighed as she walked past the door three times and saw that the room had appeared to her she slipped inside not sure what to expect or even if there was anybody she knew at the party

Ariadne smiled when Nessie said a quill set was exactly what she needed. 'I'm glad you like it! Happy Birthday again, this looks like a great party!' Ari said, and went to get some food. What to choose? Everything looked delicious! Nessie's birthday party make her feel a bit envious, as a birthday at Hogwarts is fantastic, but Ari herself could never have one since her birthday was in August, when everyone was on holiday. Oh well. Better enjoy this one then!

It's official, Heather liked Nessie. She was sweet. She was cute. Just like her gryffie sis lion cub, Zara. She gave a warm smile at the girl. "I'm on my 3rd year." she answered. Hopefully, this won't shock Nessie much....people do often tend to mistake her as a firstie. "uhm...so...Nessie...I did promise Zara...I'd be your b-birthday photographer." she said, showing the two cameras dangling all over her.

'I know!' Rose frowned 'We're just talking whilst going there!' She told Zara Jeesh! No need to be rude! Rose thought

"So how's your Puff?" Ellie asked. The Pygmy Puff, of course. Hopefully it hadn't run away, right?

She swore hers was still somewhere in the castle, though. It was the most likely case, after all.

Mhm. "How are you liking Hogwarts?" It was always interesting hearing Firsties responses. Some loved it, some just thought it was okay.

Some were now second years named Conan.

"The food's great." But Ellie liked most foods, so she wasn't a very reliable judge.

Waiiiiittt. Why was Treyen coming heere?

Not that it wasn't a desired action, for him to come over. She was just enjoying watching him. And Dallin. In a totally non-creepy way.

But, as his approach was welcome, Ellie was all smiles. "Hiii."

"You were talking to Dallin," she said, raising her eyebrow. In case he didn't know.

" Cool, I do not want you mad at me" William told Rose.William hugged Rose back. " I know you will never make me upset" William said to Rose.

Zara smiled. "It's okay William. No need to be sad. I guess all this planning has made me stressed." Yeah, it was probably that. It was just hard to get all their attention.

Oh heyy, more people. "Welcome. Glad you could make it Arabella, Ari." She looked at the both of them and smiled. "Food's served, over there."

By the sound of her name, Zara automatically responded as she looked over to who said it. Ohh, her big sis. She smiled at her, then looked away again, toward the food.

"It's great!" she said quickly and smiled. And Zara jumped by the sound of a shout, directed at her. "I'm sorry, be back in a minute," she told Ellie then turned to Rose. Zara sure was in a hurry. And the girl shouted at her so she turned and looked at her.

Mehh, "I do know you're talking, I respect that. But I just hope you'll listen." Zara frowned. All this was giving her a headache. "Well, I'm sorry okay?" she began to say, a small squeal coming out once in a while as she was holding back tears. She wasn't used to being shouted at. "I just wanted this party to be nice. That's why I planned it. And after all this, I just hoped that you people would be nice enough to cooperate. Just cooperate and listen is all I ask." And before the tears could escape her eyes, she stormed off. Out of the room.

Before leaving, she added to everyone, "ENJOY THE PARTY!" she shouted at them with a hint of bitterness, then left. Okay, their party planner was gone. Hopefully, no one would follow her out. No, not now. She wasn't in the mood to speak to anyone from there. She felt guilty too. Nessie. Aww, it was her day. This isn't the time for such things. Why did that girl have to be so rude to her and cause this all? Gaaah. Or probably they wouldn't hear her. No one ever did. They're all too busy to listen to an announcement done by a little first year nobody.

" I will help you" WWilliam told Zara. "Do not do this party on your own" Wiliam said to Zara." You are doing a great job by yourself but help is always good" Wiliam explained to Zara.
"Everyone , please wit, Zars is just feeling hurt right now" he told them. William ran after Zara. " Come on, everyone wants you back" he said to Zara." The party will not be the same without you" he told Zara." No one can enjoy the party without you" he explained to Zara. " Please come back" William smiled.

There. That smile. That was all he truly needed. Which is why his small smile turned into a big one.

It was rather likely that if he hadn't noticed Nessie at first, then he would've never congratulate her, never mind the fact that the birthday girl was still close to them. But he thought it would've been rather difficult to ignore the Ravenclaw girl standing before him.

Why was she mentioning Dallin, though? Yes, he knew he'd greeted the boy, no need to point it out to him. "So? You're far more important than him," he said, before adding something else, "At least to me." And he may have seemed a bit more interested about finding out about the Ravenclaw boy at the feast, but that was only because Ellie interested him the most. If that makes any sense.

"How is my favorite Ravenclaw doing, by the way?" he asked. Not once did he take his eyes away from her, not even when she'd mentioned Dallin.

'I'm sorry, Okay! I don't like being shouted at! And, I wasn't shouting... But we need a party planner!' Rose begged
