"That's cool, Kita" He said as he looked around the room look at all the decorations. "Nice job here...." He said awkwardly. He didn't know anyone here so he just tried to make do with being a loner.

"Thanks," Kita said, smiling and looking around the room, "I wish i could say that i did this... but i didn't." She turned back to Alex, still smiling. "Well, i hope you enjoy the party," she said, "And if you need anything, just let me know." After all, she was the one who knew where everything was. Kind of.

OOC: Now this applies to EVERYONE!

Something was wrong... it had to be right? It wasn't meant to take this long for them to get here... After all, she had come from the Hufflepuff common room and she got here relatively quickly. And there must be a couple of snakes in the room... they all got here quickly! But then again, Carter was bringing Caroline, he might have stopped to have a bit of alone time with his girlfriend.

Frowning, Kita made her way towards the door and poked her head outside. And... there they were! Giving Carter a thumbs up, she retreated back into the room and decided to yell again. "This is a red alert! No joke! Birthday girl is on her way! I repeat: birthday girl is on her way! Places!" Boy was she going to lose her voice after this! Grabbing a party popper, Kita ran towards the middle of the room. She pointed her wand up into the air and flicked it. The lights dimmed slightly. Turning back to face the door, she got into position and asked to no one in particular, "Ready?"

Carter laughed. "Well... you know me..." he said. He got bored fairly easily. The best way to beat that was to do something unpredictable.

Turning the final corner he spotted Kita peeking out of the Room of Requirement. Returning her thumbs up with a nod of his own he continued up the hall.

"I'll just have you wait here for me." he said as they approached the open door. He did a little side step so that Caroline would be facing the open door. He then gave a wild waving hang gesture to everyone in the room to get everyone's attention. "I'll be right back." he said. He stomped his feet to indicate that he had headed up the hall. But instead of going up the hall he merely stepped behind her.

He held up three fingers... then two... then one...

At the moment the countdown was over he removed the tie from around Caroline's face.

Caroline stopped where Carter had stopped her. She nodded "Okay, I'll be right here, then." Rocking a bit back and forth on heels. As she waited it wasn't too long after he had left the tie around head was coming undone.

Caroline stood there with her mouth opened, in shock and suprise. All of this was for her? They were all here for her? Her hands jumpped to her mouth, as she covered it. With widen eyes "Holy Merlin!" She could have easlily started crying, happy tears of joy of course.

She turned and grinned at Carter, then wrapped her arms around him. She squeezed him, then turning she ran into the room and right to Kita, They had been in on it, right? She hugged her best friend. Her blue as darted around to the others in the room, letting go of Kita. Her attention went to others there was Emna, Braeden and Theo. She smiled at them. Destiny, Katie, her cousin Alex, she smiled to them as well. Looking around the room some more she seen Jai, and Selina she smiled to them before speaking. "Merlins pants, Thanks you all." She beamed at all of them. This was a bit overhelming.

Kita bit her lip and looked round at the others. This was going to be good right? A total surprise? She shook her head. No, she was being stupid! Of course it was going to be great! She looked up at the door of the room.

And... there they were! Carter and Caroline, both looking great. A huge grin spread across the brunette's face. Yes... this was going to be goood! Her eyes moved to the fingers Carter was holding up, counting them all in.

Three... Two... One...

She took a deep breath before tugging on the little rope on her party popper and screaming, "HAAPPPPYYY BBIIIIRRRTTTTHHHDDDAAAAYYYY CCAAAARRROOOLLLIIIINNNNEEEEE!!!!"

She closed her eyes as a huge BANG erupted from the end of the tiny party popper.

Yeah... she was definitely going to lose her voice after this! Pfft! Like she cared!

Kita opened her eyes and continued grinning as Caroline went and hugged her boyfriend before turning and running towards the brunette. "Happy birthday bestie," she whispered, squeezing the blonde girl, "I knew you'd come in a better outfit than me." Hehe. Well of course, it was Caroline's birthday party after all.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!"Jai shouted along with the others. He couldn't helping chuckling at her priceless expression of shock.

He went over from the table he had went to put her gift down.

He went over to her to say happy birthday. While she hugged her best friend, he turned to Carter and said,"Well planned man. Her face was priceless."

Jai reached over to Caroline, hugging her around her shoulders and said,"Happy birthday and you look great."

Kurumi had all but dragged herself out of the common room. Celebrating hadn't really been on the list of things for her to do recently - especially with her hair just not wanting to return back to its usual black color. It had been stuck at a deep navy color for over a week now, and there was no sign of it changing back anytime soon.

Still, when she had heard from Carter about a birthday party for Caroline, Kurumi knew that she couldn't just stay moping in the girl's dormitory. She needed to get out and try for some normalcy. So, after spending the morning in the kitchens, Kurumi made her way to the Room of Requirement with a small package under her right arm containing some very special birthday cookies.

When she peeked into the room, she saw that everything had already started. "S-S-Sorry I'm late," she squeaked as she shuffled her feet around. "H-Happy Birthday Caroline."

Selina ducked down when the time presented itself for Caroline to arrive. She heard the distant voice of Carter and knew that she would be there any minute. When she entered the lights snapped on and Selina jumped up with the rest of the group to yell, "SUPRISE!!!!" Her landing from her jump was a little awkward because she was in such tall high heels, so that the little second year could be at least sort of level with her older friends, but what did you expect she was a Quidditch player. Grace was not there biggest worry. They played in the mud and were grounded individuals. So jumping in heels... kind of weird.

She ran up to Caroline and hugged her, "Happy birthday Caroline!"

"I... er..." Theodore glanced at the shiny ribbon he had magicked onto the top of the small-ish box. He had gotten her something girly, something that Theo had had to ask around for because only Merlin knew what on earth Caroline wanted for her birthday. "It's a surprise." He mumbled, a bit embarrassed. If Braeden has only seen him walking into that feminine store, girls giggling at him as he had perused for the right gift, he would have keeled over from laughing. That's right: Theodore had gone to the nearest women's shoe store and bought a pair of glass slippers. Some of her acquaintances had recommended something of the sort, so why not?! The poor kid had been lost for ideas. "What about you?" He piped up, his gaze raking over the poor wrappings of Brae's present once more.

Across the room, the yells of one girl forced Theodore to switch his attention over. Presents at the rectangular desk: coming right up. Party poppers: maybe? Knowing Brae's childlike spirit, he would probably be pulling the 'claw over to the table with party poppers in a minute or so and would use them all up before Caroline even arrived. So supposed Theo.

But before mere minutes had passed, there was the birthday girl! Calling out happy birthday greetings with the rest of the crowd, he nearly tripped over his shoelaces as he made his way over to her. She looked very pretty; it would have been surprising had she appeared wearing something less than fabulous.

Caroline laughed, "Did you do this?" she asked as she beamed up at her taller best friend. Giving her another hug, wow she really didn have the bestest friend in the whole world. "Thanks Kita, I'm so lucky to have you as my best friend." She looked around, "This place looks great. Thank you! Please you dress ten times better than me." She really could stop, saying thank you and hugging her.

Caroline's blue eyes as he when over a sit his gift down on the gift table. Her curiousity got the best of her and she wondered over to to where he was. Turning back to Carter she grinned and laughed when Jai had spoke to him.

She felt someone hug her it was Jai. She hugged him back. Letting go she smiled, "Thanks. and Thanks. You dont look bad yourself." With a nodded she pushed her hair behind her ears.Blue eyes darting back to the gift table, she rushed over to it and picked up the box, "What did you get me?" she started opening it before she finished her question.

"Oh Wow, its beautiful." She smiled at him, "Thanks".

Caroline seen some one walking in out of the corner of her eye. She walked over to her and give her a hug. "That's okay, You're here." She said with a smile. "Thanks for coming. How are you?"

She had noticed that Kurumi hadn't been acting like herself lately her hair hasn't the nornal shade of black. Remembering how she was last term after Adam. Big sister like mode kicked in she want to know who the boy was this time. but instead. She said "You look pretty."

"Hey Selina!" As her younger redheaded friend walked over to her. Hugging her, she smiled. "Thanks, and thanks for coming." It had been still the quidditch match well after it in the hospital wing that she had seen her. "You look pretty. tonight!" It was always fun to see what the tom boys (like her) dress up.

"Theo!" Dear Merlin, he nearly tipped over his shoelaces."Alright there?" She asked it make sure he was okay. Shaking her head a bit, Theo must be hanging around Braeden too much. Those two to her was to much alike. She wasnt sure if he enjoyed hugs of not, some people didn't.

She smiled as she walked closer over to him. "Thanks for coming." She was suprised to see him. "How are you?" She asked in her sweet calming voice.

"Thanks." he replied.
He shrugged and said,"It's an antique Italian bracelet, I found when I was with my parents on their expedition. They sent it to me a few days ago when they finished having it restored. So I thought you should have it. It would go with your collana." He winked at her as he knew only she would know what it meant.

"You better save me a dance for later but I must warn you I'm a horrible dancer." he said, chuckling.

"Nice to meet you Kita," said Emma with a kind smile. And proceeded to place the cake down in a secure location. Didn't want anyone to eat the cake now.. did she?

After placing the cake down, the birthday girl entered. And there were shouts of Happy Birthday. The blonde made her way over towards her boyfriend, with the gift in her hand, and luckily, Caroline was there, talking to Theo and Brae. "Happy Birthday Caroline!" she exclaimed, with a happy smile and she gave her fellow Slytherin a hug. Caroline was a good friend of hers. Not too mention a fellow Slytherin too. In her other hand was her handy camera. The Malfoy was ready to take a lot of pictures. Not only for memories, but because Selena had told her that she had better send pictures of Caroline's birthday party or she was going to be upset. And Emma didn't want an upset friend either.. did she?

"Nice to meet you too Emma," Kita said, smiling at the young girl. She was glad that the cake had got here safely. After all, it was CHOCOLATE! That ingredient alone made it more precious... to Kita anyways. Watching the cake go, the brunette turned back to the birthday girl.

Kita smiled shyly down at Caroline when the blonde asked her whether she had done all this. Now... what to say...? Had she decorated the room? Nope! Had she got the cake? Nope! Had she planned everything and sorted out timing and stuff? ... Hell yeah! "Well, er, not all of it..." she started. Good enough, right? "Are you mad?! You're calling yourself lucky to have a psycho brunette as your best friend?" she asked, looking at Caroline in disbelief, "No, i'm lucky to have you. That's why i planned all this." A huge feat considering the fact that the girl was no good at planning things. "Yes, it does," she said, sighing dreamily before looking back at the blonde, "No i don't! I dress... well, i just throw anything on."

Oh right! It was a birthday party! Caroline needed to open her presents! "Caroline, you see that rectangular table over there?" she asked, nodding over at the table, "Those are your presents." Yep, there they all were... presents! "The big pink one is from me," she whispered, smirking slightly. She just hoped that the girl would like the present she had got her, despite the fact that she had practically rushed around looking for it.

Yes, he still thought there was something wrong with Kurumi, because she knew that already. "All the time." That was all he said, and it reminded him of the 'Always and forever' he'd mentioned to Sierra a while back. He'd also meant that, by the way. But that was besides the point. Sierra wasn't even in here.

Treyen still didn't know what to feel about this, and why she was talking about feelings all of the sudden. It wasn't really too much like Kurumi to be talking this way, nor to take the lead, but he still followed.

He almost refused to get inside this room, this is were he'd found out Ellie also liked him. The smile was soon gone, and his hand dropped Kurumi's.

Ellie.

The boy was being awkward again. "You...needed to talk to me, right?" in case she'd forgotten why they were here.

Sierra took a sharp turn around to face Treyen. He'd dropped her hand. Why? There was no one else around. She'd made sure of that when she envisioned what she needed the room to be. "You dropped my hand," she mumbled quietly, her sentence coming out more as a question and less as an observation. She stepped forward again and took both his hands in hers. She looked down at them sadly, realizing this was, in the end, just a fake moment for her.

She dropped his hands and walked a few steps away. "Take a seat?" she asked, sitting down on a little swing that had appeared. She'd needed something wistful, and it'd appeared. She took a seat first, and then she looked up at him, a sad expression on her face. Only, the expression mirrored how she felt, not how Kurumi might feel. Straighten up, Greingoth. Don't let him see your weaknesses, your sadness. You are the predator, and he is the prey. Not the other way around... As she listened to her own words echoing inside her head, she became stronger again.

She reached forward and grabbed a hold of Treyen's hand, leading him to the swing beside her. "I just wanted to talk," she answered him. "I don't really have anything specific to say, but...sometimes you just need a..." Pause. "...friend." All of this was leading up to her big moment, the moment she'd been planning since she partnered with Kurumi. She turned to him and gave him the sweetest smile she could.

"Yeah...I...," what was he so nervous about? He'd held her hand before, back when her hair was changing co--Hey, wait a minute. Her hair wasn't changing colors now. Why was her hair not changing colors?! The last color he remembered was that awful blue one, it was probably awful because he'd caused it, but Kurumi always had some tint to her hair, ALWAYS. At least when she was with him.

He said nothing else and he missed her question as well as he thought about the hair changing colors stuff.

Treyen didn't miss the current hold on his hand, and certainly didn't miss the direction she was leading him to. He'd expected it, though, to be seated next to her, because they were supposed to talk, no? About what, he had no idea, and he hoped that it wouldn't have anything to do with their conversation at the Trophy Room, because he just couldn't do that again. Literally couldn't. And he'll hurt her even more if she brought it up.

His eyebrows got together in a veeeery liiiiittle frown. A friend, right. Lexi was a friend, no? Why not talk to Lexi if she just needed to talk? He was sure Selina was a friend as well, no? It didn't matter, for he took a seat and didn't drop her hand this time.

"That's...okay, really," that was all he could say, before he decided on asking something he wanted to know, "Did you do something to your hair? Or...have you finally managed to control your ability?" he said, with a smile on his face.

Riley had gotten the memo from Evelyn Flores, via her mouthing the words to him from across the Great Hall in the middle of dinner. After serval failed attempts and Riley refusing to look at her for a whole 4 minutes until she learned how to properly mouth a secret, he got that they were going to meet in the Room of Requirement tonight just before curfew...they weren't totally back on the points losing streak again.

After leaving Gryffindor tower, the seventh year made the short trip to the blank spance of wall where the hidden room was and did the necesarry actions to enter thinking of a place that he and his partner in crime could meet and possibly plan, or whatever it was the Slytherin had in mind.

Upon entering the room that no one other than Evelyn and Riley could enter since he made it that way, Riley found it to be small and empty and....dark. He walked into the small circle of light created by a single, unshaded light bulb hung from the ceiling over a plain card table and two chairs. He shrugged, it would do for meeting. He sat down and waited.

It took several, long, agonizing tries, but it seemed Riley finally understood what she was trying to say in the great hall at dinner time. Or at least, she sincerely hoped that he understood. Trying to mouth words to someone across the great hall without her boyfriend seeing was extremely difficult, and she didn't want all that hard work to have gone to waste.

She may have taken a little longer to get to the room of requirement as well, considering she took a short trip to the kitchens first to grab a quick cup of tea, before making her way up to the seventh floor, sipping the warm liquid every now and then.

Spotting the blank wall, she smiled slightly before pausing just before. Well now... she got the message to Riley that she wanted to meet him here, but apparently, she forgot to say what the heck the room was supposed to be. Was he already here? Was he in there? Sipping her tea again, she stood there for a moment before slowly making her way back and forth three times, trying not to look all the suspicious.

With the door appearing, the slytherin girl opened it up, and walked in, eyes trying to adjust to the darkness. Raising a brow, she glanced around, not really having much to look at, before her gaze settled on Riley. Huh. Sitting across from him, crossing one leg over the other, she stared at the Gryffindor, taking another slow sip of tea, and finally placing the cup down on the table in front of her.

"The lighting sucks in here." Just sayin'.

Riley had been waiting for not really long at all but he didn't like to be kept waiting at all really. He made exceptions of course, some old people, professors, and his friends. And Evelyn obviously fell into one of those categories....Which one, he didn't have the foggiest. So the Gryffindor began to bite his thumb nail and looked at the dark space where the door was, just out of the reach of the light.

Then a shadowy shape entered the ring of light, and Eveyln sat down at the table across from him. As he opened his mouth to great her on this most wonderfully sneaky of evenings his face fell into slight annoyance at her, less-than-welcoming comment. Riley stood up and threw his hands out infront of him. "Do you want to leave and we can remake this room. You didn't exactly give me much to work with." he said, his inner spoiled-ness leaking out to a already knowing Eveyln. She had noticed he had a tiny attitide problem at times right?

Didn't give him much to work with? "Well when I said I wanted to meet you in the room of requirement...I didn't expect you to create the most darkest room you could think of." She said it all matter-of-factly as she stared up at him, one eyebrow arched in irritation, yet her expression had a hint of amusement. It was amusing! He got angry so easily. Plus it was slightly hard to see him and the shadows that played across him just made him funny looking.

"Nooo, it isn't worth wasting our time over. Sit back down." Waving her hand lazily at his seat, she sighed and slumped down her own just a bit. Eh, she was tired. "So...Riley." Riley Riley Riley. Grin. "How have you beeeen?"

Darkest room in the world, really? This coming from a Slythering. Wasn't their Common Room in the bloody dungeons?!

"Fine." he said sitting down and making a mental note that next time they have a secret meeting in the Room of Requirement Riley was going to create a fantastic ball room with marble staircases and a damned mime to top it all off. But at least it wasn't too bright in here, small pleasures.

"Evelyn, Evelyn, Evelyn." he repeated back grinning cheekily. "Oh I haven't been up to much. Walking around the Castle, looking for stuff I hadn't seen before. Stepping my foot in and out of the Forbidden Forest just to do so the other day." And he had payed for that one, he got stuck petting and brushing Mr. Stryker's dog! *shiver*

"What have you been up to?" they hadn't really talked much since Josh had phyically harrassed him in the Library because he had 'been meeting up with HIS girl.' haha...fun times.

Fun stuff. She had to laugh a little at the Forbidden Forest part, but other than that, it sounded like he was having a rather normal time. Normal as in 'boring'. "Living in danger zone." she grinned, scooting her cup of tea a little closer to herself. "Don't go too overboard. You may find yourself being extra daring and drinking the pumpkin juice out of the jug."

Hehe.

"Me? Nothing all that exciting. Studying, ruining people's lives, setting the treehouse on fire..." The usual stuff. "Did you know that they were allowing the sixth years to take the OWLs this year?" Because she most certainly did not. Not until recently that is. Not cool! A little warning perhaps would have been nice.

Riley just nodded, not really picking up on the She-Snake's use of slight sarcasm or joling around at his semi-bad boyness. "I don't really like stepping too far out of bounds or anything crazy alone. Having a partner is the only way to go, you know." he nodded. Of course she knew. And he would never drink straight from the jug that was really gross and he disliked that Evelyn would even suggest that.

Wait WHAT?! "Gahhhh!" Riley banged his head onto the table and left it there for a second, his moused up locks standing up towards Evelyn, now parallel to the table top. "I completely forgot about NEWTS this term." he had been so busy wiht lessons and his daily doings, how was he supposed to knwo there were exams coming up for him this term, he didn't have them last term! "Wait you are taking OWLs, but--?" Things were not right, now Riley was confused. Normally confusion just made him shut down.

Well, whatever floats his coats or...whatever that muggle saying was. She couldn't bother to remember at the moment. Besides, having a partner during times of mischievousness was good. You always had someone there to blame if you were caught.

Holding the warm cup of tea close, she was about to take the remainder sips but...Riley started to freak out. Lowering the cup from her lips, her eyes widened slightly as she sat up in her seat and leaned forward, staring at his messy (from this angle) head of hair. He wasn't making any sense! This could only mean..."Oh my...Riley!" Holy mother of Merlin! "You hadn't actually drank straight from the jug before, have you?!"

No. No no. This was bad. This was REALLY REALLY BAD!

Rose walked by the room three times, thinking; I need somewhere to practise spells, and no-one except Luna can come in, unless invited by one of us. On the third time, a door appeared. Rose opened it, and gasped as she found a dummy and other things they would need. Now she had to wait for Luna. She might as well practise her shield spell... 'Protego!' Rose said, as the shield came. She loved this spell... She waved her Wand and it disappeared.
