As Maleficent was acknowledged she raised her large eyes to glare at the boy. 'Um.. nothing really! I know my dad won't be there.. he's working.' " I am happy you are doing fine" William told Thea. " I am doing good, can't wait to get home and go on vacation, too" William explained to Thea." Diagon Alley is a very good place to meet new students" William said to Thea. "What is your name?" William asked the cat.
Hugo chuckled. "Thanks," he said as he took a licorice wand from her. It wobbled around in his hand. This was no good for doing real magic. He ripped a part off with his manly-bear-lionish teeth and started chewing. Lighten the mood? "Is something wrong?" he asked, swallowing the candy. He hadn't been very up-to-date about what Kurumi had been up to, and the only bit of information he had gotten was in the Aparecium, which wasn't very trustworthy. Something about her and that Hufferpuffer from the fifth year, maybe it was something like that.
Wow, she was very enthusiastic. That was a shame though. He had been looking forward to hanging out with her in Diagon Alley. A special program? "Wow, that's exciting!" he exclaimed. "So where is it? What are you going to do in the program?" asked Hugo greedily. "I'm going to spend 2 weeks in France," he told Kurumi. "I hope to find out more about foreign types of wand wood there, but I'll mainly be enjoying the weather," he nodded. "And study Ancient Runes because I'm dead beat horrible at it," he mumbled under his breath.
Ah, there was a new boy in the compartment. Hugo smiled at the sight of Kurumi blushing when the boy patted her on the head. He looked from Kurumi to Jonathan when she introduced them. "It's nice to meet you too, Jonathan," he said and shook the hand Jonathan had extended to him.

Polyjuice potion rocked.
Definitely brought up the best and worst of people. Everything felt topsy-turvy that time. It was a whole lot of commotion.
Speaking of which, the feast at the Slytherin table didn't go as super as well. Someone punched someone. Blood splatter. Fainting and people getting upset about it. It was a lot to take in, in a day. So much drama, so little time.
Finding a seat in the middle, Jonathan closed the door and tossed his stuffs on the side. This is nice. He opened the windows and sat down.

They had licorice wands!
Fee made her way trhough the middle cars, searching for someone she knew. There was nothing worse than traveling on your own.The journey seemed to be way to too long when you were alone.Unfortunately the blonde couldnt find any of her friends at the front of the train and she would probably be totally frustrated if that happend with the middle cars too.
Third year had been amazing,so many things had happened again. It was really crazy how much stuff could be packed into only one year.Going back home now was really weird, the Slytherin would turn 15 in a few months, that was really weird to think of.15 sounded soooo old in her head.
As the blonde almost reached the end of the middle cars she looked through one of the compartment doors and spotted three lovely people.A smile spread on her face immediately as she opened the door."Hey guys",she beamed,"mind if i join?"She hadnt seen Kurumi or Jonathan in suuuuch a long time and being with her boyfriend always made her happy anyway.Hehe.
Ellie looked at him for a moment before a question came to mind. "What's your family like? I just realized you've never really talked about them." And now Ellie felt bad because she also realized that all they talked about was her. And her problems. But now she wanted to know about Dallin's family and where he came from.
When Dallin turned away, he looked very serious. Ellie wondered what he was about to say, and was actually a tad nervous. Maybe he had changed his mind about coming to Ireland...? When he spoke, Ellie stared at him for a moment and bit her lip to keep from laughing. It was obvious she was trying to suppress a grin. And failing. A sort of snort came out and she clapped a hand over her mouth. "I'm sorry." She said, muffled by her hand. "I just... Yeah, I'll wait inside." Ellie grinned.
Ellie's question caught him off guard. He looked back at her, thinking. He'd never really told her about his family, had he? "Well, my dad's a - actually, I don't know what he does. I just know he works in an office. He's not home a lot. My mom's a teacher and she doesn't work during the summer." He paused. How much did she wanna know? "My two older sisters are married and stuff. Natalia, the older one, is actually gonna have a baby soon." Meh. "And then there's Hannah and Kinzie. They're twins. They're pretty cool. They actually surf with me some times." He smiled at Ellie, shrugging. He didn't know what else to say about them right now.
She was laughing at him. Dallin eyed her, waiting for her to say something. Then when she did, he started laughing. "Thanks. I appreciate it." He was going to hold her that, too. She better not be peeking out any windows, either.

When Dallin started to talk, Ellie put her hands on her knees and rested her chin there and watched him. He was just so cute. Ellie thought it was a little funny that Dal didn't know where his dad worked, but she didn't speak up. But when he paused, she did. "Are you and your parents close?" She wondered and then listened to him talk about his four sisters. Wow, that was a lot. Ellie noticed her eyebrows raise slightly. "Aww, uncle Dallin!" She said cheekily and then let him finish. Twin sisters? Wow, Ellie had never met twins. And they surfed, they sounded cool. "How old are they?" Well, Ellie was just full of questions, wasn't she? Hopefully Dallin didn't mind.
Ellie was quite relieved when Dallin started laughing too. She didn't feel as bad that way. Ellie grinned and turned so she was sitting next to him. She nudged him in the arm. "You'll do fine." She reassured him with a wink.
Her eyes...were full of tears. GAH. Why did her mother had to interfere with her future, now that she just needed some peace of mind? Her plans were to go to her Nana's house and spend the whole summer there, and then come back to Hogwarts. And now, she didn't know if it could happen, ever again.
She just hoped that once arriving to her house, where her mother lived, she could talk her out of the idea of taking her out of Hogwarts. After a while of searching for a compartment, she found an empty, peaceful place to be there...
If only she had someone to talk to...

Giving a slight jolt and turning his head, Theo grinned jovially at the sight of the small bird. That could only indicate one person who was near. Leaning forward to peer through the window in the sliding compartment door, a twinkle appeared in his eyes at the sight of Alfie Port. At her appearance, her small, lean frame resting in the entryway, the Ravenclaw almost instantly patted the seat next to him. "He found me, more like," He murmured as Jay chirruped happily from his makeshift perch.
Bree, half forgotten, sat on the luggage rack, her eyes narrowed at the new animal in her midst. Alfie was fine, but who was this delicious little feathery morsel? She ran a tongue over her sharp teeth and mewled lightly. Theodore's gaze shooting up quickly, he gave her a look that said "don't you dare" and shook his head. Succumbing to defeat for now, Bree rolled onto her back and stretched, placing a lazy arm over her eyes before closing her eyes and attempting to take a nap. Alfeodore would definitely have to keep an eye on their child-like pets before anything got too out of hand. Jay, who had seemed to not give much attention to the minor threat of a tabby, flew back to his owner and perched on her shoulder.
Turning back to Alfie, he asked, "Would the window seat be alright, for you... and Jay?" He added, underhandedly picking the seat farthest away from the napping cat.
It wasn't even a minute later until a newcomer happened upon them. "Emma!" He grinned again, standing up. "Do you need help with your luggage?" He reached out a hand, hesitantly pulling back for a second. Some girls had that mindset that relayed the idea that all help from men was to be looked down upon because girls could do just fine on their own.

She immediately plopped down in the window seat Theo suggested for her, nodding as he asked if that seat would be alright. "Yeah, this might be for the best," she murmured absentmindedly, her large blue eyes cascading worriedly over to Bree. And though she wasn't all that great with cats, over the past couple of months she had come to trust Bree to an extent. But the real comfort was the knowledge that Theo would surely have an eye out to make sure little Jay wasn't attacked. She gave a soft smile as the bluebird flew over to sit on her shoulder, quickly growing distracted as Emma then entered their compartment.
"Hey Emma," Alfie greeted with a soft smile, glad to see her Slytherclaw friend before they all got back home. It was only as Theo stood up to help Emma with her luggage that the blonde seemed to realize she'd completely forgotten about her own suitcase. Letting out a sheepish chuckle, she stood and glanced up at the above carriage. Hmm. Sure that her small frame wouldn't support throwing her suitcase over her own head very easily, and not wanting to make poor Theo lift everybody's stuff, the little blonde quickly took out her wand and murmured a spell to levitate her luggage up and into the overhead. Grinning rather proudly at her handiwork, the little Ravenclaw plopped back into her window seat, glancing out of the window curiously. "I can't believe we're already going home..." she muttered softly, then turning her large blue eyes back to the other two in the compartment. "Theo's already assured me he'll keep in contact," Alfie started with a bit of an amused smile. "But I better get some letters from you too, Emma! Jay and I hate being ignored," she warned playfully, jokingly narrowing her eyes at the Slytherin girl as though threatening her with the wrath of her bluebird should there be no correspondence.
Alfie being Alfie and therefore unable to keep up such an act, the girl let out a chiming soft chuckle just a moment later and flashed the pair a grin. "But really, I want to hear about your summer," she explained softly, her expression much more Alfie-like, then realizing that most of the luggage had been put away. She then glanced up at the boy who was still standing, giving a warm smile as she softly brought her hand up to grab a couple of his fingers, tugging at his hand very gently as a silent request for him to sit back down at her side.
And then Theo offered to help her. Where was Braeden when you needed him? But nevertheless, the blonde almost let out an "Aww" but she quickly hid that feeling with a smile. But still... Aww, that was too kind of her fellow Slytherclaw friend. Now, Miss Emma Astoria Malfoy wasn't usually the one to just sit around and let others do stuff for her. No, she had a reputation to keep up. What reputation? Emma gave Theo a warm smile and shook her head, "Thanks for the offer Theo, but I can do it," she said, winking at Theo as she watched Alfie use magic to put her own suitcase up. Ah, now that was a good idea. Why hadn't she thought of that? Ravenclaws. I swear. Pulling out her own wand, the blonde pointed it at her suitcase, used a charm, watched it as it floated up to the rack, and rested gently at the top. There we go. All was good in the world of Emma.
The Malfoy had a whole seat to herself! Well, until someone else came of course. She wondered when the rest of the gang would arrive. As Emma took a seat on the opposite side of the compartment and looked out the window, listening to Alfie as she expressed that she couldn't believe they were going home. The blonde sighed and turned her brown eyes towards her friends. "Neither can I. This term went by too quickly. And next year Alfie, you and I'll be fifth years and you, Theo, will be a seventh year. Merlin's Beard. We can't waste a moment of fun next year!" exclaimed the Malfoy. Yeah, they were going to make next term last. She didn't want to have to say good-bye to her friends then or right now.
Better get some letters? And Jay and her hate being ignored? "Nice to meet you Jay," said Emma, before pausing to answer Alfie's question. Smirking wickedly, Emma chuckled softly. "Of course you'll hear from me. You just both better right back too. Or, when I take over the world, I won't be too happy," said Emma, trying to come up with a good punishment. Yeah, last time she gave someone a punishment, the person said she ended up rewarding that person. Figures. Beaming a happy smile at her friends, she went on about her own summer. Well.. Summer. The Malfoy was having a busy summer. A very busy summer. How would she begin to answer this question?
"Well, I'm going to the Quidditch World Cup. My brother's playing. And then I'm playing Quidditch, going to Portugal to learn Portugeuse on an exchange program, visiting family, and hopefully hanging out with you guys at Diagon Alley. Oh and yes! I'm having a get together for all of us at my house and you are both invited. I just have to owl the letters!" exclaimed Emma all in one breath. The blonde paused to take a deep breath and then looked at the two Ravenclaws. "So, what about you guys? What do your summers hold for you?" she asked, dramatically. And as she looked over at Alfredore's side, she spotted Bree, who looked as if she was taking a nap. Reaching into her bag, Emma pulled out her camera. Mwaha.. She'd take pictures... Lots and lots of pictures.
Were they close? Dallin bit his lip. "My mom and I have our moments. My dad and I on the other hand... not really." Not at all, to be honest. Not for a few years now. But anyway. "Uncle Dallin." he repeated, frowning. He totally wasn't looking forward to it. He didn't know how to deal with a baby, and he wouldn't know how to be an uncle. The thought actually scared him. A lot. Thankfully Ellie had asked another question though, at it got his mind off of the fact that he would have to meet a screaming baby in a few months. "Kinzie and Hannah? They're... eighteen now. They're all moved out and stuff so it's just me, mom, and dad at home."
Dallin rolled his eyes at her nudge and moved his arm so that it was around her shoulders. He pulled her closer and leaned his head against hers. "Thanks for the confidence," he joked.
The Italian boy was a bit confused now. Did Aimee just admit to having feelings for him? Well, that was unexpected since she had been hiding from him all this time. "Do you really? Then why were you hiding from me?" he asked, taking out that ball he had been playing with in the Great Hall. Yeah, he knew he was never going to open the thing unless Kat found out. Welp.
"You're too shy for your own good," Stephen laughed. It was kind of true, though. Aimee was mostly indoors instead out outside where most people were.
Aimée nodded once, before looking down, away from him. "Yes I do, I would not 'ave said et ozerwise," she said. She'd almost wanted it to come out as a snap, but it didn't, and she realised that she was kind of glad of that. Shrugging when he asked his second question, Aimée didn't even look back up at him as she replied, "Because I didn't want to admit eet." Right now she wasn't even sure why she hadn't wanted to admit it though.
Her cheeks flushed a little. "You zink?" She managed, raising an eyebrow. So maybe she was a little shy, but it wasn't her fault... not really.

They shook hands. So like Fee, he's in the 3rd---- er, 4th year. He's in Ravenclaw, he must be super smart. You know how the Sorting Hat works. How does he do that anyway? Read your thoughts in just a simple amount of time. Jonathan just looked at the bloody old thing as weird.
He smiled and nodded to the Ravenclaw in front of him. Before he could ask anything further, someone even more familiar came inside to join them......

...... It's Fee! Been awhile since Jonathan and Fee talked. The last time was at the Kitchens---- still. That's weird, everytime they meet or ran to each other, it would always be in the kitchen. They're both fond of eating stuffs. As for Jonathan, he's just a big fan of chocolate and pumpkin juice. He even let Fee tried the weirdest combination once.
He smiled to her and looked at Hugo "Yeah sure Fee" inviting her to come in. I'm sure everyone wouldn't mind at all with this one.

She murmered again. Thea had no idea if William had heard of this fairy tale.. not many people here had. She sighed, as Maleficent's tail started to twitch back and forth.

"Did I do the wrong thing in telling him how I felt?"

As Kurumi introduced them both, Jonathan congratulated himself yet once again--- it is Hugo, Fee's boyfriend. Yup. He didn't know much about him since Fee was not into details when talking about Hugo sometimes. "Nice to meet you Hugo" he said gesturing a hand to the young lad. Ravenclaw, Jonathan's best friend is in Ravenclaw too but he hasn't seen her much. Maybe they would see each other on the train? Perhaps not?
Oh well...
"I'm YET TO BE A 5th year, Kurumi" he smiled at her. "Don't rush" he joked around. 5th year just means one thing---- OWLs. It's hard enough for Jonathan to keep up with his studying and having OWLs next term is definitely something he is hoping to catch up.
Kurumi smiled a bit when Jonathan and Hugo became acquainted with one another. "Well, you will be a 5th year once we step off this train," she teased, sticking her tongue out ever so slightly. "You should probably get used to the idea." She bounced in her seat just a little with excitement. "Especially when you get the opportunity to take OWLs this coming term! I am so jealous!"
Kurumi leaned back in her seat a bit and thought about the term, her thoughts lingered on the polyjuice assignment. "How did the polyjuice assignment go for you all?" Hers had been a disaster. Well, she thought it had been, but it had ended up alright in the end.

Ellie was quite happy, actually. Or happy compared to how she'd been the past...however long it was. Felt like forever, yet not long enough. But she was on the TRAIN. And it was taking her AWAY from all that nonsense. Home. To her bed. Because as good as she was feeling, she still wasn't in the mood to talk to people. Including her dad. She'd get around to it...eventually...maybe. Right now, though, her own room sounded like the most amazing place in the world. And in just a few wee, little, short hours, she'd be there.
She was sitting right against the window, chewing her lip and watching the fields and whatnot grow larger before zipping past. Unlike all other train rides, both to and from school, she didn't have a bag of sweets, sometimes camera, with her. Her appetite was still next to nonexistant, so the chocolate would just have been unnecessary.
There was no Spike, either, but that was okay. He'd ask questions, probably. And Ellie didn't want to answer them. She'd just like to be home, thank you very much.

This boy had taken the 'Prefect' excuse to wander along the corridor and "check" most of the compartments since he left his own. He'd said congratulations to Iris, and that was the most important single thing he needed to say today. Well, in that compartment, anyway.
In all honesty, and thanks to Finn, he'd been searching for her, because Treyen couldn't possibly leave for the summer without at least saying goodbye, right? Yet there was something else he needed to say. And he was going to, it didn't matter if she'd listen or not, though he kind of already knew she wouldn't.
After a great deal of looking, he was actually walking back in defeat UNTIL he finally found her. His forever favorite Ravenclaw. Good to know Neptune never knew that. He breathed in before deciding on opening the door, "Hi," he said, eyes on her. "Do you mind if I join you for a moment?" because he'd rather close the door behind him as to not have unexpected visitors.
Rafe sighed. "I love her a lot, I don't think I'll ever get over her." He leaned back and stretched his legs across the seat. It almost felt like he was in a therapy session or something.
Mia was very wise beyond her years. He knew when it was necessary to be serious, but he felt like he was too serious almost all the time. "I feel like I'm talking about myself too much. What about yourself? You seem rather content with yourself, which is awesome. I really admire your optimism." It really was refreshing to talk with someone who really had it together, but no matter how much you thought you knew someone from the outside, sometimes they were a completely different person on the inside.
Rafe chuckled at the thought of a giraffe wondering around Hogwarts. "I think a giraffe would be a bit difficult to travel with, she might want to think something smaller, like a wart hog or meerkat." He was curious if she was talking about the same Destiny he knew? "Are you talking about Miss Shepard?" He had a crooked grin stretch across his face. "I don't think I'm her biggest fan ever since she thought I tried to set her on fire...which wasn't true I assure you...I was just trying to get her to reveal herself from hiding behind a bush." He laughed. That had been many, many years ago. He wondered if Destiny even remembered.
Vegan? Vegetarian? The words almost sounded foreign to him. If one of his 'brothers' said they were one of those they would be completely ridiculed. "I can respect your choice, I just find it very difficult to go without meat." It was just part of that animal instinct.
Rafe leaped forward to help prevent her butterbeer from falling, but she seemed to have it under control. He couldn't help, but laugh at her reaction. It was amazing how different every revelation had been. He finally brought himself to stop laughing so hard. "You're perfectly fine, I mean it's not every day I bet you encounter something like myself...My father is a pureblood wizard and werewolf and my mother was a pureblood witch...they were forbidden to have children, but as you can see me being here today...they're divorced and my mum raised me as we traveled all over the world until I got accepted into Hogwarts. Anyways, the only traits I possess is I get a little moodier around a full moon and I've had a beard since I was eleven...also lately, I've been able to extend my upper and lower canines when I focus my anger. I'm getting better at controlling my emotions, but you have nothing to fear." Rafe grinned. There was so much history and it was so complicated he didn't know if Mia would completely comprehend or just think he was some kind of freak.
"You say that now because it's still fresh and you probably see her all the time at school." Mia shifted on the seat so that her back was leaning against the window and propped her feet up onto the bench seat. "Time heals all wounds, you know? You can quietly mourn the loss of your relationship with this girl but don't hide yourself away. Otherwise you will miss meeting that special someone."
Crossing one leg over the other, Mia chuckled softly at Rafe's description of her. "I'm impressed. You have me figured out already." She gave her bottle another tap with her finger. "I am very content with my life. Always have been. I grew up in a commune in Australia. There are about fifty of us and our philosophy is that life is to be enjoyed. Family is the most important thing and to love and be loved is the greastest gift ever." She laughed sheepishly. "People call us hippies."
Mia gave Rafe a startled look when he suggested a smaller animal. She didn't want Destiny taking any animal home and she was just about to tell him that when he continued on and she couldn't help but laugh. "Yes it is the same Destiny. And yes she tends to be slightly paranoid about things." And she also did very weird things. "Why was she hiding in the bush?"
Well he was right about that. In fact he would have to be the first person she had ever met that had...an affliction so to speak. "Do you think that you will get more abilities as you get older? You know maybe as you mature more." Mia was finding this whole subject of conversation rather fascinating. "Oh I'm not scared." Rafe was too nice as far as she was concerned to fear him.

You know, it would be very helpful to have a watch sometimes. As annoying as Ellie thought them to be, she had no idea when they left Hogsmeade and no idea how long they've been travelling. Keeping time was much easier when the train was moving the opposite way. When it got dark, you knew you were almost there. But it didn't get dark, it just stayed light. Continually sunny. The world was giving no indication if they'd arrive soon or not.
Staring, and waiting to see London was her only choice.
Ellie tore her eyes from an approaching bush, and towards the door when she heard it open to see just who was about to bother her. Treyen was the one person she least expected. A stranger looking for a seat, even this long (or short) into the trip was more likely.
She immediately stopped chewing her lip, though it was still clenched between her teeth. Now that she was looking at him, she couldn't look away. She kept telling herself to just turn back to the window, simple task really, but her eyes wouldn't listen.
Did she mind? She completely minded. She hadn't come to a decision, yet. She'd only been missing him and wishing to get away from him at the same time. If he was looking for an answer, she didn't have it. But she couldn't deny him a seat, could she? It was a free train. So, she silently stared at the Prefect. He was likely to do whatever he wanted anyway, right?

"I take that as a 'Yes'." That she did mind him joining her, but she never did have a choice, honestly, that's why he took those couple of steps that would allow him to be inside the compartment, and then turned to close the door.
The thing is, he didn't turn towards Ellie as soon as he'd closed the door, he remained slightly frozen for a moment, as his hand still touched some part of the windowed door. However, it didn't take him long to say one of the things he had to tell her, "I miss you," he did, immensely. More than losing a girl he liked, he lost a friend, a cherished one, and that was the worst part of it all.
The smile he'd brought inside the train when he stepped into it this morning was slightly gone, but at least his mood had improved dramatically from yesterday, and from the past couple of weeks, thanks to that one Ravenclaw boy. And, no, we're not talking about Eino, who could truly uplift Treyen's mood by calling him 'Sir Treyen'. Ha, funny little guy.
His mind went blank. He completely forgot what it was that he wanted to say, but did manage to turn his back to the door and leaned against it. Eyes on Ellie, again.

That would be correct. Good job, Treyen.
Shocked might best describe how she was feeling at the moment. Not only was Treyen here, not only was he talking to her, but he seemed completely casual. He was still smiling, he was making eye contact...all signs of normalness. Granted, Ellie was making eye contact, too, but that seemed to be beyond her control at the moment.
Gah.
This whole situation...Ellie had absolutely no idea how to handle it. He missed her? Really? That almost made her feel guilty. She had been making a point of avoiding him, after all. She made a point of avoiding most of the castle, but that was unimportant. Had he actually been looking for her, unable to find her?
And then there was the fact that he had his very own compartment he could be in right now, didn't he? So...had he really been looking for her? And had her cornered now? Because obviously she'd be on the train.
And WHY? Why was he here? Surely he had a purpose, right? Or was it just completely random that he abandoned his secret Prefect compartment and stumbled upon hers at the same time he needed a rest from 'rounds' or something?
But she missed him, too, if she was going to be completely honest with herself. And him. And...yeah, she was going to be completely honest with him, whether or not he could say the same. "I miss you, too," she said softly. She hadn't completely found her voice yet. The shock was still there. Fading, but there.

So maybe she was a little shy, but it wasn't her fault... not really.
"You didn't want to admit it because you didn't want to have feelings for me..?" he asked, almost in a hurt voice, but barely noticeable. It's not like Stephen expected her to actually have feeling back for him. It would've been nice if she did, but the way she said it, he wasn't completely sure about this anymore. This would probably a good time for Lexi or Kat to pop out.
"Just a bit. Some people might take advantage of that," Stephen said. But he wouldn't, of course he wouldn't. But if she was like that, he wasn't going to change that.

And, even though standing here hurt too much, he was still standing, and he'd still say something as soon as words hit him. Whatever words his mind decided on.
'I miss you, too.'
THAT hurt even more. And they were going separate ways today. Yeah, he wanted to be home already.
What was he doing here again? Ah, right. "You...," he started to say, as he took one step forward, BUT quickly returned to his position against the door. He couldn't possibly manage being too close to her, right? Maybe. "You weren't in the Stands...the Pitch...for the last game," he wasn't going to bring up their last conversation. No.
That made him remember something else he wanted to say, though.
Sorry for being late! Trying to post ASAP b/c train is closing soon.

The little blonde wasted no time in entering the compartment, her medium-sized suitcase rolling quietly behind her.

Theodore sat down, defeated, as his girlfriend had outwitted him once again. He wasn't the type of boy to take offense when a girl did something better than him; rather, he admired dear Alfiana even more for taking such initiative. He still felt like the luckiest boy in the world for having fallen for a girl as intelligent, strong-willed, and as beautiful as she. If not for her, he'd probably still be a lost, Americanized transfer student. With her fingers tugging at his own, he was putty in her hands and would do whatever she wished, even if she had wanted him to sit down on a seat made of snapping lobster claws that wanted to have his pants for dinner.
"Oh, that sounds... great, Emm! Really." Theodore was glad to see that she was doing better and wasn't putting on a show of joviality, or so it seemed. Where on earth was Brae? Or Ruby, even? If they were together off in some solitary compartment, Theodore felt the urge to punch them both. Well, maybe not Ruby because who knew what limb she would tear off and Theo didn't hit girls or anyone, really, even in quidditch, but Braeden for sure. His girlfriend was here, so why was Ruby suddenly the center of his attention? For once, Theodore felt like he had more bawls than his favorite Gryffindork did. If something was really changing in the dynamic of Brama and Braeby, Theodore felt like the mature thing to do for the trio would be to talk it out and if worst came to worst, for Brae and Emma to split up. That was better than the silly games that they were playing for the moment. The worst part of it was that summer was just around the corner: would they all want to pass two whole months in emotional distress because of the childishness?
"Plans? Erm..." He scratched his chin, side-eyeing Alfie and resisting the urge to wink as a smirk came onto his face. "Well, besides us hanging out," He playfully elbowed the small 'claw in her side, their fingers still intertwined, "I... I don't know. I'll definitely try to make it to your shindig, Emm. I wouldn't miss it for the world. And... maybe you could help me brush up on quidditch?" He laughed lightly, but on the inside thoughts began to swirl around as if caught in an emotional tornado. Alfie and he had promised to see each other, but the logistics seemed a bit tricky and risky. What if, on his broomstick, he was caught in a summer storm on the way to see her and was struck by lightning? Not as if it would keep him away, but it would put a damper on their festivities along with a number of other obstacles in their possible traveling paths.
Theo involuntary gulped with minor worry. He had been wanting to do something for a while but hadn't mustered up the courage to do so. He hadn't ever done it in his life and was waiting for the right moment, and now was the last moment that he and Alfie had before they lost each other on Platform 9 and 3/4 when finding their respective families. Would it have been a lie to say he had practiced in his mirror with his pillow? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, something had to be done. And the nervous adrenaline pumping through his veins told him that the time was right. There was no time to check his breath, his hair, or his shoelaces. "Hey," He addressed them both, his voice surprisingly cool and controlled, "I think I want to take a trip to the food trolley before it gets too crowded. I don't have enough pockets to bring everything back, so... would one of you...?" Squeezing Alfie's hand, she was the obvious choice for the mission. It would have been quite awkward if Emma had agreed to go, considering what was on the boy's plan for the jaunt to the trolley. Emma would keep company with Bree and Jay; with her camera in hand, she looked like she would have fun with the two animals. And if Brae miraculously showed up, Ruby-free or not, even better.

Ellie frowned slightly when Dallin talked about his parents. It was obvious that they had some differences. She looked at him with sympathetic eyes. "What happened between you and your dad?" Ellie asked softly before she could stop herself. "You don't... have to tell me." She quickly added. "Talking about family can be rough, I know." Ellie reached for his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. Ellie also noticed his frown after he repeated 'Uncle Dallin', but she didn't question him on that matter because there seemed to be enough sensitive family talk already. Ellie nodded. Just him and the parents. And Ellie imagined that since he and his mom only got a long sometimes, and he and his dad didn't, Dallin might have been excited to get out of the house this summer.
Laughing lightly at his eye-roll, Ellie gladly leaned into his hold and smiled when their heads rested together. "You're welcome." She said teasingly and kissed him on the cheek. Ellie wrapped her arm around his lower back and sighed.

She didn't see that. The step. Her eyes were entirely focused on where they initially fell - his eyes.
Surprisingly, they didn't leave him even after he mentioned that. Now she definitely felt guilty. She began chewing on her lip again, hesitating to respond. Not that it needed a response, technically. That was a statement, was it not? An observation? "You noticed?" Personally, Ellie didn't pay too much attention to the stands. They were merely something to avoid colliding with. She couldn't possibly scan them during a game, picking out familiar faces. Her attention was needed elsewhere. And after the match she was either too disappointed or too happy to bother, depending on who won, of course.
That was a dumb question because he obviously noticed or he wouldn't have said anything. And she was feeling guilty about it. Hadn't she promised to be at all his games. Even if she had really not wanted to see him at the time, she'd broken a promise. That was as bad as lying.

Dallin bit his lip. "It's a bit... hard to explain," he told her honestly. "I don't even know really. We were never too close as it was, when I was growing up." Heh. That made him sound like he was old. "I remember, I used to be so happy whenever we would spend time together. But then... it just got worse. We got further apart." He shrugged, turning his head slightly to look at Ellie. "That was about the time I learned that I was a wizard. Then I spent most of the year at school and wasn't home. That made it worse, I guess." He bit the inside of his lip; he had said a lot. Ellie probably wasn't looking for a whole back story there.
Ahem. He smiled when she kissed him, then he quickly kissed the corner of her mouth. He couldn't help it; he just liked to kiss her. "So," he said, his voice suddenly cheerful, "What do you think your mom will think when she sees me?"
