Shocked might best describe how she was feeling at the moment. Not only was Treyen here, not only was he talking to her, but he seemed completely casual. He was still smiling, he was making eye contact...all signs of normalness. Granted, Ellie was making eye contact, too, but that seemed to be beyond her control at the moment.
Gah.
This whole situation...Ellie had absolutely no idea how to handle it. He missed her? Really? That almost made her feel guilty. She had been making a point of avoiding him, after all. She made a point of avoiding most of the castle, but that was unimportant. Had he actually been looking for her, unable to find her?
And then there was the fact that he had his very own compartment he could be in right now, didn't he? So...had he really been looking for her? And had her cornered now? Because obviously she'd be on the train.
And WHY? Why was he here? Surely he had a purpose, right? Or was it just completely random that he abandoned his secret Prefect compartment and stumbled upon hers at the same time he needed a rest from 'rounds' or something?
But she missed him, too, if she was going to be completely honest with herself. And him. And...yeah, she was going to be completely honest with him, whether or not he could say the same. "I miss you, too," she said softly. She hadn't completely found her voice yet. The shock was still there. Fading, but there.
So, now was the moment for running away, because his memory was completely erased at the sight of that incredibly amazing blue her eyes were. He'd missed those the most. And, even though standing here hurt too much, he was still standing, and he'd still say something as soon as words hit him. Whatever words his mind decided on.
'I miss you, too.'
THAT hurt even more. And they were going separate ways today. Yeah, he wanted to be home already.
What was he doing here again? Ah, right.
"You...," he started to say, as he took one step forward, BUT quickly returned to his position against the door. He couldn't possibly manage being too close to her, right? Maybe.
"You weren't in the Stands...the Pitch...for the last game," he wasn't going to bring up their last conversation. No.
That made him remember something else he wanted to say, though.
