The house elves are hard at work preparing your next meal but, they're always willing to prepare an after-hours snack to those students who are brave enough to tickle the pear and enter the kitchens. Ovens and refrigerators like the back wall, while pots, potion burners, utensils and pans are scattered over counters.

"Yep, two eggs. While you are in the fridge, can you also get some butter? I can get the dry ingredients." Adam grabbed two perfectly round white eggs and put them inside a extra bowl he got out from one of the counters.He found the butter, checked how much was needed and cut half of it.And put that into a bowl.

"Yes I did want that, quite exact you are."Adam said, patting her head.

There she was, in the zone, grabbing all these ingredients that made her feel more at home and with who she was. It was her passion, something that eased her, and Adam was her rather bad sue chef that would soon depart her.

Maybe he could borrow *STEAL* her cookbook one day and make her a cake before he left her.

"Sure thing."He said taking the spoon and moving it in a circular motion then after a few swirls he folded the mixture so that he flopped over itself.He did that for about another 3-5 minutes."Yes, because if I chop we may need to visit the hospital for a bloody finger that needs to be stitched up."Adam teased himself.
At the end of the mixing, Adam could feel his face burning red from all the excerise he had just done in a few months.
"Do I look like a tomato?"

Kurumi went to cutting the chocolate trying to keep the chunks as even as possible without making them too small. She was about half way done when Adam spoke again. "You don't need another visit to the hospital wing," Kurumi said looking up and then down at her chocolate covered hands. She probably already had enough chocolate for the cookies. "Speaking of which, how is your leg?" Adam sure seemed to be walking much better now. "More like a strawberry I'd say."

Normally Elyon would've been too optimistic and in her own little world to really get a grip on what her friend was saying, but this time was different. As her mind wrapped around the truth to Selina's words, Elyon felt her heart shatter into a million pieces. She didn't want to make a scene and start crying here, and for once in her life she wanted to blend in the crowd, so nobody would notice her. She looked up at Selina, shaking her head slowly, wishing she could deny it. Before she could be stopped, Elyon darted out of the kitchen, her braids flying behind her, trying to get to the common room as quickly as possible. She had to find Christopher so she could read that letter. She didn't even start skipping at all! She had to know what her mum had to say. This couldn't wait.

"Elyie!" Selina called after her. But it was too late the small girl had already flown out the door. In a moment of frustration Selina yelled, "God!" and kicked the cabinet. What was she thinking? Elyie was the sweetest person ever. Whatever the contents of that letter held were not good, she could just tell by Christopher's face. But it was too late to stop what was in motion. The only thing still moving now was the bowl that Elyie had dropped on her way out- still spinning on the ground.

Fee made her way to the kitchen.She hadnt been here for so long.White,hot chocolate was missing.A lot.Last time Elliot had been with her.Where was that guy anyway?!People disappearing was sooo uncoool, why did that always happen?!Looking for a free seat the blonde waved and smiled at the little houseelves.They were soo sweet and always nice making her a snack or something.Hehe.

Sep wandered into the kitcens, unsure of where else to go. As an 11 year old boy, he got bored very easily. Perhaps he could even draw the house elves or grab a snack.

Kurumi tried not to laugh at the mention of a cane. In her head, the only person who used one of those was her grandfather who was so hunched over and small that he came up to her shoulder. "I am glad you are feeling better." She looked into the bowl and saw nothing but fluffy goodness. "Perfect," she smiled picking up one of the eggs, breaking it, and dropping the contents of the shell into the mixture. "You are going to have huge arm muscles after this," she teased.

Oops. Kurumi had clearly brought up a sour subject for Adam as little bits of the bowl's contents began splattering all over the place including landing on her nose. "I think a lot of us are thinking about doing that," Kurumi said in attempt to cheer up Adam. "I think that's what I am going to do." Mainly so she could continue doing research over the break, but that wasn't needed information now. "Maybe we can play bubblegum Quidditch with whoever is around." Surely that would bring a smile to Adam's face...and stop their cookies from ending up on the wall.
