Kurumi looked over her shoulder when she heard another voice and her expression of pain softened when she saw Cass. "Hello," she said removing her hand from her forehead. Unfortunately, there was still a rather large red blob in the center making her looking like a deformed unicorn.

Kurumi then turned her attention to Heather and tried not to laugh...to hard. "Well, I was thinking today we could try and make something that don't require an oven. Less chance for you to turn cookies into muffins again."

"something no-bake...it sounds nice and safe." Heather laughed. "and something new for me to make. Okay, kurumi, you're going to be my teacher on baking then?" she asked heartily then turned to Cass. "You also up to baking today Cass?"

Cass smiled at the two of them as they greeted her back. "Hey Heather." She said before turning to Kurumi with a worried expression on her face and asked "Do you want to put ice on that Kurumi? It looks a bit bad."

Then her smiled widened even more at the mention of baking. With a no-bake recipe! "Are you sure you guys want me to help?" She asked as she arched an eyebrow at them "I'm a bit of a menace in the kitchen..."

Rex has been known to be clumsy at times. Rex tripped over the floor. As he was going down, he noticed a wafting smell. He found the source of the smell and put it in his bag.

Nika wandered into the kitchens. She grabbed a few cookies and munched on them while looking around. "AHA!" Just what she is looking for. Nika took the item and then made her way out.

He was getting closer and closer to the Dungeons, but right during one of those rides in the Moving Staircase, it HIT him. He still had plenty of time ahead of him, and he was half down on the items...perhaps if he kept on looking, he'll find one more, and as long as he managed to return the bag in time, then it didn't matter how many items he could collect, no?

So, that's why Treyen continued in the lookout for Lafay's hidden treasure.

Yeah, the boy was thinking of this as a treasure hunt. It was, at least, more manly than a simple scavenger hunt.

He was actually hoping to find one item that seemed like it would belong in the kitchen, and he ended up finding another one instead! Well, he would've taken one of those pans or teapots and tell Lafay that THOSE could be used in Potions. Haha.

She wouldn't agree, possibly.

Either way, he eyed the item again and a small smile was on his face. Yeah, that item will do. It went inside the bag and he took out the parchment to make sure how many more items were left and...what could they possibly be.

Off to the grounds. He ran outside the Castle.

Almost there. It was what he kept telling himself. Already his legs were burning from the running he had been doing. All the way across the grounds, up to the seventh floor and back down again. He was almost there. He was almost done.

It was high temptation to take a break, to get a glass of water and just collapse into one of the chairs in the kitchen. Sleep for a little while maybe. But even with that thought running rampant through his head, he was already looking for another hidden item, another clue. If he stopped now, he probably wouldn't be able to get back up again, and then everything would be for naught. So he gave his brow a quick swipe of his sleeve, and tried to calm his breathing as he opened up cupboard after cupboard. There was an increasing sense of frustration as nothing matched the list of required items.

On the last cupboard, closed with a bit more of a bang than he had intended, he was absolutely ready to just flop down. Nothing was in the cupboards. Isn't that were things were kept? Logically? Normally? Or perhaps he was just used to his own kitchen where nothing was left out. Ever. Strange sort of habit now that he thought about it.

With a shake of his head and a sigh, Sabel moved over to the sink, swiping a glass from one of the shelving units on his way. Perhaps he did need a break to clear his head, to get it working properly again and out of the haze of fatigue. So, he dipped the glass under the steady, cool stream of water and then, ducked his head under it. It wasn't exactly the ideal use of the kitchen sink, but the cool trickle over his hand had been too enticing.

It was when he turned his head and glanced lazily at the counter beside the sink that he saw it. Sitting right there in front of him. It may as well have sported a grin and a hand to wave in greeting.

"Bloody ---" BANG!

That was it. His head had snapped up too fast, forgetting the faucet right above him in all his excitement. The jarring sensation and sudden, splitting pain was mutual between his skull and the metal that vibrated with the impact. One hand snapped onto the faucet to stop it from vibrating right off the sink, the other gripping the back of his head with a fierce grimace. "Bloody!"

That was it. No more breaks. None. Absolutely not.

With a growl, he flicked off the tap, snatched the potion burner from the counter and left the kitchen, hand on head. Going out with a bang. Really not something he had ever wanted to try for.

Kyle slipped into the kitchens looking around to see if anything she needed was in there she smiled. There was a burner she noted - and walked over. Trying to pick it up it seemed far too hot. Quickly thinking she cast a cooling spell on it turning it off, and then levitating it she positoned it over the bag. She quickly placed it inside of the bag. Not much more to go she thought smiling.
