The house elves are hard at work preparing your next meal but, they're always willing to prepare an after-hours snack to those students who are brave enough to tickle the pear and enter the kitchens. Ovens and refrigerators like the back wall, while pots, potion burners, utensils and pans are scattered over counters.

Eh, she couldn't get everything right! "I'm ready as ever! Though I tried getting ready before you came, I failed a bit." She laughed, spinning over to a chair, watching the elf with great interest.

She thought they were simply adorable with bat like ears and their big eyes, working so hard for them. She wished they could have a vacation or something. They most definitely deserved it. As she said this aloud, the elf bowed to her, causing her to errupt in giggles.

"That's very wise of you, Selina! I strongly agree! I'm great! It seems that my mum has finally written back to my letters! I'd been sending them all year, but I never got a reply! Mum must have had trouble with the concept of owl post, but I can't wait to read it tonight with Chris!" Elyon could've screamed she was so happy, though she decided to try to refrain from causing panick to others in the kitchen.

Dallin smirked, but looked away from Ellie. He scooted back to the edge of the counter and started swinging his legs again, now that he didn't have a balloon to occupy himself with. He picked up a salt shaker that was near him, weighing it in his hands.

Sigh. He was BORED now. And he wanted cake. He glanced up at the house elves, wishing they'd say how close they were finishing with the cake. SIGH. He poored some salt onto his hand, then dumped it on the floor. Boredom.

Selina felt her heart drop in her stomach. So that was what the letter was about, it was from their mother. From what she had heard on the train about the woman she was not the most accepting mother when it came to magic. What if they tried to take away Chris and Elyie like Adam's parents now were? She could not handle losing three friends instead of one.

"I'm sure it's nothing. And what has been your favorite class so far?" Selina asked breaking the eggs into the bowl and handing Elyie the whisk.

"Did you get it?" She asked him whispering because she had heard the noise on the other side of the kitchen to. "So what do you say we sneak some food, since that's what we came down her to do.' She smiled and turned toward the pantry. She was hungry, and Preston had convinced her to come down here.

"Do you know how to pick a lock?" She asked forgetting that there was a spell to do that kind of work for them.

Elyon took the whisk happily stirring the eggs rapidly, humming before looking back at up at the red head. "I'm just so happy to finally know she cares! Normally she calls us freaks and pushes us down the stairs and all sorts, but it seems she really cares! She finally has accepted us!" Elyon twirled over to the cupboard, getting out the milk. "Oh, Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration, Herbology, and Charms. Those are my four favourites so far. All of the others just don't seem to compare in my book!"

... Oh. Had she seen him amusing himself with the salt shaker? Embarrassing. Dallin pressed his lips together, looking at Ellie innocently.

"I'm entertaining myself." he answered simply, putting the salt shaker back onto the counter and sliding it out of his reach. "Erm... sorry. I won't do that anymore." What would he do instead, though?

"Uh... oh, yeah, sure," he chuckled. "Three times five. Right." Although where the five came in, Dal had no idea. "And would you like me to blow that balloon up? I can do it quicker than you can." That was sure to get a reaction... *evil look*

"...She pushes you down the stairs? Like down a flight of stairs? Elyie- that is not okay. Why are you seeking her approval so much?" Selina could not believe her ears. What kind of person could harm their child like that? What kind of person could live with themselves?

She was SO not placing Lexi .... dinner order. Gryffindors were seriously weird.

Lexi quirked a brow at the Bott girl as she followed her into the kitchen. "Of course I have eaten. I happen to have a very high metabolism... or something like that." Yeah. She had to eat a LOT.

Lexi then smiiiiiled real wide at the house elves and said, "Can I have a steak, medium, potatoes, carrots, and then some ice cream to follow? Thank you so much!"

See there, there was no reason to be hateful to the elves. And there was no reason that Neptune couldn't pull her own seat out. That is where Lexi drew the line.

Or....wait. She pulled out her wand, "Leviosa, Fixate." And she did the same for all three.

Now they were suspended in the air. Just like a helium balloon would be. Who needed muggle stuff like helium when you could have magic.

"You won't be throwing it. I'll throw you a birthday party, and you can throw me a birthday party." Grin. "The cake can be fore both of us. 'Happy Birthday, Ellie and Dallin.'"

Besides, a double birthday was cooler than just a single birthday.

Adam opened the door for Kurumi, still holding her hand in his .
He walked over to the refrigerator and opened it, looking at the eggs. That's about all he knew when it came to ingredients.
"Two eggs right? Those always seem to be the basics."He giggled.

Kurumi smiled as she skipped and let go of Adam's hand to pull out her own cookie notebook to take a quick peek at the recipe.

She set the book down on the counter before grabbing a rather large jar of peanut butter and a block of chocolate to be chopped. "You did say you wanted peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, right?"
