Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Christopher felt a surge of guilt hovering over him. They barely had any money, and he really didn't want Elyon to waste hers on a gift for his birthday. But it was already too late. When he opened them, he saw a beautiful blue and gold box, a neat silver bow topping it all off. "Oh El....." It was way to much. She didn't have to get him anything. Her being there for him was enough. He was about to go on in protest, but his sister had already pulled him into a big hug. He stared at the top of her sandy head for a moment, and then returned the hug, still feeling quite guilty.
When he opened the box (very carefully as to not tear the lovely wrapping), his face suddenly brightened, a smile pasted onto his face. He tenderly lifted the beautiful necklace out of the box, and put it around his neck, despite it looking a tad girly. He looked down into his sister's eyes that matched his so closely. "Oh Elyon, this is wonderful. It's lovely, I couldn't have asked for anything better." He hugged his sister once more and joked, "Now Nargles will never bother me!" Then he realized she was serious. It had been a task though. A rough day. Lots of news. Grasping a wall hanging for support she moved out of the way so Sabel could crawl through. She wanted help to the sofa and then she would call for an elf. Mhm. Something she never did. EVER.

She lounged lazily and covered her eyes with her arm. She was just so... UGH.

She brought her mirror close to her face then breathed "Nika"
Nika's face appeared it the mirror with the same expression she had while sitting next to her. She coudn't wait to see Nika's reaction to this! | |

But arguing didn't seem to be an option, especially not as the elf was summoned moments later. A small shake of his head had him declining the offer for anything, watching as the elf disappeared just as quickly as it had come.
With a slow breath out, he spared Lexi a glance before sinking down onto the sofa beside her. Concern was the first and foremost emotion as his eyes glided over the Gryffindor; she really didn't look to be doing too good.

The little elf swept a low bow and with a smile he snapped his fingers and was gone with a loud CRACK.
Lexi reached out with a shaky hand to retrieve the tea but decided she needed a moment longer to get her bearings about herself and to let the tea cool a bit. Shaking hands and hot tea, not a good combo.
" I feel like a big ball of nerves, Sabel," she whined as she plopped back again and covered her eyes with her arm once more.

Impressed, Sabel watched as Lexi managed to get her shoes off with just her feet. He would never, ever be able to manage that. Not to mention wiggling his toes like that. How did she manage that? It really was a wonder, and his expression conveyed that as he watched them wiggle and curl.
That was until she poked him in the sides. Then it was simply being startled and a good deal uncomfortable, for which he shifted and tried to catch her ankles to stop her feet.
"Second year passed, we survived. Will again." The musement came somewhat distracted as he finally caught her ankle, holding it a safe distance from his body and giving it the hairy eye. Toes shouldn't be able to wiggle like that.
