Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

"Wow, what time is it now? Everyone seems to be back inside the common room now. I like it when we are all together. Wooo!" She started to cheer with her hands both raised in the air. She then walked to the stereo system which was just behind her and turned on some music.
"We should forget our homework now. And let's party for a while." Alicia suggested, hoping that they would all agree.
"Any suggestion of what kind of music we should play on right now?" She stopped talking, looked at their eyes one by one, waiting for them to answer her.
As she waited, Alicia quickly turned her head around to introduce herself to Jacob. "Hi Jacob." She smiled. "I'm Ally. Nice to meet you!"

Nika buried her face in her hands and then looked back up at her friend. "I don't know why it's so hard for me to write them a letter. It would be a lot easier if I could just send them emails. That way I would be able to send them individually. Knowing my sister she is going to want to read what I send to them. And I don't want her to get jealous! My sister and I were so close and then when I got my Hogwarts letter she avoided me a lot. I just don't want it to get any worse."

She came toward her, grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the dance floor, which was in the middle of the common room. She held both of Nika's hands and moved them up and down, following the beat. She just wanted to make Nika felt as comfortable as her. She ridiculously did the chicken dance, which had reminded her of Alex.

It doesn't sound usual even though I make up words all the time, like middler for example!" Jacob laughed again. "Well...I don't know about Bruno Mars, but Muse is great. Have you ever heard of the muggle band Muse?" Jacob asked curiously at how much muggle information she knew. He watched Ally pull Nika over to the middle of the common room and watched them dance. Jacob smiled and thought What the hell, and joined them. While laughing, he pulled off some pretty funky robot dance moves.

Witsy walked in having been planting in the garden she was in dire need to washing her hands. She suddenly felt what seemed like a snake circling around her ankles. She looked down, "Oh it's you," she laughed, "Hmm, I have something for you." She knelt down next to her silver-swirled cat she named Wolfy. She pulled out a treat and handed it to her, the Kitchen was nice enough to give her a few. "How's that," she petted the top part of her head.
She looked next to Wolfy and noticed she brought her mail. Oh super, she stuck them in her pocket before she got more dirt on them and went to go wash up. Wolfy followed her, she hadn't much company lately and was pleased to be with her too.
