The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through.
"Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby!
"Yay! I'm so happy you said yes. Have you asked your parents yet?" Halle didn't want her brother to book the tickets until she had a for sure notification from both Nika's and Emily's parents.
"Yeah, I sent them a letter before. But they still havn't replied..." she admitted, playing with her hands on her lap "But they should reply any day now. Then I'll tell you straight away! They should say yes..." Hopefully.
She'd sent a letter to her sister too. Asking to put a good word in for her, the parents might just say yes!

Adam slumped onto the red velvet couch.
It was rather odd to be experiencing heat in the U.K, even for this time, most the time the weather called for foggy thick skies, clouds looming over ahead.
Not being able to handle the heat anymore, he got up and strolled over to the window and opened it. Sure some of the heat would come in, but the gentle breezes that blew with the wind would also fly into the room, giving him cold chills every so often...

Walnut made his appearance first followed by Kurumi who was dragging her trunk behind her. Seeing as she didn't own many clothes, this trunk was mostly filled with books about various subjects ranging from those studied at Hogwarts and beyond.
Finally reaching the bottom of the stairs, Kurumi sat down on the trunk and tried to catch her breath. "This is it, Walnut," she whispered leaning forward and scratching the cat behind the ears.
Looking up, she saw Adam by the window with little beads of sweat running down his temple. It was rather hot for this time of year. "Hey," she said leaning her heals back on the trunk. "What are you doing?"

He inched closer, noe head angled , one ear slightly pulled back.
He knew what she was thinking.
These were their last final days together for who knows how long?Even he didn't know if he could spend a week with her in Japan, but knowing his parents they would do anything to keep him away from his real life.
But that Dragon School offer still stood- until he was legal enough to leave Mexico...

She flicked her wand a few times and drew a circle above their heads as if outlining a cloud. Soon, small delicate snow flakes were falling from the ceiling. "You know, in Japan snowflakes are a sort of symbol for love. No two are alike, just like no two people or two loves are. At least, that is what my brothers often told me."
She blushed at her own innocent conversation. Listen to her going on about snow and it representing love. She didn't even know what that meant.
Wait...did he just call her a young girl? She was a year younger than him, but that didn't make her a baby or anything.
"Um...thank you? Young....boy...."
Now she was confused.

Sometimes her brother would tell them that there is too much illness around that they can't go with him, and they miss a lot. Especially the time he went away for a whole year. That was her fourth year at Hogwarts.

"Will that really be all we will have? Memories?" She looked up at him as a few tear drops trickled down her cheeks.

As Adam turned away, Kurumi felt a piece of her heart break off. She did not realize that he could be doing that to hide his feelings. No, to her he was already trying to turn away.
Kurumi's mind began to race. All her doubts and lack of confidence were coming to the surface as if Adam were the physical embodiment of everything good. With that leaving her, all she would be left with was an empty shell of herself.
The air felt heavy, suffocating even, as Adam continued to speak firmly to her. She knew it to be the truth, but she just couldn't face that reality. The reality that was going to come crashing down on her all too soon.
She moved her hand as if she were going to grab his, but she wasn't sure that he wanted her to do that at the moment.
"I...see..." she said quietly as she sat down on the windowpane. A gust of air billowed through the window and blew her hair across her face.

Great! Now her head rested on his shoe. 1 he was trapped. 2 She would be able to see his face if ever she looked up at him.
Her hair turned a sickly color, it wasn't hard to guess why or how it got that way. Many of the last few days they had spent together weren't the happiest- even if he tried to lift the mood.

Kurumi slowly lifted her head to revealed a tear stained face. Looking into Adam's eyes, she already knew what was coming. That much had been revealed to her during her Divination final.
She tried to pull herself up from the ground, but her knees and spirit were too weak to lift her and she instead crumbled to the ground.
"This is....g-g-g-good..." she couldn't bring herself to say the last word. The word stuck in her throat like a thistle. She closed her eyes, counted to ten, and looked up at him. "...good bye...isn't it..."
In Japan, there were two ways to say good bye. One gave the implication of seeing the other person soon. The other, perhaps never again.
Kurumi felt she knew which farewell this one fell under...and it shattered her heart like glass.

"Not goodbye..."He said slowly as a lump came into the center of his throat- it wasn't his Adam's apple cause he didn't have a very big one.
Slowly but surely, as to not hurt her head, since it was still somewhat on his shoe, he got up.
