Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

With a sigh, he leaned forward, picked up the cat and plopped him on Lexi's stomach. "Here. Make up." As for himself, it was time to investigate the so-called traumatic injury to her foot, and he dipped his head down to peer at the once wiggling toes.
Merlin on the other hand, watched Sabel for a moment before purposefully turning around and sitting on Lexi's lap. Yellow eyes peered at her with the most innocent expression. Pets?

WHAAA? He dropped the cat in her LAP. Lexi leaned back a little bit until she was sure the kitty wasn't going to attempt to eat her face off. Mean kitty.

He needed to stop looking at her all cute and stuff. Why? STOPIT MERLIN. She tried to avoid the kitty's gaze but found herself looking back at it reluctantly. GAAAAH. Why THAT look. THat look that clearly said LOVE ME! She knew that look having given it many a times herself. After a moment of interal fighting she reached her hand up and gently rubbed her finger over the bridge of the kitty nose... and then her little fingers may have started scratching the kitty ears... a smile MAY have come to her lips as well.

He didn't even need to glance up to know that forgiveness had been granted and feline and human were moving on. The excessive purring was indication enough. And the lack of wibbling upon a glance up told him Lexi had all but forgotten about her foot. Still, he gave it a once over again before straightening and leaning back against the couch. It was all good. From what he could see, no serious damage had been endured.

Lexi giggled a little as Merlin started putting his little wet kitty nose all over her and tickling her with his whiskers. Heheheh! CYUTTTE KITTEH! Lexi scooped the kitty into her arms and brought him up to her face where she buried her cheek in the side of the kitty.
His fur was so soft and he was CUTE. She released him from the face snuggle and continued to run her little fingers over his fur. " Yes, yes. It's okay. You know I have always had a soft spot for you. Since the first time I met you, you silly cat," she said softly as she leaned down to let him bump his little head against her forehead... if he wanted little kisses that was. Heheh.

He volunteers arouund the world for a month over the summer and brings my sister and I along. This year he's going back to Africa, so he said my sister and I can go back to California until he's done and said we each bring two friends along, since we still own our old house, so I was going to ask Nika if she wanted to go, so do want to come along as well?" Halle asked. "That is if it's ok with your parents and Nika's parents as well, of course!"
