Cuz Rae was pretty and pretty awesome, regardless of what she was wearing. Rae took her incredibly amazing date's hand, and got on her feet, which was quite hard to balance on while wearing heels. After walking over to the dance floor she turned to face him, "I've only done this once before, I'm sorry if I'm horrible at it." Dancing that is. Then she looked at him, in his eyes, then turned her eyes away, for she didn't want to try anything he wasn't alright with, and if she kept staring at his eyes, she might not be able to help herself.

Why were transitions so awfully awkward? Maybe they'll stop being awkward as he gets older? Non sense! He was fourteen already, it shouldn't be that difficult to go from fast-paced to slow-paced music, right?
He tried his best, though, as not to let Ellie see the uneasiness with which he was sort of slowing down...and then it hit him. Fletcher's costume party. Kingsley. Aha! Treyen came to a full stop and did a little bow as he took Ellie's hand again and got a bit closer than before. He found leading was better when slow music was on. "This is all done in character, Kingsley would do the same, right?" though, perhaps not as exaggerated as he had.
Then he frowned again, "You can't have three teams, only one" and what did all of those had in common?! "You should choose the Arrows" he said, with a small wink, like those he'd seen that Durmstranger make when at the Hufflepuff table.
The food! That was probably going to be the greatest, no? Treyen was practically beaming right now, "Pizza, I know! But, wait, it's gelato, no? Instead of ice cream..." though, it was pretty much the same to him. Ellie blinked at him for a moment. "Reynolds! Reyn!" 'Least that's what she called him.. in her head. She'd been meaning to try it out loud. But in his office first, rather than in a room full of people like in class.
She was very confused when he bowed at her. But then she laughed when she understood. "I'd say that that was quite Kingsley-like." She nodded. Giggle. And she accepted the closer-stance. "I can't?" She pouted. "But I wouldn't be able to choose." Harpies were all 'girl-power!', Arrows were just a good team, and Portree had pretty robes. It's too tough of a decision to make.
Yum. Pizza. "Oh right. I knew it was a funny name. But it's like ice cream, right?" Gelato. Hmm.

Treyen chuckled, "Why do you call him 'Reyn'?" yes, he could see the 'Reynolds' reference, but still, it's as if Zookara was called Zook...well, that wasn't so bad...Professor Zook, it had a ring to it.
Another smile. He'd done right, and he could almost picture Kingsley do the same thing...perhaps in his younger years? Did he even dance? Yeah, Treyen had no idea. "No, no, you can't" that was, like, rule number one. He circled twice with Ellie and then decided to add something about choosing, "It is simple, Ellie, you either choose whoever is the best...in which case, the Arrows would be that team" yes, totally, "Or you choose one close to home" that was the sentimentalist type. Treyen never got to choose, he was pretty much born into liking his favorite team, it had been his sister that decided to give that up.
Haha. Gelato. Yes, funny name, indeed, "It is, sort of" he started to say, "I'm sure it could have a few differences, but still".

Pout. "But I like them alllll." Honestly, Treyen had a point. "Fine, then. Arrows. But Portree still has the prettiest uniforms." Hmph. And, she'd still go to all three's matches. "I'm guessing Arrows is your team, then?" Yeah. It was pretty obvious. "Hmm. Then, do they have regular ice cream too? Is gelato better?" Oh. Now she really wanted to go to Italy. She had to figure this out.

'Compared to Paris everyone looks like a wimp,' she added to herself. Because, seriously, Paris seemed kinda scary in her opinion from the stories that Diggy told her. Diggy was... thinking about them...? "What's wrong...?" she asked, a bit worriedly. She couldn't tell if it was something good or bad. Her heart was beating rapidly and she wasn't sure if it was because she was excited or frightened completely of what he was going to say. He smiled. Through the weirdness they had found each other. Like his parents.
Diggy thought about what she said, "Yeah that's true. But you still have to be tough and all that." He didn't want to add and not cry on the pitch. Like he did last year, but that had been ok since a bludger did smash into his face and break his nose.
He was staring at their feet as they danced. his heart was racing and he wasn't sure if he should keep talking about what he had been thinking about. He had wanted to talk to his dad but he hadn't heard back from him since he sent that letter. "Nothing's wrong," he assured as he held her tighter. He took a deep breath, slowly letting it out. He looked down into her eyes. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. "This is a promise ring," he told her softly. Diggy held out the box for her to take, well he hoped she took it. He waited for her response.

Oh, no, no pouting. This was Quidditch they were talking about. "Let me ask you something..." he began saying, but twirled her around slowly before moving on, "...if the Arrows are playing against the Harpies, who will you be rooting for the entire game?" he said, with a firm nod, "And don't say both, because when you're in the game, your mind or your heart will choose one of them" without further notice, it will happen, you will be left with only one team to support. That's why he didn't bother to root for someone other than Fletcher, because in the end, no matter how much he wanted Hogwarts to win, his mind was set on supporting one and only one.
And then his eyes widened, "You didn't just say that...the prettiest uniforms?" he burst out laughing, "You support a team based on how pretty their uniforms are?" like, really? Surely, Ellie was a girl and was entitled to do so, but she was a girl who knew about Quidditch and played amazingly well too. "I'm not making fun of you, I'm just..." he couldn't find the word, "...this is the first time I've heard something like that" he said, shaking his head.
And then he twirled her again, "They are, ever since I can remember I have supported the Appleby Arrows" it only helps even more that he moved to Appleby when he started Hogwarts. "About the ice cream, I wouldn't know...I haven't gone there yet, remember?" so, all the questions could be answered after he made the trip, if he did "You may ask Professor Hadley if you're very curious about it" and the Professor would most likely have an answer.

Twirl!
Oh. No. Ellie bit her lip. "Err..." she hesitated. She didn't wanna pick. "I wouldn't know until the heat of the moment." It would depend on the whole season. And who was closest to the championship. And the stats of the season. And all that technical stuff. "I can't just pick now."
She smiled. "I've liked them only because of their robes since I was little. Purple's my favorite color, you know." Fun fact. "They're not bad either."
Hehe. "Aww." He's supported them since he was little? She had a mental image of Little Treyen waving that blue and silver flag. Hehe. "I could ask Hadley." Yeah. Maybe she would. She wouldn't be able to ask her which was better, though. That would be an opinion. And if she wanted facts, she'd have to compare them herself.
She'd have to write home after the ball. Italy seemed like the place to visit this summer.

There was this tiny smirk showing on his face. It's not like he enjoyed knowing a bit more than Ellie, no, wait, he sort of did, because it was usually the other way around, it was always Ellie the one who was right about everything they talked about. The Ravenclaw was smarter than the Hufflepuff. But, perhaps when it came to Quidditch she didn't think it plausible to choose only one team. Perhaps the Hufflepuff tended to incline towards loyalty way more than the Ravenclaw? On Quidditch, of course.
His attention was fully on Ellie, amber eyes on her, "I'm not making you choose right now...but you sort of have to think about it soon. We'd love to have you with the Arrows, though" perhaps this was some talent he'd gotten from his dad, trying to convince people about stuff related to the Quidditch team. It was what he did nowadays, anyway.
Purple was her favorite color? Ay, Treyen had his issues with purple, the color seemed to be around him, like when Lafay made them drink that potion that made him glow purple, and the first time he'd taken a hold on his wand...it shot purple sparks. And his favorite scarf, it had purple and blue stripes, but he'd chosen that one so it didn't count. "Then I think you're more inclined to the Prides" even if it was the robes she was liking. Ha. Girls and Quidditch. Just hilarious.
Awww? "Yeah, my father played with them" with the Arrows. Great Chaser he'd been, too.
And about Hadley...totally. Treyen nodded in agreement, she could be the one that knows more than they do about gelato.

He was not going to be the reason her night was ruined with a trip to the Healer and a concussion. Slow and steady and they would both be fine. Besides, Sandra had yet to complain about not being twirled and he was sure someone else would if she asked them. A sheepish grin found it's way on his face as she explained how she got her feeling back in her toes. "Yeah, sorry about that." He was sure she was going to hex him that day. "I can't believe you still danced with me after that."
He would not have.
If it were anyone but Sandra they might have questioned him. Danika would have for sure. Maybe Sandra would tell her later on, but by that time, they would all be on the boat going back home. But, he wouldn't be bothered with it. No one went near him while on the water.
He couldn't help but grin at her obvious excitement. And having a few places in mind.. He supposed having a few options was better than having none at all. True, he wanted to leave the comforts of his parents home, the problem was just trying to figure out where to go. He shrugged when she asked him for suggestions. "I still live in Bulgaria." he said jokingly before a wink could be seen from under his mask. "Have you thought about London? Lots of opportunities there." Or so he heard. Hehe, he knew how much she loved Potion's. It was a surprise she didn't have a cauldron on her right then.. but then again, it would clash with her dress. "And you will be great."
It probably would have been a surprise if he had told her he was not going to travel. But, having been talking about that for as long as he could remember, everyone already knew that about him. Hehe, and then the offer he was waiting for. He didn't think she would have minded him just stopping by, but showing up uninvited.. not really his thing. "Of course I will visit." And in reality, he would have been hurt if she did not invite him."You know, if you need any help.." he trailed off, not feeling the need to finish; Sandra knew she could always ask him for his help.
Sandra was right, of course. He didn't have to know what he planned on doing. But, with people constantly asking him what his plans were, he felt that he should know. Telling them he was going to travel was not a good enough answer for most people.. like his parents. "You're right." And even though she probably knew she was, he decided to tell her anyway. He did have the rest of his life to decide. Besides, he could find a new passion while traveling. Like when people visit Italy. They always seem to come back with a passion for cooking. He had thought about doing something dealing with nature, but it was hard to pick. Although, one thing did strike his interest. "I've been thinking about wandmaking a lot." Nikolai had yet to step on her feet the whole time, which only meant one thing. He was beginning to feel over-confident about his dance skills or lack there of. Aleksandra knew what happened when he got this feeling and had mentally prepared herself for a spin. But, it didn't come. She certainly wasn't disappointed. One could say she was almost relieved about not being spun. Yes, she loved being spun, but being spun by Nikolai had always proved hazardous to her physical health. "No need to apologize, it vas our first dance, and a vhile ago." Which also happened to be around the same time their friendship had begun. Maybe that's why she hadn't hexed him for her injuries. A brief laugh escaped her lips. "Neither can I, guess I had hope that you vould improve."
And he had....after a few more dances and bruised feet.
A smirk crept onto her face, and she slightly tilted her head to the side. "Are you suggesting I move near you, Nikolai?" Her teasing tone matching the look in her eyes. "It has been suggested to me before." Her head nodded, eyes flicking briefly to Fletcher at the champions table. She hadn't considered any place in England until he had suggested London to her. And now Nikolai was suggesting the place as well. She would defiantly have to check London out now. Might make it her first stop since she was so close. Of course she would be great. Potions was the one thing that she excelled at and also loved. More than anything, so it would be impossible for her to fail. Though she did love the complements, and coming from him it meant a lot. Him being one of the few that she considered a close friend.
Sandra would have been surprised, and probably a little hurt though she would never acknowledge the pain or admit to it. if he declined her offer for him to come to visit her. More surprised since they both knew that she wanted him to visit and he wanted to visit her. There was no way they would stop being close, not after all their years at Durmstrang on top of their personal history. "I knov," there was simplicity in her voice. And a knowing that if she ever needed him for anything, he was there for her. Maybe she would grab him while searching for a place.
He didn't have to tell her she was right, she already knew that. The woman had heard that from plenty of people who thought she fibbing about her wanting to work with potions when she was only eleven, and heard the same people tell that to her peers. And it was true. They were only seventeen, almost eighteen. Many people, to her strong dislike, still considered them children or inexperienced in worldly matters. So Nikolai had as long as he wanted to chose his career. "Vandlore," she repeated, only mildly surprised by his choice. He had spoke of the career before, but then it hadn't seemed to her that he had settled on the choice. "It think that's a vonderful career choice. Maybe you should speak with Fedorov, see if he could help you vith that." Konstantin Fedorov was the best wandmaker in her bias opinion. Surely he would help Nikolai if her friend decided to become a wandmaker himself.

"Treyen!" she said with a small, playful push on his shoulder. "At least I don't call him Nolan!" Tehe. That was his first name. That was, like, banned from students, wasn't it? Which made Treyen seem pretty cool for using it, actually. "But no, he doesn't. Yet." Emphasis on the 'yet'. Yeah. "But I am with the Arrows." she said. And the Harpies, and the Pride of Portree.. She was flexible.
The Prides? Over the others. "But I like the Harpies! And the Arrows!" And this was all too confusing.
OMG! Gasp! "That's amazing!" She was standing with a second generation famous Quidditch player! Woaahhh! And this was better than Vindictus. Because Vindictus was old. And scary. Treyen was not too much older than her and nice. "What did he play?!" Dude. Treyen could get his autograph whenever he wanted! He probably had loads.

Treyen didn't think he'd said something bad, but then she was smiling and he was relieved. He couldn't help but laugh again, "At least 'Nolan' is his name" and not a sort-of made up one like 'Reyn'. "I don't see what the big problem is, really" with calling him Nolan. Zookara had even told Treyen to call him 'Jeremy' if he felt like it, only Treyen said no to that.
The 'Yet' part made him chuckle, though, it would be fun indeed to be there when she happened to casually mention how she calls him.
There was a wide smile on his face, this was just beyond funny, "You aren't this indecisive, right? Only with your Quidditch teams?" because she seemed to have the right answers and those people weren't usually indecisive ones, not when the tone in which Ellie spoke was the one of 'fact'.
The boy shrugged as he twirled her again, even more slowly than before, "I don't mind which team you choose...but I certainly hope that you come with only one favorite by next term" he was only joking, he really didn't care but given the fact that she played Quidditch it would be best if she made up her mind.
He smiled, "Then come with us, with the Arrows" he sort of whispered. Ha. It was an easy decision, see?
Hold on. Ellie didn't know, she didn't know that his father had played for the Arrows in the past? He'd thought he'd mentioned that. Oh, well. "He doesn't anymore.." in fact, he quit when Treyen's mom died a whole lot of years ago, "...but he still works with them, as a Representative" and that's maybe why Treyen knew what to say about the team, "Chaser" he nodded, just once, "None of us had played that, though, Kaika is more of a Beater...actually, she plays Beater for the Wasps..." there was a slight disappointment in the tone, since the Wasps were the Arrows ultimate rival, "...and I've never been good as a Chaser" but he still doesn't know what position works best for him. "I missed Quidditch this term" he sighed.

Destiny had told herself she was not going to dance. She didn't know how to dance, but, after eating that WHOLE bowl of chocolate, she decided to go for it. Sure she was partner-less, but the AWESOME dance she was about to perform..she didn't need a partner. One of those dance by yourself dances.
Heck! She didn't even need the right type of music playing!
Dodging dancing couples, and maybe accidentally on purpose elbowing the Durmstranger guy, she made her way to the middle of the floor. Weird that no one liked to dance in the spotlight. Destiny..she didn't care. She was full of CHOCOLATE!!11! Probably had some on her face, too..
Rolling her shoulders, she shook her hands to loosen herself up. Loose..like a like a long legged goose..or something like that..she didn't speak muggle. As soon as the song that was playing finished, Destiny Shepard started to dance the AWESOMEST dance EVER!
Her hands held up at chest level, and a rather cheesy/chocolaty grin on her face, she pinched her beak formed fingers together a few times before sticking them under her armpits to create wings.
Uh-huh!
'Twas the chicken dance!
Flapping her 'wings', maybe a little too hard (she was EXCITED), she wiggled her body and jumping up, she clapped her hands together.
AND AGAIN!

AND AGAIN! After having gone to the 'powder room' as the posh people call it, Mia made a slight detour by the food table before heading back to the seating area and Nik.
With a couple of cauldron cakes in hand, she decided to just cut across the dance floor. She was not interested in dancing mainly because she would rather sit with Nik and because she really wasn't that good a dancer anyway. Oh she could move alright but it usually didn't go with the music.
About halfway across the floor though, Mia halted mid step as she watched Destiny start dancing on her own and a grin spread across her face when she realised what the dance was. She quickly stuffed the cakes into her mouth and ran to join the Slytherin in the middle of the dance floor.
Mia made a beak form with her fingers and then began flapping her arms/wings and then wiggled her body right next to Destiny. She jumped up and then clapped her hands together.
"Okay faster now Destiny."
And they started all over again.

And they started all over again. Yeah!
Destiny could feel ALL eyes on her. And all eyes should have been on her. She was getting down with her inner chicken self and everyone should be envious of that. How many people at Hogwarts could say they turned into a chicken and lived to tell the tale? One. And she was proving everyone that said chickens have no rhythm wrong.
Not that she ever heard anyone say that, but she was sure people thought it.
She was just about to turn around and start the dance all over when someone ran over and joined in. Who was trying to steal her spotlight!? Just about to scold them and tell them to go away, she noticed who it was. Mia! That girl seemed just as crazy as she was..NOT that Destiny was crazy. *scoff*
Faster!?
Mia wanted her to do this dance faster? Sweet Merlin! She wasn't actually good at this dance, considering her being part chicken, and she doubted she could go faster. But she would try..she did have an audience to please. Starting with her hands, she pinched her fingers together again, and was just about to start flapping her wings when she had another idea! "Wait, wait, wait! I know another dance!"
Clapping her hands together high over her head, so they were in the shape of a point, she started to shuffle her feet around in a circle. "Look! I'm a pencil and my feet are the eraser!"
She continued to shuffle her feet around, and she might have been whispering something that sounded like 'Erase it, erase it.'

Hehe...
This was so much fun. Mia hadn't done the chicken dance in such a long time and she was having a ball. And she KNEW that all the other people on the dance floor were extremely jealous right now wishing that they could join in on the fun as well.
Not that Mia would ever stop them from joining in on the fun because everyone was welcome to participate. She was just getting herself prepared to go faster when Destiny stopped and told her of another dance.
Mia stopped what she was doing so that she could watch the Slytherin demonstrate the moves.
Oooh a pencil!!!
Copying what Destiny was doing, Mia placed her hands above her head into a point and then started shuffling around in a circle. She wasn't too sure about the whole 'erase it' part but she went with it anyway.
After doing this for a few minutes, Mia turned to Destiny with an excited look. "Oh. Oh. I have one." She moved into a position so that the girl could see what she was doing and then she stuck out her right thumb and jerked it three times over her right shoulder then clapped her hands and then changed to sticking her left thumb out and jerking it over her left shoulder three times all the while doing a small shimmy with her body.
"It's called the Hitch Hiker!!"

"It's called the Hitch Hiker!!" It was a shame the dance floor was not carpeted. If it was, Destiny would have taken her shoes off and when she was full of static due to all the shuffling about she was doing, she would have went over and touched Noel's date. No competition there. Noel would rather have someone with static-free hair, for sure.
And Destiny's hair was static-free.
Glad to see Mia joining in on the pencil dance, she shuffled her feet even faster, only to stop and lower her arms when she said she had a dance to show. Sweet! They were like dancing machines and with how much chocolate she had in her system, Destiny could dance all night! "What is a hitch hiker?" she asked, while jerking her thumb over her shoulder anyhow. Actually, she didn't care what a hitch hiker was. She didn't need to know what one was to do the dance.
After a few more thumb jerks and shimmies, she stopped moving, held her arms out in front of her and balled her hands into fists. "Hey! Have you ever seen this one?" Taking a few slow walking steps backwards, she started to move her hands like she was.. "I'm backing the bus up!"
Oh look, she was honking the horn now. "Beep, beep!"

Mia was so totally getting into the Hitch Hiker dance that she didn't even laugh when Destiny asked what a hitch hiker was. Obviously the girl didn't know very much about muggles. And she had just opened her mouth to tell her exactly what a hitch hiker was when the girl had changed to a different dance AGAIN.
And no, Mia had not seen that dance before but hey it looked cooled. She wondered if it was an actual dance or something that Destiny had just decided to make up? Either way Mia found herself copying the Slytherin's actions once again.
After doing a few laps of the dance floor going backwards as though she was 'backing a bus up' and 'beeping' the horn, Mia stopped and looked at Destiny with a grin.
"What about this one?"
She dropped to the floor and laid on her stomach, moving her legs up and down and sliding forward along the floor using her arms.
"It's called the worm."
Oh someone please stop these two.

Oh someone please stop these two. Destiny had to keep looking behind herself to make sure she didn't bump into anyone while 'backing the bus up.' It would probably hurt it they got hit..not that she was really a bus or anything, but not expecting to get hit..it would hurt. Hmm..she did know one person that she wouldn't mind bumping into and hurting, though. She would just have to keep this dance up until Noel and his date decided to dance. That girl..she was going down!!
OH! Another dance!
They were going to be dancing champions and she was waiting for someone to walk up to them and offer a dance off. Destiny and Mia..they would so win! The beeping and backing up stopped and as Mia dropped to the floor, Destiny thought she passed out from EXHAUSTION..but then she started moving and hearing the name of the dance, she burst into laughter. "AWESOME!" she exclaimed before, she too, dropped to the floor.
Good thing she had shorts on under her skirt.
Lying on her stomach, she moved in the worm like motion. Of course, being a chicken, she failed at being the worm. But, the dance was still fun! She'd have to practice to perfect it. Glancing over Mia for a second, wondering how long it took her to perfect this dance, she reminded Destiny of something else..not just a worm but.. "Stay on the floor!" she called out, and jumping to her feet she turned her body at an angle. Aiming her arm at Mia she slowly bent it at the elbow, and raised her wrist. With a quick flick, she brought up her other hand and started to 'reel' her in. "The fishing pole!"

Hmmmm, "Yes, true, I guess" but 'Nolan' was still much better than 'Reyn', though. Totally.
Sigh. "Well, that doesn't work in Quidditch" he chuckled, and it was sort of true, though, he's been meaning to ask Vindictus if the Harriers are still his favorite team or if he chose to support some other after he put his Pro career on hold. Yes, on hold, because he still believed that Vindictus could totally keep on playing Quidditch.
Ah, he noticed the frown, "Is okay, Ellie, you don't have to choose by next term" he said, with a smile, over the couple minutes they've discussed the different teams she'd be supporting as just one, and she always complained about not being able to support another one, perhaps she will never do so, perhaps she had to support all three? Yeah, we'll see about that. Ellie should watch the Arrows play this summer and make up her mind.
Oh, that's right. He was used to Melanie know who his sister was, and Miranda...oh, Miranda! Miranda would've left Hogwarts this year... "She's my sister" he said, with a nod, but no smile "And, yes, it is, well, I know I like that my dad is still connected to them somehow" the man's got a whole new life and all.
The boy laughed again, "No, trust me, no practice for me..." because he played Catcher on that ancient Quidditch class and he was just plain awful, so...no. "Really, though, sometimes you're just born to be good at one or two" if anyone could play all positions and be good in all of them then that could be the most coveted Quidditch player ever. "I know, though I'll be flying this summer" he knew that for sure, "And all because of the tournament...well, at least Fletcher won" it felt like Hufflepuff had won again, and Fletcher even had his own party. How awesome is that?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Tilly C. Richards First Year | Breee! Bluejay | Potatopop! | SRS - Stupid Ravenclaw Syndrome Bonnie had put make-up on - she was NOT allowing herself to cry as she knew she would do any minute noaaa after hearing the rather loud conversation between Jayce and Hayley. She didn't why she was more upset; the fact that Hayley ratted on her or the fact that Hayley's parents died. She knew the feeling all too well. Unfortunatly, she was hurt more then Hayley. Her parents well, her mom didn't want to leave her, her dad did.
And she couldn't help but feel that the craziness was being sucked out of her. It certanly felt like it. She played with her french plait, leaning against a pillar and thinking how much Vanilla and Hayley would approve of her leather boots. The Native American for the evening sipped her pumpkin juice and abondoned it on a table. She wanted to dance. She was sure that she would have to avoid her cousin. If Hayley wanted to talk with her, it was most likely that she would return to the room with a bleeding nose.
Then, she spotted her Flirtantorr. The jerk who started all of this crap. The idiot was made this the worst year ever. ...Her best friend. She would be able to survive without Jayce Cannon. After all, he would most likely choose Hayley over her, saying that he had loved Hayley and only Hayley from the beginning. But her pillow fighting buddy she would in NOOOOOOO way live without. The thought was just to frightening.
So, she walked over to her bestie, a smile forming on her face as she got closer and she found her craziness coming back and she jumped on his unsuspecting back. "Hey meh Flirantorrr." She pecked his cheek before sliding off his back. "Do your Crazed!Girl a favour?" She batted her eyelashes dramactically like all the other little girls were doing around him. "Will you give your bestie a dance? As fwiends of course, Becky." She imiated swooning at the idea and chuckled when she came back around. "But seriously, come give us a dance," she said, her tone firm but she recked it by smiling broadly.

She stood there, trying to digest the scant information he was letting slip.
No matter how much she loved him, it couldn't be clearer that the feeling was no longer mutual. A wave of sadness washed over her, to be replaced with a great feeling of pity.
"I'm not altogether sure you have grown up, Ling - any mature adult would be satisfied with multiple apologies and admissions of guilt and would be willing to let bygones be bygones. But not you, no sir. And what on earth d'you mean, 'change the world'? It doesn't need changing!"
Ling brushed away her comments as though they were dust in his hair. He needn't have listened to her altogether, but her indignation was kind of amusing. She was so sure of herself and he was tempted to laugh in her face. Why was he even here, having this idiotic conversation?
Ling really had nothing else to occupy himself at the moment. He had devoured nearly all of the books in the restricted section of the library so there were no new medieval curses to learn--those that he could practice on the frayed mannequin in his dorm. How he would have loved to test a few out on Emmy herself. She was so unbelievably irritating.
"No, that's where you're wrong." Ling murmured rudely. "Any mature adult can see that you're nothing but a pathetic guilt-tripper and you never actually mean what you say. You only repeat this whiny crap over and over so you feel better about yourself--it's not like you have any regards for the emotions of others around you. All that matters to Emmy is Emmy, right?" He snorted at her comment about changing the world. She hadn't picked up on his studies to be a dark wizard yet. "You would say something like that, you're so ignorant and you're content to be that way..." |

" I really thought I was yoru best male friend and you were my best female friend" Rex explained to Fee. " Am I wrong?' Rex asked her. Rex has really hurt feelings. Rubiey jumped when she heard another voice from behind her. She turned around from Fee, Edmond and Taylor to see Rex standing behind her. What in merlins beard was he talking about?! "Who said I didn't like you?" She asked, slightly hurt that he was accusing her of ignoring him. "I didn't hear you ask me to dance. Or Fee, either. We weren't ignoring you, but we didn't hear you." She said to him. She had been having a good time, but this was ruining it, and she wasn't happy about that at all.
