"What?",Fee said shocked.
She had ignored him? When? Nooo way.
"Rex i didnt ignore you",she shook her head,"you know i never would,please."

Why would she ignore her best friend? She really loved him as her bestie and would never want to hurt him.
Approaching him she wrapped him in a tight hug.
"Nooo you arent wrong",she told him still shocked,"of course you are my best friend.You are my glitter boy."

Why had people to be so loud that she didnt even hear her best friend asking for a dance?!
"I really didnt hear you",Fee sighed,"if the offer still counts,yes i want to dance?"
Please dont be hurt....This wasnt really brighten up her mood.She hated to see Rex like that.

Fee looked over at Rubies. She seemed as shocked as herself. This was just wrong.
"Riiight, the music is just too loud",she nodded in agreement.
Stupid music.Stupid peple talking too loud.

"Lets dance with Rex now?",Fee smiled trying to lighten the situation.
And wouldnt it be funny to dance wih her to besties?Ohhh yes it would.

This had been so much easier when she had been younger like at about six and her limbs were so much more flexible but still she was having a great time. Even though it felt like she had just slid through someone's spilled butterbeer.

Well she hoped it was only butterbeer.

Mia laughed as Destiny also dropped to the floor and started doing the worm as well. The two of them wriggling around on the floor really must have looked a sight.

Only the Slytherin didn't stay on the floor for long and she was back on her feet yelling for Mia to stay on the floor. She had better not being getting a camera or anything. Why this bothered Mia when everyone could see what she was doing anyway, she had no idea.

Looking up so that she could see what Destiny was doing, Mia burst out laughing and reached out with her hand as though she was catching the fishing line and somehow managed to wiggle herself forward towards Destiny.

This probably would have looked so more effective if Destiny had caught Neptune Bott seeing how she was the one dressed as a mermaid. When she had finally wiggled her way over to the other girl, Mia looked up and laughed.

"Oh look you've caught yourself a genie. You get one wish."

Can she get up off the floor now?

Leading the viking girl to the dance floor, the seeker grinned happily as he took his palce on the dance floor. Though he danced with her before, this time he was excited because now she was his girlfriend and everybody knew that. Yep, everybody did know that.

Still holding her hand he stopped in the middle of the dance floor and smiled at her. ''Are you ready, hun?'' the seeker asked wondering if she was excited like he was. She seemed to be excited but he could not read thoughts, could he? He wished he could and then he would be able to read... or...no thinking over it the boy decided that it would be a nice feature to be able to reading minds. He did not and would not care what other people thought all the time.

However he wondered if Evelyn loved him as much as he loved her since she had never openly expressed her emotions to him before, like he did in the Room of Requirement. He knew she would never agree to be his girlfriend if she did not love him but somehow Josh wanted to make sure of it. He was going to find a way to make her mention her feelings. Yes, he was.

Ellie nodded. Yup. True.

Wha? Her strategy doesn't work in Quidditch?! Well. She kept on pouting. It always worked. And down to it, she was for their whole country in the end. When the World Cup rolls through and all. So, why not just support multiple teams now? And PLUS you have a better chance of winning if you have more teams.

So then she smiled. "I don't have to choose? Good." Because that was not happening. No siree.

"Oh." Kaika, his sister. Right. Heh. So, she was like the rebel. Hehehe. She didn't smile, though. It was sad. Really cool. But sad. "Mhm. That's good he still gets to work for them. And I bet he loves taking you to games and such." Her dad loved taking her to games. And he wasn't even a former player. Just a fan. A family of fans.

Aww. "That's true. Some people are just born excellent at a position." Like with muggleborns who are brilliant. She always thought that that was so cool. And it kind of made her wonder whether, if she wasn't born playing, she'd be any good at all. But she was kind of a natural beater, no?

"Yeah. I didn't really think about the cancellation of Quidditch because of the Tournament. This time last term, I was so excited for it." She didn't know that she'd be bored with all her free time. But, it wasn't too bad in the end. She felt so sorry for the people like Nia. And it was so sad that they'd never be able to play together again. She was the best captain.

"True. I'm so proud of him." she smiled. That kind of made it worth it. They were a part of a historic event, even just in the stands. And their school won. It was amazing. An amazing year.

Selena frowned. "But someone can be tough and a complete peabrain and not get the role," she pointed out. Plus it would be kinda awesome if Diggy did get Quidditch Captainn.

She was completely nervous now, why did he make this seem like such a bad thing. She was worried, did he not like her anymore? She relaxed a bit when he said that everything was fine but for some reason she was still nervous. He took out a tiny little box and Selena was quiet.

Her heart was racing and she was pretty sure that was all she could hear and she was panicking! Why was she panicking? She felt so nervous as she looked at the little box. "I..." she started, her mouth felt dry and some tears seemed to be pricking at her eyes and she knew that they were tears of joy. "Thank you," Selena practically whispered as a tear slipped from her violet eyes. Her hand reached up slowly and she picked it up, looking at it with a mixture of happiness, lovestruckness, and shock.

"What and who are both right, Rufus is my Pygmy Marmoset." Jimmy answered as soon as he had his breath. "He's just little, but he had curse damage to his shoulder so he's not strong enough to survive in the wild. I'm training him up to do things. He's my buddy." James grinned at this and when the music changed, led her into a slightly faster step, though not enough to take away breath and destroy conversation.

BROWS. O RLY?

"Yeah. Apologies... are distracting... when they're, you know, sincere." He could go for apologies. And relaxation. And Marie. Hehe. She was fun. It'd be nice to get to know her better too, he figured. Wouldn't be so bad to be friends too.

"Thanks. You're doing alright yourself." Jimmy told her and kept on dancing.

Neptune laughed at Raiden. He didn't KNOW anything, and probably wouldn't follow even if she did shed every dirty detail. The good news was that he'd obviously not read that ugly Aparecium article. "It's nothing you should worry about. In fact, it's not something I should worry about. Look at me," Neptune took up Raiden's hand and made him SPIN her a few times. "I'm a gorgeous mermaid with very attractive pirate as a date -- and I'm making EVERYONE jealous by keeping you for this long out here on the floor."

Probably including his date, the Prefect. Oopsie. GIGGLE.

Reeling her in, reeling her in.

As she was 'reeling' in Mia, Destiny had to refrain from saying 'I caught a big one!' Some people might take offense to that, and not knowing the Hufflepuff that well, she didn't know how she would take it. Not knowing didn't stop her from saying it in her head though.

Which was what she was doing.

Laughing not giggling as Mia started wiggling her way over, like she really was on a fishing line, Destiny started to reel her in even faster. She had another awesome dance to show, buuuut, hearing what was said when she was close enough made her forget about the dance altogether.

OMG SHE GETS A WISH!

Her face contorting into one of EXCITEMENT, she knew EXACTLY what she wanted to wish for. Only, wishing for Noel's date's head to really be chopped off so she could play a little game of head football was sorta mean, and Destiny was not mean..right. Not bothering to tell Mia to get up since really, it wasn't like she was caught in a net, just a line, she decided to wish for something even better than that girl losing her head..

"IWISHFORLOTSANDLOTSOFCHOCOLATE!!" And after screaming that to Mia!Genie, Destiny flailed her arms HIGH above her head and started running around in a circle.

If Mia knew best, she would not grant that girl the wish.

" Sorry, I did not know you did not hear me" Rex told Rubiey. "I did not mean to ruin your night" Rex said to Rubiey. " Can we please still be friends?" Rex asked Rubiey. "Again, i am really, really sorry about everything" Rex explained to Rubiey.

" Ok, I guess you could not hear me, either" Rex told Fee. " i am sorry I got upset with you" Rex said to Fee. "Well, I love being yoru best male friend and sparkly boy" Rex explained to Fee. He hugged her back. " Thanks, I would love to dance with you and Rubiey, too" Rex laughed.

Maybe she shouldn't have said anything about the whole wish thing. The look on Destiny's face had Mia WISHING that she had kept her mouth shut.

How was she supposed to grant the girl a wish when she couldn't even perform the simplest of spells without setting something on fire. But how could she deny Destiny anything especially when she looked so excited.

Mia finally got up off the floor and brushed herself off and eww she was all sticky from whatever had been spilled on the floor. It looked as though she was going to have to visit the 'powder room' again. Or maybe she should back to her dorm and get changed. She wasn't passed getting in her PJ's at this point.

She was still trying to wipe off the sticky mess when Destiny started yelling something about chocolate. Mia's head snapped up and looked at the girl in mild alarm as she started running around in circles with her arms waving around her head.

Even though she had no problems in getting the girl some chocolate, Mia had a feeling that it might be a bad idea.

"Er...haven't you already had some chocolate? I mean you are still wearing half of it on your face."

Yeah she had noticed.

Grin. "It is good. More than good. It's brilliant!" he exclaimed, and then another circling around, "I suppose he does, I know I do" true, though, at some point during the match his dad had to work. Representatives, you know...they also work when the team is at work. "Who takes you to games?" she was pureblood, it could be either her mother or her father...or an uncle or something?

Exactly. "Yes, some people do, but I also know of a few that weren't even great fliers yet they practiced so much that became great players" unimportant people, the names were also unimportant.

"At least we know Vindictus will have his Pitch for Quidditch next term" smile! "That's something to look forward to" because he still had no OWLs to worry about, so all he could do is think about tryouts, and...not get on Saylen's way.

Treyen...blinked. "You are?" wasn't she a Raiden supporter?

"Maybe." Ellie said. She wasn't about to make any promises. As far as she knew, she loved her top three teams equally.

She grinned. "I don't see how anyone could not enjoy going to a game." They were so thrilling! And exciting! And all other synonyms of the word! "I go to games with my dad. Occasionally my godfather, as well." Yup.

Wait. She was confused. Didn't he just say that he couldn't practice. So...other people could? And.. Well. "Yeah. I've heard that too." Best to just agree and forget, ay?

"Yes!" Excited was sooo not the word. She wanted Quidditch back so bad. And it would be next term! Yay! Tryouts weren't even on her mind, though. It didn't really occur to her that she'd need to try out again. All she could think about was playing again. And winning this time around.

She nodded. "I am. Why wouldn't I be?" Of course she was proud of the Hogwarts champion. Even though she didn't know him too well.

Why she was running around in a circle, she had no idea, but it was Destiny and Destiny didn't need a reason to do the things she did. She just hoped she didn't get..dizzy. Dizzy Destiny? That would NOT be good, especially with all the chocolate she had consumed. Poor Mia! She had no idea what she had gotten herself into coming over to dance with her.

"CHOCOLATECHOCOLATECHOCOLATECHOCOLATECHOCOLATECHOC OLATECHOCOLATECHOCOLATE."

When she heard Mia speak, Destiny stopped her chocolate crazed whisper rant, and slowed her running down to a walk. Her arms..still flailing above her head. It was like once they started waving they just couldn't stop. Oh well. She hadn't hit anyone in the face with them..yet.

FROWN!

Mia was sounding like Evelyn with her pointing out that she had chocolate on her face. Did anyone ever stop to think she wanted the chocolate there? No, didn't think so! "It's not chocolate, it's a moustache. I am Shamrock." Or..whoever that dude Carter said she was.

She forget already, but really, it was chocolate.

Fiiiine. He'll let it go.

Wellllll, "I could think of someone who'd rather stay put for a Quidditch game..." he said, and looked around for a moment, "...Dodson" he didn't even venture to the Stands. And Treyen could start on the whole 'Weird dude' thing, but he actually was very grateful to the man, after all, it had been him who lent him the book about trees.

Dad, and godfather. Got it.

She looked...confused? What about? "It all depends on how bad you want it, I think" and he didn't feel like being a Chaser, he didn't even consider Quidditch as a career. Why try so hard when it wasn't on your mind?

Ah, man, she really wanted Quidditch back. Awesome!

She was closer to him, and with his hand in hers and the other on her waist, that meant it was her turn. Rae placed the other hand on his upper arm, this was how you did it right? At her date's pun/comment, Rae smirked, but it turned into a soft smile.. That was cheesy, but totally alright tonight.

They started to move, to turn and Rae tried her best not to step on him and actually dance. It wasn't so bad once they started, she just kinda flowed with it once they were already going. "You know, I consider you my best friend and more and I never knew you could dance." Then again it wasn't one of their daily activities was it?

Ooh. Ellie was all ears. Who didn't like Quidditch? She'd put 'em straight. They just didn't know what they were missing.. Dodson? "What? Really? Why?" Questions! There were lots and lots of questions! And she'll HAVE to have a word with him. She might not know him that well, but he'd better come to her game next term. HPMH.

Ellie nodded. That actually did make a whole bunch of sense. If you wanted something bad enough, you could obtain it. "I agree." Nod, nod. But it was a shame he didn't want to practice chaser. That was a fun position. You were always busy. Though, she most definitely liked beater best.

Twirl! Yay! The twirls made her smile.

If that girl didn't stop running around in circles like that she was going to end up puking all over the place and Mia for one did not want to be covered in vomit. She already had some sort of brown sticky stuff down her front.

Destiny had finally stopped running and chanting. Actually now that Mia thought about it, the girl would probably fit right in at the commune especially when they had their little monthly festivals. They did a lot of running around and chanting there as well.

Noticing the frown on the girls face, Mia quickly held up her hands. "Okay, okay I'll get you some chocolate." She did say that she would grant her a wish and if that wish was chocolate then who was she to deny Destiny what she wanted.

Before pulling out her wand, Mia looked Destiny up and down. "You don't look anything like a three leafed clover." She shrugged her shoulders and faced the food table, she raised her wand and in the most confidence voice she could muster. "Accio chocolate!"

To her utter surprise, Mia could see a bowl speeding it's way towards them and was rather pleased with herself until she realised she didn't know how to stop the bowl either. And when it was a few feet away the bowl tipped over and its contents flew out and smacked both she and Destiny in the face with...

...

JELLY!!!

Whups.

Although she had asked for chocolate for some reason she was thinking of jelly at the same time she cast.

But that didn't really matter right now because both she and Destiny were now covered in a rainbow of sticky, slimy jelly.

YES! The frown had worked! It had worked better than Destiny had thought it would, too. She just thought Mia was going to send her off on her way, but NOPE! She was going to be nice enough and get it for her. Like a house elf, Mia was!

Three leafed clover? Say what!? She was not..

She must not speak muggle either, since she was obviously just as confused. Didn't matter to Destiny, though, she was going to get her CHOCOLATE and that was ALL that mattered! Dropping her arms from above her head and holding out her hands, she wiggled her fingers as Mia went and drew her wand. Now, she just had to wait for the bowl of chocolate to come zooming into her very dirty and greedy hands.

Dirty..she was just doing the worm on the DIRTY floor. She didn't go around..playing in dirt or anything..yeah.

Glancing in the direction of the food table, she watched in amazement as a bowl came speeding towards them. At that very moment she realised that she forgot the spell that actually made things that were summoned slow down. Wait..did she even learn a spell like that? Well, even if she did, it would not have helped them anyway. The bowl seemed to tip over on it's own accord, and before she even had a chance to open her mouth and try to catch the 'chocolate', she was hit!

Hit square in the face! It wouldn't have been too bad if she was hit with chocolate but that stuff..it was jelly.

"Sweet Merlin!" she exclaimed, both hands reaching up and clutching at her now very sticky face. "I am HIT!"

And for about the fifth time this term, Destiny Shepard fell back to the ground..

..dead.

A monkey? James had a monkey? "Aww, you have a itty, bitty monkey?" That was so cute. To look at the boy you would never think of him to be the kind of person to have such a pet. Well at least she wouldn't have thought that. "That's so sweet of you to take care of him. What kind of things are you training him to do?" Like seriously, what could you train something so little to do? Unless he meant training as in getting his strength back in that bad shoulder of his. "Will I get to see him someday?"

Did he think her apologies to him weren't sincere? Maybe she needed to show him that they were. Yeah, that's exactly what she was going to do.

She stopped dancing... because really, it wasn't easy to apologize properly when moving around like they were. Putting her arms back around his neck she leaned in and started to gently kiss him. First on the neck, then on the cheek, then on the lips. She then pulled away and looked him in the eyes. "Sorry."

How's that for sincere?

"Yeah, a monkey, Mia and I decided it'd make sense. Wanted something different and unique but still awesome, with a personality and all," Jimmy looked around casually in an attempt to spot the Hufflepu... err... what was she...? And Marie's friend too...? He glanced at Marie and then at the messsy girls. Errr. Should he offer... assistance?

He cleared his throat.

"... do you two need a hand?" Or a towel.

He glanced at Marie again, having not let her go even if they'd stopped dancing. "To fetch things. To distract people." Fun things like that. "And of course you will, assuming you like the idea of spending more time with me after tonight." Grin.

He was caught a touch off guard at the... sincerity, yeah, the sincerity of her err... apology. So much so that he blinked a few times once she'd released him and managed, "...You're forgiven. Merlin." Grin. Reluctantly he turned his attention back to the jelly girls, but didn't let go of Marie.

Continuing to follow Josh, hand in his, the excitement grew and grew with each step they took to find a nice spot on the dance floor.

She could not take her eyes off him. Either it was what he was wearing, or just him in general, or BOTH actually now that she looked thought about it, but it was almost hypnotizing in a way. However, with something zooming past her head, and thankfully not hitting it, the Slytherin looked around to see what the heck it was.

Oh. Bwahaha! Those two definitely were not the luckiest in the world were they. What the heck were they covered with? Jam? Or something else...

Meep! Those two unlucky people weren't important anymore.

What was important was that Josh called her hun. NO! No, they were dancing. That's what was important. And being close to him. And just being, utterly happy at the moment. "Of course! Dancing...it runs through my veins." Well, more like it was forced into there at a young age, but it was still there. "Are you ready?"

He should be because she actually liked the song being played now.

Licking the jelly off her lips, Mia was quite stunned for a moment. For two reasons. One, being that she actually successfully summoned something. She had never managed to do that before. And two, she was standing there in the middle of the great hall covered in jelly.

For the love of Merlin, please don't let Nikolai be seeing this.

Turning to see if Destiny was alright, Mia blinked a couple of times.

Where did she go?

She looked down to see the girl on the floor.

What the...?

Leaning over, Mia didn't know whether to laugh or be concerned about her friend. She reached out with her finger and poked her a couple of times in the ribs.

At the sound of Jimmy's voice, Mia felt relief wash over her. "Um...she got hit in the face with some jelly and now she's..."

Mia wasn't sure exactly what was wrong with Destiny.

"Maybe we should call Fletcher over. He'd have her cleaned up in no time."

Or maybe the TWT champion only likes three day old food.

Emmy hated to admit it, but his replies stung her, hurting right to the core of her very being.
The worst thing was, he was partially right - and he himself had helped her to be able to see herself properly. However, that did nothing to undermine the fact that most of his words seemed to be coming out of his-

"You should have been a damn Slytherin. Does belittling other people make you feel better about yourself? Because it certainly looks that way - after all, you never stop! Or maybe it's just me you like talking down to and abusing. Do you enjoy it?" she looked up at him, unsure how to feel. If she carried on as she was, he would just keep needling her, and if she retaliated, she would inadvertantly prove his most treasured theory right...

What a way to die! Death by jelly! And everyone told her it was the unhealthy stuff that would kill her. Well, Destiny just proved everyone wrong, and if she wasn't dead at the moment, she would have run to the owlery and wrote a letter home to her mother.

But dead people can't write and they don't own owls..

Hearing someone speak, though, she peeked open an eye and when she saw who was speaking, she closed it real fast. Like she would want a hand from the Violator. Made no sense.

She'd just ignore him..because she was dead.

Not the poking!! Anything but the poking!

As Mia went and poked her in the ribs, Destiny started to squirm away..which was much easier now that the floor was covered in jelly and..she was not cleaning up the mess! Maybe if she left it there, she'd get lucky and Noel's date would walk in it and slip!

But that was mean, so she wasn't really thinking that..but..she really was.

Still squirming away from the poking, because there was nothing strange about a dead person squirming, her eyes POPPED open at what Mia said to the Violator. No way! That was just..EWW! Fletcher with the swishy hair was not going anywhere near her, no thank you.

Sitting up, she stretched her arms up over her head. "It's a MIRACLE! I'm alive!"

And still covered in jelly. Eww.
