Dance Floor After you eat, grab a partner and take to the dance floor. The music charms will play some of your favorite tunes all night long. |
The party. Let's start it. wroo wroo~! Feeling quite spiffy in his pirate costume, and therefore not caring what anyone else thought of it, Kellen led Neptune onto the dance floor. There would be lots of other boys who spent the evening pretending dancing was uncool, but again, Kellen was set to have a good time and therefore didn't care. He also kept sneaking glances at Neptune's costume. Neptune as a mermaid was infinitely more appealing than the ones that lived out in the lake. Not... that he'd say that to their faces. Once they were out there, he held her right hand in his left, and put his hand on her waist. This was also why he'd opted out of the pirate hook; dancing with a hook-covered hand would be weird. He sent her a very large smile, "Would you like to pick the song?" The charms just... worked that way, right? |
Youtube: Waltz Disney Amelie valse Neptune Bott would have bowed to Kellen before the music began, but her skirty/tail was sort of awkward. But it LOOKED AWESOME, and she sort of doubted Kellen would ever even notice. .... giggle. Even SHE could forget it in favor of staring at his hat. Mr. Stern had said pirate, making Neptune believe he'd come in a ratty tee shirt and cut off pants. Boy had SHE been surprised. She squeezed his hand when the music began and waited for him to start them off. "Will you be alright in those boots? They're sort of like high heels to you, I imagine." Giggle. |
nice pick! Quote:
He had noticed the entirety of Neptune's costume, actually. And had plenty of time to look it over as he'd The music started, and he guided her into the first steps of the waltz, "Clearly, you aren't familiar with the dress code of my old school." Or the get-up his sisters screech-pleaded with him to wear whenever they were playing make-believe. These boots were not going to be a problem. |
Rex is wearing his suit and tie. He is waiting for Daisy to show up to the dance, |
Chloe the Great Hall in her Hit girl cstume which she put to gether herself minus the weapons ofcourse. She liked her diffrerent outfit. She knew most girls would not go this extreme but she just loved it. She did not have a date but that was no matter to her. She just came to have a good time and regardless she was gonna do just that. She entered the dance floor and started to dance to a rather awesome upbeat song. If someone wanted to join hershe would not refuse but if not she was still gonna have a good time. |

Giggle. "No... I can't say that I am. Did you wear knee high boots and giant hats there, KellyBear?" Neptune had her doubts, but Kellen HAD surprised her before. And to be honest, she was a little surprised by his dancing. Kellen Stern KNEW the steps and DID do them well, boots and hat and ALL. In fact, he was maybe a little better than her in her current mermaid-y get-up. |

Maybe Neptune's dance stride wasn't as long as it would have been with a different dress, but Kellen just shortened his own steps to match. The last thing either of them wanted was for one of them to look out of place while dancing. "So?" He raised an eyebrow at her, "I've noticed that your version of a mermaid is much prettier than one would expect, considering the ones that live close by." |

SCOFF. "You didn't REALLY think I'd come as one of those ugly, scaled green things that live in that algae infested lake did you?" DID HE? Neptune missed a few steps at the IDEA of such nonsense. "I'm a storybook mermaid." DUHHHH. "The sort that would trade in her fins for a handsome, available prince....," Neptune was doing her faraway daydreaming voice. Hogwarts had a serious shortage of Princes. "... or maybe a pirate in a big hat." Giggle. |

HmmmMMMM? He grinned at her hat comment and teased, "That's the second time you've mentioned my rather glorious hat. I'm starting to think you like it more than me." |

Yes. Yes she had. She didn't answer, because the answer was absolutely. Complete with tacky parrot. Ew. La la la moving on and pretending to not hear the question! "It's just very different. I'm more accustomed to your usual.... hair." And usual Kellen for that matter. "You sort of DO have the Prince look after all, you know? Just an unconventional one. Suits you." Neptune was pretty sure she'd seen a boy dressed as a banana.... so... this was better. Even if she HAD tried to get Kellen to come as a carrot.... |
agreed! good choice in song! Seeing as she was too nervous to eat, Kurumi slowly made her way to the dance floor. She saw the other couples dancing and smiled, mostly to herself. Everyone looked amazing in their costumes. She felt a little shy about the short skirt and red heels she was wearing, but surprisingly felt confident over all -SHOCK!- She had taken nearly an hour trying to get her long black hair to have just a slight tinge of violet and had finally gotten it to do so. Somehow, her eyes seemed even brighter in her sailor fuku. Somehow, in pretending to be someone else she was becoming more confident with herself. Go figure. She began swaying back and forth in rhythm to the music and threw in a few twirls here and there. She probably looked silly twirling around by herself with her red skirt flipping up, but she was enjoying the moment. Adam would be arriving soon...they wanted to keep each other's costumes a surprise until now. Yet, she had a feeling he was coming as a Jedi. |

Yeah, that's what I thought. Kellen shifted his head back and forth, making the brim of the hat wobble from side to side, "Sometimes switching things up is a good thing. For example," he nodded at her hair, "usually you have your hair down, but it looks really pretty when you wear it up like that." He liked this trading of compliments; good feelings all around, "An unconventional prince? I can live with that." With a smile and a slight squeeze of her hand, Kellen picked up the waltz once more. |
Heather!? Where! Quote:
"Adam?" she asked peering closer to his face "Phew! It is you. I almost didn't recognize you," she blushed. "You look very...heroic." She gave him a hug and, woah, what was that? Oh! A shiny toy? |
He thinks Kurumi is Heather- the costume is throwing him off Quote:

Ladies and gentlemen.. announcing the awesome.. Captain Canada! Of course Captain Canada needed an entrance and Hailey was going to give the people what was needed here; she wanted to draw attention to herself and her costume alone was going to do that cause she was awesome enough to represent her home country, it was a brilliantly amusing costume for anyone to see. Colour coordinated with red and white from head to toe, she walked onto the dance floor and started dancing; the only thing missing from this costume was a cape but that would have been a massive challenge for her to move around in since she wanted to dance without tripping over and making a huge spectacle out of herself. Nevertheless making a huge spectacle of herself was what she actually came here to do, she removed a folded up Canadian flag from her pocket and tied it around her like a cape, now she was truly Captain Canada. Dancing never exactly came easy to her since she was a hockey player, and there was no real dancing in hockey; at least she managed to stay on her feet.. most of the time. |
this is so reminding me of Beauty and the Beast lolz Quote:

Edmond waited for Feenella. He was extremely nervous, like really nervous that he was getting a bit dizzy, but he still looked good. He was glad that his father (yes his father) helped him choose the costume. He scanned the dancing area and swayed a bit with the music and held on to Fee's present in his hand. |
Adam's hand on Kurumi's hip XD Quote:
