Oh, no, no pouting. This was Quidditch they were talking about. "Let me ask you something..." he began saying, but twirled her around slowly before moving on, "...if the Arrows are playing against the Harpies, who will you be rooting for the entire game?" he said, with a firm nod, "And don't say both, because when you're in the game, your mind or your heart will choose one of them" without further notice, it will happen, you will be left with only one team to support. That's why he didn't bother to root for someone other than Fletcher, because in the end, no matter how much he wanted Hogwarts to win, his mind was set on supporting one and only one.
And then his eyes widened, "You didn't just say that...the prettiest uniforms?" he burst out laughing, "You support a team based on how pretty their uniforms are?" like, really? Surely, Ellie was a girl and was entitled to do so, but she was a girl who knew about Quidditch and played amazingly well too. "I'm not making fun of you, I'm just..." he couldn't find the word, "...this is the first time I've heard something like that" he said, shaking his head.
And then he twirled her again, "They are, ever since I can remember I have supported the Appleby Arrows" it only helps even more that he moved to Appleby when he started Hogwarts.
"About the ice cream, I wouldn't know...I haven't gone there yet, remember?" so, all the questions could be answered after he made the trip, if he did "You may ask Professor Hadley if you're very curious about it" and the Professor would most likely have an answer.
If he's okay with it? Hmm.
"Well, we'll find out soon enough." Because one day, Ellie WILL call him that. And she will see his reaction. But no matter what, she'll always refer to him as Reyn.
Twirl!
Oh. No. Ellie bit her lip.
"Err..." she hesitated. She didn't wanna pick.
"I wouldn't know until the heat of the moment." It would depend on the whole season. And who was closest to the championship. And the stats of the season. And all that technical stuff.
"I can't just pick now."
She smiled.
"I've liked them only because of their robes since I was little. Purple's my favorite color, you know." Fun fact.
"They're not bad either."
Hehe.
"Aww." He's supported them since he was little? She had a mental image of Little Treyen waving that blue and silver flag. Hehe.
"I could ask Hadley." Yeah. Maybe she would. She wouldn't be able to ask her which was better, though. That would be an opinion. And if she wanted facts, she'd have to compare them herself.
She'd have to write home after the ball. Italy seemed like the place to visit this summer.
