Sadie, wearing her old west saloon girl costume, walked into the Great Hall and realized that she was totally early. Only a few people were here and there. The blond couldn't deny that she loved this costume. It had every feature she could ever ask for. Smiling with the thought of how great she looked, she walked to find an empty table and sighed looking around.

Did she really want to sit down yet?

Hello awkwardness. So she decided to stand, leaning against her chair a bit and taking out her phone which managed to sneak into a pocket she had charmed on her dress. Look up. No one. Darn it. Look back down.

Grace perched on the very edge of her chair, wanting to lean back and be more comfortable. She couldn't, though, because the wings made it really uncomfortable. Stupid costume. She glanced around, her eyes scanning the small seating area looking for someone she knew. Although she didn't particularly want to be recognised in this monstrosity of a costume. Blech, she was certainly no angel, so she didn't see why she had to dress as one. Blame her mother.

Kita entered the Great Hall, one hand holding part of the skirt of her dress and the other hand holding her mask. She made her way to one of the seating areas and sat down.

She loved costumes! And even though hers wasn't exactly original, considering the fact that so many people had come looking Cinderella-ish, she loved the fact that she was able to dress up in a princess-y way. She could almost hear her mother's voice saying, 'every girl has a little princess inside who wants to come out every so often'.

She smiled as she looked around at everyone else's costumes. Everyone looked great! And they were so much more original than her. Hogwarts and costumes! These people really knew how to look great.

He gave her a slight bow, "Thank you." It was the best thing he heard all night to be honest.

He nodded and walked over toward the small cluster of tables set against one of the walls but in full view of the entire ballroom. He sat the plates down and pulled out Selena's chair for her. "Ma lady," he said gesturing for her to sit.

Walking in his eyes drifting around at everyone, he looks for his Ellie. He hadn't seen her in a few days and he was missing her again. When he heard a ball was planned, he couldn't wait! He could twirl her in his arms dancing around the floor with her.

If only...he could find her.

Selena smiled from behind the pink, girly helmet and followed him to the tables. He pulled out her chair and smiled again. A person could just smile so much. "Thank you," she said as she took a seat.

Selena pulled the helmet thingy off her head and sighed, happy to get the pink thingy off her head. Plus she couldn't exactly eat through this thingy. She set the helmet down on her lap. "Wow... this term... it passed by so fast," she said.

Ohhhhh yes, she looked FINE. Then again Savannah Conrad ALWAYS looked fine so she looked MEGA!fine. The blonde's eyes wandered around the hall, her legs crossed as she waited for Lori to show up. Savvy neeeeeeeeded to find her date! She needed her fairy of sillyness.GIGGLE!Snort.

Sav tapped the heel of her red Kate Spade shoes on the ground. Where WAS her Puff at? *sigh*

Aiden wandered throughout the seating area, checking out the tables to see which of his friends were claiming seats instead of groooving out on the dance floor. He grinned when he spotted a blondie sailor girl and pulled his plastic sword from his belt. Perfecto.

Coming up from behind, he grabbed her shoulder and put the edge of it against her throat. "That's it! Hostage number one - check."

Mwahah.

He winked but behind the mask the gesture was doomed to fail and he realized to late that she couldn't see his face.

He took off his mask too and sat down. He looked around at everything through unobstructed eyes. Everything looked great. Especially Selena, but he tried to keep from staring at her in case she got a complex or something. "Yeah it did go by fast. Its like one day we were having the opening feast and then the next minute the term is over. Now all we have to do is figure out how to enjoy our summer." He was keen on the summer holidays. He missed his twin something terrible. JoJo was really busy with all his course work so he hardly had time to talk to Diggy, that hurt but he understood.

"You are SO retarded."Savannah said shaking her head as she realized who it was. She knew the voice from anywhere. It was Chevalier. Hehh. She turned her head looking back at him, examining his costume. "300 guy, right?"Savannah said, looking at him. Yeah, Orlando had forced her and Nekoda to watch that movie with him because apparently it had cool graphics. Pfffft, Savannah just liked the hot guys without shirts which lead to her next question...

"Aren't you supposed to like not wear a shirt?"Savannah said her brow still raised. Yeah, yeah guys in 300 didn't wear shirts which meant HE wasn't in a very good costume. SNORT. That is, if he WAS a 300 guy but the silly hat kind of gave it away. "I'm a sailor....obviously."BEAM.Didn't she look hot? She rested a hand on her hip, smirking and beaming all at once.

This term had definitely flew by. "In a wink of an eye everything changed," she said. The seasons flew and now it was Spring again. Summer... what was she doing for summer again? Ah... no idea. "Looking forward to summer time?" she asked. Of course he would, his whole family was probably missing him.

Selena sighed. "April showers brings May flowers," she said randomly.

Pfffft.

Savannah obviously couldn't appreciate his brilliant tactics! No matter. At least she got the costume. "Yes! 300," he nodded. Best movie everrrrrrrr. Well..... not ever ever, but it was a good one. And then she put down his costume cause he wasn't shirtless like they were in 300.

"Well..... going the shirtless route didn't quite seem appropriate, so I went with this." Mhmmmmm. He gave a smile when she told him what she was supposed to be dressed as. "I figured," he said, glancing at her costume. "What made you choose a sailor?" And where was this glitterfreak's glitter?

Diggy nodded. "Yeah I am. JoJo's been real busy with school and he wasn't home for Christmas so I didn't get to see him. But he's going to be home for the summer." And he was looking forward to getting into trouble with his twin again. Next year they were both going to be adults and like his sister Paris always told him. 'You can't be a kid forever Diggy' In her annoying Paris grownup voice. "Are you doing anything for the summer?" he asked. Other than spending time with me, he thought.

He looked up as she signed. "Something wrong?" he asked her as he dug into the pumpkin pie.

Selena smiled. "That's nice, don't cause too big of a mess though," she said, teasing him about that last part. Diggy and JoJo together would be quite funny and a handful. Selena thought about it. "Hmm... I think I'm going to Ireland," she said as she actually thought about it. "Me and my cousin Lily-Rose are going to hang over at the castle there..." she said.

Selena shook her head, her eyes wide. "No, what? Why?" she asked.

A wicked grin danced across his brown face, "I won't cause that big of a mess," he told her. And he wasn't going to cause that big of a mess. But who definition of big were they using. He nodded, "Ireland is nice. Its really green there." He had only been the one time. With his aunts Ireland and Irish ironically. "Is that all you're going to be doing?" he asked.

He looked at you, "You just sighed really big like you were thinking about something heavy." he told her around a mouthful of pumpkin pie.

Evan, in his elf costume, entered the seating area a little bit nervously, as he looked around for familiar faces. He couldn't believe himself that he didn't see Iris and ask her out. Well, more correctly, couldn't. He had been studying for his OWLs recently, and stuff had always put him off until the ball time. And here he was, looking for her. If she had a date? He had no idea. He would hang out alone. Everything's cool.

Finding an empty table, he looked around again. Pfft, no one familiar yet. Maybe it would be more effective to look at dancing-area...

Selena laughed at that. "How big of a mess is your definition of small?" she asked, because they obviously had different meanings when it came to the amount of trouble they were going to cause. "Yeah, it is, I've been there several times," she said. Thinking about it again, she shrugged. "I don't know, Ireland, Italy with my father for a week... the States for a bit then back here for the last few weeks?" she guess. And then stuck in more parties and gatherings and stuff like that. "And visiting my Auntie Kat," she added.

Selena smiled and shook her head. 'Oh no, you're just going to be leaving after next term, nothing bad... nope, nothing at all...' she thought to herself. "Of course not, nothing at all," she said as she took a bite of pie. "How's the pie?" she asked.

After having a lovely chat with the kid in the superhero costume, Iris rushed off to another part of the hall. She was still looking for someone she knew. Possibly someone she could dance with.

Oooh. Moar tables? Surely, this meant more people?! Which means that there is probably the likeliness that she KNOWS someone overhere!

Quickly scaping through all the people (being quite glad for the pointe shoes and her growth spurt. Being nearly 6 feet tall helps looking over a crowd of people, apparently.) Iris grinned when she saw someone she recognised. Not too long ago, she'd have escaped to get away from him. But either way, it's someone she knows.

Grinning, the prefect skipped over to Evan, with the many layers of tulle and the rainbow coloured ribbons floating along behind her. "Hulloooooooo...." The girl stopped right infront of him, stood with her hands behind her back; sounding all very cheerful. She just hoped he wasn't too alarmed by the face paint and glitter...

Iris looked the boy up and down. An elf... SERIOUSLY?! "An elf?" She asked, pointedly.

Evan was eyeing the people on the dance floor when he heard a rather familiar face. Smiling as he returned, his smile died away when he took in all of her clothes and make up. If it wasn't for the voice, he would have had a hard time recognising her, because...

..."You look stunning," he managed to mutter after a few seconds' staring in shock and amazement. He didn't even hear her question, he was too into her... beauty. She was obviously a beautiful girl, but he didn't know that she was this pretty.

Then, when his brain finally started to function, he got up himself and offering his hand, he invited her to the table. "I was looking for you," he finally said as he gathered some of his ideas at last. "Before the party, I mean. But you were nowhere to be found." Could she guess that he wanted to ask her out? Probably. That would make things easier.

Binkblink...

Iris looked at Evan with a slightly suprised look when he just stared at her... He seemed very, very suprised and shocked. Why? Had she smudged the paint? Nuuu, she'd fixed it with Magic... So... why was he looking at her like that? When he finally spoke up, Iris smiled sheepishly. "Oh! Uh... Thanks, Evan."

The prefect blushed lightly, from how he spoke the compliment. It wasn't just an empty compliment because he decided she was expecting it... He really meant it. Iris could see that much. "You look very... Uh..." WHAT do you use to describe an elf?! "...very... interesting." That was a... kind enough compliment... right?

Smiling at the boy when he stood up and offered her hand, Iris wondered how it was that this Evan hid underneith the Evan that she used to insult all the time. They were completely different Evans... Nodding with a small smile, Iris sat down at the table. She folded her ankles over each other, being careful not to catch the wings on her shoes.

As Evan spoke up, Iris looked at him with her eyebrows raised. "Oh? Really?" He'd been looking for her? Well, she could honestly say that she'd not been expecting him to say that. The prefect's cheeks turned a little pink, "Um... Yeah. I've been a bit of a hermit recently. What with OWL revision and my Prefect duties..."

Evan responded her smile with his own, though his was more of from his mind now, not coming from the shock. He actually grinned when she defined him as interesting. "Thanks, Iris!" he said back. That was a proper definition for an elf. And he obviously couldn't compare to her beautifulness. A fair compliment, and he accepted it merrily.

He looked expectantly at her to see if she understood why he could have possibly looked for her, but when he couldn't see that sparkle--or blush, in that sense--he decided to explain it himself. Pfft. He sometimes hated being a boy, even if this was being totally friendly. A little annoying voice told him last year was supposed to be friendly too, with Mina, but things turned out entirely different. Of course, this year there was no way things could end differently. Relief.

Was that a hint of pink? Still, he felt the urge to ask her out properly, even if this was absolutely friendly. "So, this is obviously very late, but, would you like to be my partner for the ball?" He chuckled. "Totally friendly, of course."

Tori arrived in her cherry blossom kimono, her face done white as she was a Geisha. Chop sticks held her hair up in an intricate up sweep. She sat at the nearest table to wait for Joe who hadn't arrived yet.

Hrrrrmph. Customising this fairy outfit to hold a pot of glitter had been HARD. And so she merely had sewn a leaf shaped pouch to the skirt, and it blended in perfectly. Apart from the bit of the pot your could see, and the multicoloured glitter that it held.

She was now a glitter!flower!fairy! And she was cool. So people were expected to be jealous. Not just of her costume. But of her SHOES! Heck, they were nice. Hehe. Not being modest about her shopping skills or nothing

She flounded past a few people and GIGGLED, for the fact that some costumes deserved a giggle, because they were that MARVELLOUS!

And then she sat down. Alone. PFFFFT.

Iris laughed. She liked how he'd taken her uncertainty as a compliment, "You're welcome." Iris supposed that his costume wasn't THAT bad. It complimented his hair and stuff. At least he'd chosen something sane, not like who ever it is that's chillin' inside that cow costume...

The prefect tapped her feet lightly, as she watched Evan.

Oh.

So that was why he was looking for her... Iris half smiled at the boy, and glanced away from him for just a second. Well, it seemed like Jimbo wasn't going to be showing up. Why not, eh? Grinning as he added the little "totally friendly" comment, Iris nodded. "Sure. I'd love to." Cheeky grin.

Teehee. If you'd have told her that she was going to Evan's date to a ball two years ago, Iris would have laughed at you.

Iris looked past Evan when a very sparkly figure sat down near him. Wooow. Lorelei had REALLY out done herself for this. Even more than Iris had. She'd have to go compliment her dress or something at somepoint. It was a pretty fairy costume, after all.
