Besides, Sandra had yet to complain about not being twirled and he was sure someone else would if she asked them. A sheepish grin found it's way on his face as she explained how she got her feeling back in her toes. "Yeah, sorry about that." He was sure she was going to hex him that day. "I can't believe you still danced with me after that."

He would not have.

If it were anyone but Sandra they might have questioned him. Danika would have for sure. Maybe Sandra would tell her later on, but by that time, they would all be on the boat going back home. But, he wouldn't be bothered with it. No one went near him while on the water.

He couldn't help but grin at her obvious excitement. And having a few places in mind.. He supposed having a few options was better than having none at all. True, he wanted to leave the comforts of his parents home, the problem was just trying to figure out where to go. He shrugged when she asked him for suggestions. "I still live in Bulgaria." he said jokingly before a wink could be seen from under his mask. "Have you thought about London? Lots of opportunities there." Or so he heard. Hehe, he knew how much she loved Potion's. It was a surprise she didn't have a cauldron on her right then.. but then again, it would clash with her dress. "And you will be great."

It probably would have been a surprise if he had told her he was not going to travel. But, having been talking about that for as long as he could remember, everyone already knew that about him. Hehe, and then the offer he was waiting for. He didn't think she would have minded him just stopping by, but showing up uninvited.. not really his thing. "Of course I will visit." And in reality, he would have been hurt if she did not invite him."You know, if you need any help.." he trailed off, not feeling the need to finish; Sandra knew she could always ask him for his help.

Sandra was right, of course. He didn't have to know what he planned on doing. But, with people constantly asking him what his plans were, he felt that he should know. Telling them he was going to travel was not a good enough answer for most people.. like his parents. "You're right." And even though she probably knew she was, he decided to tell her anyway. He did have the rest of his life to decide. Besides, he could find a new passion while traveling. Like when people visit Italy. They always seem to come back with a passion for cooking. He had thought about doing something dealing with nature, but it was hard to pick. Although, one thing did strike his interest. "I've been thinking about wandmaking a lot."
Nikolai had yet to step on her feet the whole time, which only meant one thing. He was beginning to feel over-confident about his dance skills or lack there of. Aleksandra knew what happened when he got this feeling and had mentally prepared herself for a spin. But, it didn't come. She certainly wasn't disappointed. One could say she was almost relieved about not being spun. Yes, she loved being spun, but being spun by Nikolai had always proved hazardous to her physical health. "No need to apologize, it vas our first dance, and a vhile ago." Which also happened to be around the same time their friendship had begun. Maybe that's why she hadn't hexed him for her injuries. A brief laugh escaped her lips. "Neither can I, guess I had hope that you vould improve."

And he had....after a few more dances and bruised feet.

A smirk crept onto her face, and she slightly tilted her head to the side. "Are you suggesting I move near you, Nikolai?" Her teasing tone matching the look in her eyes. "It has been suggested to me before." Her head nodded, eyes flicking briefly to Fletcher at the champions table. She hadn't considered any place in England until he had suggested London to her. And now Nikolai was suggesting the place as well. She would defiantly have to check London out now. Might make it her first stop since she was so close. Of course she would be great. Potions was the one thing that she excelled at and also loved. More than anything, so it would be impossible for her to fail. Though she did love the complements, and coming from him it meant a lot. Him being one of the few that she considered a close friend.

Sandra would have been surprised, and probably a little hurt though she would never acknowledge the pain or admit to it. if he declined her offer for him to come to visit her. More surprised since they both knew that she wanted him to visit and he wanted to visit her. There was no way they would stop being close, not after all their years at Durmstrang on top of their personal history. "I knov," there was simplicity in her voice. And a knowing that if she ever needed him for anything, he was there for her. Maybe she would grab him while searching for a place.

He didn't have to tell her she was right, she already knew that. The woman had heard that from plenty of people who thought she fibbing about her wanting to work with potions when she was only eleven, and heard the same people tell that to her peers. And it was true. They were only seventeen, almost eighteen. Many people, to her strong dislike, still considered them children or inexperienced in worldly matters. So Nikolai had as long as he wanted to chose his career. "Vandlore," she repeated, only mildly surprised by his choice. He had spoke of the career before, but then it hadn't seemed to her that he had settled on the choice. "It think that's a vonderful career choice. Maybe you should speak with Fedorov, see if he could help you vith that." Konstantin Fedorov was the best wandmaker in her bias opinion. Surely he would help Nikolai if her friend decided to become a wandmaker himself.
