Rubiey turned around, and smiled at Taylor. "Thanks Tay! You look stunning!" She said, eying her dress. It was absolutely amazing. Again, Rubiey had the feeling she was the odd, scruffy girl amongst the princesses.

Rubiey laughed. "I know, but I think we compliment eachother." She said, smiling. they were polar opposites. "Ah, I can't wait! I bet your family are lovely." She said. If they were related to Fee, then of course they were!

"N'aww, aren't you just the bestest girlfriend in the world." Rubiey said, nudging Fee playfully in the ribs.

Rhea supposed she was getting a bit tired. For the first time though, her feet didn't hurt because of dancing around in heels all evening with strange boys who got dragged along with their mothers. No, this time she was dancing with who she wanted to dance with and she was in nice comfy strappy slippers. Her mom would totally frown, but she was at least sure that she would approve of the boy she was dancing with. She shook her head when Jack started apologizing. He actually wasn't doing that bad with the whole dancing bit. His blonde hair wasn't sitting well with her though, she loved his dark brown hair and wanted it back. It was just for a night though, just one night, then it would be nice and brown again.

"You're doing wonderful." She reached up and ran her fingers through his blonde hair, then frowned slightly." I'm missing your hair though."

Rhea giggled and shook her head. Jack being jack again, gloating on how wonderful and magic he was. She liked when he got like that though, strangely enough. Call her crazy. She looked down at herself. Who was she? She was Gaia of course."I'm Gaia, goddess of the earth, though Aiden has gone even further to say that I'm a lake goddess, in keeping with the fact that he calls me lake dweller."

Jayce smiled awkwardly, unsure of what to do to make this situation a whole lot less awkward.. But, he couldn't think of anything anyway. He was.. kind of at a loss for words around her thanks to their whole "situation". The Gryffindor still wasn't sure if she had loved Beck or not. From what Bonnie had said, she did. Or.. she kind of did.. Something.. But Hayley said otherwise and Jayce was confused about the whole thing. Who did she really love? Him? Or Beck? "Oh, um.. thanks." He replied, snapping out of his thoughts. "I err.. like yours too."

Jayce shuffled his feet awkwardly and glanced around, avoiding Hayley's gaze. What to do? "Oh yeah? I doubt that. Girls are usually really good dancers..." At least pretty much all of the ones he knew were super awesome dancers. "Learned from who?" he asked curiously. But the she took his hand, and it took everything he had not to rip it away. It was so.. weird.. and.. awkward. Merlin.. then she was leading him away. Damn it. The boy frowned. And now-now she was putting her arms around his neck? Could things be more awkward? And of course.. he was worried about stepping on her feet.

Hayley laughed as Jayce said he liked her costume. Yeah right, he's just nervous. She thought. Then again I am as well. "Thanks." She said simply. She liked how he tried to make the moment a little better but she knew that she had to bring this all up soon. Like really soon. She ignored his question, because she would bring it up soon.

As she started to dance she looked up at Jayce, hoping he would forgive her for what she did. "I kind of needed to talk to you anyhow, seeming as this may be the last time I ever see you again." She stated, making herself not cry in front of him. C'mon Hayley, you have to tell him. "I need to clear somethings up, with you. Okay so here it goes.." She said, trailling off. Now where to start....

The Gryffindor fixed her tiara upon her head and rested her arm back upon his shoulder. "I've heard the rumors about what Bonnie had said to you. That I love Beck, but I don't. He likes me and I...kissed him, which I hate myself still to this day, to say goodbye. When I know, I could've just said goodbye, but yeah. Bonnie just told you that because I think she likes you, that she's jealous." She stopped, taking a deep breath in and out. Alright onto the next thing....what was the next thing? Oh yeah, them. "I just wanted you to know, that like I said before, I would never lie to you, I would never." She said looking down once, as she almost tripped on one of the floorboard's nails. "And I do love you, only you. Not Beck, he was just in the way and I wanted him out. Although I will understand if you like Bonnie more than me, and you're so hurt that you want to break up and go along with her. It will hurt, but I guess I'll understand." She stated, looking back up at him.

Yep, there was more. Her parents. "And the last thing, I promise." She laughed a little but frowned. She would not cry, not now. "I'm moving actually...my parents well you know how I told you that they haven't really contacted me? Or maybe that was someone else, but yes they wouldn't contact me. Apparently..on one of their business trips of some sort..they got stuck in a house..on fire and they...uhm..." Hayley stopped to look at the ceiling and looked back to Jayce. "They perished in the fire. My brother and I will be moving with Vanessa and Bonnie somewhere else. I'll be homeschooled for a year while Bonnie still goes to Hogwarts. Then I'll come back for my 7th Year..." She trailed off, wiping a few tears from her eyes, carefully not to mess up her makeup.

"So that's what I wanted to tell you." The brunette said, looking at Jayce for forgiveness for what she had done.

Edmond nodded, "I know, thanks to you it went by faster than I had thought it would." he smiled, saying the truth. He had thought it was going to be torture at Hogwarts, but it had an unexpected turn that he quite liked a lot.

He couldn't help the reddening of his cheeks, but didn't complain. "Thanks, and thanks for you being you." he said.

Ed looked around and noticed other people dancing and so he offered his hand for Feenella. "Would you like to dance?" he asked a bit nervous. Ed wasn't the best of dancers, but he knew a thing or two.

Fee couldnt help but smile as she heard what he was saying.Edmond had no idea how much having him around made life easier and better for her.

"Aww thank you",she said happily,"time almost passed too fast."
It was weird how much had happend in just one year and Fee was rather sad to leave this place soon.
"Any plans for the summer?"

Noticing him blush,she giggled.Fee hadnt seen that in a while.
"Thank you again",she blushed a little herself.
This was one of the moments she wondered with what she deserved him.

"Of course i would love to",she smiled taking his hand.
Fee really loved to dance.

"It trully did." Ed chuckled. "Since the very day you tripped over my foot." it was a day that he still remembered clearly.

Edmond hadn't planned much for the summer, except help his father at the office. "Not many," he said thinking, "I'm going to get to meet my new sister." he smiled widely. His mother was due in two weeks or so and he was excited. "How about you?" he asked.

He smiled when he saw Feenella blush, she looked so pretty. "You're pretty when you do that." he smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Ed pulled her close to him, wrapping his free arm around her wairst, but didn't move. "Uh, let me warn you that I'm not the best dancer." he smiled sheepishly.

Fee chuckled as he mentioned their first day.Somehow she hadnt tripped over anyone else's food after that. Weird but she didnt care.
"That was definitely the best day in this whole year",she smiled,"i dont even know how i spend my time that month before without you."
Oh yeah with complaining that she had no-one,the memory let her laugh.


"Yeees right you must be soo excited",Fee said happily,"whats going to be her name?"
She was sure he hadnt told her that yet.
"Well,i have no plans actually.Except for Rubies coming with me",she told her boyfriend,"i am going to miss you."
But it wasnt the time to think about that now.Not just now.

"I do?",Fee smiled again,"thank you, could say the same about you."
What was it with him making her smile all the time?!

Wrapping her arms around his neck she chuckled.
"Dont worry.I am sure you arent that bad at it."

Could he be bad at anything?!

So, he's eaten, and he's talked a bit, mostly about odd costume choices. He's even argued with Professors and taken a few advices on food by them.

Quite an eventful Ball, really. At least more than the last one he attended.

Treyen wasn't really doing anything in particular at the moment, he was mainly people-watching and leaning against the wall...eyes looking at no one in particular, since none of the people he knew seemed to be dancing at the moment.

Okay. Ellie was bored. She was fiiiine talking over at the food table. But after the most immature outburst of flying food, no one had made an attempt to talk to her. You know what, though. That's fine. She'll do the work.

She walked over to the dance floor and scanned it. Lo and behold, she saw Treyen. Heh.

"Hey there." She leaned back against the wall next to him and eyed the kids dancing. It looked fun. Hint. Hint.

The red hair always gave her away. Actually, her costume should have included a wig or something, then he wouldn't be able to spot her so easily...though, she was the one spotting him right now.

"Ellie..." he said, with a nod, "...having a good time?" well, if people saw them, then the answer to that would be an obvious one...'No'. Especially since Ellie didn't look like she was having fun...

...fun...

...Ellie...

..."You aren't doing anything, would you like to dance?" he asked, straightening himself up and offering his hand for her to take. He mentally shook his head, that was NOT how you asked someone to dance...they had taken lessons after all...Vindictus would be so disappointed.

"Treyen." Ellie said and mimicked him with a nod. She blew a lock of hair from her face. "No." Was the simple answer to her question. JD was being dumb and no ickle firsties came up to her to oggle at her coolness. Not that the latter happened often. But she had always thought it would be cool if one were to do so. And if one were to ask where a certain class was. She could so lie to them and send them into the Forbidden Forest.

But she smiled at his question and took the boy's hand. "Yes, I would." BEAM. The night was gonna get better now, wasn't it?

Yay!.

There it was...the answer. Sigh. The boy looked completely sad, how come she wasn't having a good time? Well, in all fairness, he had recently been leaning against the wall, and that's not precisely a synonym of having a good time, yes?

"How come?" he decided on asking, "Not even by making fun of some costumes?" like the one who decided to come as a cow? "I do have to say that your housemate chose a very odd costume" he was, of course, talking about JD and his Peter Pan-ness.

His face changed entirely when that other answer came, he smiled as he remembered last term. Ellie had been the one who taught him how to lead, and he'd better do it right this time, wouldn't want her to think that the lessons were sort of wasted time.

But since the song currently being played was a fast paced one, then he wouldn't need to lead much, right?

Either way, Treyen led her towards almost the center of the dance floor, "It does feel a bit like deja-vu, right?" except, it sort of was, all things considered.

Fast paced songs meant keeping a bit of a distance and twirling her around from time to time. As in...fun.

Ellie bit her lip. "Not sure.." Because she was being ignored! Hmph. But not now. So now, her answer would be completely different. If only he'd asked a second or so later.

She smirked. Some people were wearing quite humorous costumes. Like Treyen, for example. She was sad she hadn't/couldn't take part in that fun. It would have been a blast to allude people all night of who you really were. But she rolled her eyes when he mentioned what she assumed to be JD's costume. "I honestly have no clue what that was and what possessed him to wear it and why, in Merlin's name, he thought it was a good idea." She rolled her eyes again.

Smiling, she let him lead her out into the very-close-to-center of the dance floor. Aww how special. "A bit. Only you seem more confident this time." Ellie nodded. And she was quite glad it was a fast-paced song. Much funner than slow dancing. More moving around. More busy-ness.

But her perception of the Ball could be changed...just by dancing, right? Well, he hoped so, everyone should be able to have a wonderful time at Fletcher's party.

Treyen tilted his head to one side and couldn't help but chuckle after she spoke, "But it is a very well-made costume" he said, and moved closer because of someone who was dancing behind them, "I think it's odd, but I never said he shouldn't have worn it" he shook his head, not because of the music, but because of what he'd said.

Grin. The boy moved some more...left, right, left, right, right...and, yeah, "I only have you to thank for that" he smiled, and twirled her again.

She wrinkled her nose. "It's just a bunch of leaves." That was considered well-made? No. The cow costume was well made. HER costume was well-made in comparison. And she wasn't even dressed up.

Ellie shrugged. Go on. Be on JD's side. BOYS.

Oh twirl! Fun! Ellie spun around. "Hardly." she said, smiling. What they did last year, did that count? Hmm.

Oh, so she hated the boy's costume. Ellie didn't like the leaves? Well, it wasn't something Treyen would wear, but the boy did have guts to show with a bunch of leaves attached to him. "True, I thought he was missing half of his costume...but still...once explained, it was, er, a nice one" he didn't know exactly what word to use there, so he went ahead with nice. "But enough about his costume" he said, one hand up in the air.

And since she looked nicer with a smile on her face, then he won't mention the Peter Pan costume anymore.

Arms, legs, everything moving. And so was everyone. You know...dancing was sort of fun, wasn't it? Eyes widening a bit, the boy smiled, "You taught me to lead, I would be a mess if you hadn't done so" a total mess, see, a complete disaster. Er, probably not, but still.

"What are you doing this summer, Ellie?" he asked, no more Peter Pan.

Yes. "He was missing half his costume. The top half." The part that was supposed to cover his torso. But yes. Enough of his costume. It annoyed her. "What made you decide to dress the way you did?" Ellie asked.

She blushed. "Not true..." she tried to bite back a smile, and failing to do so, looked down. She would very much like it to be true.

This summer? "I'm not sure.. I usually go on a vacation with my family and stay around the house." She hadn't heard of where they were going this summer yet. If they were able to go. "What about you?"

He was about to tell her that he'd already explained that part to her, but it had been Arya the one who's heard the whole explanation. The boy twirled Ellie once more before answering, "Professor Kingsley" he said, with a nod, "He's the one who dresses differently and who happens to be one of my favorites" it was easy, very easy, and had been decided after the last lesson. Dressing up as his favorite Professor (Nolan) would've ended in Treyen looking like a mere muggle, that's why he chose Kingsley, because Lafay was no option.

Blushing? What for? "Non sense. You should be very proud" because he was doing great, was he not?

Treyen smiled, sounded like the normal vacations he never had while his sister was in Hogwarts, she always insisted on heading somewhere where adventures could rise, of course, she didn't include him, most of the times. "Oh, we have Quidditch season, so I'll be going to a couple games" and with two family members belonging in that environment he was bound to attend a few matches, no? "But I think I can make my dad take us to Italy. Professor Hadley is Italian, didn't you know?" and that was not the reason why he was choosing Italy, but the pictures and the painting he saw in her office were pretty ones.

Twirl! Giggle.

"Ah." Ellie said, nodding. "He's one of my favorites, too." Yeah. Reyn was her utmost favorite. No one could top him. But Kingsley had a close second. Yup.

Ellie continued to blush, but picked her head up. "Okay then. I'm quite proud."

Quidditch! "I hope to go to a few matches, too." Mhm. Hopefully most of them. She was definitely craving some Quidditch after the lack of it during the school year. She missed it.

"Italy?! That sounds fun. I haven't been there yet." Maybe they'd go there, too, this holiday? It sounded good. "Is she really?" Hadley's Italian? "I mean.. I know she has a few trinkets or something of Italy in her office. But I just thought she was fond of it... or had visited there.. or something." Actually, looking back, it seemed quite obvious that she was from there.

Perhaps Treyen could go and survey all Hogwarts about their favorite Professor, for it seemed that Kingsley was very close to being number one as it was Arya's favorite, too. "Nolan is my ultimate favorite, though, but Kingsley is second in the race" no wonder Treyen did amazing in Divination since the class was taught by his favorite one. Maybe it had nothing to do with it, given the fact that he didn't do particularly great in Transfiguration....

...anyway, music? The fast-paced one was beginning to end, he only hoped that it would continue...

Treyen smiled. "If you attend one where the Arrows are playing, then let me know...we can meet up" and perhaps get her some VIP tickets? Sure, he could do that. "What is your favorite team again?" because he was certain that he'd asked her before, but he couldn't remember.

"It seems beautiful" Italy, of course, "Yup, she has a flag and everything..." he nodded in agreement.

Diggy smiled. He twirled her around and dipped her slowly. As he brought her up he planted a kiss on her cheek. They were in front of the entire school and all the staff after all. Snogging his girlfriend wasn't on his list of things to do in front of an audience. "I like you being my brand of weird too." he smiled. There weren't many girls that would put up with an almost 17 year old boy still enjoying hugs from his mom and dressing as a Power Ranger., but Diggy liked those things.

He shook his head at her suggestion, "I don't think Professor Vindictus will pick me. I think he thinks I'm a wimp or something. And compared to Paris who was captain I am a bit of a wimp." he said. Ghangis Khan was a wimp compared to Paris. But secretly he was holding out hope that he would be picked, though he knew in his heart of hearts that he was going to be crying on his mom's shoulder over the summer when he didn't get the letter. Thinking of his mom he smiled. He was almost as tall as she was. Which meant that he was almost 5 feet tall and that was a good thing indeed. That would help with his air of being adult when he turned 17. "I've been thinking about us," Diggy said slowly and suddenly. "And I want to ask you something, but I don't know if its right. But I think its right, but then again what I think is right sometimes gets the pool house blown up." he rambled. He was nervous and he was rambling. Oh this just wasn't coming out right.

"Reyn!" Ellie grinned. She loved that man. Like a bestest friend.

As the music began to fade, Ellie slowed in her dancing. Realizing that this was stripping Treyen of his lead role, she tried to hide it by gathering her hair back. Though, it is uncertain how this is disguises it.

"I will definitely send an owl." she nodded. She liked the Arrows anyway. "My top three teams are the Harpies, Arrows, and Pride of Portree."

"It does. And I hear they have good pizza. And pasta. And ice cream!" Fooooooood! Hehe.

Selena blushed slightly when he kissed her cheek. She liked being dipped by Diggy, it was fun, even if her hair pretty much swept the ground. "Well, you're my perfect brand of weird," she said with a grin.

She frowned at that. "Well, it doesn't have anything to do with how wimpy someone is, it has to deal with the person's Quidditch and leadership skills," Selena pointed out. 'Compared to Paris everyone looks like a wimp,' she added to herself. Because, seriously, Paris seemed kinda scary in her opinion from the stories that Diggy told her. Diggy was... thinking about them...?

"What's wrong...?" she asked, a bit worriedly. She couldn't tell if it was something good or bad. Her heart was beating rapidly and she wasn't sure if it was because she was excited or frightened completely of what he was going to say.

What?! "Reyn? What's a Reyn?" he frowned, it was the first time in his short life that he's heard such word. Was it a person, a place, an object?

Why were transitions so awfully awkward? Maybe they'll stop being awkward as he gets older? Non sense! He was fourteen already, it shouldn't be that difficult to go from fast-paced to slow-paced music, right?

He tried his best, though, as not to let Ellie see the uneasiness with which he was sort of slowing down...and then it hit him. Fletcher's costume party. Kingsley. Aha! Treyen came to a full stop and did a little bow as he took Ellie's hand again and got a bit closer than before. He found leading was better when slow music was on. "This is all done in character, Kingsley would do the same, right?" though, perhaps not as exaggerated as he had.

Then he frowned again, "You can't have three teams, only one" and what did all of those had in common?! "You should choose the Arrows" he said, with a small wink, like those he'd seen that Durmstranger make when at the Hufflepuff table.

The food! That was probably going to be the greatest, no? Treyen was practically beaming right now, "Pizza, I know! But, wait, it's gelato, no? Instead of ice cream..." though, it was pretty much the same to him.
