Christopher James Aesalon leaned against the doorway leading to the Ravenclaw Common Room, tilting his head back slightly and letting his hair fall over his eyes.
A serious face, expressive sharp dark eyes, and a set square jaw is what met the gaze of anyone who happened to be looking.
It seemed everywhere he himself looked, he encountered someone reading, or looking like they were reading, or talking about reading....Well it certainly wasn't a mystery as to how the Ravenclaws got their nerdy reputation.
Was he bored? Maybe. Was there stuff he himself needed to read? Yes, actually there was. Looking around almost casually, he spied an empty nice looking arm chair. If he was going to read, then at least it would be in comfort if not silence.
Striding purposefully over to the chair with a look that said 'That-chair-is- mine-and-I-dare-you-to-try-to-take-it'. And then before anyone did dare to take it he launched himself into the seat and leaned back, already getting comfortable.
Dropping his bookbag on the floor next to him, he reached in and pulled out....a book.
Would he read it he didn't know yet but for now well he'd be comfortable.

With a long sigh and twitching of mouth, Annie didn't even think about her future. "Soccer, I'll be the best female soccer player from the Barcelona's Soccer team..." That was a big dream, but not too far. All her life was dedicated to that sport. Muggle, but it was her dream. Kel grimaced as he got the mental picture of the cat attacking the guy's face. Not pretty. Cat's really could be evil all of the time most of the time. That would be why Kel didn't own one, and he, if it was up to him, wouldn't own one ever.
Wracking his brain, he tried to remember if he knew her boyfriend. "Don't know him." he decided, shaking his head. Which wasn't a surprise. He opened his mouth to say something, just when Annie siiiighed. Kel couldn't help but smirk. That was a total romatic sigh - he could tell. He wondered briefly if Jenn ever siiiighed when she thought or talked about him.
With a shrug, Kel slipped off the couch so he could sit by Annie on the floor. He chuckled lightly at what she said. Who was it that told him that he still had two years to worry about his future? Hmm. He couldn't remember. But, he kind of agreed with Annie more. "Yeah, I know. I just don't know what I'm really good at, ya know? Maybe I'll go for a muggle job." Like what they'd talked about in Muggle Studies. Kel would be a great muggle actor!! Or so he thought.
His eyes widened slightly at Annie's response. "Well, that's really cool!" he said honestly. "I'm sure you're great at it." Yep, 'cause if she wanted it so bad, it would mean she practiced a lot...and 'practice makes perfect.'
