'Yes, my whole family is French' Maddie told him 'I am glad you like them!' she smiled and reached out to take one for herself

"Wow...amazing, I love French history.....did your family take any great part in it?"

Timothy smiled.

Maddie pondered that for a minute
'I am not sure' she said 'But we have always been important figures at court.' That was true enough. He didn't need to know how important, did he?

Hmmm she obviously was a very mysterious girl, who didn't want to discuss such things.

"Well.............so........." Timothy was stumped, "How's the homework coming?"

Hopefully she would at least try to discuss this....

((Sorry it is taking me so long, just finished with finals, then also packing for a trip))

Maddie smiled
'Oh, it is alright' she said, taking another chocolate 'Not too hard, thank goodness!'

"Yeah, same here I have already turned in some of it.....though I am waiting on those housepoints...I hear that you have quite a few!"

Timothy gingerly took another chocolate, and played with the ring on his finger absent-mindedly.

Maddie blushed scarlet
'I... suppose I do' she said nervously

"Well that is far better then having negative or none! You are helping the team!" Timothy grinned at her nervousness, and blushed himself.

Maddie laughed
'Yes, it is better than being in the negatives' she said lightly 'Are you trying out for the Quidditch team this year?' she asked

"I hadn't thought of that! Do they take 2nd years?" Timothy could feel his heart begin to beat fast, he was excited!

((Snap missed the deadline...))

'Yes, they take all years' she said lightly 'I did not go - I am afraid of heights' she told him

Timothy understood, he himself was afraid of heights, just looking out of the window of the common room gave him the creeps.

"Yikes I despise heights....perhaps it is better that I don't sign up this year..." Timothy turned pale just thinking about it.

Maddie giggled
'Perhaps we should stick to the sports that are played on the ground, then' she suggested jokily 'So, do you want a sweet?' she asked, pulling some more out of her bag 'I have never tasted these ones - my aunt just sent them this morning. She says they are wizard sweets, from a place called Honeydukes. My aunt is the only other magical one in our family' she set the box next to the chocolates and took what looked like a large quill, covered in sugar. Sucking it, she decided she like it.

Stepping into the common room, JD looks around. Sighing with relief, he's glad Anya didn't seem to be there. He wasn't sure at all what he would say to her now. It had been two years...2 YEARS! They never officially broke up, but yet...Where in Merlin's name had she been!?!?!

Quidditch tryouts he thought went well...not so good in his opinion. Nia seemed certain he should be on the team, and well...he wasn't so sure. He figured as long as she didn't make him seeker, he might be fine...

Finding a chair facing the fire, he sits down in it to relax. Fingering the area, that he had injured in the tryouts a few days back, not to mention for the second time in a year, he sighs again, this time with relief, that the pain was gone.

Ellie bit her lip when she saw the boy from the hospital wing and practice come in and finger his injury. Hopefully it was better now, though. I mean, he was back from the hospital wing... And he didn't seem to be in pain.

"Aye, that is why I prefer most types of muggle sports, less flying....yeah less falling to one's death." Timothy looked at what she withdrew from her bag, Honeydukes candies....Timothy had heard that those were supposedly legendary...So of course he took one of the quills. His eyes widened, "Delicious! Why thank you Madeline!"

She knew that she must tell Timothy that he has a boyfriend,"Timothy, did I tell you that I have a boyfriend?"

Timothy's eyebrows raised slightly, well of course she did, she was a fourth year and a veela. "Really thats nice! Who is he?" A thought suddenly came into his mind, he turned to Madeline..."Do you?"

Sensing someone's eyes on him, he looks up. Ellie! he thinks smiling at her. "Hi." he says quietly.

Wondering why she was biting her lip, he tilts his head curiously at her.

Maddie smiled and looked a little guilty
'As of yesterday, yes' she said 'Justin Hendricks'

"His name is Jason Potter Weasley and he graduated last year" she told Timothy, she knew that Timothy fancied her.

Timothy bit his lip for a second, then looked at Madeline...."Good...for you! Congrats!" Timothy tried his best to smile. They would be good friends then.....Timothy was a little depressed but, that was fine, good for her.

He looked to Victoria and tried to smile again, "Congratulations! Is he working in the ministry?"

Ellie blushed and waved. She was afraid to approach him, though she didn't know why. She was fine before...

Maddie felt guilty now. She knew Timothy liked her...
'Sorry' she whispered, and squeezed his hand. She really liked Justin, though, and was not going to dump him. Or cheat on him. She was just not that kind of girl.

"No, I think don't know what he wants to do!" she told Timothy, she could see that he was crushed that she wasn't single.
