Ellie burst into the common room!! She was thrilled beyond emotion! *GASP* She'd have to send her family an owl!!!

She spotted JD and ran over to him, wrapping him in her arms, squeezing him. "You're chaser! You're chaser! I knew you would change your mind! I knew you wouldn't quit! Did you see? I'm beater! We're on the team together! This is great!" she kept him in this crushing, squeezing, hug of happiness.

Nia was curled up in an armchair facing away from the portrait hole, desperately trying to focus on her homework. It wasn't going according to plan though, as she kept glancing around the Common Room, or doodling Quidditch tactices in the margin, or fancying a chocolate cookie. Hmm. Maybe it was time to have a stretch.

She put her parchment and textbook to the side, and stood to have a long stretch. The time that goes from the tips of your fingers all the way to your toes. And somehow feels extra nice. It was as she did so, she heard her name being called. First she saw JD (who didn't exactly look cheery) and then Ellie (who appeared the complete opposite). She guessed the rosters had been released, and they'd both just come from the pitch. Thinking about the team she'd picked was a welcome distraction.

"Hi guys," she said, leaning over the back of the armchair and grinning. "What's up?" She winked at Ellie, wondering quite what JD was thinking.

Lily-anne walked down the stairs from the girls dormitory,a charms text book held firmly in her hand. her hair was tied back in a ponytail, she was out of uniform in torn jeans, a simple stiped t-shirt and a pair of bright green converse on. she made her way towards one of the chairs by the fireplace,flipped her book open and began to read. she hadn't seen her friends around latly she hopped she would soon, she kinda wondered if the thing with Jay was at hand in that but if it was that was wrong it wasn't her fault.

Lily-anne placed her book down and watched the embers in the fireplace burn

Jay walked into the common room, he saw Lilly-Anne and walked up to her, he still felt a bit awkward about what happened but sat next to her, "Hi Lilly-Anne." he said cheerfully-ish.

lilly anne looked up with a perky smile " hey" she smiled "i was begining to wonder if you and the others left school" she laughed "haven't seen you around lately"she said crossing her legs and turning to him

"NI..." stopping suddenly "a" looking over at the person squeezing him, he smiles slightly at her. Shaking his head, he replies "No...there's been some sort of mistake, I did qui..."

Looking up as Nia walked over, "Nia! I didn't say I was still going to tryout. I don't think I'm ready!" Looking oddly amused, he looks at her seriously, "I think you made a mistake...maybe you meant to put Keltan on there instead." He adds glancing over at Kel.

"I've thought it over, and maybe...another term of just practice will help..." sadly he keeps his eyes diverted from her, so she couldn't read the truth in them.

"I thought the same about you.." he said with a small laugh, "How you been? I thought you got ill or something"

"no not ill, well not the whole time" she said with a smile and a laugh "so how have things been? have you sorted things with Amy?" she asked hopefully.

"Yeah sorta, first it was a bit bumpy, then she told my girlfriend i had my tongue down my mates throat and then we sorted it out..." he carried on. "Have you seen Nico? I seriously think he moved." he said, hopefully she had seen Nico.

"Girlfriend?" she said with a smile and then it dropped "no, i gusse he has, im kinda hurt he didn't tell me" she said letting her head fall against the chair

Jay smiled,"Yeah, Sammy..." he said,then he frowned a bit when she dropped her smile, "He may just be busy or-just..."

she smiled "no, it's alright forget him" she half heartedly "sammy the girl i met by the lake she seemed nice" she said smiling at him

"You forget him that easy? He is your boyfriend..." he said a bit shocked on what Lilly-Anne said. "Yeah, she's great." he said smiling.

"no" she said defensivly "i just ment lets not talk about him" she said slightly shocked ofcourse she wasnt going to forget him that easy she looked at the fire "thats good" she said as he mentioned sammy and fiddled with the torn fabric of her jeans

"Oh right..." he said relieved.

Lily-anne stared at the fire and got up "i''ve got to go" she said getting up to leave the common room she couldn't believe he thought she was that shallow

"Uh okay?" he said,quickly. Then throwing his head on the table, "She hates me still!" he screamed then the pain in his head grew ALOT more.

Anya walked into the common room only to hear JD say he was quitting, or rather he already did quit. Oh no, uh-uh. Not while she was here. She narrowed her eyes and walked over to him.

"Excuse me," she said, doing her best sweet smile. "Can I talk to you for a moment, JD?"

lily-anne sat on one of the chairs by the girls dorm staircase she didnt hate him it was just well she had a bit of a short fuse sometimes she sighed realising she had left her charms book on the table. she slowly walked back to the table and picked it up "i forgot my book" she said quitely before making her way to another chair

"Okay..." he said, as she walked away he threw his head on the table a few times, he then left his head there and a tear or too fell from his eyes onto the table.

Looking up guiltily, he realizes he's still being squeezed by Ellie. Placing his hands gently on her shoulders, he pushes away gently. Looking down he nods "Of course."

He hadn't done nothing wrong...I mean she was the one to come up to him squeezing him excitedly...right?

Following her over to the window, he turns to face her quizzically.

Ellie beamed at Nia. She was brilliant! JD had made it!

Still holding to JD, her expression changed. What? Noo.. he couldn't have quit! He was on the roster.

Then he pushed her away. She was quite surprised that words were, for once, not gushing from her mouth. What was all this about. And now that girl was taking him away? But they needed to talk! He needed to explain! Nia needed to tell him that it was alright! Ahh! This is not going as she thought. She thought that he had obviously told Nia that he changed his mind about quitting, and she put him on the roster. Now he was saying that he did quit? Noo.... he couldn't. Didn't she tell him that already? He was too excellent to quit, anyway. She just watched him, confused, as he walked away. Boo.

Mina quietly made her way over to her favourite chair. Plopping down, she pulled her journal our from her bag and opened it. It had been weeks since she last opened it and jotted down anything. There was so much she needed to add and now was the perfect time to do just that.

Lily-anne walked into the common room with felidea in her arms. She walked over to the fireplace and sat on the rug infront of it. Placing felidea on the floor she began producing sparks with her wand infront of felidea so that she could play with them. she smiled as the kitten began pawing the sparks.
