He laughed at her calling him mister, but then again he had called her miss....so manners rocked.

He grinned, "I found out my Uncle survived the hunt for him...." Timothy looked around secretly, "He is actually working undercover at the Ministry of Magic....we'll see what happens, sadly though I doubt we can go to Russia anytime soon.....but is there anything new with you Miss Madeline?"

Tim grinned stupidly....

Maddie smiled
'That's great, Timothy!' she said happily, giving him a quick hug. 'Not a lot's new with me, except... well, I wanted to ask you something' she stopped there, letting her voice tail off. she was... nervous.

Timothy's heart gave a leap as he hugged her back.

"Of course my lady, you can ask me anything." Timothy was now quite worried....hopefully she was ok...

Maddie took a deep breath and smiled
'Alright. Timothy... will you go to the ball with me? Or at least save me a dance? Please?' she so hoped he'd say yes. Say yes.

Timothy was slightly taken aback.....He thought she had a boyfriend......But he was her...friend so he would take her to any ball she wished....

"Of Course I would! I would have asked you myself, but I thought Justin would have asked you instead....So I would love to!"

Timothy now had something to look forward to, some light at the end of the tunnel.

Maddie smiled happily and hugged him again
'Thank you, Timothy' she said. 'Oh, Justin. He left. To go to Americaa' hmmph.

So he had left to go to America....interesting. Personally Timothy couldn't stand Americans...they....they just....were different. But now Justin was gone, but would he come back....Timothy wouldn't want to intrude at all.

"Wow, I am so sorry.....that must feel awful!"

She must be heartbroken....

Maddie shook her head
'It's alright' she said, smiling 'Not that bad. Besides, you're here to take me to the ball!'

Well...that....worked just fine for Timothy.

"Well of course I am! I can hardly wait...when exactly is it again?"

Timothy would have to find dress robes....to match her dress of course...

Maddie grinned. She was so happy!
'Er, the end of term, I think' she said to Timothy. Hmmm, did she have dress robes? She needed dress robes...

Ah well that gave him time to prepare...

"What style of dress robes do you have? I have some that are crimson....I don't know if that would match yours or not....."

He grinned, and reached into his pocket. He withdrew a small silver necklace from his pocket, which had the Corun/Danford crest in Ruby upon the clasp.

"It matches this....If you would like to have it...as a gift for the dance..."

He hoped this wasn't too sudden, it was a nice gift. Hopefully she would like it.

Maddie smiled and thought about her robes
'Mine are blue and purple' she said. They were pretty, with little gold beads on them. And her mother had made her bring silk elbow length gloves. Gah. Her eyes widened as she saw the necklace Timothy was giving her 'Timothy, that's gorgeous!' she said, looking at it. It really was. 'Will you help me put it on?' she asked him

"Yeah mine are Crimson in Colour...." Timothy eyes widened, "Well of course I will!"

Timothy lifted the silver necklace, walked behind her, and clasped it around her thin neck. He fumbled around for a few seconds, he was quite awkward, but he got the job done. It now hung beautifully, he was quite glad that he had given it to her. She was quite pretty!

Maddie smiled and her heart jumped around at the feel of his hand's on her neack.
'Thank you' she said softly to Timothy, touching the necklace 'It's beautiful'

Timothy felt his heart jump for a second, he was quite glad that she enjoyed it, it accented her beauty quite well. "Thanks, I am so glad that you like it Maddie!"

He smiled and came back around to look her in the eye. "One problem though....I can't dance."

Maddie giggled
'Of course I like it, how could I not?' she asked playfully 'Oh, and don't worry. It's not that hard, I've been dancing since I was three. I'll teach you, if you like?' oooh, yes, she could teach him. That would be fun!

Victoria saw Maddie and Timothy, she walked over and she was bursting with news but she knew that they have to keep it to themselves. "How are you guys?"

Ha, it was finally good to be back in the common room, where Tyler hasn't been much around lately. He would've been here sooner except his skateboard had loose trucks and they would eventually snap right off. Throwing himself on an empty seat, Tyler took out his tools began working on his board, while listening to people talking something about marriage.

And it was coming from Victoria. STRANGE.

Of course, she wanted to do what her fiance told her and that she was just to tell her friends and no one else because of the teachers.

Ri-ght. That was still weird. "Erm, okay. But still, don't you think you're a bit young? I mean, I get that you love him and all, but you're not even an adult yet, and stuffs..." Eh, he shrugged and looked at her a little skeptically. "You're life," he said with another shrug. None of his business, although he still thought it weird.

Turning as he saw a familliar black haired boy enter the room, Adam grinned at Tyler. "Hey," he said, sauntering over after watching Victoria going over to a couple of her friends. Hrmmpfff. He was getting walked away from now, eh? Well, TWO could play at that game.

Sitting down opposite Tyler, he looked over the skateboard he was working on. "That;s pretty cool," he said, admiring the board. "What's happened? Trucks come loose?" From the way Tyler was working, that was what it looked like to Adam.

"Wasssgood?" Tyler asked, with some laughter in his voice. Feeling Adam sit down next to him, Tyler kept concentrating on his board, but still paid attentioon when Ad talked to him. "Thanks. Been doing it for a couple years but Lucy started getting scared I was going to kill myself doing tricks, so no more street skating," he shurgged and kept trying to tighten his trucks.

Uh oh.

"Yup, if they got any looser, I'd fall just riding on it," he said and decided to just take them off. Looking at the parts, Ty saw that they had become rusted. How? "Great, now I need new trucks. Which means new bearrings and bolts and maybe even wheels. I'm not mobileless," he laughed and threw the board on the floor.

"I would love to be taught by you Maddie! That would be amazing!"

Wow, and even Victoria had just shown up! "Hey how are you!?"

He could hardly wait to tell her that Maddie and himself where going to the dance!

"Huh?" Adam replied with a laugh, having not caught a word of what Tyler said to him. Watching Tyler concentrate on his board, Adam wondered if he should have interuptted. But oh well, he was here now and Tyler was still talking. "Ahh, I doubt you die though. And even if you injure yourself, the nurse can fix you up, eh?" he laughed a bit, half-wishing that he did something like skateboard.

Watching Ty throw the board on the floor, Adam shook his head with a chuckle. "Seriously, there should be some spell to fix it. Try Reparo?" he suggested, although he wasn't sure if it was a stupid idea, o rif Tyler had tried it already. The idea of getting all new parts sounded dreadfull to Adam, so best trying to fix it.

"I don't think I really can die unless I get hit by a car," Tyler mentioned and put his tool back into his bag. "Yeah, but I'm not a big fan of doctors and nurses and such," he shivered a bit and leaned back on the chair.Hmmm, what now?

"Reparo won't work on this. It's not broken, just rusted and I'm wondering how water got on them since I obviously don't skate when it rains or something. So I'ma need new parts, which I don't have right now and my mom won't send me new ones," he added, remembering how it was her who sold all his boards and spare parts.

Maddie smiled
'I'll show you how to do it sometime before the ball, promise' she said, giggling 'Oh, hello Victoria!' she said happily, touching the cold silver necklace again 'Hang on, why are you wearing a Gryffindor pin?'
