Aaron FINALLY made it to the great hall. Stupid faulty trunk. Dumping everything out 3 TIMES on the train. ERGH! he began to make his way down the Slytherin table looking for Iris and lucia. But no Fallon. Tear... He was a bit of the way down when he ran into his first familiar face.

"Teddy!" he said standing behind her. "How's it going guuuuuurl?" HE said with a sly smile. Aaron's eyes widened and he put his hand over his mouth as he saw who Teddy was talking to. He fakely whispered so the person she was talking to would hear, "Is THAT the famous Parker?" He looked to Parker then Teddy back to Parker, then Teddy etc.

Aaron made his way down the table further to run into a very important person. "Hey, Kiri!" he said to his Quidditch teammate. "Heard you're captain this year. Can't wait for tryouts!"

Of course, after everyone else, THERE was Iris. "There you are! Gosh! Why are thee so many Slytherins?" He sat down next to her and took a swig from his Goblet. "Any cool firsties?" he asked seeing as though a lot of the firsties were already seated.

Absently playing with a fork, Colby McKensie was in his own little world. He was watching his brother from the Slytherin table. Apparently they were in different houses, which he had not been expecting. He HAD been expecting his mother to do everything she could to make sure that they were always together.

But yet, there he was. Watching/hiding from Ian. Squinting, he tried to figure out what exactly his brother was doing. Hopefully he wasn't eating food off of the floor.

"I really only know those two courses...I'm completely horrible at potions," Kate chuckled, remembering all the potions that have blown up in her face. "That would be awesome if you made the team! I love to fly, but I'm not coordinated enough to play at the same time." Kate winked at her new friend. "Let me know when the tryouts are, I'd love to come watch!"

Blake nearly snorted as he stared at a tempted Sylvia. Gosh, the cupcakes are so inviting. What is she waiting for? "Kiiind? I'm not kind, my mum is." He said, making a face as if being kind is something bad. Although, he can never say no to anyone - friend or not, it still doesn't qualify him as kind..no?

"Anyway, what are you waiting for? Go for it." He smiled and poked the lunch box. He SOOOO wanted to steal them.

"Payed otherwise?" Raising his brow at her, he added, "Are you threatening to give me another tree shower, MonkeyGirl?" Ahh, the shower brought back good memories! Sylvia sitting on a branch like a monkey while he sang 'It's raining men' - hilarious! "You know, we should totally pick stinky people around Hogwarts and give them a tree shower. BUT that doesn't mean I'm going around the school, sniffing armpits." Yuck. Flashing a dorky grin, he poured himself a goblet of Pumpkin Juice and sighed.

Blushy wushy? Chuckling, he hugged her back and said, "It's good to have you back! I missed you, really. And just a pointer, you look adorable while blushing." Le sigh, what a great beginning to his fifth year!

Iris looked up as a familiar voice spoke to her. She grinned, "Aaron!! *haha* I don't know, go and ask the sorting hat that. Where've you been? you've missed the Headmaster's speech and everything." Iris looked at him sadly, "And it wasn't Bontecou - It's some idiot called 'Tate.' He had to get that other professor guy to shut us up." New firsties - whoo! "Erm. Firsties? Nahhh, not really. But this, here, is Benjamin. Or, as I've decided to call him - Jimbo." Iris looked to Jimbo and smiled, "Jimbo, this is Aaron."

Ok. Intro's over - time for more pizza. monomnomnmon.

"Wait, what??" Aaron said suprised. "What happened to Bontecou? Did Tater say?" Aaron didn't trust this new guy. He figured he'd come up with a goofy nickname for him. Aaron also looked up to see an assortment of new teachers. "Erm... Did Tater explain that?" he said looking up at the Staff table.

"Howdy, Jimbo. Do you know Teddy Bear? Thalia is the name her parents gave her. But I figured maybe all you nicknamed people know each other," Aaron said sarcastically. He was really getting into this 'Being Funny thing.'

Jimbo grinned at Iris' look. He just hoped the man's teaching wasn't BORING and he'd be fine. Jimbo was just taking a HUGE bite out of a chicken leg, "Chyeah, I'm impressed! Is it like this everyday? Or just because it's the first day?"
Jimbo almost choked on his food when he managed to see Iris gnaw her pizza slice. He swallowed quickly and laughed loudly. It was nice to have a girl that didn't take great care in everything she did around a boy. She really was nothing like the girls back home.

He was in the middle of a huge bite when Iris introduced him. He chewed and swallowed, "Oh, er, hi, Aaron."
Uhm, Thalia?
"No, er, I don't know anyone named Teddy Bear OR Thalia."

Iris shrugged, "I dunno ... From what I heard over the summer, he went missing at the end of last term. Tate didn't really say much about it... Or the new staff. Some of them look alright though. Like that little old lady, She's been really cheery all evening. At least Lupa's still here. I think she's still our head of house, though I can't be sure." Iris ate some more pizza as she listened to Aaron talk to Jimbo.

She frowned confusedly, "Who's Teddy Bear? ... Um. Thalia.. Whoever. You've confused me. What?" Iris looked at Aaron and grinned, still a bit confused with what he'd just said, hoping that he'd just miss heard him. Who gives someone the nickname 'Teddy Bear'?

Iris shrugged again, "The food - Yeah, every day, Breakfast, lunch and tea. Always great. Howeverrr. The teachers ... welll... It's Hogwarts - You never know what's gonna happen." She smiled slyly, "You'll just have to learn to expect the extremely unexpected, and you'll be fine." Iris looked at him as he laughed, rather loudly. "What's so funny?" she asked him.

Iris looked to Aaron and smiled, "Looks like not everyone with a nickname know's each other, after all." Cheeesy grin. hehe.

Ever since the MeanyGlaringProfessor had walked away, Lavi hadn't payed any attention to him anymore but on his food. It was just so good that words couldn't describe it. He wondered if it was all made by magic or if there really was a grew in a kitchen that made all thes...........KITCHEN! right! Bella had told about the kitchen in Diagon Alley! Eeek even then he wanted to check it out and now he had tasted the food he reaaally wanted to sneak in.

Lavi daydreamed for a few moments and stared in front of him, it was a miracle he wasn't a fat kid, maybe it was because he ran through the streets when he was still in Leeds. Running made him feel relaxed for some reason, he loved the feeling of floating in the air if he ran really fast. But of course that could not top Soccer, cause that simply rocked! He made a mental note to himself that he should borrow one of the school owls and asked his father if he could bring his football.

''So, it is Rex that would be fun, ha? If i should forget him'' he replied quickly resisting the urge to shot another glare at that blondie so he could say something nasty then Josh could have the necessary reason to kick him out the Great Hall, no out the school grounds. Nevertheless he sat down where she indicated and gazed at the other Slytherins starting from Destiny. ''So, how are things going on here? Eveyone has just got insane at the Gryffindor table. One can find anything from circus freaks to royal ladies and kings there. ''

"Fine. You can think you won, but I will know I let you win." That sounded like a fair enough deal. Parker could only be nice every once in a while. Thalia should be honored. She should be honored to be in his house.

"That wasn't a joke." he said, expressionless. He truly believed he was always right. Who could blame him? His parents had brought him up to be like this, and he wasn't about to change for anyone. "I'm positive it had more to do than you hitting me with a stupid muggle book." What was that book called again? Something stupid, that's right. Parker rolled his eyes when she voiced her opinion, "If you had a brain, you would be sitting over there." he pointed in the direction of the Ravenclaws, all clad out in blue.

Parker directed his attention to the boy that called Thalia Teddy. "Teddy?" he snorted. This must be Aaron, the boy who gave her such an awful nickname. "Teddy is your nickname?" he laughed. This was good. Too good to be exact. Now Parker knew that dreadful nickname she tried so hard to keep a secret. Parker raised a brow when the boy asked Thalia a question, "How many people do you talk about me to?" he asked with amusement in his voice. "Parker Yorke," he introduced himself to the boy, "You must be Aaron. I heard about you as well."

Legend was bored. The Gyffindor table was no longer exciting to him. He wanted to check out the other tables. Walking along side the Slytherin table, it occurred to him that....

he didn't know any Slythies!

Dude....he had better meet one quickly so he didn't seem like some sort of biased Gryffindor!

He stopped walking turned, and faced a Slytherin who was sitting down. The Slytherin seemed around his age or maybe older but Legend crossed his arms and began to glare at the boy. Hopefully this would catch his attention.

Just as Art began to grow bored, someone caught his eye. It was his little camp buddy Lavi. Lavi was always good for a laugh. Art was astounded by how much Lavi was eating. I am amazed that he isn't a fat kid. Wow Lavi that is some serious munching. He stared in wonder for a moment before walking over to him. There was an empty seat next to him so Art simply took it.

"Whoa Lavi, you act like you haven't eaten in ages. I am astounded that you aren't fat my friend." Art chuckled.

Waz turned around and noticed a Gryffindor staring at him, was he recognised? ''Itee mate'' He smiled at him, looked like another fan perhaps? who knew.. Brant should be here with him.. and Geoff for that matter. ''Erm.. you okay?'' he thought it slightly weird that the lad kept on staring at him.. Was there something on Warrens face? ''Whats ya name mate?'' he asked wondering out of curiosity..

Chuckling as Art commented about his eating habits, he ate another potatoe and then placed his knife and fork down. He watched as Art sat down beside him and he poked him on the shoulder. "That's because i excercise silly" he said and poked him again. "I love football and running, i don't play football though...." he said with a blank expression on his face. "Anyways" he said while shaking his head to come back to earth. "You noticed that creepy man just then?" he asked and pointed at the professor that had walked by the Slytherin table "He just totally glared at me!" he said in shock as though it was a very big of a deal. "Like, really glared disgustedly at me when i said a hello to him!..pff !" He crossed his arms over his chest and pouted his lip. Meany man!

Slap them in the face? HA! Maybe this girl should have been a Gryffindor instead..."Well have fun with that." Evelyn smiled before turning back to...whatever she was doing before. She did not want to be apart of whatever the Professor was going to do or say, so she just kept quiet. The girl, Zoe, would probably find out who she was later on so there was no need for anymore talking. Maybe, shrinking, or falling into a black whole at the moment though...she better not lose any house points! That already happened at the lasts opening feast...

"Oh...Jeez Destiny! I just ate! I don't need that mental image right now." It was worse than watching Rex and Kay feed each other! Prettending to get sick, she snickered after a few seconds and looked up to the staff table. Iliana was there and Lawson was still at the Huffie table. Aren't they supposed to be newlyweds or something? Like...hooked to eachother?

"It is confusing." Evelyn nodded in agreement, a serious expression on her face, though she found it extremely funny. "Alright, you call Lawson, Professor Morgan, and I'll call him Professor Lawsguini." Chuckling, she placed her elbows on the table and held her head up with her hands, tired and full.

Though she perked up a bit when Josh sat next to her. "Yup, Rex is what the fun would be." she whispered to him so Rex couldn't hear, smirking. Scooting slightly closer to him, though not enough for anyone to get suspicious, she raised a brow when he mentioned the Gryffindor table. "Royalty? Like...literally?" Why didn't she know about this?!

How Drew everrrrrrrrrrrrr made it into Gyrffindor he did not know....But maybe it was a good thing because Helena had wanted it that way....Whatttt!? Was it sooo bad to crush on somebody you knew you never had a chance with and then there was also Annie. Sighhhhh Drew hoped to talk to her again soon. Anyways he had wanted to go to talk Helena soooo he found his way to the Slytherin table. He looked around and finally saw her sitting alllllll by herself and just playing around with her food lonely. Awwww should he really go over to her??? yeah probably.

Drew walked over to her trying to figure out how to let her know he was there with out scarying her. Hmmmmmm. He finally just poked her in the back. "Hey Helena!" He said with a wide smile.

AH-HA! His planned had worked. The dude had turned again. Legend continued to glare at him. "You....are a Slytherin." He stated. Yeah, JUST in case the boy himself didn't know.

"Yes I'm okay. And you...are a Slytherin." His glare hardened. Was this guy creeped out yet? He probably was. Score. "The name's Legend Chosen, Prince Legend Chosen whats yours?" The blonde said the glare faded away and was replaced by a smile. This guy seemed aright.

"I was going to wait until later. But really? YAY!" Sylvia smiled angelically as she quickly dived into the box and took out one of the cupcakes. "They're mouthwatering Blake. If you don't want me to call you kind, atleast let me call you awesome." She smiled.

Sylvia gasped at the word. "MONKEYGIRL! How dare you!" Sylvia began to laugh and sweeped her finger along the icing, before opping it into her mouth. "I think you should sniff people's armpits for calling me a monkey girl! Stinkyboy!" Sylvia laughed harder this time, even more and it would start to hurt! "We could charge for a service; Sylvia and Blake's tree shower service: showering in the great outdoors." It sounded good, and the two could make a fortune!

"Oh." Sylvia said quietly and enjoyed his little hug. "Why thankyou, I tend to do it a lot. It's rather annoying."

He stared at the girl. Just STARED at her. He was completely speechless, though his face was starting to turn red. "Five points from Slytherin and an essay on my desk by tomorrow morning outlining the proper way to address a professor," he said and before the inevitable outrage could ensue, he moved on.
He nodded. That was all. And moved on.

He glared at this child who seemed to have an unfortunate speech impediment. 'Sup'? "The proper form of address is, 'Good evening, Professor. May I inquire as to what subject you teach?' and then perhaps I would respond," Professor Duskurk said and moved on.

"A professor may inspect students whenever he or she wishes to. Fairness has nothing to do with it. It is disappointing to hear Slytherins whining about what is fair," he responded and moved on.
"Good evening. You are the first two ladies to understand the proper greeting to a professor. Two points each for Slytherin and please visit me in my office tomorrow," he smiled warmly at the two students and then started walking back to the staff table.

"'Expect the extremely unexpected.' Hm. I'll keep that in mind." Jimbo laughed, about to take another bite of his food, "What's funny? You're funny. Just chomping up your food." He laughed again.
"I do like the idea of this school though. Lots of crazy things happening here."
Just then the light in the Great hall bounced off her hair.

Ooh. Pretty.

Which translated means: Ooh. A distraction.
Oh, Jimbo. So easily distracted. His eyes glazed over, staring at the spot in her hair which had gleamed.
Then he remembered the food.

YUUUMM.

Art watched Lavi munch another potato and smiled as he put his fork and knife down. Lavi poked him in the shoulder and he chuckled. "You watch football, but don't play it?" Art said curiously. "I am not much on football. I like to run though" Art smiled.

Lavi asked if he saw a creepy man and pointed to a professor that Art had never seen. Creepy guy? What creepy guy? Oh, that creepy guy. Art looked him over for a good minute wondering which class he taught. Hmm , I don't like the vibes that I get off that guy. He is creepy.

"Eh, grumpy teacher, some are like that. Don't worry about it Lavi. He is probably just jealous of you." Art smiled. Yeah, jealous of him. More like creepy and stalker esque.

Art hoped that he was a good teacher though, as long as he was Art would like him just fine.

Dylan smiled at the Professor, "Would you like me to bow to you also, Sir?" Now this professor definately had style. He might have to attach himself to him. "I wasn't sure, as to whether you were a Professor, or something like the groundskeeper. So what do you teach Sir?"

"Do I look like a groundskeeper to you?" Professor Duskurk asked. "I have no time for the likes of you."

"Well. Anyone could be a groundskeeper. I did not think you would be. But I am new here. So I know noone," Dylan eyed the Professor. "No time for me? That doesn't sound like an appropriate approach to a student. You are meant to make time to help further my education. And here I am trying to learn the staff."
