Ok. So sry that I haven't been here lately to read any new posts, I have been really busy this week and I'm 100% nackered (that means tired). So here I am saying sory for my lateness. I loved ur last post, you nailed Voldemorts character!!!! So evil and cold. I also liked the newspaper report you wrote, very professional!!! I enjoyed it!!!


Once again so sorry for such a late post and have fun upstate with ur family this weekend and I hope the heatwave disappears soon!!!!

Chapter 28:The Moment

Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny were having lunch in the Great hall. Ginny looked over to the empty seat next to her, where Draco would have been sitting. "How's he doing?" Hermione asked sensing she was thinking about Draco. "He's doing fine. I'm going to visit him after lunch." Ginny replied. "Give our regards to him." Hermione said sincerely. Harry said "Yeah." Ron just shook his head in agreement as he stuffed his face with some ice cream. Ron had some ice cream on the side of his cheek. "You have chocolate on your face." Hermione said as she wiped the ice cream off his face. Then they all laughed together. It was good to laugh after everything they had been through this year. Harry's scar was burning alittle. Harry scratched it. Ron looked over at him curiously. "You ok mate?" Ron asked concerned. "Yeah, my scar is just hurting a bit. It's nothing." Harry replied dismissively. Hermione played with his hair, and made it even more untidy than it already was. Harry gave her a sweet kiss. Then they both enjoyed the kiss so much, that they started to make out. "Guys, please. We're trying to eat here." Ginny said sarcastically. They broke apart. "Sorry Gin. But his lips are just too hard to resist." Hermione replied. Harry smirked. They all cracked up again from that comment. The bell rang around the castle, telling everyone that lunch was over. "Yes, free period here I come." Ron said excitedly. "I'll see you guys later, I'm off to see Draco." Ginny said as she stood up from the table. Just then owls started to fly in from the opening in the ceiling. "Could these owls be any later?" Ron asked. "Better late than never, I suppose." Hermione replied as an owl dropped a letter into her lap. Ginny received a Daily Prophet newspaper. She looked at that heading in disbelief. "What is it Gin?" Harry asked her. Ginny turned over the newspaper so they could all see. Hermione read the front page article outload for them all to hear. This is what it said:

Our sources report that Draco Malfoy saved his mother from his own father. Aparently, the deceased Lucius Malfoy was abusing both his wife and son. Mrs. Malfoy's friends were very concerned about her when they stopped hearing from her. One friend said that she hadn't seen her for several days. Allegedly, Mrs. Malfoy was being held against her will in her own house. She was also being tortured and straved. She was unable to make any contact with the outside world. We found out from our sources that Draco Malfoy rescued his mother. Then had a duel with his father, where in Self-Defense he killed him. Someone who didn't want to be mentioned had this comment. "I think Draco Malfoy is a hero. The Wizarding community is in debt to him. He has ridden this world of a monster. He has also helped the Ministry Of Magic, by getting rid of one of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's followers. In my eyes, Draco Malfoy is and will always be a hero." Many people have mixed feelings about Lucius Malfoy's death, and his son's involvement in it. We were able to speak to the Minister Of Magic earlier today and he had this to say. "I personally got the truth out of Mr. Malfoy. He admitted to me what he had done. The Ministry will not be charging him at this time." All we know for now is that Mrs. Malfoy and her son are recovering.

Nobody spoke for a minute. Then Harry broke the ice. "That damn Fudge is such a liar! He's taking the credit for something Dumbledore did." Harry said outraged. Hermione gently touched his leg, and he calmed down. "I can't believe they are calling Draco a hero." Ginny said as she took the newspaper back and tucked it under her arm. "Well he really is if you think about it Gin." Ron said. Ginny smiled faintly. "I better go see Draco. Don't want to be late." Ginny said as she started leaving. Hermione waved goodbye to her. Ginny jogged to the Hospital Wing. When she made it to the door, she stopped to catch her breathe. "Oh shoot. I almost forgot. ACCIO FLOWERS!" Ginny said with a flick of her wand. Beautiful tulips appeared in her hand. She walked into the same old white painted hospital. She passed Madam Pomfrey, who was at her desk and said a quick hello. Madam Pomfrey just smiled back. First she visited Mrs. Malfoy who was sleeping. She placed the flowers on the table near her bed. Then she did something she knew she probably couldn't do if Mrs. Malfoy was awake. She bent down and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Get better for Draco. He needs you." She whispered. Then she turned to leave, when someone grabbed her arm. Ginny turned around and looked down. Mrs. Malfoy was smiling weakly at her. "No, my son needs you." She said softly. Ginny almost cried. She held back her tears, for she wanted to look strong in front of Mrs. Malfoy. "Thank you." Ginny replied as she held Mrs. Malfoy's hand for a moment. "Go see Draco now. I know he'll want to see you." Mrs. Malfoy said. Ginny nodded and went to see Draco.


The next chapter will be really, really good. I think. I hope u guys will continue to read my ff.

Ok!! i have to say.........THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!! TOP NOTCH STEPH!!!! Draco mother is recovering which is good, and again I love how you write the newspaper articles sooooooooo professional!!!!!! Harry and Hermione's moment was sweet but funny comments to add into it!! Your story has everything - I can laugh, cry, be angry and be happy all at the same. I love a story that does that!!! 110% for effort and achievement - lol.
