I truely am sorry that I didn't post yesterday. It was my brother's b-day. Me and the fam were celebrating. Sry again. I promise I will post today.

I made this long chapter b/c I wanted to leave u something before I left. I am going away for a "vacation" this week. Will be gone for a whole week.

Chapter 29:His Betrayal

Ginny went in to visit Draco, with the day's newspaper still tucked underneath her arm. Draco was awake, looking at the open window near his bed with intensity. How he so wanted to leave this hospital and step out into the brillant sun once again. Draco heard light footsteps and turned to see the cause of noise. When Draco saw Ginny with her gorgeous red hair and beautiful face, he had no choice, but to smile. "Hey." Draco said to her. Ginny sat down on the bed, so she could be close to Draco. "How are you feeling?" Ginny asked. "Ok, I guess. I will tell you this much, I never want to be in this hospital again." Draco said seriously. "Don't worry. You will be out of here in no time." Ginny replied. Draco smiled at the thought of leaving. Then, he noticed something under Ginny's arm. "What is that?" Draco asked curiously. Ginny tried to hide the newspaper. "It's nothing." Ginny said nervously. Draco looked at her suspiciously. Then, he reached out and grabbed the newspaper so fast, before Ginny had time to react. He quickly read the front page article about himself being a "hero". "They are calling me a hero?" Draco asked not believeing it. "Well, yes. Draco...I...think your a...hero too." Ginny confessed unsure. Draco got upset and tossed the newspaper out the open window. "There's nothing heroic about what I did. I'm a murderer." Draco said with anger in his voice. "No Draco. Don't say that." Ginny pleaded. "You are a hero! You saved your mother from a terrible fate." Ginny exclaimed. "Yeah, and I killed my own father in the process." Draco replied sadly. Ginny looked at him with sorrow and understanding. "I know it won't be easy, but you will forgive yourself someday. What happened was not your fault. You can't blame yourself." Ginny said as she moved her thumb up and down Draco's hand. Draco pulled his hand away from Ginny's. "You don't know what the h*** your talking about!!" Draco yelled. Ginny looked taken aback. "Draco...I" She started to say. "Get out!! I don't want you here. I said GET OUT!!" Draco screamed. Ginny began to cry because she didn't know why Draco was acting like this. She did as he wanted and left in tears.


Snape had been getting sharp twinges from his Dark Mark, so he decided not to teach class today. He knew from the pain in his Dark Mark that it was a sign from Lord Voldemort. Wormtail was as close to Hogwarts as possible. Now, all there was left to do was wait. He made sure there was no one around and then transformed into a mouse. Then he went over to a corner (so nobody would step on him lol), and continued to wait. Snape left the castle, and headed over to Knockturn Alley. He went over to the spot where Wormtail was waiting. "There you are. Now quickly, come into my hands." Snape demanded while bending down and having his hands outstretched. Wormtail slowly walked into Snape's huge hands. "If you bite me, I will hex you." Snape whispered. Wormtail made a tiny squeal of protest. Then Snape put Wormtail in his cloak pocket and made his way back to Hogwarts.


Ginny didn't go to the rest of her classes. For the first time in her life, she cut class. But she felt she needed to. Ginny just kept walking, not sure where her legs would carry her. She ended up in a hallway that isn't packed with students often. She just laid back on a wall, and slowly slid down to sit on the floor and continue to weep. Harry, Hermione, and Ron were in Snape's class. "Not that I'm complaining, but why isn't Snape teaching us today?" Harry whispered to Ron. "I have no idea. Let's just enjoy it while we can." Ron replied. Harry laughed alittle at the comment. Hermione frowned and looked at Harry and Ron. "Don't you think it's a bit odd that Snape isn't in class. I mean, when has he ever been absent from class?" Hermione asked them. "You have a good point. It is odd." Harry whispered back while pretending to do his assignment. "You think he's up to something?" Ron asked Harry. "Maybe. You know I've never trusted him. I still don't understand why Dumbledore thinks he's changed for the better." Harry answered. "Perhaps Dumbledore has his reasons." Hermione said in a Matter-Of-Fact sort of way. "I think once a Deatheater, ALWAYS a Deatheater." Harry said seriously. The bell rang and they got up to leave. That was their last class of the day. "Hey Ron, you want to go out to the Quidditch pitch and have a game or two?" Harry asked while holding Hermione's hand. "Sure mate. That sounds great right about now. Let's just go get our brooms." Ron said enthusiasticly. Hermione let go of Harry's hand. "You guys go ahead. I'm going to see if I can find Ginny." Hermione said. "Alright. See you later. I love you." Harry said with a twinkle in his brillant green eyes. Hermione smiled at him. How could she not smile when the guy she loves tells her he loves her, and not to mention he's hott. (lol *wink*) "I love you too. I want to hear all about who won later." Hermione replied. "Ok." Harry answered and then he and Ron turned and left talking about who was going to kick who's butt. Hermione walked in the opposite direction. It took her longer than she expected to find Ginny. When Hermione turned a corner, all she saw was Ginny's red hair. She heard her crying, so she ran over to her. "Sweetie, what is it?" Hermione asked concerned. "It's nothing. Just...leave...me alone." Ginny said in between sobs. "I can't leave you like this. Just tell me what happened." Hermione said as she wiped away some tears for Ginny. "Draco...he...I don't know. He's mad...at...me. I don't know...why he's so...mad at me." Ginny managed to say while still sobbing hard. Hermione gave her a comforting hug. "He's just going through a rough time right now. Everything will be alright." Hermione said as she held onto Ginny tight. "Thank you. You're always there for me." Ginny replied as her tears stopped. Hermione pulled her back and looked at her face. "That's what best-friends are for." Hermione said sweetly. They both heard loud footsteps and looked up to see Snape. "Hello Professor. Why weren't you in class today?" Hermione asked suspiciously. Snape gave her a usual look. "Not that I have to answer a question from a nosy brat like yourself, but I had something to take care of." Snape answered rudely. "Hey, you can't talk to students like that!" Ginny shouted, defending her friend. "I can do whatever I want to." Snape replied coldly. Hermione and Ginny were still on the floor, so they weren't in a good position. Before they knew it, Snape pulled out a wand and performed a stunning spell on both of them. He looked around, and made sure that he was indeed alone. Then he took Wormtail out of his pocket. Wormtail transformed into a man again. He grinned at the site of Hermione and Ginny's bodies. "Lord Voldemort...will...be pleased." He told Snape. Snape looked at him as if he were retarded. "No you idiot. Lord Voldemort will be pleased once the job is done. Now let's get moving." Snape said losing his patients. Wormtail pulled out an invisibility cloak that Voldemort had given him. He then threw it over both Hermione and Ginny, so now their bodies were invisible. Next, Snape performed a levitating spell so both bodies flew magically invisible in the air. Snape and Wormtail walked the empty hallway with much caution. "Turn back into a mouse now. Everyone still thinks I'm a regular teacher here, but if they see you everything will blow up in our faces." Snape said nervously. Wormtail did what he was told, and Snape put him back in his cloak. It was nearly dinner time, so everyone in the castle, except those in the hospital wing, were in the Great hall. Snape and Wormtail did everything with perfect timing. The huge oak doors to the Great Hall were closed because the feast had begun. So, Snape easily descended down the steps and out the front door. He was out of the grounds within minutes and quickly apparated all of them back to Voldemort.

Well it is friday. Everyone is probably out in a club or the movies. I was going to go out tonight, but I forgot I have to pack for my week away. I finished cleaning my closet today!!! I'm so excited. Now the door slides so much more easily. lol
