Hi, I'm Stephanie or Steph. This is my first ff. I hope you guys like it. Enjoy!

Chapter 1:The Dream

It's Harry's first day back at Hogwarts and he's tired from the trip. After Harry gets settled in, he quickly falls asleep. Soon after falling asleep Harry awakens from a dream very confused. In his dream he and Hermione had gone out on a date and were very into one another. At the end of the date, they kissed. I'm not talkin just a regular kiss, I'm talkin' knocked outta the ball park type kiss. There was pure magic. Electricity even.

"Whoa, what was that about?" Harry whispered over Ron's snores. People say that we dream about our deepest desires and secrets. Can Harry be secretly in love with Hermione and not know it?

The next day...
"Hey Ron, you ever had a really weird dream that freaked you out?" Asked Harry trying to be casual.

"Um, no. Not really. Why are you asking Harry?" replied Ron curiously.

"Oh no reason. Just curious I guess," said Harry nervously.

"Hey guys," said Hermione.

"Hey Hermione," Harry and Ron said together.

"Harry, you're blushing. Are you ok?" asked Hermione.

"Ah yeah. Just a little hot I guess," said Harry continuing to blush.

"Ok. I'll see you guys later. I have to meet someone." said Hermione excitedly.

"Who?" Ron demanded.

"It's none of you're concern. Bye." Hermione rushed out to meet whoever she was meeting.

"I wonder who she's meeting," Ron said curiously.

"Me too," replied Harry.

Later that evening Hermione returned to the common room with a glow about her. Harry had never noticed how beautiful she was.

"You look different, what happened?" Harry asked.

"Oh, I was just hanging out with this guy I met." Hermione said smiling.

"For seven hours?" asked Harry with a puzzled expression on his face.

"Oh, was it that long? I guess it's true what they say, time flies when you're having fun. Well good night," Hermione said continuing to smile about her wonderful day.

"Good night."

While everyone had gone off to bed, Harry remained in the common room thinking.

In Harry's Mind
What could that dream have possibily meant? Why would I dream about Hermione? Who's this guy she saw today? Man, if Hermione kisses in real life like she kissed in my dream, I wouldn't mind dreaming about her more often. Whoa, what are you thinking? It's Hermione you idiot. Remember your friend, who happens to be really attractive. It's not that weird that I find Hermione attractive is it? She is, and smart, passionate. I love the way she studies. Snap out of it you fool. It's Hermione. I wonder if she finds me attractive. After Harry thought to himself for hours, he finally dozed off still in the common room.

omg!!!! poor Hermione and Ginny!! it's soooooooooooooooooooooooo sad!!!!! And poor Draco too. i hope he's ok. I loved the chapter Steph and btw i do try and come in whenever I can. it's not because I don't want to believe me. I love this ff and wouold die if I couldn't read it. I hope you have a good week on vac. Have fun and speak to ya real soon

P.s I agree with Hermione Harry is hot!!! lol

Chapter 30:The Witness

Harry and Ron were having fun playing Quidditch. Harry was winning by 10 points. Ron made an attempt to get the snitch, but he failed and fell off his broom. He wasn't hurt though, because he was flying low to the ground. Harry burst out in laughter, Ron joined in laughing at his own bad playing. They were having so much fun together, not a care in the world. After they played some more, they decided to go back to the castle to spend time with their girl-friends. They hadn't realized that they had missed dinner.

A first year student by the name of Emily was running frantically to find either Professor McGonagall or Headmaster Dumbledore. She ran on nervous and scared, her robes flying at her side. She finally spotted Professor McGonagall and quickly ran up to her. "ProfessorSnapetookgirlsandmouseturnedintoman. " She said incoherently. Professor McGonagall looked at the tiny girl with a confused look on her old face. "Calm down Emily." She replied remembering the child's name from when she announced it during the sorting. "What did you say?" She asked her calmly. Emily calmed down and spoke up more slowly. "I saw Professor Snape take two girls. But...he wasn't alone. He pulled out a mouse, and...it turned into a man." Emily said confused. She couldn't understand how a mouse could be a man too. McGonagall now had a shocked and terrified look on her face. She always believed that Snape could be trusted, he was after all a Hogwarts teacher. "Peter Pettigrew." McGonagall said to herself. "What did the two girls look like?" McGonagall questioned. Emily thought for a moment. "One had really long red hair. I think she's a 5th year. The other, she had brown curley hair." Emily replied. McGonagall instantly knew who they were. Ginny Weasley was remarkably the only girl in school with red hair, and the other girl had to be her friend Hermione Granger. "Alright Emily. You have to come with me to see the Headmaster." McGonagall said as she led Emily the way. As she walked along side McGonagall, she looked up at her scared. "Am I in trouble?" Emily asked worried. "No dear. We just need your help." McGonagall replied as they reached the gargoyle and climbed up the steps. "Albus, something has happened." McGonagall said as she entered Dumbledore's office with Emily at her side. Dumbledore got up from his seat and went to McGonagall. "What is it Minerva?" Dumbledore asked concerned. "Please tell him what you saw Emily." She asked the little girl. "Well, I'm a first year so I wanted to find all the places in Hogwarts. I came accross this hallway that was really empty, except two girls were there. One girl was crying and the other was comforting her. I was about to go over to them when I saw Professor Snape coming. I went out of site because I didn't want to get in trouble." Emily said honestly. Dumbledore looked at McGonagall at the mention of Snape with curiousity in his eyes, but McGonagall just gave him a look saying keep listening. "Professor Snape had a few words with them, which I couldn't hear because I was out of earshot. Then out of nowhere, he pulled out his wand and did a stunning spell on both of them. I was so scared because their bodies fell down. I didn't want him to see me because I thought he would hurt me too. I don't know why I didn't just run away, it was like my feet were glued to the floor. I kept watching, out of site. He took out a mouse, which turned into a short man. The man then put a weird cloak over the girls' bodies and they disappeared. I heard from my parents about a invisiblity cloak, that must have been what it was. Then Professor Snape did another spell and I think it made those girls' bodies float in the air, because he acted like there was something there. The next thing I know, the mouse-man turns back into a mouse and they both leave." Emily finished looking at the Headmaster's shocked face. Dumbledore slowly walked back to his desk and took a seat. He didn't say anything for a moment. There was complete silence in the room. Both Emily and McGonagall were waiting for him to speak. "I trusted him. How could I have been such a fool?" Dumbledore said to himself. "We must inform the staff and The Minstry at once. Also, get The Order in on this." He ordered and McGonagall nodded her head and left at once. Emily stayed behind unsure what to do. Dumbledore stared at his collection of books thinking. He had been betrayed by someone he trusted, and two lives were in danger. Emily walked over to Dumbledore. She looked at him caringly. He turned to look at her. He had both guilt and worry in his blue eyes. "Don't worry Professor. Everything will turn out right. You'll see." Emily said. She was truly a unique 11 year old. She was innocent, good, and pure. Dumbledore faintly smiled at her wise words. "Thank you. Your parents will be proud of you when they hear what you have done. You are a very brave young girl and I am honered to have you at my school." Dumbledore said kindly. Emily was so touched by his graceous words that she hugged him. When she pulled back, she looked at him admiringly. "I'm honered to be here Sir." She said, then quietly left out the door and down the stairs. Dumbledore got up and walked over to his Phoenix bird. "Will my mistake be the end for two innocent girls?" He asked the bird.

I'm sorry, but that's all I can post today. I hope u guys like it. I can't wait to leave 2moro. I have everything packed. Whew, at least that's out of the way. Love ya all. Will miss u.

Wow! Amazing! I don't think anyone else has thought of making DUmbledore realise what an idiot he was for trusting Snape. Very original idea!
