Chapter 22:An Important Move

Ginny patiently continued to wait for Draco to wake up. She told Hermione, Harry, and even Ron that she didn't want them to miss out on their own lives. They continued to go to their classes, but made visits to the Hospital Wing. Hermione was really being a good friend. When she could, she stayed up with Ginny during the night. She would give her updates on how Gryffindor was doing on their Quidditch matches because she knew that Ginny loved Quidditch. It was 2 long days, and still Draco hadn't regained consciousness. Ginny was getting even more worried than she already was. Professor Dumbledore tried reaching Draco's parents but there was no answer at the house. "Come on Draco. Just wake up." Ginny urged on. She lost her patients a bit and shook him slightly. "Easy girl. You already rock my world." Draco said quietly. "Draco! Your awake!." Ginny said excitedly. She jumped on him and gave him the biggest hug. "What happened?" Draco asked not recalling what had brought him to the Hospital Wing. "Someone attacked you in your common room. Don't you remember?" Ginny asked. Draco thought for a moment. He saw a flash of Tom beating him up and remembered Crabbe and Goyle's betrayal. He sat up in bad. "Son of a B****!! I remember. I remember everything." Draco said angry. "you ok?" Ginny asked concerned. "No, I'm not. I can't believe that my own house members beat me up." Draco replied with disgust on his face. "Don't think about that now. It will only upset you. I'm just so happy you're awake." Ginny said with a sweet smile on her beautiful face. "How long was I out?" Draco asked with a curious expression on his face. "Two days. I was beginning to think you were never going to wake up. I was dying to see those gorgeous eyes of yours again." Ginny said sincerely. Draco laughed. "Well, here they are. Stare away." Draco said as he showed off his brillant white teeth when he smiled. Ginny laughed. It felt good to laugh. She had been so worried about Draco for 2 days! "I'm waiting." Draco said. "Waiting for what?" Ginny asked back. "Waiting for you to kiss me. I'm just too weak to get out of bed." Draco said sarcastically. Ginny just giggled and smiled. How could she be so lucky to get a great guy like him? Ginny gave Draco one of her best kisses. She kissed him as if they were about to sink on the Titanic. They were the only two people in the world. Draco may have been weak, but he threw his tongue in there. (*wink* Come on girls, You know u wanna be Ginny right now. lol) Ginny just embraced it and continued to kiss him hard on the lips. "He is such a Great kisser." Ginny thought to herself while trying to catch her breathe. Madam Pomfrey heard the noises and walked over to them and pulled over the curtains. "Excuse me." Madam pomfrey said with a frown on her face. Ginny and draco broke apart surprised to see Madam Pomfrey starring at them.

I just thought I'd be extra nice and give u another little post. It's only some of Chapter 21. Hope u like it. I would like some comments ASAP if possible. Thank you. Really, really glad u guys like it. Does anyone love it? Just wondering.

Chapter 22:Continued

Ginny got off Draco and started to blush alot. Draco didn't blush at all because he wasn't embrassed like Ginny was. He actually found this funny. He smirked as Madam Pomfrey starred at them. "This isn't that kind of place. However, I am glad to see you conscious. Visiting hours are over in 5 minutes." Madam Pomfrey said as she turned on her heels and went back to her desk. "That was awkward." Ginny said still blushing lightly on her cheeks. Draco just laughed. "Why are you laughing?" Ginny asked. "You should have seen the look on your face." Draco replied. Madam Pomfrey looked up from her paper work at her desk, and said "2 more minutes Ms. Weasley." Ginny nodded. "Well I better go. You should be getting out tomorrow. See you soon." Ginny said. She got up to leave, but Draco grabbed her arm and pulled her into a sweet and tender kiss. "You have to stop kissing me like that." Ginny whispered into his ear. "Why?" Draco asked confused. "Because I never want to let you go. I love you." She said back. "I love you more." Draco said with a grin. Ginny left, but didn't really want to. If it was her choice, she would have stayed there all night making out with her hott boyfriend.

Once again, Draco was released from the Hospital Wing. He was grateful to be out of there. He hated staring at the same white walls of the Hospital Wing. Ginny wanted Draco to go with her to see Dumbledore. He agreed only to make her happy. Harry had told Ginny the password just in case. As they were just about to knock on his door, he said "Come in." Ginny and Draco both thought how could Dumbledore possiblely know that they were right outside his door. "Maybe he can see through things like Mad Eye Moody." Draco thought to himself. "Hello Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Weasley." Dumbledore said with a kind voice. "I want to inform you that the Order and myself are deeply sorry that you were attacked. We are doing everything we can to find your attacker." Dumbledore said with determination in his eyes. "Thanks. Just so you know, it was more than one person that attacked me." Draco said with anger in his voice. "I thought so. I wonder, can you give me the names of your attackers?" Dumbledore asked. Ginny looked at Draco. She was worried that if he gave up his attacker's names, they would come back to hurt him even worse. "Draco, maybe it's betterif you didn't say anything." Ginny said worried for his safety. "No it's not. If I don't give up their names, they won't get caught. They will try to hurt us again, or worse. I have too. To protect you." Draco said bravely. Ginny looked so honered. She gave Draco a small reassuring smile. "I admire your bravery Mr. Malfoy." Dumbledore said while smiling slightly. "It was a pack of Slytherins who ganged up on me. There was Richard Weasel, Justin Globbs, Jacob Stares, Tom Wells, Kevin Chop, Jamie Gross, Crabbe, and Goyle." Draco said with disgust and disbelief. "Pansy Parkinson and her best-friends, Cassie Oger, and Christina Chubby or C.C. for short." Draco said with alittle laugh because these people had funny names. Ginny had to stop herself from laughing. Dumbledore stayed with a straight face. "Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot about Tom Ashmore. Their "new leader". He's the one who did the Unforgiveable Curse on me." Draco said heated as he clenched his fist together. "It's ok Draco." Ginny said reassuringly. "Thank You Mr. Malfoy. This will help a great deal. You will be informed the moment they are captured. Now if there's nothing else, you may both go." Dumbledore replied. Ginny started to head out the door. "Wait. There is something." Draco said hopeful. Ginny turned around and went back to her seat and looked at Draco in wonderment. "What can I do for you Mr. Malfoy?" Dumbledore asked. "I know it's never been done before, but can I get switched to a different house?" Draco asked eagerly. "You're right Draco. That has never been done before. Under the circumstances, I believe that is a good idea. I am assuming that there are still many Slytherins left that may want to cause you some serious harm. I trust you want to move to Gryffindor to be with Ms. Weasley?" Dumbledore asked. Ginny kept listening intently. She couldn't believe what was happening. Draco smiled as he looked at Ginny. "Yes Sir. Gryffindor would be fine with me." Draco replied grinning. "Very well. As Headmaster of Hogwarts, I now make you a member of Gryffindor house. Accio robes." Dumbledore said with a flick of his wand. A pair of brand new Gryffindor robes appearedin Dumbledore's hands. He smiled at Draco, for he admired how much Draco had changed that year. "I think you have some robes to try on." Dumbledore said as he handed Draco the robes. "Thank you Sir. I really appreciate this." Draco said as he took the robes and starred at them for a few seconds. Draco grabbed Ginny's hand and left Dumbledore's office. He went straight to the boys washroom. Ginny waited outside of course.The robes were a perfect fit. Draco looked at himself in the mirror for a second. He made his hair look even more adorable. "I make this look good." He thought to himself. He grinned and went back to Ginny.

Great Post! It sure is a switch to see Draco become a Gryffindore! By the way, most peoples names have some kind of root meaning. Get on a name search site on the internet, try things like name meanings, etc and see what you come up with. My name is uniquely Native American, or, American Indian might be said more elsewhere. My relatives have roots back to Crazy Horse, the great Sioux leader who fought General George Armstrong Custer along with Sitting Bull and I also have Cheyenne Indian blood as well. Smushed in between is some Norwegian. PAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 23:The Exit

"Well? How do I look?" Draco asked while spinning so Ginny could see him fully in his new robes. "You look hot." Ginny replied with a seductive smile. Draco smiled back. He wanted her so badly. He just gave her an extraordinary kiss. After she caught her breath, she had the biggest smile on her face. She still couldn't believe that Draco Malfoy was in Gryffindor now. He was as Slytherin as they came. She just continued to smile at him, because she admired how much he had changed for her. They decided to get it out of the way and go back to the Slytherin common room for the very last time. It was completely empty. Draco got his stuff and they went to the Gryffindor common room. Draco felt like this is where he truely belonged. When he went up to the dorm, he found a newly added four-poster bed. He unpacked his stuff and took out his old Slytherin robes. Draco looked them up and down. He couldn't really remember a time in his life when he wasn't a Slytherin. Even before he was sorted, he was destined to be a Slytherin. Every single person on Draco's family tree was a Slytherin. What would his parents think of him now that he was a Gryffindor? Draco sighed as he put his old robes at the very bottom of his trunk. Being a Slytherin was his past. Now, Ginny was his future. He quickly decorated his four-poster bed and went back down to the common room.

To his surprise and luck, only Ginny was in there. She was sitting by the fire on the most comfortable sofa. Draco sneaked up on her and surprised her with a lovely French kiss. Ginny wrapped her arms around him and they continued to make out. Their kissing started to get heated up and Ginny stopped it before it went too far. Draco looked at her disappointed, for he wanted her so much he could taste it. "Why did you stop?" Draco asked amazed that anyone would push him away. He has gotten kissing compliments alot from girls back home. "I could kiss you forever, but we had to stop. Draco, I want to wait till marriage." Ginny said nervously. "Oh. That's fine with me. I actually respect that." Draco said at a unsure faced Ginny. "Oh Draco! Your so sweet. I'll love you forever." Ginny said. "I will love you always." Draco replied. Then they continued to kiss, but not so passionately to avoid going to far. The portrait door swung open and somebody came in, but Ginny and Draco were alittle too preoccupied with eachother to notice. "What the h***?!" Yelled Dean Thomas. Draco and Ginny broke apart startled. "What is he doing here?" Dean asked Ginny with Jealousy in his eyes and voice. "Why is that any of your business Thomas?" Draco asked suspiciously. "Ginny's my girlfriend!" Dean yelled back. Draco looked taken aback. "I was your girlfriend. Remember, I broke up with you." Ginny answered as if trying to recover his memory. "I meant to say Ex-Girlfriend. Ginny I still have feelings for you." Dean confessed. He walked over to her and looked deep into her eyes. "Take me back. You deserve alot better than this pathetic scum." Dean said as he shot a look at Draco in disgust. "I'm sorry Dean, but I won't take you back. Not now, not ever . I'm with Draco now." Ginny said proudly. "Have you gotten the hint, or do you need her to paint you a picture?" Draco said sarcastically. Dean clenched his fists together. "Why don't you get the h*** out of here and go back to your stupid Slytherin common room?!" Dean said as he pointed to the door. Draco smirked. "This is my common room now. I'm here to stay." Draco said as he crossed his arms across his chest and grinned broadly. Dean had a stupid and losted expression on his face. He looked like Crabbe and Goyle for a moment. "What the bloody h*** are you talking about Malfoy?" Dean asked as his anger grew. "It's offical. I'm in Gryffindor now. Dumbledore made the change himself." Draco explained. Ginny stayed silent as she watched her Ex and current boyfriend fighting over her. "I can't believe this s***! I have to look at your ugly face for 1 more year?!" Dean said as his face turned red with anger and fury. He stormed out of there before he did something he would regret. He was too young to go to Azkaban. Draco smirked in victory. "I can't believe him. He knows why we broke up, it just didn't click between us. Like I would ever leave you for him." Ginny said with a tiny smile on her face. Draco pulled her in close to him. Their noses were barely touching. He starred into her eyes with intensity. "Now where were we before we were rudely interrupted?" Draco asked. "Here." Ginny said as she pulled Draco in strongly. They made-out some more and then just cooled off. Draco respecting Ginny's decision about waiting till marriage, started a conversation about his plans when he got out of Hogwarts. Harry, Hermione, and Ron entered the common room. They were laughing because Harry had said something funny. Ron stopped laughing and Harry and Hermione just went silent. Draco made the first move. "Hello there Ron." Draco said holding out his hand for Ron to shake. Ron stood there dumbfounded. Ginny punched him lightly on the arm. Ron snapped out of it. He shook Draco's hand slowly, with his mouth opened alittle. "You're not mad at me.... Draco?" Ron asked unsure. Draco smiled, and Ron sighed a sigh of relief. "I understand why you beat me up. You were just protecting your baby sister." Draco said. "I still can't believe that Ron Weasley beat me up." Draco thought to himself. "So we're okay?" Ron asked hopeful, he had actually considered Draco a friend now. "Yeah, were fine." Draco replied. Ginny smiled happyily that they had made up over the misunderstanding. Draco told them what had happened in Dumbledore's office. They couldn't believe that he was now in Gryffindor. They were very welcoming to Draco's delight. Draco even told them everything about what his father had done to him, while squeezing Ginny's hand gently. Ron had a guilty look on his face. "Don't worry about it mate. You didn't know." Draco said. "Thanks. I always thought you're father was cruel, but I never thought that he would hurt his own son, not to mention your mother." Ron replied uncomfortably. Draco put a frown on his face. "I have to save my mother. God only knows what he will do to her." Draco said with worry on his face. "We will help you. It will be easier if you have more back-up." Ginny said as she touched Draco's cheek lovingly. "No you won't. That's just the opportunity my father needs to harm you. I won't be the reason of losing you." Draco said while looking deep into Ginny's beautiful green eyes. He could see deep into her soul. "But..." Ginny started to say but got cut off. "But nothing. I have to face my father alone. I love you too much to lose you now." Draco said, then he gave Ginny the most passionate kiss he had ever given her. It could be their last kiss. Harry looked at Draco admiringly. "Good luck mate. Be careful." Harry said and then he actually hugged Draco goodbye. They had a good friendship that no one could ever think possible. "Thanks. Hermione..." Draco said as he moved to Hermione. "I would never have thought in a million years that we would become friends, and good friends at that. You have taught me that having a good friend is one of the most important things in the world. I respect you and wish you the best with Harry." Draco said as he gave Hermione a friendly kiss on the cheek. He shook hands with Ron and Ron wished him good luck as well. Then Draco turned to Ginny once more. He pulled her to the side. "You are the best person I've ever known. You've taught me so much. You have taught me about honesty, friendship, and most importantly love. I have never known true love until you. I love you with all my heart." Draco said as a single tear fell down his cheek. Ginny had never seen Draco cry before. "I love you too." Ginny whispered. She began to cry too. "I will never love anyone else, like I love you. Just be careful and come back to me." Ginny said. Draco wiped away her tears. He gave her another sweet kiss. "I'll come back to you just for those sweet lips of yours." Draco said sarcastically trying to lighten up the mood. Ginny managed to laugh. Draco gave her a big hug and then left with his head held high. Hermione tried to comfort her friend as best she could. All Ginny said is "What if I never see him again?"


Sry about the cliffy. The next chapter will be really good, I think. I really enjoyed writing this chapter. I kept looking at the screen, because I couldn't believe that I had written this myself. lol
