About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.

First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

"Hey Ronnie, you okay? Do you see Rose much? I haven't seen nor talked to her in ages. I can't even remember seeing her at school last term, but since I left through most of it, that's not saying much."

Ronnie looked at Minnie and nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. Just thinking." she said. Then she frowned. "No, I haven't seen her in forever!" she said with a frown. "I was really looking forward to seeing her again. But...she's no where to be found." she said with a sigh.

"Yeah I think she likes him too.. Leelee you need to find out and soon whether you or Edward were involved in tracking this someone.. that way you know whether it can ruin friendships or not" he smiled hoping that Leelee or Edward were not involved

I really missed Hogwarts so my parents let me move back with my brother, Rupert." she explained. "And now he doesn't have room for me so I had to move back with my parents but....they...didn't want me around anymore apparently so they put me up for adoption and now I have a new father and brother. They're both really nice." she said smiling.

Minerva smiled "Well I have never been one not to have fun." she took his hand, "Let's dance." she took a few steps away from the radio then began to dance with Damon. "Thanks for asking me to dance." She looked around hoping maybe more would dance as well.

He smiled back, dancing with her. Not really sure if he looked like a fool or not, but he didn't hear people laughing, so that was a good sign, "Thank you for saying yes."

Harvey smiled "I know what you mean.. I met Minnie and a couple of other girls on the train.. but it was mostly Minnie that I hung out with until she got me talking to other people. I guess they get us socialising again" he chuckled as he remembered how Minnie had wanted him talk to other people from his house.. once he was back at school he may have that chance.

Harvey smiled "You bored or something?" he asked.. as she seemed to look it.. "Come on lets have a friendly dance.. that way we wont be bored" he said to her as he offered her his hand to lead her to the dancefloor. Harvey shook his head "No it isnt just you.. I wasnt upto talking to other people cause I knew Mins and we hung out all the time.. then she got me introduced to other people and hanging around her.. there was always people.. so I always ended up meeting new people. " he smiled as he remembered she introduced him to Ame, Ronnie and Justin before others came along as well.

Harvey saw Ameliah enter the house.. and he couldnt help but smile as she awww'd at Mins and Damon dancing.. "Hey Ameliah.. good to see that you are here" he smiled.. it seemed he was saying that to alot of people today but what was one more.

And just then, Harvey asked her.
Ronnie smiled. "A little bored." she said shrugging. She smiled shyly and felt her heart flutter as he asked if she wanted to dance. Oh no. She still liked him.

"Sounds good to me." she said, blushing a little and taking his hand and following him to the dance floor. She smiled as he said Ella could join too. She nodded eagerly. "Yeah Ella! All 3 of us!" she said.

"I will make sure to thank her." Minerva smiled. Damon caught her off guard by dipping her and she laughed as he pulled her back up. "Your good. Maybe if I ever get back into the competitions, I could talk into being my partner..My last one..well didn't turn out so well."

Damon shook his head, "You have no idea how shocking it is that I'm still here." He chuckled, "I seriously don't talk to people. I've kinda learned that my... style kinda scared people away. Now she's making me doubt that people were just avoiding me because of it."

Ameliah grinned at Harvey. "Hey Harvs!" she felt really happy to see him. Even more than usual. Weird... "It's great to see you too!" she smiled warmly. She laughed at Minnie's blush but blushed herself when Mins said she had to dance. She looked at Harvey. "C'mon, then, Er Boy." she grabbed his wrist.

She thought of Albert and frowned for a second, then smiled and twirled herself around with his hand again.

Harvey smiled as she greeted him and then he heard Mins tell Ameliah to bring him to the dancefloor.. he just looked at Mins in shock.. she did not just say that.. but before he could say anything else he felt himself being led to the dancefloor.. "Er... ok" he was nervous as he followed her to the dancefloor.

Minerva shrugged, "He was a jerk, at least you wouldn't be that." "Its ok.. I was kind of bored anyways.. its ok we all have our different styles" he smiled as he followed Trinity step by step.. having not done this dance before.

Harvey nodded "Oh right I see.. ok.. Yeah thats what I mean.. talk to her and many others turn up.. well yeah it can be exhausting sometimes" he smiled as Minnie talked to him Harvey shook his head "I wouldnt scare anyone away Mins." he smiled before he went a little pink with her next comment and he saw her wink "They asked or dragged me out here.. I couldnt exactly say no.. now could I? cause that would just be rude of me" he smiled a little shyly as he realised that he had indeed danced with a few girls here.

Harvey smiled as he danced with Ameliah.. and scratched his head a little nervous at her comment "Yeah.. I think... you can let that one.. er.. slide.. and er.. that one.. and that... one" he chuckled as he realised he was getting a little shy and nervous with Ameliah.. why that was he didnt know.. he had hung out with her many times.. and been just fine.. but somehow it felt different and he couldnt help but feel a little nervous around her right now.

Minerva laughed "Oh we will see. I remember a certain Harvey saying the same thing once and I think I am still surprising him at times. I could go get some toffee if you want some new fun. Harvs love the toffee, don't ya." she thought she told Damon about giving Harvey the tongue growing toffee, but maybe she didn't.
