About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.

First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

Leelee looked towards the door, "No, I will go out and see what he is up to, but thank you." This was a good place to speak with him. She headed out the front door to look for Edward.

Leelee walked outside and saw her brother sitting on the step. "So you hiding from all the kids or hiding from yourself?" she crossed her arm tapping her foot at him.

Edward heard the familiar footsteps coming up from behind him.
" Sister, still trying to sneak up on me , eh? No. I'm not hiding from anyone. I called Gabriela to ask her to join us. I'm simply waiting for her arrival. " he said smuggly.

"Dont tell me he has gone and got himself another girlfriend!!" he mumbled to himself "This has to be your 4th in the last 3years.. just when you tell a kid to concentrate on his schooling he goes and does this" he continued mumbling as he watched Harvey from afar.. not wanting to embarrass the boy... just yet

Ameliah's eyes brightened. "That's great to know!" she couldn't stop grinning and staring into his eyes. OHMIGOSH OHMIGOSH OHMIGOSH!!! Was this really happening? It only took one night... to realize she liked him... for them to get this close....

Yes she knew that would get his attention. "I wanted to hear her true feelings about what we do." she frowned "and it's not pretty. Edward do you remember the name McIntyre at all?" She ignored his comment about bringing Minerva to him, he needed to think about this first. She didn't want to ruin anymore of Minerva's life.

Leelee's heart sunk, no, no he was suppose to say no. "I don't know, maybe.. They had a child kidnapped and..well the girl died. Three of the sisters are in our house right now and the boy Minerva likes is a cousin. Please tell me we were not on that case."

"What are you going to say to her, you don't need to say anything. She knows what we do and now she knows what happens sometimes after our job is done. "So... what are you going to tell this amazing girl to say to the amazing boy... to tell him that maybe things could work out.. maybe they should... give it a shot" he was very nervous.. were they really going to get together? or was this just all talk and doing nothing about it.

Ameliah smiled. "That...that she thought she liked him at first...but she's sure now...and that she needs to trust the connection she's feeling." she said sort of nervously. It felt weird that they were talking about themselves in the third person...but maybe they weren't? Maybe Harvs thought we were talking about different people.... Nah. I'm sure he knows me better than that. She had so many thoughts going at once.... it made her dizzy.
