About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.
First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

Leelee got up and left the room. She came back and tossed him a holster. "Put this on around your stomach, the wand will go in at your back. So then it's closer to your hand, but still not showing." she pulled her shirt up to show her stomach as she did she put on the same exact holster and placed her wand in it. Fixing her clothes and making sure it wasn't obvious her wand was on the back she felt a little better. She was never nervous for an interview why was she starting to feel nervous. Then she looked at Daniel, could he be the reason. She shook it off. Looking at the clock, "Almost 8 the woman will be here soon."

Daniel watched as she got up and came back with a holster.. he nodded as he stood up and pulled up his shirt to put on his holster.. and took his wand out of his sock and put it into its holster as he watched Leelee do the same and fix her clothes.. he calmed himself down as she did this.. he smiled as she looked at him and then looked at the clock.. he too looked at the clock.. "Yeah" he looked at her "We are armed and ready" he said as he composed himself.. he was ready to battle if he had to.. it had been a very long time since he had battled anyone.. the downside of working with muggles.. but he would battle anyone to protect himself and the people he loved in this case.. Leelee opened the drawer in the coffee table and pulled out a quill and parchment. The quill sprung to life and the parchment lifted. "This is easy then trying to take my own notes on the interview." she then moved some pictures and placed them inthe closet. Looking around she made sure no ones faces other then hers and Daniels would be shown. Every step was necessary every time, her mind went back to the one time she had let her guard down it almost cost her everything. "We will do the interview in this room, I want you sitting in this chair. It can be the fastest out the back if needed." Daniel was standing and she walked over to him. "You ok? I know this is a lot to take in."

Daniel watched as she went around preparing for their interview with this woman.. hiding pictures out of view.. making sure everything was perfect and that there would be no proof of any other person except him and Leelee.. he looked at the chair and the door and looked at her and nodded that he understood that he was to sit there.. he watched as she came over to him "It may be a lot to take in.. but this is a part of your life.. just the way I am a part of your life.. so I going to embrace this.. cause I told you I love you.. and this is what you do.. so I am going accept all this.. its your job.. though its my first time seeing you do all this.. but I will get the hang of it.. and plus" he held both her shoulders "with you by my side.. I know.. you wont let anything happen to me.. just the way I wouldnt let anything happen to you" he smiled and kissed her forehead.. "I am ok.. and I'm ready" he smiled once again.. as he looked at the clock again.. and then Leelee. They were ready for the interview.

Daniel looked at the clock again and then Leelee "Yeah some people dont know the meaning of punctuality.. lets sit down and wait.. standing up may make you feel tense and I dont think you want to show her you are tense.. right?" he questioned her before he sat down.. he didnt pat the seat next to him.. just in case she preferred to stand.. while he was sat down.. he mentally prepared himself.. there was no limit to the amount of preparation you could do.

Leelee went against her usual and sat down next to him. It's not like she would see her sitting relaxing. The woman would have to knock and Leelee would have to answer.
Occ: Didn't see your post...
Leelee just sat down and heard a knock. "Show time" she said to Daniel and pointed to the chair. She got up and fixed her self. As she walked to the door she took a deep breath. Calm down Leelee you have never been nervous. She opened it. 'Good Evening, please come in."

Daniel smiled as Leelee sat down.. but it wasnt long before he heard a knock on the door.. and he looked at Leelee and heard her say showtime was all she said before he sat in the chair that he was told to sit in and waited for Leelee's client to come in and the interview to start. He watched as Leelee welcomed the woman into the house

Leelee gave a small grin and showed the woman to the living room. "Please be seated. I will have my quill taking all the notes." She glanced at Daniel she didn't even bother introducing him. "Now could you please tell me whom it is that we are looking for?"
Lucretia sat obediantly, though it went against her will. She was NOT going to mess this up. "My niece, Ameliah Black. She ran away when she was eight. I am unsure of her whereabouts, so I decided to come to you."

Leelee cringed hearing the first name she never wanted to know the first name. "Where was the last time you saw her and do you have any clue what country she maybe in?"
Lucretia thought for a moment. "She should be in this country. Last I saw her was at home. If it helps, she is now twelve and should be at her second year of Hogwarts. I daresay she has taken a new surname, such as from adoption." she suggested.

Ahh she is doing the work for Leelee that was good. So many people didn't say a thing and that just annoyed her. "So she could be at Hogwarts." Leelee frowned "This could take longer if she is there. That is the only place we can not track. Do you know exactly which agency would have done the adoption?"

Leelee checked to make sure the quill was getting everything. Then her head snapped "I'm sorry did you say McIntyre?" was that family involved with everything. She was so in the moment of getting details she did not think about the match of the names from Minerva's party. "Could you give a description of the young lady and did you bring the picture I ask you to in my owl?"
Lucretia handed LeeLee a picture of Ameliah at eight years old as she described her niece. "Her hair is red in the picture, but her natural hair color is black. She's Irish, so she has a touch of the accent."

Leelee looked at the picture "This is your niece?" why did she look so familiar to Leelee. She started to walk the living room in thought. Something was hitting her, but she couldn't figure it out. "She would be 12, at hogwarts. "Did you go to hogwarts? What house was your family in mostly?" Asking that could always help connect the person with others the same age.
Lucretia nodded to confirm. "Yes. I went to Hogwarts too, my entire family was in Slytherin. Even her parents, who are dead now." there was a mournful pause, "But she was always a little rebel, so I should assume she is either in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff."

Daniel listened as the two women spoke.. questions were asked and details were given.. he did what he said... he stayed quiet and didnt say a word.. but then he slowly sat up and started paying attention when a name was said.. the very name whose file they had been looking for not that long ago.. the McIntyres.. he didnt look at Leelee.. he just acted normally as if that name had no meaning for him and he had never heard it before.. but he and Leelee knew otherwise but this woman didnt need to know that.. all she needed to know was that Leelee was questioning her and would maybe take on her case.. but he couldnt shake from his mind that this family was involved in another of Leelee's cases. He continued listening very silently to the two women talk .. one questioning the other answering.. not saying a word at all.. as promised

Leelee was still moving around the room thinking and plotting what was going on. Why was this girl seeming so familiar. Then it hit her, the night started playing through her head. No it could not be the same. She looked at the woman for a second. Maybe the price would be to much. "Okay this is how it will work. You do not call us, we contact you, you will never know our first names, so never ask. I will take my notes and begin my search, but it will be 1000 galleons. Would you still like us to take this case?"

Leelee never lost composure, she never left the small grin she started with. Her professional face was one of her specialties. Inside she was starting to unravel, if this girl was who she thought it was, this day just got even more complicated. How could her easiest case become her hardest. "Well then Miss Black, our interview is over. I have got all the information I need for now. I will get started on this as soon as my brother comes back in town. We do ask for half the price in the next few days then the last when we hand you the information to where your niece can be found. We do not get your niece if you need that done you will have to find someone else. We find the location and that is all." she always had to make that completely clear.
Lucretia nodded curtly. "I am fully aware of the conditions. Thank you." she walked out, slightly comforted at these words. Her niece would be found, before things could get out of hand...unless it did already? Has she discovered her father's powers?
