Ferris followed after his girlfriend with an amused shake of his head, almost disbelieving of her sometimes. He let out a soft chuckle, finally catching stride with her and smiling down at her as they made their way back down the street toward the hotel. "So," he started, eyes on the girl, "Are you going to tell me what you went to get?" he asked, thinking back to that mischeivous smile she had on her face before she had left him. It worried him a bit, and made him all the more curious.

Gryffindoll 11-03-2009 03:50 AM

Vianna turned to Ferris as the boy caught up with her hurried steps (which probably weren't that difficult to catch up with for someone his height), and giggled as he asked her what she had run off to get only a few moments ago. "I'll tell you once we're in the hotel," she told him with a smile, quite eager to get there already. "Besides! You always do this to me - tell me that you have a surprise for me and then make me wait for it. Now you can see how it feels!" she added before sticking her tongue out at him like a spoiled child before looking ahead at the crowded streets.

emmafan123 11-03-2009 03:58 AM

Ferris scowled playfully as the girl told him that she wouldn't tell him until they were back at the hotel, pointing out the many times he had surprises for her and wouldn't tell her. "Yeah, but when you have to wait, you're cute and all excited," he explained as though this was something she should've already known, "When you make me wait, there's no point. I just stand here and poke you until you tell me." He poked her for emphasis, but it didn't matter much anyway because they had already reached the lobby of the hotel. He opened the door for her as he always did.

Gryffindoll 11-03-2009 04:01 AM

Vianna's eyebrows rose as Ferris explained to her the difference between making her wait and making him wait. "Oh really?" she said before giggling as the boy started poking her. She then entered the lobby as the boy held the door for her before breaking into another race across its shiny tiled floor. "C'mon!" she said, taking Ferris's hand and dragging him across the lobby and to the elevator where she impatiently waited for the doors to open before bursting inside once they did.

emmafan123 11-03-2009 04:05 AM

Ferris let out a laugh as he was being dragged once again, this time towards the elevator at Vianna's speedy pace. He quickly caught stride with her (which wasn't hard with his long legs). "Vianna, you wouldn't happen to be excited or anything, would you?" he asked her teasingly as they entered the empty elevator, grinning at her before waiting for the elevator to come to a halt. It finally did, and Ferris stepped out onto their floor with Vianna's hand still intwined with his.

OOC: Off for twenty minutes or so! :)

Gryffindoll 11-03-2009 04:08 AM

Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly as Ferris teased her. "Maybe a little," she replied with a smile before following the boy's lead out of the elevator and into the long, familiar hallway of the hotel. On instinct, she headed over to the door in the middle. But remembering Vince's relocation project, the girl took a step to Ferris's door instead, waiting for him to open it.

ooc: Okay! ^_^

emmafan123 11-03-2009 04:28 AM

Ferris let out the softest of chuckles as Vianna nearly went for what was her old door before moving on to his. He let out a small sigh though, wishing her room was still close to his. He quickly opened the door to the hotel room, allowing them entry and setting the bags over in the kitchen. "Okay, show me what you got!" he said, nearly bouncing on his heels as he returned to the girl's side.

Gryffindoll 11-03-2009 04:35 AM

Vianna giggled lightly at Ferris's enthusiasm before heading over to the kitchen and setting down her own bags. "Well... since we're going to be cooking," she started slowly, her hands now on one specific bag. She paused for a moment and gave Ferris a mischievous smile before suddenly pulling the contents from the bag. "I figured... every good cook needs an apron!" she said with a grin before handing Ferris his. "Now, I know what you're going to say, but if you're going to help me even in the slightest, I'd rather you don't get your clothes dirty. And you should be grateful I didn't get you a hat and some cooking gloves too - I was really tempted to get 'em!" she added with a giggle.

emmafan123 11-03-2009 04:39 AM

Ferris's face fell at the sight of the apron which Vianna had picked out for him, eyeing it as though it might explode soon. An apron?! "You're really bad at surprises Vi," he accused, letting out a child-like pout. "At least when I surprise you, something good comes for you..." he said, but he let out a sigh eventually, knowing the girl wanted him to wear it. "But if it makes my girlfriend happy, I will wear the apron. I will help cook the food. And when this is all over I will go back to my room all alone, and not be beaten up by the Vincenzi brothers. And hopefully, with these many sacrifices I make for us, I earn the title of your favorite boyfriend of all time," he was obviously joking now, walking towards the girl and wrapping an arm around her.

OOC: I've gotta go now Dee! :( Byeeeee! :bye:

Gryffindoll 11-03-2009 04:45 AM

Vianna couldn't help but giggle at Ferris's obvious disappointment with her surprise, completely amused as this was exactly the reaction she was expecting. She listened to his complaints with stifled laughter and turned a little more quiet as the boy went on, now listing all the things he would do and the reward he expected for all his sacrifices. Vianna raised her eyebrows at him and then smiled. "You already earned that title, silly," she told him, leaning over to place a kiss on his cheek before pulling on her own apron. "Oh, and by the way, I have no idea what they say, I couldn't find any without words," she added, referring to the French words on their apron that obviously made no sense to the girl.

ooc: Aww, byyyeeee, Ruthersss! :bye:

emmafan123 11-03-2009 10:11 PM

Ferris grinned as she told him that he had already earned the title of her favorite boyfriend, happy to receive the kiss on his pale cheek. He released her waist, letting out a small sigh as he picked up his own apron, reluctantly putting it on himself and then realizing that there were indeed French words on the front. He let out a light laugh as he read them, "Mine says 'Kiss the chef', and yours appears to say..." he trailed off, falling into a fit of laughter.

Gryffindoll 11-03-2009 10:34 PM

Vianna blindly tied the apron behind her neck and back before returning her attention to the boy before her. She grinned at the sight of Ferris in an apron, it was definitely not something she got to see everyday and it was rather amusing. She listened as he then translated the words on his own apron; the girl raised her eyebrows slightly at this and watched him go into a fit of laughter just as he was about to translate hers. Vianna's brows furrowed. "What? What is it? What does it say?!" she asked, looking down at her apron and reading the words silently to herself, as if she could somehow miraculously understand them.

emmafan123 11-04-2009 01:47 AM

Ferris finally contained himself, standing up straight with a deep breath, "I-It says...'I'm 60, and still cookin'!" He fell into another bout of laughter, unable to hold it in now, looking at Vianna in the apron. He grinned at her apologetically, attempting to conceal his laughter and wrapping an arm around her. "You look so young for a 60-year-old, Vi," he teased her endearingly, cocking his head to the side jokingly with a smile.

Gryffindoll 11-04-2009 01:51 AM

Vianna's jaw dropped and she gasped as Ferris translated the foreign words on her apron to her. "Six--sixty?!" she said, bewildered. She looked down at her apron and made a face of disapproval. "Maybe aprons weren't such a good idea after all," she muttered before turning to the boy before her. But as she saw the amusement in his face as he tried not to laugh, she couldn't help but chuckle softly, shaking her head slightly. "I told you cooking was a good idea, you're laughing already!" she teased, giving him an amused smile.

emmafan123 11-04-2009 01:55 AM

Ferris could only grin as she mentioned that aprons possibly weren't the best idea, soon after pointing out that cooking was definitely a good idea as it had already gotten him laughing. "I'm not laughing because of the cooking, I'm laughing because I just found out my girlfriend was a senior citizen," he teased her jokingly, grabbing the bags off the table and heading into the kitchen with an amused smile still on his face. "And I thought I was the older one in this relationship!" he called back to her teasingly over his shoulder as he entered the kitchen.

Gryffindoll 11-04-2009 02:00 AM

Vianna couldn't help but giggle as Ferris continued teasing her, this time accusing her of being a senior citizen. The young girl pushed him gently, playfully before he then disappeared into the kitchen. She looked down at her apron one last time before heading into the kitchen as well as Ferris then called out how he thought he was the older one in the relationship. Vianna's jaw dropped in mock offense, though a smile curved her lips. "You're having too much fun, Professor!" she said as she entered. "And for that, you're going to have to do even double the work now!"

emmafan123 11-04-2009 02:05 AM

Ferris let out a laugh as she accused him of having too much fun, and then assigning him to double the work. "No, no, no, that's not how it works!" he contradicted, setting the bags on the counter and starting to unpack things. "Besides, you don't want me to do too much, I'll burn something down." He let out a light laugh, amused with the girl before him, and everytime he looked back at her he had to let out a laugh at the apron he saw.

Gryffindoll 11-04-2009 02:09 AM

Vianna narrowed her eyes slightly at Ferris as he immediately denied the task of doing double the work. "Oh no, you're cooking whether you like it or not, Professor!" she said, helping him unpack the rest of the things before setting the empty plastic bags aside. As the counter was cleared from all messes and only the necessary ingredients lay on it, Vianna smiled. She then got a hold of the cooking book and opened it. "Alright, let's start - correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we have to start by heating the chicken first, right?" she said, glancing down at the French book though she felt pretty sure this was the correct first step.

emmafan123 11-04-2009 02:14 AM

Ferris gave her a look that read, 'let's see you try to make me' as she told him he would be cooking whether he liked it or not. He watched as she looked at her ingredients before asking if the first step involved heating the chicken. He quickly picked up the cook book into his lanky arms, switching to the correct page and reading off the first step, "Yeah, that appears to be what you do first," he agreed with a nod, then taking a step back to stand next to the corner of counter. He was a good several feet away from the stove and intended to stay there.

Gryffindoll 11-04-2009 02:20 AM

Vianna grinned as Ferris confirmed her guess to be correct. The young girl then proceeded to unwrap the chicken. She then began searching for the flour, salt, and pepper, when it dawned on her... Ferris had almost completely disappeared from sight. The girl turned only to find him standing by another counter, feet away. "I didn't know standing doing nothing and looking pretty was part of the recipe!" she teased him. "Come, help me season it," she told him.

emmafan123 11-04-2009 02:23 AM

Ferris gave a reluctant half smile as Vianna mentioned her disbelief that standing doing nothing and looking pretty was part of the recipe; amused by her words but unwilling to cook. Though, he told her he would, so he took a couple steps closer, then a few more, until he was at her side staring at the chicken as though it might come back to life and scold them for trying to season it. "What exactly is involved in...seasoning things?" he asked her naively, possibly the first time in their relationship when Ferris was the naive and wide eyed one.

Gryffindoll 11-04-2009 02:27 AM

Vianna smiled as Ferris hesitantly joined her side before asking her what was involved in seasoning things. The girl then pushed the flour, salt, and pepper to his side. "Just cover it in flour and then spread some salt and pepper on it," she said, biting her lip as she waited for Ferris to do the simple task, eager as if she was about to see fireworks for the first time.

emmafan123 11-04-2009 02:30 AM

Ferris's brown eyes widened as flour, salt, and pepper were pushed over to him, looking at these ingredients hesitantly as his eyes slowly went back to normal. He looked to Vianna as though looking for confirmation that he actually had to go through with this, before letting out a sigh. "Okay...?" he murmured, rolling up his sleeves starting with the flour. He attempted to open the bag, pulling and tugging at the top of it, but it wouldn't give. He gave a final tug and the thing popped open to spray a quarter of the bag all over his front, and the counter. He set the bag down calmly, turning to look at the girl next to him with an expressionless, flour-covered face. It was as though in the kitchen, his klutz-status was amplified by a thousand.

Gryffindoll 11-04-2009 02:35 AM

Starting to feel a bit bad for the boy, Vianna leaned over to help him open the bag of flour. But it was precisely at that moment that he managed to open it and a cloud of flour momentarily took over the kitchen before dispersing. Vianna coughed lightly, waving a hand in front of her face. "That--that's okay, Professor, don't wo--" but she stopped abruptly as her blue eyes fell upon his flour-covered face and hair. Her eyes widened and she stared at him blankly for a brief moment before exploding into a fit of laughter. "Aw, Professor!" she exclaimed between laughs, her cheeks beginning to turn pink from the laughter.

emmafan123 11-04-2009 02:45 AM

Ferris frowned slightly from beneath the flour as his girlfriend broke into laughter at the sight of his flour-covered face. "Don't laugh at me!" he said defensively, but he couldn't help but smile slightly as she laughed; it was always contagious for him. Still, his arms (lightly coated with white flour) quickly wrapped around her and pulled the girl into his chest. He buried his face into her long brown hair as though embarrassed, in the process getting flour in her long locks. He wasn't liking this whole...not being good at things...thing.
