"Very well, actually," Ferris responded with his own smile. There was nothing better than waking up to Vianna's smiling face, and he had missed it the one night he hadn't had it. He turned his eyes back to the squirrel who was rubbing its head on his hand and let out a soft chuckle, amused. "I see we've got our Fluffy back," he said with mild interest, his smile widening as he turned back to Vianna.

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 10:48 PM

Vianna beamed as Ferris shared that he had slept very well before then returning her gaze to Fluffy as Ferris, too, turned to look at him. She chuckled softly as he commented that they had the squirrel back. "Yep, we do," she said with a nod. "And I think it's safe to say he's glad to be back," she added with a smile before turning to Ferris once again, watching him for a moment before asking, "So does this mean your back feels better?"

emmafan123 11-07-2009 10:53 PM

Ferris let out a light chuckle as the girl at his side told him that Fluffy seemed glad to be back, "I'm sure he is. Must've missed his marshmallows too much. Not to mention his owner." He turned to look at her with a slight smile, listening as she asked if this meant that his back felt better. "This means that it feels better than it did," he told her, widening his smile. The pain had been reduced greatly, that was for sure, but he wasn't sure if he was completely back to normal yet. It worried him, though, what his many lapses of judgement (carrying heavy things, forgetting to take his medicine, etc.) had caused within his spine, and wondered how it could effect him permanently.

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 10:58 PM

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris told her that his back felt better than it did before, relieved to hear this. But just as the girl was about to speak, a third voice filled the air - "Vianna!" Vianna's eyes widened slightly and she immediately sat up, causing Fluffy to hop off the bed and hide away in surprise. "It's Victor," said Vianna, turning to Ferris. Had this been Vince calling her, she probably wouldn't have cared as much, but she knew Victor was definitely not as easy going as the younger male. "I'll be right back," she said, getting back to her feet and almost sprinting out of the room, across the living room, and to the following room where her oldest brother awaited.

emmafan123 11-07-2009 11:01 PM

Ferris was enjoying Vianna's company when her oldest brother's voice chimed sharply through the air, and his brown eyes widened. He watched as the girl sat up in surprise before telling him she'd be back and sprinting from the room at top speed. A little worried that she would have to take the blame for something, (either sleeping in his bed or causing them to extend their stay) his brows furrowed and he gently leaned back into the pillows, knowing there wasn't much he could do.

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 11:07 PM

Fluffy came out of hiding as Vianna left the room, hopping back on to the bed. He stood still for a moment, merely staring blankly at Ferris before suddenly running to the boy at top speed. He made his way across the boy's chest, up to his shoulder, and climbed up his head to rest on top of his curls. Using his tiny paws, Fluffy fixed the curls to his liking and made himself comfortable.

Vianna returned about twenty minutes later, her brows slightly furrowed. "Well, I got him to extend our stay," she started, taking a seat on the bed, beside Ferris, but keeping a distance just in case. "But he's pretty grouchy about it right now," she finished with a sigh, though the usual smile eventually returned to her face.

emmafan123 11-07-2009 11:12 PM

Ferris's eyes widened as Fluffy's paws were suddenly climbing up his chest, his shoulders, and finally onto his head where he continued to pat out his curls in order to make a bed. But the boy couldn't help but smile slightly, knowing that the squirrel was back with them. He was just getting comfortable with Fluffy on his head as his girlfriend returned with the news that she had gotten Victor to extend their stay, adding that he wasn't exactly happy about it at the moment. He felt a little guilty, knowing he got his girlfriend into an argument with her brother, and he could only muster a weak smile, "Right."

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 11:16 PM

Vianna stared down at the bedsheets absentmindedly for a moment before turning to Ferris, but it was then she noticed her pet was sleeping on his head as it usually did. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly and she chuckled softly at the sight. "I think I should go find some food," she said after a moment's silence. "Vince went back to bed after we got back from the vet, but he's up again and - of course - whining about being hungry." She rolled her eyes before furrowing her brows slightly at Ferris. "You must be pretty hungry, too, aren't you?" she asked him.

emmafan123 11-07-2009 11:20 PM

Ferris smiled slightly as she noticed the squirrel on his head, before it faded as she started talking about food. He didn't like the idea of her going out alone, or the idea of separating from her again. "Yeah, I could use some food," he agreed, "But...Are you going out alone?" he asked her with slight hesitance in his brown eyes.

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 11:23 PM

Vianna shook her head. "No, I'll get one of my brothers to come along with me," she replied, not necessarily liking the idea of going out by herself in a foreign town either. She wasn't sure how they were going to get past the language barrier, but she didn't pay that detail much attention, knowing they'd figure something out. "I'll be right back, then. We won't take long," she continued with a faint smile, getting back up to her feet and leaning over to place a kiss on Ferris's cheek.

emmafan123 11-07-2009 11:34 PM

Ferris was a little relieved that she was getting one of her brothers to go along with her, but that still didn't fix all of his worries. "You can't speak French," he pointed out to her fruitlessly, giving a weak smile as a kiss was placed on his cheek. "Are you sure you don't want me to just call room service? I mean, I can..." he suggested softly, his brows a little furrowed and the squirrel on his head nearly forgotten. Though, they had been eating room service a lot lately, and he was sure Vince was probably getting tired of the same food. Besides, weren't they supposed to be keeping a low profile? Sending up room service every day wasn't exactly doing that. But these thoughts hardly occured to Ferris.

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 11:40 PM

"No, that's alright," replied Vianna, shaking her head slightly. "Just wait here and I'll be back soon," she told him, giving the boy one last smile before walking away. She gave him a wave before heading out the door, across the living room, and over to the next room where she came upon her brothers. A moment later, she and Vince headed out while Victor disappeared into his room.

emmafan123 11-07-2009 11:46 PM

Ferris let out a small sigh as Vianna denied his offer, saying that she would be back soon. He gave her a small smile though as she turned to wave at him, and lifted up his hand to do the same before watching her leave the room. He let out another sigh, his mind roaming for a moment before turning to the squirrel that was still on his head. "Looks like it's just you and me now Fluffy," he said to the creature who was probably already asleep in his curls.

Gryffindoll 11-07-2009 11:54 PM

Fluffy merely stirred at the sound of Ferris's voice but remained uninterrupted from his nap as he continued sleeping soundly. It was about forty minutes later that something caused him to jump up on the boy's curls - the smell of food. At full speed, the little squirrel carefully climbed down the boy's face, and across his chest before hopping off the bed and disappearing in a blur of nothing more than brown fur. Vianna entered the room about five minutes after Fluffy's departure with a plate in one hand and a glass filled with water in the other. Ignoring Vince's complaints somewhere in the background about her 'rat' trying to steal away the food, the girl flashed Ferris a smile. "Here. It's that goose... liver... thing that you like," she said, handing him the plate.

emmafan123 11-08-2009 12:00 AM

Ferris had summoned one of his books to him in the time that Vianna was away, finishing a good five chapters before Fluffy suddenly sprinted down his face and chest off into the distance. He assumed this meant that Vianna and food were here, and his suspicions were confirmed as the girl walked in moments later with a plate and a glass of water. He smiled at the sight of her, listening as she told him she had gotten foie gras for him. His smile widened at this, not only glad to have her back but also glad that she had gotten one of his favorite dishes. "Thanks, Vi," he said taking the plate into his hands and setting the glass on the bedside table. His book now sitting on the bedside table, the boy sat up slightly (his back feeling a bit better) and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips. Ferris broke apart a moment later, "You're the best."

Gryffindoll 11-08-2009 12:09 AM

Vianna smiled as Ferris awarded her a kiss on the cheek before speaking, telling her she was the best. The girl chuckled softly. "I'll be back in a second," she told him before walking out of the room to serve herself her own lunch and pick something out for Fluffy as the squirrel seemed intent on taking over Vince's plate and it was causing some mild chaos in the room. Vianna then returned to Ferris's room about seven minutes later, sitting down beside the boy, near the edge of the bed with her own plate resting on her lap. She ate quietly, her gaze on her plate.

emmafan123 11-08-2009 12:13 AM

Ferris gave a nod as Vianna told him she would be back, sitting back down on the bed and leaning back against the headboard. He started to eat his foie gras, enjoying the taste as he hadn't had it since their last town. Upon Vianna's return, he smiled and watched as she sat down on the bed, his brown eyes a little curious. "So how have your adventures with Vince been today?" he asked her, "Is he a good replacement for me?" He smiled at her with amusement in his eyes.

Gryffindoll 11-08-2009 12:19 AM

Vianna turned away from her plate and to the boy beside her as he spoke, asking her how her adventures with Vince had been and if he was a good replacement for him. She laughed lightly and shook her head. "Merlin, no! He can turn the most simple thing into a complicated arithmancy problem!" she said with a sigh. "We were fine on our way to the vet, but then he wanted to prove he had a sense of orientation by leading the way back to the hotel. I kept telling him he was taking us the wrong way, but he wouldn't listen," she went on, now rolling her eyes as she remembered walking around in circles with her brother when the way back from the vet's was actually ridiculously easy. She smiled faintly to herself and shook her head, remaining silent for a moment before speaking again, "I really missed your company."

ooc: Be back in like an hour! :)

emmafan123 11-08-2009 12:25 AM

Ferris let out a light laugh as Vianna immediately contradicted him, saying that Vince could turn the most simple of things into an arithmancy problem. He listened as she told him that on there way back from the vet's, Vince had taken it upon himself to lead the way back and ended up leading them the wrong way. He starting chuckling softly, easily able to imagine this, and he took a couple bites of his food. He looked up as she spoke once more, telling him that she had really missed his company. A smile lit up his features, "I really missed going with you."

OOC:  Mee too!

Gryffindoll 11-08-2009 01:40 AM

Vianna smiled at Ferris's response, watching the boy for a moment before turning her gaze away to the plate resting on her lap. She silently continued to eat in small bites, and took a sip from her water every now and then. It took her about thirty-five minutes to finish eating, being a rather slow eater. She finished her water and then turned to Ferris. "Done, Professor?" she asked him, ready to take the plates back to the kitchen.

emmafan123 11-08-2009 03:35 AM

It took Ferris about fifteen minutes to finish eating and the ten minutes after that consisted of him drinking water and watching Vianna with amused eyes. The ten minutes after that he had picked up his book and starting to read, knowing Vianna wouldn't mind. But when she had finally finished and asked if he was done he looked up with a soft smile, "I am, actually. Thanks." He didn't really like that she had to do this stuff for him, go in and out of the room bringing him things. He felt rather useless but he didn't know what else he could do.

Gryffindoll 11-08-2009 03:43 AM

Vianna smiled faintly and nodded her head slightly as Ferris let her know he had indeed finished eating. She took his plate, placing it on top of her empty one before then taking his empty glass of water as well. The girl then headed out of the room and over to Vince's kitchen where she proceeded to wash the dishes before returning to Ferris's room a few moments later. With a sigh, she sat down on one end of the bed and turned to the boy. "So what would you like to do on your day off, Professor?"

emmafan123 11-08-2009 03:47 AM

Ferris gave a smile as Vianna returned to him, watching as she took a seat on the end of the bed. He set his book down in his lap, resting his thumb in his place and thinking for a moment as she asked what he wanted to do on his day off. "I think the real question is what I can do on my day off," he corrected her with a small smile, "And then the question that comes after that is what are you going to do after you realize that I'm a big loser who can't get out of bed at all today. You get a day off from Ferris! Aren't you excited?" he teased her lightly.

Gryffindoll 11-08-2009 03:52 AM

Vianna listened as Ferris spoke before he then proceeded to tease her, asking what she would do when she realized that he couldn't get out of bed at all and she got a day off from him. Vianna chuckled softly but humorlessly and shook her head slightly. "Not really, no," she responded simply. "But if I didn't know any better, I'd think you'd want me to be excited!" she continued somewhat playfully.

emmafan123 11-08-2009 03:55 AM

Ferris smiled warmly at her as she told him she wasn't exactly excited, though he sounded as though he wanted her to be. "No....But, I mean, you don't want to be stuck in here with me all day. You should...I don't know, have fun or something," he told her with a laugh, listening to his own words with amusement. They just sounded funny to him. Though, he didn't really want her to leave, he didn't like the thought of him keeping her cooped up with him all day.
