Ferris let out a mischeivous grin as the girl told him he was a bad influence, adding that she hadn't ever even thought about robots before. He let out a laugh at this, amused obviously that his movie choice had caused her to have dreams about robots. "I'm not a bad influence!" he finally contradicted with mock offense on his face. But he let his expression return to normal as he checked his watch, "10:12," he answered, returning his left arm to Vianna's waist and turning his eyes back to her. |
Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris announced the time. "Mm..." She looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully for a moment before returning her gaze to the boy beside her. "I'm gonna go shower and get ready," she announced, giving him a smile before sitting up and pulling the covers off. |
Ferris watched as the girl thought for a moment before deciding that she woudl get up and start getting ready. His brows furrowed, even though her idea was perfectly logical, he had no desire for her to leave him just yet. He took her waist and pulled her back over to him, placing a kiss to her cheek, "Give me a minute," he requested softly to Vianna with a warm smile, arms fitting around her nicely. |
Vianna was just beginning to snake her way out of Ferris's grip when he suddenly pulled her back down to the bed, awarding her with a kiss on the cheek. The young girl chuckled softly and turned to him as he requested another minute. "Are you kidnapping me again, Professor?" she asked him with amused eyes, a smile lighting up her face. |
Ferris released a small laugh as the girl in his arms asked if he was kidnapping her once more, "I don't know. Last time I tried, you took the privelage away from me and told me you were the only kidnapper in this relationship," he said, amusement on his features. "Either way, I'm keeping you here." The boy smiled at her, pressing yet another kiss to her cheek. |
Vianna grinned at Ferris's response. "And I'm glad you remember!" she said before letting out an amused chuckle and smiling as Ferris placed another kiss on her cheek. She watched him for a moment, turning quiet as her eyes examined his features absentmindedly and allowing her right hand to meet one of his curls, playing with it as she usually did. Her brows then furrowed slightly. "How long did you reserve these rooms for, again?" she asked. |
Ferris was more focused on her fingers playing with his hair than her question, so he answered absentmindedly, "Uh...About, two days? Right..." he muttered, resting his chin on her shoulder once more. It didn't particularly occur to him at that moment that they needed to be extending their stay soon because two days would be over very soon. |
Vianna's eyes widened at Ferris's response. "Today's the second day, Professor," she said, her hand freezing and releasing his curls. But then her eyes widened even further, this time sparkling with excitement. The vet might finally return her beloved pet to her this day! "Maybe--" "Viiii!" came her brother's voice from somewhere outside. Vianna gasped, sitting up in a flash, her eyes turning to the closed door for a moment before turning to the boy beside her with pure horror written on her features. |
Ferris's eyes widened when the girl mentioned that it was already the second day, he didn't realize that in the slightest. But this worry was washed from his mind as he heard Vince's voice booming from somewhere outside, and his eyes widened furthur, meeting Vianna's gaze with a matching horror-struck expression. The boy cursed under his breath before completely releasing her and scrambling from the bed. He had a moment of indecision, turning from the bathroom to the door until his eyes found the floor under the bed. He quickly flopped to the floor and rolled under the bed awkwardly. |
Vianna watched as Ferris scrambled up from the bed before doing so herself, straightening her clothes as if there was any need to look proper in the early morning. As she did this, her brows furrowed, realizing she had never changed to her pajamas and was still wearing the clothes from the day before. A few seconds later, the door opened and in walked her brother. His hair was sticking out in all directions and his features were rather drowsy - he had probably just woken up. "An owl crashed to the glass door just now, I thought you would've heard it," he muttered - clearly still half-asleep - as he handed his sister an envelope. Vianna took it into her hands, thanking her brother as he turned and walked out with a yawn, closing the door behind him. The young girl sighed in relief that he had been too sleepy and distracted to notice her attire before turning to the bed. "Professor, you can come out now," she said, now smiling faintly in amusement. |
Ferris listened with his heart rate going faster than normal, possibly because if he was found near death by Vianna's brother could be in his future. But he listened quietly as the boy walked in, said something to Vianna, and walked back out. He let out a sigh of relief as Vianna told him it was alright to come out now, and he crawled from under the bed with a slight groan, rubbing his back. "Note to self: You're not very good with belly flopping to the floor," he said with a soft chuckle, climbing back into the bed with the girl. He looked at the letter curiously, "Who's it from?" |
Vianna chuckled softly at Ferris's response before sitting down on the bed and turning her attention to the envelope in her hands as Ferris asked her who it was from. She opened it and scanned the letter. "Erm... it's in French," she muttered, her brows furrowing. "But I think it's from the vet! There's an address on it, maybe he's saying we can go pick up Fluffy!" she added with a smile, handing the letter to the boy beside her so he could confirm this. But right at that moment came another, "Viiiii!" Vianna jumped in surprise, her heart almost climbing to her throat at the unexpected sound. She sighed and got to her feet. "Wait here," she said, swiftly making her way out of the room and closing the door behind her before her brother grew any intentions of walking inside himself. |
Ferris gazed at the letter as she told him it was in French, about to take a look at it when Vince's voice was heard once more. Eyes widening, he looked to Vianna only to see her getting up and telling him to wait where he was. He gave a brief nod, watching as she got up and walked out of the room. To keep himself busy, he took the letter into his hands and began to read the French. |
Vianna returned about five minutes later. "He's going back to bed so we probably won't hear him for another couple hours," she said with a faint smile, returning to her spot on the bed and taking the empty envelope into her hands. She looked down at it distractedly for a second before turning to the boy beside her. "So what does it say? Is it the vet?" she asked anxiously, quite thrilled about the idea of finally getting her beloved squirrel back. It seemed only logical that it would be from the vet, too, as he was the only one who knew the kids' address. |
Ferris looked up as Vianna returned to the bedroom, mentioning that Vince was going back to bed so they probably wouldn't have to see him for another couple of hours. He gave her a small smile, watching as she returned to his side and asked about the letter, "Yes, it's from the vet," he confirmed with a small nod, glancing at the letter before letting his eyes return to her. "He says that we can go see Fluffy, even though he's still in recovery from the surgery. All went well, the key's out, but they've got to keep him for a little bit longer until they're sure he can be out and about." |
Vianna beamed as Ferris confirmed that the letter was, indeed, from the vet and it regarded her beloved pet. "Yay!" she cheered, clapping her hands together. "Is he okay?! Is he happy? Did they feed him well? Did he bite anyone? Oh Merlin, I hope he didn't..." she said, rambling on a million questions about Fluffy before finally trailing off, the smile still on her face. She had missed the little squirrel more than she had expected. |
Ferris looked over to her with slight surprise and amusement in his eyes as the girl started rambling, asking if her squirrel was alright and happy and if he had bitten anyone. He silenced her by gently covering her mouth with his hand, "Vi. Calm down. We'll find out when we get there," he said with a smile, amusement obvious in his expression. He then released her mouth, placing a kiss to it before breaking apart and smiling, "Now go get ready so we can go see him." |
Vianna's eyes widened slightly as she was abruptly cut off by Ferris's hand. But as he pulled it away to place a kiss on her lips, she smiled, returning the kiss. "I'll be ready in no longer than ten minutes!" she said as he told her to get ready so they could visit the squirrel. Half a second later, she was back up on her feet and disappeared into the bathroom to shower. |
Ferris let out a soft chuckle as his girlfriend assured him she would be no longer than ten minutes before jumping from the bed and dashing into the bathroom. He then left her bedroom, going back into his own in order to shower himself and change. He was back in her hotel room on the couch eight minutes later (the boy had never been one to take too long) and besides, he didn't want to keep Vianna waiting should she get done first. |
As promised, Vianna returned exactly ten minutes later. Her eyebrows rose slightly in surprise at the sight of Ferris already in the living room waiting for her. But she didn't head over to him just yet; first she made a trip to the kitchen. She filled a glass with water and then headed over to the living room, coming a halt in front of the boy sitting on the couch. "Because I know you'll forget," she told him with a smile, handing him the water and the medicine for his back. |
Ferris looked up from his gaze at the fireplace as he heard Vianna's door open, smiling at the sight of the girl. But his brows furrowed just slightly as she walked into the kitchen, confused as to what she was doing. But when she returned with a glass of water and his back medicine, he grinned like a little boy. "What would I do without you, Vi?" he asked her, leaning over to place a kiss on her cheek before taking the pill and water into his hands, downing the pill and washing it down with water. Honestly, he had nearly forgotten. Again. OOC: I'm off Deee! Byyyyeeeee! :bye: |
Vianna giggled lightly at Ferris's response, smiling as he thanked her with a kiss on the cheek. She watched as he took his medicine before he washed it down with the water, the smile still on her face. Once he finished, she received the empty glass and the medicine back into her hands before heading to the kitchen and putting both things away. She then scribbled on another sticky note like last time, now letting her brother know of her new whereabouts before heading back to the living room. "All ready, then, Professor?" she asked the boy. ooc: Awwww byeee, Ruthersss! :bye::glomp: |
Ferris watched the girl with slightly admiring eyes as she walked back into the kitchen, washing out the glass and writing a note to her dozing brother. When she asked if he was ready, he gave a nod, a smile on his face as he rose from the couch and walked over to her. He took her hand as he so often did, intwining their fingers as he led her from the hotel room and out into the long sleek hallways of the hotel. "Oh! We've got to go extend our stay too, or they'll want us out of here," he said, suddenly remembering as they made their way into the elevator. |
Vianna's eyes widened slightly as Ferris reminded her about their stay at the hotel. "Oh, right!" she said. "How much longer do you think we should extend it for? Vince told me Victor's coming back today," she continued, her brows furrowing slightly. "How much longer did the vet say Fluffy had to stay with him, again?" she asked. |
Ferris listened as Vianna explained that Victor was coming back that day, and thought for a moment as to how long they should extend their stay for. "Well...the vet said we could probably pick up Fluffy tomorrow morning, so...Maybe we should extend it until about noon tomorrow?" he suggested, his brown eyes going from the floor of the elevator to the girl at his side. |
