"Miles. It's nothing bad." Vannie smiled at him, as she took his hand. She didn't want him to be worried or anything because he didn't need to be. She glanced at Sylvia quickly, giving her a reassuring. "We won't be long." She nodded, before walking towards the door to the room, where it would be a bit more quieter.
"Miles...Somethings going to happen thats gonna change our lives forever."

"Punz...can you look after Sylvia...while I talk to Miles...It's kinda important." She nodded, as she grabbed her glass, and walked towards Miles.

"Hey guys," She smiled, reaching up to kiss her cheek. "Miles...I need to talk to you." She nodded, looking serious. "It's kind of important." She continued, glancing at Sylvia and smiling.

"Boxes?" Punz had a quizzical expression on her face for about a minute before she remembered Miles telling her about packing and stuff. "OHohohright," she laughed. "I'll come by when I get some more time off from Quidditch....I had to miss a match today for the wedding. But it was worth it."

She nodded about happy Malimadox and then blinked - was Miles' sister's name SylviaPunz, or Sylvia, or Punz? Cos her name was toterly Pun--

"Sure sure, I can talk to Sylvia!" the blonde turned to smile at the siblings now at the bar.

Sylvia folded her arms. Why did she bother coming to this if she was just going to be dragged places and then left alone? Atleast she had the blonde woman with her, who acted more like a child than an adult. But maybe it was helpful, as Sylvia was a child also. "I heard you call me Miles' sister." She smiled slightly, not completely impressed. "It's Sylvia, by the way."

"Hai guys!" she giggled at Miles' arm waving. He was just about as goofy as Ryan when you got to know him.

Then the little couple wandered off by themself, for reasons Rapunzel had probably totally missed, and she was left with SylviaPunz, just Sylvia.

"Sorry," Rapunzel blushed when the girl brought up her name. "I met a lot of people today....and my memory's not the best...."

She coughed awkwardly and pulled her butterbeer mug closer to her. "So, did you enjoy the wedding? Want a drink or something?" She was what, 15? That wasn't too young for a butterbeer, was it? Just as long as Sylvia didn't try ordering a firewhiskey or something, right.

Personality? Reese sighed. She was a troublemaker during her fourth year, she couldn't see Emiliano falling in love with a troublemaker. She shook her head when Lima asked if she asked Emiliano what had attracted him to her. The truth is, it doesn't matter now if Emiliano had feelings for her. Like she said earlier, if he was happy with Piper, Reese had no choice but to be happy for him. "I...I didn't even think about asking him what attracted him," she said, fumbling around with her firewhiskey bottle. "You know, when I dated Lucas and Jeremy... for some reason, I think my looks attracted him. Maybe- just maybe- Emiliano was attracted by my looks," she added. She was going to have to give in sooner or later that she was in fact pretty.

She raised her eyebrow when Lima said she hope she didn't argue about her point. "Excuse me, I don't argue...I debate. Two different things," she informed her with a little nod.

She eyed Whitney, who had just come up to her and Lima, then... she started dragging Lima away. What the heck? "Don't take my Lima, Whitney. You can't steal her from me when I just stole her from Mads. That's not cool," she told the girl. She took another sip of her firewhiskey and grinned at her friends. There was still one question remaining, that she has been wanting to ask Lima:

"Lima, can we karaoke?"

YESSS!!! Success!! She jumped up and down happily as Reese finally came close to admitting she was pretty. She felt like she just won the lottery or something. Wow... She made Reese feel like she wasn't ugly.

"So you're debating with me right now?" she added, smirking. Silly Reeses Pieces. She loved this girl so much.

"HEY! Stop fighting over me! My husband might get jealous." She gave a little conspiratory wink and then blinked. Reese asking if they could do karaoke? Was she insane?

"Is the sky blue? Are you pretty? Does Jake have pink hair? Of course we will be karaokeing!" Like DUH. Too bad Mads wouldn't karaoke with them. He would only sing their "engagement song" to her. PFFT.

Lima had turned around asked her why she was dragging her away. Well it was obvious wasn't it? "Really Lima?" she asked,a little shocked. She wanted her best friend for the same reason everyone else did. Because she was LIMA. Was that not good enough? In Whit's opinion that was the best reason out there. "I am dragging you away cause you are mine." She replied with an evil smirk. Now....to continue the stealing.

Whit started dragging her away again when she heard Reese's voice. "Um....but....I'm not cool?" There. That would work. It wasn't cool for her to steal Lima so,she just wouldn't be cool. 'I'm brilliant!' Okay,so she wasn't but still. She wanted her Lima!

Then she heard the two talking about Karaoke. Oh no,they weren't going to drag her up there. Nope. Now she had to make a choice. Steal Lima and sing in front of tons of people or simply walk away and hide in the bathroom.

"Well um...I'll....talk to you two....later?" she said and turned around to walk away. There was no way she was going to make a fool of herself. Being part of Lima and the Lemurs was as far as she would go.

She laughed. She had no idea what Whit was talking about. But apparently Lima was her's. "Okay, I'm yours. But what did you want to talk to me about?" She smiled curiously. Not that she minded having her best friends wanting to talk to her. She wouldn't see them again for another 3 weeks.

Suddenly she was sad. "I'm going to miss you two so much when I'm away," she said sniffling.

But before they could have a close bonding moment, Whit was suddenly trying to back away from them. "Where are you going, Whit? You don't want to talk to me anymore?" She was suddenly confused.

Piper was quiet as both Reese and Elizabeth left, she vaguely recognized the girl Elizabeth greeted, she thought she had talked to her once or twice before. Piper however was a little distracted as Em asked Reese to save the last dance for him. That..... hurt. Why did it feel like Emilano was never truly hers? I mean first Karma, now Reese... How many more would there be?

She just... wanted to go home..and cry at the moment. "No.." She declined as Em spoke. "I don't think I want to dance right now..." She said softly.. "You.. you liked her too.. didn't you." Piper asked with a sigh. "Is that what she was crying about?" Piper's eyes closed...

"You got that right," Reese said under her breath when Whitney said she wasn't cool. But, then she grinned. She was actually kidding, but, hopefully Whitney knew she was. She didn't want to hurt the poor girl's feelings. Whitney was cool, in her own little special way.

"Gaaaaaah, Limaaaaaaaa. Let's not talk about this stuff now. I'm going to miss you, too- but- come on. Let's enjoy the wedding," Reese told her, "We'll have our emotional moment later." She nodded her head, then she sat her firewhiskey bottle on the ground and stepped closer to Whitney, who was starting to walk away.

"The sky is blue...Jake's hair is pink...Annnnd, Whitney is going to karaoke with us," Reese said with a grin, then grabbed Whitney's arm, so she couldn't walk away from her and Lima. Now, let's get this party started.

"Okay! My lips are sealed!" she called out before making a zipper motion across her lips. She would keep them shut and throw away the key. She made a tossing motion with her left hand to show that she was for cereals.

Then Reese started dragging Whit back and ordering her to sing karaoke. She had to break her promise already, as she just couldn't help but laugh. Hard. "Poor Whit. What are we all going to sing?" She was so evil sometimes.

"Yeah- they better be sealed," Reese told Lima, laughing a little bit. She loved her friends, they were so much fun to play around with. She started heading over to the microphone, dragging Whitney behind her. She stopped walking when Lima asked what song they were going to sing. How was SHE suppose to know? She just came up with the idea to karaoke. She didn't have the details, yet. "I dunno. Do you know any good songs," She asked, then turned around to look at Lima as she waited to see if Lima did have any songs in mind.

She followed Reese to the microphone and then became thoughtful as she was asked what song they would sing. Hmm.. She had no idea. And she was tired. Like.. really tired. "Um, Reese, maybe we can like do this another time?" She had just finished a tour a few weeks before. Plus the emotionally draining morning she had just now. And besides, Whit really looked like she didn't want to do this, and she wasn't wanting to upset her best friend on the last day she would see her for 3 weeks.

Mariska tilted her head to the side as Elizabeth rolled her eyes and she laughed a little. " True enough. I just thought...it might be a bit awkward for you to have company sometimes." She said, giving her friend a look that said it all. " What with there being the both of us...but I'm going to visit more now that we're both settled a bit more. And you are right, I could have come by myself." She said, feelinga little guilty.

As they took seats, Mari sighed a little. " So tell me more about the books, where you're living...I thought the last time it was with your cousin?" she said, sitting back a little in her chair as she relaxed a little more.

Evolette McKenna entered the room, her blue eyes took in the scene before her as she absently adjusted the strap of her dress as it slid down her shoulder.

Trailing her eyes over to the side, she tugged on her boyfriend's hand, as if trying to pull him out of his trance. He was unusually quiet, and she was pretty sure that she knew why. "Ready to meet some new people?" she asked, arching an eyebrow at him. Sure, they were a little late.... but it couldn't have been helped, really. The coat room really was a good place for kissing, snogging... anyway.

He was late. No - they were late.

But for the first time in his entire life, Nikola could not care less.

Granted, he wasn't exactly wearing an attire that could be considered proper, and it was true that he would have MUCH preferred to have stayed on his suit, but since Evolette could be QUITE convincing when she wanted, he had agreed to change into something that she thought was more comfortable.

Of course he disagreed, but there was no point on arguing with Evolette; he always ended up losing the arguments.

Hence why they were late.

Anywaaaaaay. "No," he answered simply. "But I don't have a choice, do I? So it doesn't really matter." Letting out a throaty chuckle, the young man allowed his girlfriend to lead him.

SHE knew where they were, after all. And SHE was the one who knew all the people in here.

"So where are your friends?"

She took a few steps forward, but stopped suddenly when he replied to her question. What? He didn't want to meet anyone? Did he even want to be there? In the past, it wouldn't have mattered, if her date didnt want to be there, that was his problem, but as long as he was there. Whatever.

But Evolette was an adult, and this, what she had with Nikola was an adult relationship. She didn't want him to have to stick around if he didn't really want to be there. But at the same time, the fact that he'd come with her, even though he didn't want to, was a good thing.

"Do you want to leave?" she asked. She just wanted a straight answer this time, not what he knew she wanted to hear, but what he really wanted. "Because we don't have to stay. We can go-" she broke off. Not wanting to sway his opinion by naming anything. "Somewhere else." she offered, smiling.

That was when she had noticed that his tie, the one he insisted on wearing, was crooked, it really would have been a good idea to look in a mirror after their little excursion to the coat room. She reached out to fix it, her slim fingers working quickly as she waited on his reply.

Shana walked into the night club,she looked around.Everyone was older than her.Why did this always happen ? But she was glad to be here,she was glad she got the chance to see Lima again.Even if she didn't know who maddox was.She straightend her Dress and stood sort of in the corner of the room,looking around for someone to talk to.

Elizabeth laughed along with Mari as she responded to the comment she had made earlier. "It's only awkward when the company isn't people you like," she pointed out, honestly. She knew the reasons behind Mari's comment, but that had stopped truly bothering her a while ago. She smiled again as she was told she would get more visits now, though. "Good," she said with a grin. "Sometimes I need more people to talk to." Of course, she was also always looking for more things to write about, but she wasn't about to bring that up. "And don't feel guilty. You've had a lot going on."

When they sat down, and Mari brought up wanting to know more about what had been going on, Elizabeth started fidgeting with her necklace again, twisting it between her fingers as she tried to figure out what to say. "Well, my book about Jonathan's been doing pretty well, and I'm almost done with my second book," she started, trying to stall saying anything about the other. But she knew Mari would keep prying, so she eventually spoke again. "Yep, I lived with Rhiannon for a while after graduation," she said, trying to seem relaxed, but unable to get rid of all her tension. And she didn't know why she was so tense when it was Mari asking. But for some reason, she was still reluctant to say anything. "But I've kinda been living elsewhere for a while now," she said quietly, knowing the other girl would hear, even over the music.

Miles smiled after that reassurance. "Oh goood." He said, and followed her to a quieter room, away from the hustle and bustle of the wedding. As Miles held Vannie's hand as she began to sound serious, even though she had said it wasn't bad news, his stomach still did a few flips before she said anything else. "Something that's going to change our lives?" Miles repeated. Was it that big? "Are you exxaggerating?"

"I'm not a big fan of weddings. I was dragged here to be honest." Miles never liked being on his own. And when he found out that he wasn't going tpo see Vanessa until later on at the wedding, he needed someone to be with him during the ceremony. Obviously it would be her.

"Okay..." Rapunzel took a nice big slurp of her butterbeer since Sylvia didn't want any. She tried to think of a conversation topic to keep her distracted with. "So um, how much older is Miles than you anyway?" Thereeee we go.

"That dance has been saved since the birthday she invited me to about four years ago..." Emiliano explained, quite upset at the moment. He couldn't believe it, Piper was being a little paranoid about the situation he used to have with girls when he was at Hogwarts.

"All those feelings passed away and you know that, Piper..." He said, taking her chin, then kissing her lips. "And I'm sorry..." He added one last sentence. "You are the only one...the only one I love." Em told her, really meaning it.

Reese heard what Lima said and frowned slightly. Lima didn't want to sing now? Ah, well. That was cool. They still had a few more hours until the wedding ended, they could sing later. It really didn't matter. She wasn't mad at Lima for not wanting to sing. "Sure thing," she told her with a reassuring smile, "But- ummm-" She glanced over at the microphone. "Can I still sing... by myself?" She asked, looking back at Lima. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaase.

"Why, thank you, Elizabeth," Anna said, her lips widening into a smile. Elizabeth had always been, to Anna's knowledge, nice and polite to everyone she knew. Come to think of it, Anna had never really known the girl to have any disagreements with anyone. Then again, she and Anna hadn't exactly hung out a whole lot. "Wow. Writing sounds like a lot of fun. I work in the Potions field, actually. I went into business with Nicholai Toussaint shortly after graduation. He and I research current potions to make them more effecient. We also research potions ingredients to try and create new potions. We're doing quite well, so far," she commented. She started to mention her family life, but then Reese came squealing up to her, and Anna simply couldn't resist the urge to huge her longtime friend. "I'll see you around, Elizabeth. I'm actually on my way back home, anyway."

"ReeseReeseReeseReeseReese," Anna said, with a laugh. She hugged her friend tightly, finally releasing her some time later. It had way too long since she and Reese had seen one another. "I'm glad things are going well for you. Caleb and I are just fine. He's at home with the twins. Caleb's sick---baby Caleb, not the older Caleb." Since Cale's graduation, Anna had taken to calling her now husband by his full, first name. It was sort of like her pet name for him. Kind of like the way he called her Anna Bella, when everyone else just called her Anna. "Caleb---adult Caleb, that is---says to tell you hello. I have to run now. Owl me!" Living under the same roof with two Caleb's was a bit confusing. At least they had different middle names, though!

"Nice to meet you, Emiliano. I do remember you from school, but I'm afraid we never got to properly meet one another," she said, shaking his hand. Since graduation, Anna had actually met quite a few people that she went to school with. Such a shame she didn't get to meet them while they were a few years younger. "Life's great! I'm married to Caleb Newell, and we have two children, twins, named Caleb and Sophie. Caleb works at the Ministry, while I work in Potions reasearch." She frowned and then gave Emiliano an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry to have hi and bye, but my son's sick, and I really need to get home. Nice meeting you!"

"Oh, Piper! I hate that I'm finally catching up with you all just when I have to leave!" Anna said, reaching over to hug Piper. "Things are just splendid. Caleb's doing well. I was just telling Reese that he had to stay at home with Caleb and Sophie. Baby Caleb is sick," she said, frowning as she reported her baby's illness. "Just a common head cold, though. Nothing a good Pepperup Potion can't fix. I'm going to owl Nicholai and see about getting a batch brewed tomorrow." Anna listened as Piper told about her job at the Ministry. "Sounds like you have a nice life, as well. I'm surprised you and Caleb haven't run into one another yet. He's employed there, too. Piper, please do owl me. I have to get home and check on Caleb."

"Bye, everyone! Nice seeing you!" Anna called out, waving goodbye before taking off.

Piper cheered up slightly when Emiliano explained that she dance had been saved for about four years. That was before they met, really. So that was alright. "Okay, but promise me, I get the first slow dance alright?" She asked as she turned her head up to face him.

"I know, and I am sorry. I just see you with Reese or Karma, and suddenly it's 6th year all over again." Piper apologized, " I know you love me, and are not leaving me, I just need to calm down and think, sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me, but you know that.." She said her eyes closing as Em kissed her. Ahhh... What was she thinking about? What were they talking about? All thoughts had left her, and she was sitting there slightly stunned as usual. "Maybe one of these days I will get used to that.." She mused softly as she put her arms around Emiliano..

She remembered the first time he had kissed her. Oh she had responded, but she had been so flustered that it took her several minutes to get her brain function back. "I love you, and only you as well, and I'm sorry.." She smiled up at him as she kissed his cheek gently.

She bit her lip and felt bad for making Reese have to use her puppydog face. But she did not know the answer. She really needed a drink too. "I guess. I'll get back to you on that one in a bit. Er, I want a drink, so I'll like be back soon, okay?" Yeah.. She smiled and turned, heading towards the bar. She needed a Firewhiskey. She hoped it was good. But if not.. Eh, her husband could have it.

And embarrassed, too, that was for sure.

"No," managed Nikola to say at last. "That's not what I meant." What had he meant, actually? He knew what, but it was just a bit too hard to explain. It was not like he didn't want to be there ... Evolette's company was something he always enjoyed, even if it included attending to weddings and spending time with people that were strangers to him.

It was just that meeting people never came easily for him; making the fool of himself in front of strangers and earning several odd looks from those strangers was what happened whenever he was forced to meet people.

How was he supposed to exlplain that without sounding like an idiot?

This was the very thing Nikola did not like about relationships. They made him feel all weird and anxious and unsure of himself and ... Angsty.

In short, they had the ability to make him feel like a teenager again - and he did not like that.

"What I meant was," he began, trying not to dwell too much on the fact that her fingers were close to his throat - it was distracting, "That, well, as ridiculous as it may sound, meeting new people does not comes easily to me." He shurgged, and tried to sound nonchalant about it. "I don't mind it, though, and I don't want to leave." That was not entirely true, but it was not a lie either. "Then again, going somewhere sounds slightly appealing, if you ask me." A crooked smile curled upon his lips.

Really, he was joking about the 'going somewhere else' part. Sort of.
