Piper smiled over at Reese as she spoke, " I have been well, very well in fact, I have been working at the ministry in my older sister's department, which means I get to see my adorable nephew everyday! It's quite fun!" Piper explained with a smile, but her face fell as she saw the other girls eyes, and she noted something that looked suspiciously like tears. What was going on? She wondered as she looked from Reese to Emiliano and back again. Her mind started to whirl, and she was about to excuse herself, to sit back down when...

"Anna!!!" Piper was genuinely happy to see the former Head Girl of Gryffindor. "Anna! How are you?" Piper asked as she let go of Emiliano's hand and gave Anna a hug, " How is everything? Where is Cale? I hope everything is alright between you two?" She asked looking highly concerned, she had heard the two of them had gotten married.. "I've bene good! Working at the ministry, being with Emiliano here.." She said gesturing to her boyfriend, "Things are going really well!"

Piper looked over at Emiliano as he spoke to Reese, and she noticed that right before she had gotten there, he had given Reese a handkerchief. Really now.. what was going on? She had caught snatches of conversation such as "liked, and sorry.." Piper's violet eyes narrowed a bit, and she tried to rein in her cat claws, she liked Reese, but.. She took a deep breath and tried to not freak out. Breathe Piper Breathe she took a deep Breath and took her hand out of Emiliano's one more time as he introduced her to the Ravenclaw girl. She noticed his arm around her waist and she sighed a bit.

"Hello, it is nice to meet you, You were on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team right? I was a beater for one year,, I think I recognize you from one of the games?" Piper looked over at Reese and then back at Emiliano and sighed.

"Reese? Would you like to dance with Em? I'm sure he would love to." She said kindly, as she detached herself from her boyfriend.

"Oh of course. Andd I didn't fall over." Vannie giggled, smiling. She was so proud. "oooh?" Vanessa nodded, she was glad that he was here. "I need to talk to him."

Punz grinned at Vannie and had another swig of butterbeer; no doubt she did notice everything. Huh. "Thank you, I guess. At least it's purple." And she did like purple a lot.

"Mhhm yeah," Rapunzel just agreed. "Not that I would know, I mean, I clearly know NOTHING about Muggle fashions." Seriously though, there was no place for fashion on the Quidditch pitch.

She rubbed her chin and glanced back at Lima and Maddox. "D'ya know where they're going on their honeymoon?" Pretzel was curious, that's all. "And I haven't seen Miles here at the reception yet, sorry." She vaguely wondered if his sister would be coming too...cos...it was kind of odd that his sister accompanied him to a wedding and reception, right? Right.

"It suits you." Vanessa nodded, wish a smile, trying to make her friend feel a little happier. Still smiling, she turned the the bartender and ordered a small glass of water. She'd needed to be careful what she was drinking and eating now, especially with a baby on the way. When the bartender returned with the water, she took a sip of it, before turning back to Rapunzel.

"I could teach you." She giggled, smiling at her friend. She actually thought that what Rapunzel was wearing was quite quirky and individual. A different pair of shoes would make her look more fashionable, then her outfit would be fine. "It doesn't matter what you wear anyway. At least you'll have a good time." She added with a nod. Lima probably wouldn't mind what any of them wore really.

"Tropics somewhere." She nodded, Lima was excited about it though. She sighed, she'd love to spend her birthday in a sunny climate. "She misses my birthday cause of it." She giggled, rolling her eyes. She didn't really mind. At least Lima would be enjoying herself. "Yeah...he'll try to find me" She nodded, Miles probably wanted to see how she was. She was wondering if Sylvia had enjoyed the wedding.

Maddox thught about that question for a moment before answering. Would he sing again? Only if the right song came on. "If that song comes on I will sing, but only for you." He poked her nose, before grinning in response to her last comment. "Yes, well I was thinking we need to put wood flooring in that room now. It would compliment the antiquity of the house, as well as getting rid of the torn up carpet from your heels." He stuck out his tounge.


He grinned mischeviously. Tonight would be fun for sure.

PFFFT! Like he was going to cave and tell her now. Was she joking? He booked a house on Turtle Island in Fiji just for them. He wanted to rent out the whole island, but it was to late, but he did get the biggest house. "Please...like I would tell you and ruin the surprise." He grinned evily and then dipped her again.

She grinned mischievously and said, "Oh." He did not know that she had had that song added to the list. And now he would have to sing to her. She hugged him closer as they danced. "Sounds good. Can we keep the nightclub too?" She really really hoped they could. "Hey! These are killer heels. So no teasing. For that, you have to give me a foot massage later." Her feet were starting to kill her. At least she was out of those evil shoes now.

She pouted. Why was he always so stubborn? Well, she wasn't done trying to get it out of him. But he didn't need to know that. Instead, she wiggled her eyebrows at him and said, "I'm sure it's a lovely place."

Penny watched as her two best friends danced. This was so their song. As the song was winding down, Penny started to get the other song ready. When it was over, she picked up the mike. "There they are, after the first dance as a married couple, Mads and Lima." she announced. The she started the next song. "Come on everyone. It is time for all to dance. Lets Boogey!" she said with a laugh. She started to dancing when she put the mike down. She turned and smiled at Eric. He looked as if he was enjoying himself.

"So..." Reese trailed off. "You're mom made her clothing shop international? Does that mean there's a store in England that I could visit? Because, I would just love to drop by and look at some of her dresses." More dresses? So- maybe Reese did have enough dresses, but a few more couldn't hurt. She loved her dresses, they were all so colorful and just- her. You know the saying: diamonds are a girls best friend. Well, in this case, dresses are a girls best friend.

Reese grinned slightly when Emiliano mentioned her mother saying something about inviting his old friends at the house, again. she would love to go and visit Emiliano, again. she had so much fun there last time, even though she almost fell head first into the water fountain in the backyard. "Well, whenever your free, just give me a call. I would just love to come and visit you and your family, again. Your mom was just too nice to me last time I met her," she informed Emiliano, adding a little smile after she finished talking.

Siiigh. Emiliano saw the tears, there was no hiding her tears from him when he was around, he always noticed when she cried, even though she tried so hard to hide it from him. "It's fine, Em- It really is. You're happy with Piper and that's all that counts. If your happy, I'm happy. You're like my older brother and- yeah- I don't know where I'm going with this, so I'm just going to say that I will always love you like a friend,too," she told him. She let Emiliano take her hand and she quickly gave him a little smile, but it faded as quickly as it came. "A-Alright," she repeated, looking up at him. "I'll always remember I can count on you."

Reese slipped her hand out of Emiliano's grasp and took the handkerchief from and wiped her eyes, making sure not to mess up any of her make-up. She looked back at Piper when she started to speak. "Oh, really. That's great. What department does your sister work in?" She asked her, smiling slightly. "I've been thinking about getting a job at the Ministry- but, I'm not sure what department I want to- you know- work in."

Reese handed Emiliano his handkerchief back, then looked over at Piper. What- What did she just say? Did she just give her permission to dance with Emiliano? Was Piper a mind-reader? She was JUST thinking about dancing, then Piper- geez. Piper had to be a mind-reader. But- anyhow-

"I can't, Piper. You need to dance with Emiliano first, he's your boyfriend. It's just not right for me to have Emiliano's first dance," Reese told Piper with a smile. She heard the music change and looked over at Penny, who was the one that was holding the microphone. "Yeah- Em- Piper, go boogey. I'm thinking about going to get some butterbeer or firewhiskey before I do any dancing for tonight," she told them, glancing back at her friends.

Maddox grinned up at Penny. Lima's favorite song of course. He gave her a thumbs up and went back to dancing with his...wife.






Mads thought about that question. He liked the idea of the club, but this place was so...old, it really wouldnt fit in with the day to day decorum. "I will think about it. I mean this room is very big..." He shrugged. "Yes I will rub your feet...but later. Right now. We need to dance." He grinned as the song changed.


"It's very lovely. But you wont know the details until we are at the airport." Of course they could have apperated there, but he wanted to go about this the muggle way. Make her antsy until they got there. It was more fun for him.

Then....he danced.

She shook her head, amused. She knew that he was probably going to get rid of the club. And that was a shame. She wasn't going to press it though. It was his inheritance, and he could do what he wanted. "Yeah, we might need it just in case we have any masquerade balls here," she said winking. She was sorta serious too, though; it would be cool to have a masquerade ball for Halloween or something. "Well, I can wait til later... But you're giving me a foot massage tonight."

She stopped dancing as the song changed. But it was mostly due to surprise. "Airport? We're going the Muggle way? You are so cruel, Mads." She put her hands on her hips and glared at him. He did that on purpose to drive her insane. She was going to be wondering where he was taking her for the whole trip. "My husband is so mean," she muttered under her breath, sighing.

Mariska looked around the very...modernly styled wedding reception, glad that she didn't feel out of place. She was more comfortable, yes but she realized that she might still look more dressy than some of the other people...which was just how she did things.

She turned to look at Cayden and she leaned over to kiss his cheek. " I do believe we're supposed to either dance or mingle now. I'm just not sure what to do first." She smiled at him as she teased him a little before she looked out into the crowd of people, trying to find Elizabeth again. She needed to talk to her friend more; They hadn't been able to finish their discussion from earlier and she wanted to.

Penny looked over at Mads in time to catch his grin and the thumbs up. She smiled and wave to him. Yeah this was Lima favorite song. She started to dance behind the table. She watched at Lima and Maddox as they grooved. She turned around and grabbed Eric's hand and started to dance with him. She stopped for a second, grabbed the mike. "Come on everyone. On the dance floor! Lets have some fun." she called out. Then she started to dance again.

Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh a little in relief as Reese only agreed with her about how it would be weird. She had almost been able to see the confusion in the Slytherin's face as she had registered the comment about how she hadn't been back to California in a long time, but the question hadn't been asked. So she was relieved to not have to explain. And then Reese had decided she wasn't moving, so it was all moot. "I guess we'll never know how weird it actually would be," she commented idly, playing with the half eaten strawberry on her plate. And then the Ravenclaw boy had spoken, introducing himself and the girl with him, and she turned to look at them again.

Smiling at his first comment, she nodded. "At least we appear to be fixing that now," she said, placing her plate back down on the table. "Elizabeth Andrews. It's nice to officially meet you Emiliano. And Piper." She glanced at Piper as she spoke about Quidditch, and grinned. "Yep. I was on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Pretty much every term fifth year and on. I played beater and chaser." She thought a minute, then laughed a little. "And I think we did play against each other at least once." She glanced back at Emiliano as he mentioned prefect, and shrugged. "I was prefect my fifth year. But then I gave it up my last two terms at school, so I could feel a little less . . . I don't know. Like I had to be so much of a role model?" It wasn't like she had ever thought people noticed her. Although apparently they had if she could be recognized.

When Piper asked Reese if she wanted to dance with Emiliano, and then Reese declined, Elizabeth sighed. Looking around, she noticed Mari a little way off, and then brightened. They hadn't really gotten to finish their conversation earlier, and it looked like her best friend might be looking for her as well. Since Cayden was with her, so obviously she wasn't looking around like that for him. Retrieving her food, only because it gave her something to do, she looked back at Reese and the group before moving. "Well, whoever ends up dancing, have fun," she joked, "I'm just going to go talk to Mari for a little while. Maybe we'll talk again later or something." She just didn't want anyone to try to convince her she had to dance, at least not until she had worked up enough energy to feel like it.

Then she worked her way across the room carefully, trying to stay out of the way of the dancers as well as any conversations that were going on, before coming up alongside her best friend. "Hey," she said, momentarily going back to when they had been in school and the weirdness hadn't really set in yet. When the only thing that had really annoyed her was that Mari was taller than her. Not that everything since then annoyed her, other than the fact that she didn't really like having to keep secrets.

Cayden was dressed in pretty much the same thing as he was before. Just had a few buttons undone. He was use to wearing such clothing for long hours. That's what happened when you had to go to several political parties."You look nice." he told her as he gave her another smile. he was just enjoying wearing his fedora. He felt her kiss on his cheek as he turned his attention to her."Dance or mingle. I guess you would be right. Which one would you like to-" it was then that elizabeth came over to speak to mari. He gave her a smile as he never minded the chatter box anymore. " Hello Elizabeth." he greeted her as he moved aside to make room for them." Maybe we should mingle. I'll let you both talk."

he smiled at them as he then left the two to talk. he wasnt sure what about but he could ask later. he put his hands into this pockets as he searched for a certain good looking lady. He smiled a little as he listened for her voice.

Mari smiled at Cayden's compliment; She liked it when he gave her them, even if it was quite often. It still made her happy, she thought as she spoke to him. " You look nice too." She said as he turned to her. She was going to suggest dancing when suddenly Elizabeth came over to her. Mari smiled as Cayden suggested they both mingle and she nodded. " I'll see you in a little while." She said, having an idea or two about who he was going to go mingle with. She smiled a little and watched him as he walked away before she turned her attentions back to Elizabeth.

Mari smiled again at Elizabeth and returned the greeting with a wave. " Helloo," She said with her fingers wiggling a bit. " So." She said, with a shrug. " Did you enjoy the ceremony?" She asked firstly. " And after you answer that, tell me more about how you've been. I miss so much living in France, and with the traveling too," She said with a small smile. She looked around and saw a few empty chairs. " Shall we take a seat for a little while?" She offered, gesturing towards the chairs.

"Well I liked that. Did you?" Miles grinned at Sylvia as the walked into the reception. He'd changed his suit to his his usual buttoned up green shirt and some trousers. "A lot of mucking about though, but I guess that's what you have to do to have a nice wedding. Lot's o' flowers, and white .. food." Obviously. The guests needed to eat. "And then there's the nice location." Miles continued to list all the possible things, probably boring Sylvia to death. But he had to talk to her in a way where she didn't need to talk back, otherwise it would be really awkward.

Sylvia had changed from her light purple dress to a more darker red dress, a kind of evening outfit which Miles had bought for her to bribe her to come to this .. thing. Suprisingly, it had been fairly ok. The bride looked pretty, the place was pretty. And Miles was wrong, the groom was not freakishly muscular, she could take him any day. "Whatever." Sylvia finally replied, not really listening to what he had said to her.

"Yes," Emiliano commented about the shop, "...It is at downtown London. I'll give you the address as soon as I can and there you find these beautiful designs of clothing, either European and American. My mother is way still to attached to our roots." He said, quite proud of his mother at the moment. "And you can come anytime...my mother would love to have you back at home, I mean...while she stays with us for a while." She told her, quite sad that Maria would be leaving back to Mexico to bring some other new designs and clothing to add to the shops.

He listened to Elizabeth as she spoke about her jobs during her fifth year. It just seemed interesting to find yourself in a role where you are a model. But some people, as the girl, seemed to just not take it much longer than expected. "Well, there's always some sort of pressure when it comes to be a Prefect, then a Quidditch player...I guess I agree with you." He told Elizabeth, nodding his head slightly.

With a surprised face, Emiliano looked at Piper when she let go of him and gave Reese and him permission to dance. He just gulped, trying not to think of the mess it would do if it happened. Then Reese declined, more surprisingly it was. "Well, just save the last dance for me...alright?" He asked her with a wide smile. He took the handkerchief back and took a deep breath. Then, listening to Penny...at least he thought it was her name, calling for some boogey time. "Would you like to go dance?" He asked Piper, giving her a shifty and playful smile.

Reese looked at Emiliano as he mentioned the last dance. He wanted his last dance to be with her? Speechless for words, she just nodded her head. Her last dance WOULD be saved for Emiliano, not questions needed. She looked at Anna then to Liz then to Piper, feeling bad for what she was about to do. She wanted to stay and finish the conversation with them, but- she wanted to grab something to drink then head over to Lima.

"I'm sorry, but- I'm going to get something to drink. Those brownies I ate are making me a bit thirsty," Reese explained to them, then turned on her heels and headed over to the bar. She glanced at Vannie and Rapunzel before she ordered herself a firewhiskey. She thanked the bartender before she headed off towards the direction of Lima and Mads.

Mads was going to HATE her for stealing his wife, but- it was something she had to do.

She made her way across the dance floor, taking a sip of her firewhiskey every now and then. She was going to gain a gizillion pounds thanks to this wedding with all of it's brownies and other delicious food that Reese will get her hands on. She was going to have to go run a mile or something to lose all the excess weight she was gaining.

Finally, she made it over to Lima and Mads, also know as the "newly weds", and gave them a quick smile. "Mr.Mads, I'm going to steal your wife for a little bit. I promise you no harm will come to her," she told him, then winked at him, "Come on, Lima." She grabbed Lima's arm and dragged her across the dance floor, to a vacant little area.

"Lima..." Reese trailed off, looking at her best friend. "Em had feelings for me, do you know that? He liked me in my fourth year, yet, nothing ever happened. Can you believe that? Emiliano Saenz liked me. I mean, come on. I was not pretty back then, nor am I now."

Low self-esteem? Check.

She was surprised as suddenly she felt someone dragging her away from Mads. Even more so that it was Reese. She raised her brows as the former Slytherin seemed to feel the need to explain herself to her husband as if she was scared of him. That was strange to her, as Reese had always seemed to have liked Mads.

"Later hunny," she called as she looked back at him. She waved farewell and snorted. She would see a lot more of him that day. And in the 3 weeks to come.

"Em used to like you?" she asked as she eyed the Firewhiskey in her friend's hand. "You're pretty, Reese... When will you finally admit it?" She put her hand to her head in frustration. Her best friend's self-esteem was as bad as her own.

Reese took another sip of her firewhiskey, trying so heard to grasp to concept that Emiliano had a secret crush on her. It was sweet and all but- Emiliano and Reese...Emese? That's some mega shipping right there. Yeah, she did have a crush on him throughout her whole fourth year, but when she went into her fifth year, things changed. She moved on. If you don't get a boy within a year, you move out. Simple as pie.

"I'm NOT pretty. I'm as plain as a barbie doll," Reese said, taking another sip of her drink. She took her eyes off of Lima for a second to look back over at Emiliano. There was on question still remaining: Did she still like him?

No.

Things happen, people change. Reese still loved Emiliano like a brother, but nothing more.

Whit walked around,saying hi to everyone she knew,searching everywhere for the bride. First she showed up late and now that she was there she couldn't find the person she was there for. 'Great!' How hard could it be to find someone in a beautiful wedding dress? Very hard,apparently.

Maybe if Whit called out her name she'd find her. Then again,everyone but Lima would turn around,with her luck. Or Lima would be off in her own little world and wouldn't notice her name being yelled. Then she figured that Lima would be with her husband so now all she'd have to do is look for a tall guy in a suit. That would be even harder.

Finally Whit found her only she was with Reese. It was Whit's turn with her. Yup. " Heeeey Reeeeese???" she said as she approached her two best friends. Surely she wouldn't mind too much right? "Im just gonna....steal Lima for a moment....k?" and she slowly started pulling Lima away with her. Surely Reese would pull back. Maybe Whit would be able to just....join their conversation? That'd be okayish too.

Rapunzel smiled as a token of thanks for Vannie's kind words and started twisting a loose strand of blonde hair around her finger. "Really? Teach me? I'm not a bright learner....but it sounds like a fun offer...."

The blonde lit up a little more. "Ah good point, too. I like this song." She started bobbing her head to a familiar (maybe?) Muggle tune...something about s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g and rhyming with delicious. Yeah.

"The tropics would be a SCHWEET vacation spot," Punz mused aloud, having never really been south of the equator. "I wonder how they're getting there...hmmhmm..."

"Yush...I have nothing better to do...than move boxes." Vanessa smiled. And she'd have time on her hands now really. "Well...I can still try." She grinned at her friends. Oh she had missed Rapunzel. "You'll have to come round to our apartment." She nodded with a smile. Well when all the boxes had gone anyway.

"Oh Punz" Vannie giggled, but the song was good, although she had never really heard it before. It must have been a muggle song. She looked at the dance floor, and watched Lima and Maddox for a few seconds. "They look so happy" She mused, smiling. They deserved to be happy.

"I know...lucky people." She giggled, with a smile. She would love to go to the tropics. "Hmm...I don't know." She shrugged, she didn't really want to know the details.

"Oooh..." her face lit up when Rapunzel pointed out Miles was here, and she turned to look at him. "Shes called Sylvia Punz." She giggled, as she thought of something.
"Punz...can you look after Sylvia...while I talk to Miles...It's kinda important." She nodded, as she grabbed her glass, and walked towards Miles.

"Hey guys," She smiled, reaching up to kiss her cheek. "Miles...I need to talk to you." She nodded, looking serious. "It's kind of important." She continued, glancing at Sylvia and smiling.

Elizabeth looked over as Cayden greeted her, smiling at him. Even with all the other awkwardness that had gone on involving her, Mari and him, it had seemed like they'd settled into more of an odd friendship. Just the fact that he called her by name said something about what had changed. "Hi Cayden," she said in response. "You don't have to leave, if you don't want to," she added, as he tried to excuse himself so her and Mari would have privacy. It wasn't like she didn't know he'd find out what they talked about later. So why not just save him a step or two?

But he'd already walked off, so she shrugged as her eyes went back to Mari. Who she really wanted to talk to, even if she wasn't sure how much she wanted to reveal.

She laughed as Mari then spoke, waving at her like her normal weird self, but returned the shrug at the first question. "It was nice. I'm really happy for them, you know. And everything was just so gorgeous," she said, before rolling her eyes as her best friend went into the true reason for their conversation almost immediately afterward. "It's not like I was ever that far away," she said, going straight to the comment about missing things. At least, she assumed Mari had known she had stayed in England after leaving Hogwarts. Even if she didn't know everything that had happened in the past three years. "I mean, I've been busy. And I've had some traveling going on too, what with press and everything. But you could have visited." The one thing she disliked about her books being published was having to go around trying to convince people to read them, but it was necessary.

She glanced in the direction of Mari's hand as her friend gestured, but then nodded. "Sure. Besides, I'd feel a little less in the way if I was sitting down," she said, only half-teasing. She knew she was going to get grilled for information.

Sighing dramatically, she quicky thought of ways that she could get this girl to finally accept that she was pretty. But, unfortunately, she didn't think that Reese would want to bother to listen to any of what she would have told her.

Instead, she just bit her lip and said, "I'm staying out out of the whole issue of your appearance, as I know I can't get you to see yourself as being pretty.. But, your personality probably had a lot to do with at least some of the feelings he had for you.. Did you ask him what attracted you to him?" She raised her brow now, figuring that Reese had probably never thought of doing that.

Em was... He was a great guy. And he would definitely see that Reese was an amazing girl. And there would lie a lot of the attraction that he had had for her. "Anyway... I hope that you won't argue with me on that point," she added dryly.

But before she could get a proper answer, she was suddenly being pulled around by another person. "Goodness, Whit!" she said laughing in a mixture of surprise and amusement. "What is it that is so important that you are trying to drag me across the dance floor?"

UGH.. She was going to need a drink soon with all this insanity. Maybe she would try some of the Firewhiskey that her husband seemed to love for some reason.

"OH HAI!" Miles copied Punz's wave as his arm waved around in the air. He turned to Sylvia and smiled. "C'mon. Lez go mingle." He said, grabbing her and and walking towards them.

Sylvia sighed and rolled her eyes as she was dragged by Miles yet again. "She called me 'Miles' sister.'" How rude. She had a name, and how could someone possibly forget her name? HOW?! Sylvia would leave that until later.

Before Miles could actually give his girlfriend a hug or anything like that, he was immedietely greeted with a serious face. "Oh." He finally said, looking at Sylvia too. "Shall we .. umm .. go somewhere quiet then? If, it's that kind of talk." - the one where no one should know. Ha.

Sylvia folded her arms. Why did she bother coming to this if she was just going to be dragged places and then left alone? Atleast she had the blonde woman with her, who acted more like a child than an adult. But maybe it was helpful, as Sylvia was a child also. "I heard you call me Miles' sister." She smiled slightly, not completely impressed. "It's Sylvia, by the way."
