Elizabeth finally made it into the reception, still wearing the same outfit she had worn to the ceremony. Although she had stopped off in a bathroom and fixed the straps of her dress so they wouldn't slip anymore, and also talked to Ludo. She was a bit disappointed that he wasn't apparently even planning on trying to make it to the reception, but she also understood he was busy, and Lima and Maddox were really more her friends than his. So she hadn't really even tried to argue.

As she come through the doorway, she grinned a little to herself. At least she didn't feel like she stuck out anymore, in her dress and boots. It appeared they weren't going too formal here. She was relieved that she had managed to still arrive before the newlyweds, though. Because if she hadn't, that would have felt awkward. Especially with her reasoning. But she only saw Reese and Jake over by the buffet, talking to another boy who she vaguely remembered from Hogwarts as one of her housemates. And Penny was over by the DJ booth. Music would be good, she thought, But food first.

Making her way over, she got there in time to hear the boy say something about Reese moving to the United States, and her interest piqued. "You're moving to the US, Reese?," she asked, before taking a small plate and putting a few tiny sandwiches on it, along with some strawberries. "That's kind of funny," she then said, thinking about how she had ended up staying in England, and now Reese was moving across the Atlantic to her home country. But then, to keep herself from making any more random comments, she quickly took a bite of one of her sandwiches, as she waited to see if the former Slytherin would answer either question. Hers or the boy's.

Wow! What a wedding that had been! It brought back memories of the summer right after graduation, when Anna had married Cale just as she was about to turn nineteen-years-old. Anna strolled into the ballroom...errr, nightclub?...and immediately took a good, long look around. Her friends could seriously throw some awesome weddings and parties! A nightclub was a fantastic idea for this particular group of people. It seemed right up their alley to celebrate the wedding with a huge, nightclub-style party.

Anna headed to the open bar and ordered a butterbeer. She sat sipping it while she glanced around the room a bit more. There was a buffet table which appeared to be piled high with more food than she could ever imagine this crowd putting away. There was, of course, a dance floor. Anna would have to try that out after she finished her butterbeer. She wished Cale would have been able to come, but then again, he didn't dance, so it wouldn't have done any good when it came to testing out the dance floor.

Another couple successfully married! Frederick was mighty pleased with himself. The ceremony had been well done, if he was saying so himself. Now that the festive part of the wedding was over, most of the guests were changing out of their complicated dresses and starched suits, putting on clothes more suitable for what appeared to Frederick to be... a party, or at least what came under the heading of party these days.

Frederick had had a change of clothes as well, but nothing fancier than an ordinary black suit clad his body now. He certainly looked out of place between all the young and beautiful people who were dancing, talking, drinking, laughing all around him - his presence probably added a good amount of years to the age average. Unperturbed, he ambled toward toward the bar and thumped on the counter to attract the barkeep's attention.

A minute later, Frederick was sipping placidly on a marginally sub-lethal amount of Firewhiskey, watching the wedding party silently.

Vanessa had enjoyed the wedding a lot. It had been very emotional, and she meant a mental note to go and give Lima a huge hug. She was so proud of her, even through all of her nerves Lima had made it.
Vannie entered the room where the reception was taking place, in her black dress, which she was feeling just the slighest bit uncomfortable in. It was a little tight around her stomach, and she didn't really want people to notice. She'd forgot about it probably later, but she just hoped that people wouldn't talk about her.
She looked around, seeing if Miles was there. She couldn't see him yet, but she hoped he'd get there soon. She needed to talk to him. She stayed near the door, so that when Miles came she could pull him away from the crowd to talk to him.

Piper sat down at the table quietly, just looking around as Emiliano left her to go get some snacks. She was feeling rather hungry, but she noticed that he had gotten way laid by a certain blonde slytherin. She smiled as she rose and walked over to where Emiliano and Reese were talking. "Hey Reese, how are you doing? It has been awhile since I have seen you." She said softly as she slipped her hand into Emiliano's. "You look nice, I really like your dress." She said smiling as she straigtened her dress trying to get out the imaginary wrinkles

"Piper..." Reese trailed off as she looked over to the girl that Emiliano was pointing out. Oh, that girl. She remembered her from school, well, vaguely remembered her. After staring at Piper for a few moments, she looked back at Emiliano. "Clothes shop? I didn't know your mother had a clothes shop," she told him.

"Oh, no. I couldn't accept a necklace after getting a bracelet. It would be too much," Reese informed Emiliano. She looked back down at the bracelet and smiled. Green and Blue. Slytherin and Ravenclaw. She wasn't sure if the green and blue on the bracelet was to represent the houses, but that's what she thought of when she looked down at it. Blushing a little, Reese looked back up at Emiliano. "And, I couldn't forget about my dashing Em," she said with a little smile on her face.

Should Reese regret to have told Emiliano her little secret? Heart pounding against her chest, she away for a moment. Maybe this was the time to get something to drink or maybe...go see Anna. She looked up at Anna when she entered the ballroom and gave her a little smile and a gentle wave. Looking back at Emiliano, Reese couldn't help but let her jaw fall. He had a crush on her, too? What the-? She never knew Emiliano was fond of her. "That's...that's interesting to know," she told him. "But, I guess you're right. Time and love does clear minds." She looked back at the buffet table, trying to hide her tears from Emiliano. She could have dated him. Gaaaaah. So many thought running through her head. Picking up another brownie and wiping her tears away, Reese turned back to Em, giving him the best smile she could manage to make.

Reese was about to reply to Emiliano's question until Liz came up. "Yeah, I'm moving to the states. Well, actually might be moving," she corrected herself. "Interesting, how so?" Turning back to Em, she began to answer his question:

"Well, you know- I just want to get away from everything. I've had so many bad memories up here in London, and I just want to get away. It's always been a dream of mine to move up to California or maybe Kansas. Somewhere far far away," she told him. She thought about all the bad memories that will be with her forever. Well, mostly the memories about Reno. Yes, he had moved away from her dad's house. But, he was still in London. And, that my people, is NOT good.

Reese bit her lower lip as she moved away from the bad memories and thought of all the good ones. If she moved, she would have less contact with people she loved. Including Cale, Jake, Lima, Em, and Anna. Also, Lima might kill her if she was miles away when the band needed her. She was Lima's right-hand woman in the band and she needed to be there for them. She also needed to be here for Jake. Yes, she graduated already, but Jake was still in school. What if he needed her advice ASAP and it took days for her owl to deliver her message across the ocean? That would be horrible.

Okay, enough with the memories. Reese needed to make her decision now. Stay or move? She looked up at Emiliano then to Jake then back to Emiliano. "I can't-I can't move," she finally said. "I need to be here for Jake- and the band- and others." Finishing off her brownie, she looked at the other people in the ballroom. "I'm staying."

Decision made. Happy? Now, she just had to tell Lima. It would probably make the rest of her day knowing that she wasn't moving miles and miles away. Lima was sort of the reason why she wasn't moving- her and the band. There was also Cale, who Reese couldn't live without seeing. If she moved, then well, seeing Cale would be limited.

Reese looked at Piper when she arrived over to her, Emiliano, and Jake. "I've been great, Piper. How about you? How have you been?" She asked her with a little smile. "Oh,thanks." She looked down at her dress then back to Piper, examining her dress. "I like your dress, too. It's very pretty," she told her.

Anna swallowed the last of her butterbeer, then headed back off into the crowd to see if she could find someone to chat with. She moved quickly through the crowd, stopping to dance every now and then when a catchy beat boomed through the room. When she'd finally made it across the room, her eyes fell on a table full of old school friends---Piper, Reese, and...who was that with them? Anna couldn't tell from where she was standing. May as well make her way over there and catch up. "Piper! Reese! How's it going?" Anna asked. "I've been here for hours and still have yet to talk to anyone but Rapunzel---who happened to be standing by the tent when I arrived. What's everyone been up to?"

Elizabeth nodded as Reese answered her question, making sure to swallow her food before she thought about saying anything. It wouldn't look very good for a twenty-year-old published author to get caught talking with her mouth full. Even if she was among people she knew. Sort of. She knew Reese, for sure, but she only vaguely remembered the other boy. "Interesting because I haven't really been back to California a lot since I graduated. That's all. So it would be like we switched. You went over to the states while I stayed here," she tried to explain. Now hopefully nobody would ask her anything about why she hadn't gone back. She was happy and everything, but it would be awkward explaining why she was here by herself and all.

She was about to say she could try and see if her family could help, especially since Reese had said she had been thinking about going to California. But before she could figure out exactly what to say, the other girl had decided to stay in England instead. Shrugging, she decided not to ask about what had influenced the decision, especially since she had caught Reese's glance at Jake. That had to be part of it there. Taking a bite of one of her strawberries, she glanced around the room again before she realized she had completely ignored everyone else who was over there. And more people had arrived too.

Flushing a faint pink, which weirdly coordinated with her dress a little, she closed her eyes for a second, before taking a deep breath. "I'm so sorry," she said to the boy who had been in Ravenclaw with her, before her green eyes flickered over to the girl who was apparently with him. "I feel terrible for not saying anything earlier, but . . . I can't remember if I actually met you before. Like, when we were all in school or whatever." She snapped her mouth shut again as she wanted to kick herself with how awkward that had sounded. Maybe explaining why Ludo hadn't come with her wasn't the only thing she had to worry about. Or her neuroses about wearing boots to a wedding, even though she felt like she was a dramatic contrast against the beautiful dresses the other girls were wearing.

But then Anna had joined the group, and she brightened a little. Maybe she could use the former Gryffindor head girl as a distraction. "Hey Anna. You look good," she said with a smile, before momentarily shoving the half eaten strawberry in her mouth as she realized even that sounded weird. What is my problem?, she thought, before going back to the conversation as Anna talked about who she'd talked to so far. "I haven't talked to very many more people than that here," she said. Rapunzel, Shana, Kayla and Mari. That was pretty much it. And now this group. "I haven't been up to a lot. Been hanging out in England for the last few years. Writing." Illicitly moving in with her boyfriend while her parents still though she lived in Wales with her cousin. But then only Rhiannon and Ariana knew about that. She hadn't trusted Jonathan, for once, and her little brother was out of the question since he told everything to their mother. And she really didn't want to have to explain anything to her mother if she got angry. She realized she had gone off into a mental tangent, and laughed a little as she looked back at Anna. "What have you been up to, the last couple years?"

Samantha Edwards was not late. Well, she was late for the ceremony, but that wasn't really her fault. She had gone over to Benny's house and helped him paint the kitchen. Her cousin's wedding was important to her, but spending time with her older brother was a tad bit more important. Finally, she had done something she hadn't done for awhile and that was put a dress on. She hadn't worn a dress in a long time and wasn't much of a fan. The worst part was the shiny red heels.

Sam didn't have time to go shopping, so she had to resort to borrowing a dress and the heels from her brother's fiance, Mona. She loved Mona like a sister already and was both happy and mad when Mona offered to help her get ready. Happy that she had a female to lend her clothes and shoes, and mad that she now had to wear this said clothes and shoes. Being more of a tomboy then anything, Sam had no idea how to get ready. So she let Mona do her hair, make up and received help climbing into the red dress.

Now she walked, or at least tried to walk without tripping, into the reception area. She recognized a few people and memories of Hogwarts began to flood her brain. Wow. Didn't see that coming. Looking down (yes she was actually looking down at somebody!) at her little brother, she gave him a slightly annoyed look, before saying, "Can we sit for a second? These things are killing me."

Tentatively walking behind his sister, Danny had his arms at the ready in case Sammy tripped. He was ready to catch her without hesitation. She wasn't all that stable in those shoes and he could see her falling on her face any minute. Falling would not do well with her temper, which he was to help keep at bay today. Yes, he was here for Lima and to help celebrate, but he promised Sammy he was going to help her stay calm. She wasn't Maddox's biggest fan to say it nicely. Something about how they met a long time ago and he was rude to her. Sammy can hold one heck of a grudge.

At Sammy's request to sit down, the thirteen year old nodded. Sitting down should help her shoe problem. Walking next to the reddish brown haired woman, he let himself take a quick glance around before turning his gaze swiftly back onto his sister, who was yelling something that their mother would not take well with. With the speed of an older brother with two mischievous twins, Danny grabbed Sammy's arm before she fell completely to the ground. Her arm flew around his neck and he firmly set both his feet on the ground. As she regained her footing again, he felt a light blush sweep over his cheeks.

Penny was finishing the touch ups when she noticed that she had a text coming in. When she looked, it was from Maddox.

it read. Penny smiled. She grabbed the mike. "Make way for the newly weds! Congradulations to the happy couple from your family and friends. And here they are, ready for their first dance as husband and wife, Maddox and Lima Darcy!" she announced. She set the mike down and started the song.

Maddox kicked the doors open with his combat boots, his arms were full with his new bride. His outfit was much more casual now. Despite the huge grin on his face, no one could know how truely and completely happy he was. "WOOO YEAH!" He yelled as Penny announced them.

Once their song started, he sat her gently down on the ground and put out his hand, "Mrs. Darcy, would you care to dance?" He grinned.

Lima giggled and almost fell out of his arms as he knocked the doors open. "Watch it! You're going to drop me on my butt!" she teasingly scolded him. She was so happy now though. She grinned at him.

She hopped out of his arms happily then grabbed his hand as he offered it to her. "I'd love to," she said winking at him.

Maddox grinned, and twirled her after she placed her hand in his. Then pulled her in by the waisted, wrapping his arms around her. He held her close, kissing her forehead, and whispering, "Mrs. Darcy," again. Everytime he said it, it just made him even more happy.


"Are you enjoying your day so far?" He asked grinning down at her, and gently kissing her on the lips.

She held him close as she danced with him and smiled as he called her Mrs Darcy. "I like that. It sounds nice, doesn't it?" She giggled as he kissed her on the forehead.

She returned the kiss. "It's been an okay day. No complaints so far," she said sticking her tongue out at him. "How has today been for you, handsome?"

Penny was swaying to the music when Eric came up behind her. She turned her head and smiled at him. Swaying to the music, Penny had a thought. Penny let out a loud wolf whistle and laughed, knowing this would earn her a glare from Mads. This was a very good day in deed.

The Maid of Honor had, of course, somehow found herself at the bar, wandering in not long after that funny minister dude.

She had liked the ceremony since it was her first wedding and all and was pleased to see that Maddox and Lima seemed to be enjoying themselves too, even if they were dressed like really really casually. The blonde glanced down at her own hodgepodge collection of Muggle clothing, then glanced back at saucy Lima dancing away with her husband, before looking at her own dress and shoes again.

Merlin's pants, why had she taken her sister's "advice" at all?! That girl was CLEARLY out to embarrass her because this didn't match, did it? Well one earring matched the Converse and one earring matched the dress but bloody hell, Jasmine was soooo getting it the next time she came to a Cannons match. Punz understood the concept of a t-shirt and jeans but a dress and a sweater and shoes...well...it was obvious she was a lost cause.

"Can I have like, a really really big mug o' butterbeer?" Rapunzel addressed the bartender politely. She kind of wanted a firewhiskey...but she'd had a bad experience with one that one time...so no....yeah, she was sticking to the good ole stuff.

It sounded more then Nice. It was quiet possibly the best thing Maddox had heard in a long time. When did he become such a sap!? "It is definitely the best thing I have heard in a long time, and its about dang time!" He grinned and kissed her nose.


Mad's shrugged. "Ehh, coulda been better." He grinned mischeviously befor dipping her. He spun her again, before pulling her back into his arms. "Though I must admit, I was quite nervous. Nico offered me a calming draught about four times, but I refused." He would rather have a firewhiskey anyday.






Maddox looked up at Penny and glared something fierce. Could they not just dance their first dance with out any interruptions...please? He rolled his eyes and looked back at his beautiful bride, deciding to ignore Penny.

"And since when have dresses and converse matched?" Vanessa commented with a grin on her face, as she came up the bar, next to her friend, who had seemed to choose a odd selection of clothing to wear. Resting her arms on the top of the bar she smiled at her friend.
"Sooo did you enjoy that Miss "Maid of Honour?" She giggled, she was enjoying this far too much. But the ceremony had been very nice, and she was glad that her makeup had been waterproof.

She glanced down at her dress again, glad that she had decided to wear black. The color was good and slimming, and the dress was quite floaty, so hopefully nobody would notice.

Jasmine was a dead girl, she was, just oooooooooooooooohooh NEVER accept fashion advice from your rival sibling. Punz was going to turn Won Won's fur purple or something later, even if that was juvenile retaliation.

"I liked the ceremony. It all seemed to go by so fast, though, ya know?" the blonde accepted her drink from the bartender and took a big, frothy butterbeer sip. Mmmm, good stuff. She ignored the foamy mustache on her upper lip now and continued talking to her friend.

"How did you enjoy the wedding, Miss Bridesmaid? I talked to Miles and his lil sister before it started!" That was fun, yep yep. Rapunzel didn't see them here yet though.

She snorted at him and said, "it sure is. I was waiting for that for a while." Even before he had proposed to her, she waited. She had wanted this for about a year now. She was so happy that it happened now.

She raised her brow. "I'm glad you didn't take it. Though that could have been funny." She laughed at the image if it in her head. "I was wearing a hole in the carpet upstairs."

Then Penny wolf whistled at them. She turned to her and frowned, but decided to have some fun with it. When Mads turned his attention back to her again, she grabbed him and pulled him towards her and gave him a passionate kiss. hehe. Penny would like that.

"Yeah, I know. Sorry it took me so long." Mads grinned. It had taken him a year to ask her, and finally he had gotten enough nerve to do it. That was a wonderful night, though today topped his list of best days. "I will have to replace the grass just behind the back of the tent." He smiled. At least the were pacing together.


Mmmm. Kissing was good. Kissing was very, very good. Lima was definitely on the right track with that one. Remembering where they were though he gently pulled out of it, giving her a small peck on the lips. "Don't worry, that wont be the last of the kisses you will get today." He grinned, leaning his forehead onto her's, which was a difficult task seeing as she was about a foot shorter then him.

"I forgive you," she said winking at him teasingly. "Are you going to sing again tonight?" She hoped he would. He really wasn't a bad singer. "And I so knew you were pacing out there," she added, smiling. She knew him too well.

She pouted when he pulled out. It was no fair. She was having fun. "Darn right that's not the last of them for tonight." She would make him kiss her at least once more before she was satisfied. "So where are you taking me?" She wanted him to cave in and tell her.

"Of course! I notice eveerrything!" Vanessa giggled, grinning at her friend. She had to admit only Rapunzel would be able to pull it off, she would just look dead stupid. "The dress loks nice though." She commented with a smile. She would have offered Punz another pair off shoes, but her spare pair would probably just be too tiny.

"Cute...and slimming." She spoke to herself, as she rubbed her hands over her stomach. At least hopefully nobody would notice, unless they were very observant of her stomach, and she guessed that nobody would be doing that. Not at a wedding party anyway.
"Yeah. Twas so nice though." She nodded with a smile. Lima was going to be so happy.

"Oh of course. Andd I didn't fall over." Vannie giggled, smiling. She was so proud. "oooh?" Vanessa nodded, she was glad that he was here. "I need to talk to him."

Taking her eyes off the group in front of her, Reese scanned the dance floor. She wanted to dance to some music, but she wouldn't dare ask Emiliano to dance, since his girlfriend was around and she might get jealous. Jake wasn't answering her question about dancing, so she guessed he didn't want to dance. Who else was there? There was Miles, who she saw walking to the alter. But- Vannie. That was what was keeping her from dancing with Miles. Vannie might not like it if she danced with her boyfriend. There was also Cam- wait, what was she thinking? There was NO way on Earth she would dance with Cam.

After going through all the possible people she could dance with, Reese came to the conclusion that she wouldn't be dancing anytime soon. If she danced, she would probably be dancing by herself. That wasn't so bad, right?

Reese looked back at the group once Liz started talking about California...and switching...and wait, stop. Liz hasn't been to California in a while? But- didn't Liz like California? Gaaaah. She was so confused right now, but decided not to bring up the topic about her staying here. If she wanted to say something about it, Liz would have told her. So, instead, she just nodded her head and said, "That's interesting and it would be weird- you know- the switching and stuff."

Yet, her decision was made. Reese was going to stay in England with all her friends. And, speaking of friends, here comes her best friend in the whole wide world right now:

"AnnaAnnaAnnaAnnaAnna," Reese squealed as she ran over and hugged her. After hugging her for what seemed like hours, she finally let go of Anna and stepped back a few steps, giving Anna her space. "I'm good, like usual. How about you? How are you? How are you and Cale doing?" She asked, trying not to throw out too many question at one time. Yes, she did ask about Cale, Anna probably knew she would be asking about him, since like, they were pretty much like siblings.

When she heard someone say something about the Lima and Mads...coming? Now? Reese took her eyes of Anna and looked towards the door when the newly weds walked in. Ohmygosh. They looked so cute together. Lima couldn't have found someone better. Mads was just so perfect for her. Giving both Lima and Mads a smile and a little applaud, she looked back to Anna, but still kept looking at Lima and Mads every now and then, watching them dance.

Uh oh...
Had Piper heard what he just said to Reese? Emiliano hoped she didn't. So when she appeared and held his hand, he just smiled at his girlfriend and looked at the women speak about her dresses. It just felt kind of akward for him at the moment to raise his voice. His stomach was shooting those butterflies way too strong that day.

"Well, she started a franchise of clothes shops at Mexico, around the big cities. The business grew really fast and she decided to make it international. So far, she's back with me and Diana for a while...and she said I should be looking out for old friends and invite them home...again." He commented, giving Reese a shifty smile as he remembered those funny moments spent at the Saenz Residence, almost falling into the water fountains at the residence garden. "...so, if you need an emergency dress...the shop is ready for some special guests." He informed, gesturing with his hand towards the girl, making sort of a bow.

After that weird moment when he had confessed to Reese his past feelings, Em noticed she was sort of crying? Oh, no...he never wanted that...not that day. "Hey, I'm sorry I never said anything...I was in sort of a confusing moment at that time...but I will always love you as one of my best friends..." She said, taking her hand and smiling at her. "...and you can count on me whenever you want, alright?" He told her, hoping that would make the tears go away. "I don't want that perfect make-up to get ruined...so, here you go." Emiliano said, taking his handkerchief from one of his shirt pockets and offering it to Reese.

Just before Piper had arrived, Reese announced she would be staying. "Great, I'm really glad..." He truly said, giving her a grin and really happy she would stay at England. He just wanted to still have contact with his old school friends, no matter for past feelings.

A girl approached. Em kind of knew her, just by sight but he knew who was Anna Greingoth. Gryffindor's Head Girl. He smiled at her then showed his hand to introduce himself. "Anna Greingoth...I'm Emiliano Saenz, pleasure to finally meet you" He said with a smile. "...how did life go after graduation?" He asked, knowing she had gone out of school about two years ago.



It sure felt weird to meet people who Em was supposed to know since he had arrived at Hogwarts. But things happened, maybe they didn't go around the same social circles. And then Elizabeth appeared as well. She had been a prefect, right?? The way she introduced himself to Piper and him just made him feel more akward than it was. He took a deep breath and began to speak. "Oh, not to worry. There are opportunities that we all could have met at Hogwarts but they never were there." He commented. "I introduce you Piper Snow, my girlfriend and Gryffindor, " Em said, gesturing with his hand towards Piper as he got hold of his waist for a while, "...and I am Emiliano Saenz, Ravenclaw. I remember you, being a prefect, perhaps?" He asked, hoping he didn't forget about those old days at school.
