There. His tie was straight. Evolette smiled at it, quite pleased with herself at that moment. Her eyes trailed up, until she was looking at his face again, Merlin he was so cute when he got flustered, and that hair. She just wanted to play with it. But, it probably wouldn't be appropriate to do that when he was trying to explain something to her.

So.... He wanted to be there, but he didn't want to be there? Ah. Nothing new. Nothing she didn't already know. Smiling comfortingly, she dropped her hand down to take his, intertwining their fingers. "You don't need to worry. They will like you." she knew that that wasn't going to help, and that he was going to be a little nervous.

Not everyone was a social butterfly like Evolette, that much she knew.

Smirking, as he picked up on her offer to leave, she arched an eyebrow at him, "You know, we could always visit the coat room again." she replied, her blue eyes trailing around the room, searching for the first person to introduce him to, "If you're a good boy, that is." she added, stealing a glance back at him, giggling teasingly.

Even if he wasn't a good boy.... hah. Okay where was everyone?

She gave a loud sigh as she saw just the person she had been trying to avoid the whole day standing right in her path. She would have to walk past Evee to get to her drink. And that meant that she would have to talk to her. Being the Bride could suck majorly at times, she realized.

Planting a huge fake smile on her face, she strode over to her... rival? and said, "hello, Evee. I'm glad you made it today. I hope you are having a good time." UGH! She was only doing this for Mads. If Evee wasn't one of his good friends, the girl would have never been invited in a million years. But at least that Willow woman wasn't there.

She was thinking how great that was, when she suddenly saw a rather good looking man with Evee. "And who is your friend?" she asked looking at the stranger with a genuine smile this time.

How could people consider the clothing he was wearing as comfortable, he would never know. Granted, it wasn't like it actually physycally bothered him, but it just felt wrong. Absolutely improper.

That muggle fabric they made pants of -pants that were called jeans- was something he was not particularly fond of. Unconsciously, his nose wrinkled with distaste.

Well, at least he was wearing a tie.

But back to Evolette. "I'm sure they will," he mused, sounding a little bit distracted. Which was normal because he was distracted, bracing himself for what was coming. He was right, though - there was no reason for them (he hoped that with them Evolette had meant a few people only) to not like him; it wasn't like he was planning to say much.

"As tempting as that sounds," and it truly did, "I'm afraid that's not an advisable thing to do, as I believe we have company." He gestured with one hand at the blonde whom he believed was the girl who had just gotten married.

And why was she calling Evolette Evee? Didn't they dislike each other? Well, Evolette certainly disliked her . . . perhaps the girl was not aware of this? Perhaps she thought they were friends?

Most importantly - was Evee Evolette's nickname? Was he supposed to know that?

Merlin, he hoped not. One because he would be semi-doomed if that was the case, and two simply because the young man was not used call people by their nicknames; he didn't have anything against them, it was just that they seemed pretty pointless to him.

Either way, the girl was clearly expecting him to say something, judging by the way she smiling at him. And so, he allowed a perfectly amicable smile to appear on his lips. "Nikola Kovac, and I believe it is a pleasure to meet you, miss." Yeah, because he didn't know her name.

Shake hands, a little voice inside his head told him.

And so he held his hand out for her to shake it.

Nicholai. Maddox. Nicholai. Maddox. Nicholai. Maddox. Maddox. Nicholai.

Cool blue eyes searched the room, hoping to spot one, or both preferably. Those two were really the only ones she'd been wanting to see. Hugo wasn't even there, and she did see Miles quite often enough, that if she missed him this time, she'd just go to his house.

But, alas, her hopes of seeing the boys, and leaving quickly, as she did not intend on spending more than an hour there, were dashed, as soon as Lima appeared. Taking a deep breath, Evolette slowly dragged her eyes to see the bride, and all she could think of was.. EW.

Pull it together McKenna. You are an adult. She had been hoping, in the event that she'd actually had to talk to Lima, that the girl would have grown out of her pettyness, but once again, her hopes were dashed, she was still the same Lima. Ick.

"Hello Lima." she replied, trying to let the "Evee" thing not bother her. No one called her Evee anymore. Well, they did, but she wished that they wouldn't. She hated that name. The only reason she endured it was because the people that she loved used it. So, obviously, she did NOT like it when Lima used it.

"Beautiful wedding. Congratulations." she added, trying her best to actually be friendly. It had been years since she'd last seen Lima, she was sure the both of them had grown up enough not to care about the silly drama. Well, at least she knew she had.

However, this was really pushing it. If Lima said one ill thing, goodbye grown up Evolette, hello Evee.

She was suddenly glad that she didn't have to introduce Nikola, for he had introduced himself. Good, the less she had to actually talk to Lima, the better she'd be able to hold it together.

She had noticed, however, that he was being quite cordial and sweet. Wasn't he worried about meeting new people? She couldn't understand why, because he was very good at it.

Squeezing his fingers gently, she smiled at him. Good job. Good show.

"Yes." She picked up where he had left off, "Nikola is my boyfriend." she struggled to keep her eyes on Lima and not over the girl's head, hoping that someone would save her from her misery.

Taking his hand in a friendly handshake, she said, "well, it's nice to meet you, Nik. I'm Lima." Whoops, she gave him a nickname. She hoped he didn't mind. "Er, you don't mind being called Nik, do you?" What if he was one of those people that hated them? And she only just met him too.

But the falseness of Evee's greeting and wishes snapped her back to reality. Turning back to the former Slytherin, she tried not to frown. "Why thank you. Me and Maddox appreciate it." As she spoke, she turned her head momentarily to see him chatting with Penny and Eric at the DJ table.

"Oh," she said with a weak smile on her lips as she found out that they were dating. "That's good to hear. When did you guys meet?" That was a general question that she was sorta hoping that Nikola would answer.

Pocketing the hand that had just shook the bride's, he listened to her speak. Nik? Was that short for Nikola? Well, this was certainly unexpected; last thing he was expecting to happen today (and he was expecting MANY things to happen) was to receive a nickname, let alone from someone he hardly knew. But it wasn't so bad - as long as every single person he knew didn't start to come up with several derivations of his name. "It is quite alright. I don't really mind." And just for good measure, he commanded the muscles of his face to work on a little but friendly smile. "Lima?" Like the capital of Peru? "And that's short for ... ?" Yeah, he was not calling her Lima if that was a nickname. It would be improper, for he didn't really know her.

Watching with the corner of one of his gray eyes the way Evolette interacted with the girl, Nikola had to be nothing but impressed - despite her clear dislike for the blone young woman before them, she was handling the situation quite well, if he did say so himself.

But then, women were probably one of the most confusing -yet utterly alluring- creatures he had ever came across with. So he could be wrong.

. . . Uh-Oh.

How did they meet?

That was a very good question.

He knew it had been three years ago at the very least since the day they had met. But the truth was that back when that had happened, he had not paid much attention to Evolette - needless to say, actually noticing her had happened only a few weeks ago.

But the bride was expecting an answer, and something told him that if he messed up this one, Evolette would not be pleased. "Well," he began, after having hesitated a couple of times, "It was a few years ago," how many exactly, Nikola wasn't sure, but he kept going anyway, "Through my sister. Evolette is one of her best friends."

That was true. Now, he just hoped the girl wouldn't ask for any kind of details.

Ahhhhhhhh.

Okay, this has been lovely, but Nikola and I need to run away go now. Have fun, and do tell Maddox congratulations for me. Ta!

That was exactly what Evolette wanted to say. She wanted to leave. Run. Go home. No. Go back to the coat room. Yeah. She wanted to get away from Lima and kiss her boyfriend. Bliss that would be. Sadly, that was not going to happen. She knew Maddox wouldn't like it if she left without at least talking to him.

Then Lima asked a question that threw her for a loop. How did they meet? Ummmmm..... "Oh good question. One that I am sure Nikola would be happy to answer for you." she replied, listening closely.

She hadn't pinned Nikola as one of those people who would mark something like that on his calendar, and quite honestly, if he did, it would be quite stalkeresque. So, she was thankful that when she looked at him, she could see that he was trying to remember as well.

It hadn't been anything exciting afterall, Evolette had gone to Willow's house, Willow introduced them and then pulled her away to talk about Dominic -gag- that was what happened when they met. Plus, Evolette couldn't remember, but she was sure Nikola had a girlfriend at that point.

She'd always found him good looking, but she really hadn't paid much attention, seeing as she was TRYING not to flirt with her friend's brother, plus, he wasn't really her type then.

Then, one day, he just asked her out. At a pool party none the less. She never asked him why, so, yeah. She didn't know.

"It was a few years ago. Through my sister. Evolette is one of her best friends."

Nikola's explanation was rather perfect though. She was sure Lima had thought she was going to hear some terribly romantic story or something, as she struck Evolette to be the kind of girl who still believed in destiny, and for that, she smirked, keeping her mouth shut, lest she snap at Lima for being so... Lima like.

She was relieved when he seemed not to have minded it that much when she called him Nik. Even though he seemed a bit surprised non-the-less. Oh well. "So are you having a good time today?" she asked hoping that he wasn't feeling awkward being at the wedding of two people that he had never met before. "You need to meet my husband too, before you go."

And he was asking if her name was the same as the Capital of Peru. She chuckled. Everyone said that. "Well, I'd say that it's more like Lemur."

Yeah, he would think she was really weird now, but that was okay.

"It's short for Whigalima, but that's not my name anymore. I don't let anyone call me that other than my cousin and brother." She had actually had it legally changed shortly after she Graduated, but she didn't think that that was something that was really necessary for him to know.

She was happy when Evee let Nik answer the next question. And she wasn't really surprised that he wasn't really able to remember exact details. She knew that guys were like that; they didn't always keep track of those dates on the most part. "Well, that's nice..." She was not really sure how to reply further, so she just let that drop. Yeah.

"So um, I guess you want to talk to Mads.." she finished, shrugging, as she looked at Evee. Hopefully he would be done talking to Penny and Eric soon, but she could never know with him. He could talk to Penny for ages sometimes. A part of the whole best friend thing.

Emiliano nodded, Piper spoke. She was apologizing way too much. He placed his finger on her lip then smiled, "Hey...I should be saying sorry, not you...my past as that kid who used to have many girls around still affects our relationship..." He told her, slowly letting go of Piper. "And I say...sorry. I'm really sorry." Em added, giving her a smile.

"I love you..." He said once again, then pulled her into a hug.

Reese watched Lima walk away and sighed. She took one last look at the microphone, then slowly walked away. She needed something else to drink, like right now. She picked up her firewhiskey bottle that was sitting on the ground and headed back over to the . She took a seat at the far end of the table and sat the empty bottle on the counter in front of her. She ordered a butterbeer and waited patiently for the bartender to hand it to her. When he did, she began to drink it.

Tristian stood in the corner of the ballroom, watching all the ladies walk past him. He wasn't going to be able to do this much longer. He couldn't sit here and watch all these beautiful ladies, yet, not being able to flirt with them. Some of the ladies were with guys...shudder... he didn't want to get hurt by a guy for flirting with his girlfriend or friend, whatever they were to to the guy. Crossing his arms, he just stood there, leaning against the wall, watching everyone.

Penny was still dancing when she changed the song. When the new song started she picked up the mike. "Ok all! Here is an oldie, but it is a goodie." she said and put the mike down. Looking around, she saw Mads by himself and waved to him. She looked around some more and saw everyone having a good time. Then she saw Tristian, in the corner. She rolled her eyes. The she had a thought. "Tristian, I see you and you need to get out on that floor and boogey!" she told him. She set the mike down and turned to Eric. "Enjoying yourself sweetie?" she asked him then kissed him.

Eric smiled as Penny was dancing around. She was so beautiful. She was so alive and she was doing a good job DJing. When she asked him if he was enjoying himself, he replied, "When I am with you, I always enjoy myself." and kissed her back.

Maddox grinned at the song change, but instead of dancing, went up to the DJ tables where Penny and Eric were. He quickly hopped up, and walked around the table, pulling Penny into a giant hug. "Thank you for doing this for me. I really appreciate it." Then he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Are you both having a good time?" He asked trying not to leave Eric out of the conversation.

Penny laughed when Maddox hopped up to where she and Eric were. Then he pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek. She laughed harder. "Hey Buddy. Of course. As you can tell, I am having a blast." she said to him. Then she went back to dance to the song.

Eric smiled at Maddox. "I am. Penny is doing an amazing job. She take any task and make it fun. That was a beautiful ceremony, by the way." he said to him. He turned to watch Penny do a pop and lock. Oh, that girl, she can dance.

Piper looked up at Em as he placed his finger on her lips and she shook her head when he said he should apologize. "Em.." She wasn't able to get much more in, for he continued to talk. "You are forgiven, It's alright, honestly. I need to be less paranoid.." She admitted as he let go of her.

"Emiliano.." She whispered, her face frowning a bit, until he pulled her back into his arms. "And I love you! So much!" She said smiling softly as she put her arms around him. She rested her head on his chest, and smiled gently..This was where she belonged, this was home...

Maybe... Just maybe... Tristian should go talk to someone. It didn't make him look good by sitting in the corner doing nothing. Haha. What was he saying? He ALWAYS look good. No matter what he was doing, sitting or standing. Unlike many people, he was born with good lucks.

Hearing his name over the microphone, Tristian looked up at Penny and shook his head at her. He didn't dance... nor boogey. He waved his hand at Penny, telling her that he wasn't going to dance, and then headed over to the bar. Sitting down in one of the chairs, he ordered himself some water. Wait, no. No water. He wanted butterbeer. Butterbeer was way better than water. Telling the bartender he wanted butterbeer instead, he gave the man a quick smile then looked away towards to dance floor.

He looked back at the bar when the bartender handed him his butterbeer. Thanking the nice man, he took a sip of it.

Sam reached over and took a drink from her glass of water. There were people everywhere! Some she recognized and others she didn't. She was getting a little bored sitting at the table, but she was scared some one would make her dance on the dance floor. Scary thought. But she needed to stretch her legs. Time to get up.

Looking over to her younger brother, she poked him in the side to get his attention. He jumped slightly at her touch and she chuckled. Danny was always the jumpy person. "Wanna walk around? See if we can find Lima Bean?" she asked, getting up from the table. Where should they go to first?

Danny glanced around slowly, taking in the scene. It was a nice place, even if it was making him feel slightly claustrophobic. There were a lot of people here, people he has never seen before. He didn't even know Lima knew this many people. But they all seemed to be having a good time. He was just about to turn back to his older sister when he felt somebody poke him in the side. Instinctively, he jumped before making eye contact with the chocolate brown eyes of his sibling.

He couldn't help but let a smile slip onto his pink lips as Sammy said "wanna". She was now a fully grown adult and she still couldn't speak properly. If their mom were here she would've scrutinized her improper grammar. But he knew better than to correct her.

At her request to look for their cousin, he nodded. Waiting for her to stand up first, he gently stood up and pushed in his chair after. He then rolled his eyes as he pushed in Sammy's chair too. Following after the long haired women, he let his eyes wander around the room again. He then spotted the blond. She was radiating pure happiness as she spoke with some people he didn't recognize. Touching Sammy's arm lightly, he pointed in Lima's direction.

Turning toward where Danny was pointing, Sammy finally spotted her beautiful cousin. She walked straight toward her, almost tripping once in the obnoxious heels and set her hand on Lima's back to get her attention. "Lima Bean! Congrats!" she said excitedly and gave her a huge hug. She then stepped aside as Danny gave her a shy hug and whispered a Congratulations to her. "So how does it feel to be married?"

She was happily surprised when she felt a hand on her back and heard the voice of her cousin. She turned around and grabbed Sam in a hug, pulling Danny in as well.

"I am so happy to see you two! I thought that you guys couldn't make it when I couldn't spot you at the ceremony." She squeezed them tightly for a moment before letting go. Then she was thoughtful at Sam's question. "It feels wonderful! I'm so happy. And I'm sure that he will want to talk with you at some point."

She wasn't really positive about that as well, Mads wasn't Sam's biggest fan. But she figured that it was best if she tried putting a good face on things as much as she could. She turned her gaze to the DJ for a moment before setting it back on her cousin, taking in her appearance.

"Um, you want to take your shoes off?" she asked blinking. Sam was wearing heels.. This was something that she never thought would happen as long as she lived. And the girl was obviously hating it.

"Take your heels off, you silly goose." she laughed.

Maddox rolled his eyes at Penny. He was so much better at dancing then she was, but he liked to watch her try. Then hearing Eric speak to him over the loud music, he turned to listen.

"Yes, she surely can, and thank you." Noticing a certain beautiful brunette out on the dance floor, he grinned and decided he needed to save her. "I gotta go. Mingle with the guests and all." He waved and jumped off of the platform.





Maddox sneakily maneuvered across the dance floor so that Evolette couldnt see him. He could tell she was so ready to run for the door when he finally got up to the small group that consisted of herself, his wife (whom she wasn't fond of), and some guy he had never seen before.

He slowly came up behind her, and placed his arm gently around her shoulder, grinning. "Well hello there beautiful."

She suddenly saw Mads sneak up behind Evee. She raised her brow curiously but didn't say anything. He was such a goof at times. She watched.

When he finally made himself known she said, "well, it's about time you came and saved us from our misery." She snorted. She hated awkward moments so much.

"Well, I'm going to get my Firewhiskey now I think," she added, glad that she was momentarily relieved.

She headed to the bar and placed her order. When she got her glass she sniffed it. UGH It smelled awful. Oh well..

She headed back to the group and took a sip. It was horrible! "OMG! How can you drink this stuff, Mads? It's dreadful. Here you can have mine." Shuddering, she handed the rest over to him.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Evolette needed something to do, to keep herself in the room, and stop herself from running away screaming, dragging Nikola behind her.

Her eyes landed on the bar, and she quickly tried to think of a good excuse to leave, but, she didn't think Nikola would appreciate being left alone in a room full of people that he didn't know, and as much as she wanted to, she would feel bad if she just left him there with Lima.

Suddenly, she felt an arm wrap around her shoulder. At first, she thought it was Nikola, but he was on the other side of her, still holding her hand. When she heard Maddox's low voice in her ear, she grinned.

SAVED.

"Maddox!" she squealed, giving the Groom a much happier receiving, twirling around, she hugged him quickly. Evolette had forgotten how much she actually missed him until she finally got to see him. She was sure the same would go for Nicholai as well. If she ever saw him that was.

Pulling back, she allowed her eyes to run over him, sizing the now married man up, "Well, you look quite handsome. Congratulations!" she told him, much more like the Mads she remembered than the one she saw earlier, in a suit.

That was when she heard the best thing ever. Lima was leaving! Wheeeeee! Evee could have done a happy dance. HOWEVER, her joy was short lived, when the blonde returned, only 5.8 seconds later. Merrrr.

Reaching out beside her, she took Nikola's arm, tugging on him so that he would step a bit closer as she introduced him to Maddox.

"Maddox Darcy, this is Nikola Kovac, my boyfriend." she announced, waving a hand between the two of them. "And of course, you've met Lima." she added quickly, trying again at that "being nice thing"

Her blue eyes shot up to Nikola's face, waiting to see how he would handle meeting Maddox. Lima had been a different story, actually quite a handy warm up. But this was a test, one that she was sure he would pass.

Penny rolled are eyes as Mads jumped down then she and Eric waved to him. Penny watched as some of the people were on the floor dancing. Looking over just as Tristian shook his head and waved, she glared at him. Penny turned to Eric. "Hunny, I will be back." she told him. She was of the platform before he could awnser. Dodging the crowd on the dance floor she made her way over to where Tristain was sitting. She tapped him on his shoulder. Then she said, "Get off that stool and dance with me." Before he could say anything she grabbed his hand and pulled.

Tristian turned his attention to the two girls the girls that were sitting a few chairs away from him. One of them he remembered being his sister's maid of honor...what was her name again? Pretzel? That's what his sister called her. Thinking about Pretzels, one sounded pretty good right now. A pretzel with cinnamon on it. Oh, wait. Getting of topic. Back to the girl NAMED Pretzel. He tried so hard the remember her real name. He took another sip of his butterbeer as he started to think about it. Then-

Rapunzel. That's what the pretty girl's real name was. Finishing up his butterbeer, he sat the bottle on the counter and turned back to the girl. He put on a smile, then opened his mouth to talk, but then Penny had came over to him. His smile faded and he turned to Penny.

"Can't you see I'm busy?" He informed her, motioning his hand over to the girl he hasn't even talked to yet, "Penny, I'm not dancing. I don't feel like dancing right now. Plus, I haven't danced in ages. I'm not even sure if I can dance properly." Maybe that was a tiny little lie. He did go out dancing every now and then, but Penny didn't need to know that.

"I don't want to make a fool of myyyyyy-" Before he could finish the sentence, Penny took his hand and pulled him off his seat. "HEYHEYHEY," he exclaimed, pulling his hand out of her grasp and fixing his tie, "You don't touch me, you hear that?" Girls... Ehhh- what was he saying. He didn't mind if Penny touched him, pushed him, hugged him.... heck, she can kiss him if she wanted to. Penny was a cute girl, prettier than that Pretzel girl sitting a few chair down from them.

Penny rolled her eyes at Tristian when he started to whine. Yes, he was being whiney. "One thing, you were not busy. You are never busy." she told him. As he went on, she just shook her head. Penny had him on the middle of the dance floor by the time he pulled his hand from her. She, again, rolled her eyes. "Now listen here, brother of the bride. You are not going to leave this floor till you dance with me. And so that means I have to TOUCH you. So you better get over yourself in a hurry." she said. She started to move her hips to the beat and then she started to get in to the song. She then grabbed his hand and used it to spin. "Quit being a baby Tristian and loosen up." she told him.

Tristian looked around the dance floor then back to Penny, who started dancing. Oh, my. She was so cute when she danced. "Never busy? What are you talking about, Penny? I'm ALWAYS busy," he said, grinning slightly, "I was lucky just to be able to fit the wedding into my tight schedule." He crossed his arms when Penny said he wasn't going to leave the floor until he danced with her. "Fine..." he said, then moved his hips a little bit. "There, I danced with you. Now, I'm going to go back to the bar." With that said, he turned around and headed back towards the seat he was pulled away from a little bit ago.

Before he reached his seat, he turned back to look at Penny. Something in side of him was actually telling him to go out there and dance. But- he didn't WANT to! But- goshdarnit. This was his only chance to dance with the hottest girl in this room and he was turning the the opportunity down. He ran his fingers through his blonde hair then headed back over to Penny. "Let's dance-" He said, then pulled her closer to him and placed his hands on her hips.

Reese finished up her butterbeer and placed the bottle on the table in front of her. She turned around in her seat and glanced at all the people dancing on the dance floor. Sigh. She wanted to dance, but- the only person she knew she was dancing with was Emiliano, but he was saved for her last dance. Who else was there to dance with?

She shifted her eyes over to the DJ stand and grinned. It was Eric! She remembered him from the wedding rehearsal when they were putting up decorations. She got into this conversation with him and...yeah, he seemed pretty cool. Smiling to herself, she got out of her chair and headed over to him.

"Hello Eric," she called out, waving her hand. When she got close enough to him, she asked, "So...are you DJing until Penny gets back from her little dance with Lima's brother?" Duuuuuh- he had to be. That was such a stupid question to ask.

Penny was listening to Tristain ramble on. "You know Tristain, always being "busy" is going to get you into trouble. If not with the women themselves, with your sister. And if you hurt her, forget the wrath of Maddox. You will have to deal with me." She told him. That was a little harsh but Lima is like her sister. Then she stopped her rant when he said that he danced. "What?" she said shocked. "You call that dancing?" she said as she whet to grab his shirt, but she realized he was to far away. She started after him with her hands on her hips. Then she decided what the heck and started dancing again.

When she came back up after she did a dip, she jumped. Tristian was standing there in front of her. When he said lets dance and pulled her to him, she laughed. She put her hands on his shoulder and said "Ok." She started swaying to the music. "So what made you change your mind?" she asked him.

Eric was watching Penny dance with some guy that he did not know. Then he heard another voice. "Hi Reese." he said with a smile. "I am, but I have like no clue what I am doing. This is all Penny here." he said while looking at the settings. He looked back to where Penny was dancing with the guy. All he knew was that the guy was Lima's brother. "You were pretty in the wedding, as you are now." he said when he looked back to her. He was trying to avoid the question that kept popping up in his head. "How well do you know that guy Penny's dancing with?" he asked Reese.
