Harry laughed and looked up at Hermione and Cathy, "When will the two of you get off of his back?" he asked with a smile. JAcey smiled and nodded at M. Pomfrey, taking the bottle of potion, she plugged her nose and swallowed it quickly, "Ick." Ron smirked at Hermione, "You of all people should know that I am the best snog Hermione." he relplied. Jacey looked up at Ron and Hermione, "That's right... you two snogged, lucky Hermione, I woulsn't mind getting a good snog from Ron." she said with a laugh |
Cathy grinned. "Well, maybe in a few years, after he has become rich and the rest of us poor...and then after we get money off of him we'll resume!" she said with a grin. "So who's better?" she asked JAcey silently. "Ron, Harry, or Draco?" she asked, grinning. Hermione smiled. "Well, he kissed me, so no way am I backing off now!" she said with a grin. "And I don't know that you're the best...I haven't kissed Harry, or Malfoy..." she said, turning to Jacey. "Think Malfoy would let me see if he's a good snog?" she asked Jacey, just to see what Ron would do. |
"Well, I've never actually snogged Ron." Jacey said, "But out of Harry and Draco, I will have to say Draco." she added with a small smile. At Hermione's question, Ron and Harry looked at Jacey intently, knowing that her response would be unpredictable. JAcey looked up at Hermione and faked a smile, "Well I don't know, Mione, you should just go u to him and snog him." she said with a laugh. "Well, I don't know about you four, but I am ready to get out of here!" she said, pulling the blankets away. |
Cathy laughed, but it only appeared as if she was laughing at the situation they were in. She winked at Jacey, and turned to Hermione. "Well, I would dare you to do it, but we're not playing yet, are we?" she asked. Hermione shook her head. "Do you really think Malfoy would want to snog a mudblood like me?" she asked, using Draco's favorite nickname for her. "But I know he would enjoy it...Victor said I was very good," she said, winking at JAcey and Cathy as she imitated Victor's accent. She was still waiting to see how Ron would react. |
Ron tried not to gasp, but he couldn't help it, "I thought you said you didn't snog him!" he said loudly. Jacey laughed at Cathy and nodded, "You know i never turn down a dare." she said with a smirk, climbing to the edge of the bed where Ron was sitting, she kissed him. Harry laughed out loud and looked at Hermione to see what she would do. |
Hermione shrugged, but watched with a small smile as she saw Jacey snog Ron. "Well, I did," she said, for some reason wanting to get even with Ron. "And now, you have to tell me, who was better? JAcey or me?" she asked, winking at Jacey. "Of course not... I would also dare Hermione to snog Draco, but I don't think that's going to happen," she said quietly. She grinned as Jacey snogged Ron and she watched Hermione out of the corner of her eye. "Ooo! good question!" she said under her breath. |
Ron smirked when Jacey pulled away from him, he looked at Hermione and laughed, "Jacey." he said, without taking a moment to consider. Jacey sat back and bit her lip, "Come on you guys, let's get out of here." she said with a smile, climbing out of her bed and over Harry's chair. Harry nodded, "Yes, let's." he said standing up, he didnt wantto be dared to do anything. |
Hermione paled, but she didn't show it. As they were all getting up to leave, she pulled out her wand. Quickly, she casted the spell to make Ron's mouth a beak again, but so he wouldn't notice. Cathy watched Hermione do this, and began to laugh. But she quickly covered it with a cough. "Sheesh Jacey! I think you infected me!" she said, grinning. |
JAcey looked at Cathy and raised an eyebrow, "What?" she asked. looking at Ron, she started to laugh, "ROn your-" then she stopped talking as Harry threw his hand over her mouth, "No, don't say anything." he whisoered to her, laughing as he did. She nodded and pulled away from him perhaps a bit too quickly, and walked beside Ron, trying her hardest not to laugh, "So... where are we going?" she asked them |
"Yeah, Ron, you have something right here," Cathy covered for Jacey, pointing to his forehead. "Here, let me get it," she said, and wiped her sleeve over his face as they passed a mirror. "There, all gone!" she said, smiling. Hermione hid a grin. Her friends were being so supportive. She grinned at Cathy and nodded in approval. "So, where are we off to?" she asked, looking at them. "Perhaps to the lake for a swim?" she suggested, grinning. |
Harry nodded."To the lake it is then." he said with a laugh, trying his best not to break down and tell Ron about the beak. Ron had a feeling that something was wrong and he looked at Hermione, "Change back whatever you did, or I will snog you right here in the hall infront of everyone!" he said to her. Jacey held her breath as she looked around the hall, hoping to see Draco, she saw him out of the corner of her eye and smiled happily, hoping he had seen her as well. |
Draco had just handed off the last of his homework. As he was about to turn down a hall, he saw Jacey with her group. He walked over and began to walk with them. "Where are we headed?" he asked, noticing that Ron had a beak. "Nice Weasly...I'm sure that will persuade her," he said with a sneer. Hermione grinned at Ron. "How do you know I did something?" she asked innocently. She made sure that there was plenty of room between herself and Ron so that she could get away if needed. Cathy glanced over and saw Draco. "Think we should have Draco and Hermione kiss?" she asked Jacey. She watched Ron as he tried to threaten Hermione, shaking her head slightly in silent laughter. |
Ron got angry and stalked off, back to the hospital to find Madame Pomfrey. Harry was too busy eyeing Draco to even notice that his best mate had left. Jacey smiled at Draco and reached for his hand, after making sure that the hallway had cleared, "The lake I believe, would you like to come with?" she asked, not sure what his answer or reaction would be. Harry finally managed to pry his eyes off of Malfoy and noticed that Ron had left, "I'm uh, just gonna. uh, see you girls later." he said before walking off, making sure not to say anything to Draco. JAcey heard Cathy's question but didn't want to chance it, she never knew what would happen if she had. |
Cathy watched as both the boys left. "Harry! Ron!" she called, sighing. She turned to JAcey. "We'll see you later," she said, smiling and then racing after the boys. Hermione waved and followed after them. "Ron, come back, I'll fix it," she called to him, still smiling about casting it. She raised her wand and removed the spell, and Ron turned back to the way he was nornally. Draco took Jacey's hand. "Was it something I said?" he asked, watching as the four ran away. HE felt a small tingle of remourse, but it didn't last long. "So, are we still going to the lake?" he asked. |
Ron stopped walking outside of the hospital and smirked, "Well its about time that you guys showed up, honestly, don't you think Jacey and Draco need some more to be alone, especially without me and Harry there. Harry laughed, "Come on Ron, are you serious? They don't need any more time alone. Jacey smiled, "No it wasn't you hardly said ten words." she said soothingly, then she looked up at him, "We don't have to, we can go anywhere we wish. I kind of feel like a game of truth or dare." she added with a smirk, "Are you in?" |
Draco grinned. "Why am I not surprised?" he asked, laughing. "I'm in, but I have to warn you, I'm not that good at it!" he said, laughing. Cathy looked at Hermione. "at least he can talk normally now," she said with a giggle. "C'mon guys, it wouldn't have been so bad...he's changing a bit!" she said with a shrug. Hermione shook her head. "I don't think he's changed that much," she said to Cathy. |
Harry nodded, "I think we should go back. They've spent too much time alone already." he said, grabbing Ron's arm and starting to walk back. Jacey laughed and was about to reply when Harry cut in, "So what's this I hear about a game of truth or dare? We're all in." he said loudly. Ron didn't say anything , he just merely nodded in agreement. Jacey looked from Draco to Harry, with a raised eyebrow, "All right, but the both of you have to promise me you will not kill eachother." she said to them, her grip on Draco's hand tightening. |
Draco smirked. "I promise...this should be interesting," he said with a smile. "Shall we go outside, where we'll have somewhere soft to sit?" he asked JAcey, ignoring Harry and Ron. Cathy shook her head. "You guys," she muttered under her breath. "This should be fun," she said with a grin. Hermione sighed. "What have we gotten ourselves into?" she asked throwing her hands up into the air. |
Jacey smiled, "All right then, good. What about the room of requirement?" she asked, raising her eyebrow. Ron looked at Hermione and smiled sheepishly, "I was wondering the same thing." he said to her. Harry smirked, "Yes, the ROR sounds good to me." |
Draco shrugged. "Sure," he said, as he followed them down the hall. He was still unsue of hanging around with this crew, but he got to spend time with Jacey, wo what was the harm. Hermione grinned at Ron. "Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough," she said as they reached the floor. |
Jacey led them all to the seventh floor, her hand grazing draco's every chance that she got, she wanted him to take it, but she knew that he wouldn't as long as Harry and Ron were around. the door appeared in the wall and they filed inside, Harry caught Cathy's sleeve and smirked, "Be careful about your dares Cath." he said quietly. |
Cathy grinned at Harry. "I should advise you the same thing...why? What do you think I'll do? Dare you to snog me?" she asked, smirking at him. Then, she walked past him and took a seat on a couch that was waiting for them. Hermione joined Cathy on the couch. "Why do I get the feeling that something major is going to happen?" she asked quietly. Draco let his hand graze JAcey's as they walked. He had been watching Ron and HArry and knew how they were already uncomfortable. Him showing affection would add to it and it could make things difficult. So, he just took another couch and sat next to Jacey on it. |
Jacey smiled at Draco and then looked at the others, "Who wants to go first?" she asked them, raising an eyebrow. Ron and Harry sat still and quiet, neither of them wanting to have the first dare. |
Hermione shook her head, knowing what sort of things she had been asked to answer and do before, and not wanting to repeat the experience quite yet. Cathy grinned. "I'll go," she said with a sigh. "Since no one is brave enough," she said with a laugh. Draco sat back, watching as the group began the game. He wanted to see how they played before joining in. |
Jacey smirked, "All righty, shoot... who do you pick?" she asked. |
