OOc: Whoa! You changed your name!! Just so you know... I won't be able to get on for a week or so... I'll be going on a trip with my school, and there won't be any computers accessible! I'll be back though!! Cathy raised an eyebrow at him. "Maybe you should... you'll probably regret it for the rest of your life," she said, her temper rising. "Maybe it will help you realize what the true mistake was," she said, walking away. She couldn't do this now, she discovered. She was too angry, and too hurt by what he had said. She wasn't giving him a chance... but he wasn't fair to her either. Quickly, she strolled across the Common Room and disappeared into the girl's dorms. Hermione grinned. "Well, I was a fine day for me... except that we were worried about the two of you the entire time," she said, a slightly scolding tone to her voice. "The boys, I'm sure, went through torture with both the classes and not knowing where you were of course!" she said with a laugh. She quieted as Cathy walked away from Harry, and disappeared up to the Dorms. "Not good... should we go talk to her?" she said quietly to Jacey. |

Harry rolled his eyes as Cathy walked away from him. "Whatever." he said, pounding his fist on the wall as he hurried away. Ron nodded, "I was terrified." he replied, sounding quite sad, "We thought you had fallen into the lake again." Jacey hit Ron with her good arm, "That was in first year okay? Get over it!" she said, turning to see Cathy walking up to the girls dorm, she sighed, "I dont know, do you think she wants to talk?" |
Cathy quickly escaped into her room, closing the dorm's door behind her. She collapsed against it with a sigh. She slid down and onto the floor, putting her head in her hands and resting her arms on her knees. "What have I done?" she whispered, not even trying to stop the flow of tears. She watched the window, where the light of the moon was only broken by the pattering of rain drops as a storm began outside. Hermione watched the stairs to both dorms, as Harry stamped up to his room as Cathy disappeared into her own. She sighed. "Why has this gotten even more complicated?" she said under her breath. Hermione looked at Jacey. "I don't know... do you think we should check anyway?" she looked over at Ron. "What do you think? Should someone go and talk to Harry?" she asked him. |
Jacey looked over at Ron for a little help, she knew he was thinking the same thing she was, they did not want to get involved, "You know how they get Mione. We should probably leave them alone for a while." she said. Ron nodded, "Yeah, come on, lets all go for a walk." he said, standing up and holding out both of his arms. |
Hermione smiled. "You're right... that sounds pleasant," she said, standing and taking one of Ron's arms. She resisted the urge to put her head on his shoulder. She was going to enjoy being a couple... just as soon as all the drama was over and they could finally reveal it to their friends. |
Jacey smirked as she took Ron's other arm. "Splendid." she commented. She took notice of the way that Hermione was looking at Ron, but she didnt comment, it reminded her of the way she used to look at Draco, before he revealed himself as a git. |
Hermione looked at her two friends. "So, where shall we go off to... and what should we talk about?" she asked them, glad for a distraction from what had just happened. |
Jacey smirked, "Well, lets talk about you two." she said, "I know that you are dating, so you might as well come out with it." TJ watched Ron and Jacey and Hermione walk out of the Gryffindor common room, and turned to Pansy. "We need to cause more drama. I'm bored." |
Hermione felt her face go red. She didn't know what to say. She looked up at Ron, hoping that he would say something, she wasn't sure she could without making them look foolish. Pansy stood next to TJ and grinned. "Do you have anything in mind?" she asked, her own devious mind working hard to come up with something. Cathy emerged from her thoughts slowly, realizing that her legs couldn't handle the close position for very long. She stretched them out with a sigh, and then slowly got up. He legs were slightly numb, so she basically hobbled over to her bed. There, she grabbed her pillow and then took a seat by their dorm's fire. It was warm and she curled up, trying to forget what had just happened. |
Jacey laughed "I knew it!" she squeaked, jumping up and down, "Tell me how it happened. Don't leave anything out." Ron tried to pull away, "Maybe you girls should talk." he said, tossing Hermione a "Sorry but I gotta get out of here look" and then he ran, quite fast to the castle. |
Hermione glared at Ron, but then couldn't help smiling as she watched him walk away. "See if you can talk to Harry!" she called as they watched him. "Oh, where do I start?" she asked out loud, smiling as she intentionally dragged it out. |
Jacey eyed Hermione. "Just tell me!" she whined, pulling on her friends arm. "I wanna know." |
Hermione thought back. "Well... it just sort-of happened," she said with a blush. "Everyone had left us... and Ron and I were just talking. The Truth or Dare had been bugging me, when he chose me over you and Cathy, so I asked him about it. That's when he said that he liked me..." she said, her face turning a dark crimson. "Do you think we should check on Cathy now?" she asked, noticing how late it was getting. |
