Tj smirked as he listened to the story, "How convient it is that I sound like the bad guy in Davidson's version." he said, "When in truth she was the one who led me on and then spread some awful rumor about me and Pansy." he added, tossing a few bertie botts into his mouth.

Jacey nodded slowly, "Yup, I really do." she reliped watching to see hermiones reaction, "I don't know why, all I can saw is he is realy different that what he lets on, he is actually sweet." she said with a smile

Draco sighed. "And so, that is why I asked you for your side of the stroy," Draco said, looking at TJ. "But, if you want me to just believe Jacey's side..." he trailed off.

Hermione stared at Jacey. "I don't know, its just hard for me to believe," she said quietly. "I mean, we've hated him so many years, and it just seems weird that...he could change," she finished, looking at Jacey.

Cathy grinned. "So, what were you saying earlier?" she asked, meaning what Jacey had said at dinner.

"Well all I know is I had this fancy for Davidson, and then one day out of the bloody blue, she decides to snog me. Of course, being the gentleman that I am, I did not stop her, and it was quite nice." he added with a smirk, "So naturally I thought she eturned my feelings then three days later I hear this rumor that I am dating Pansy and Davidson started yelling at me, what wa sI to do? Then she started dating that fluff ball Potter, and- well you know the rest." he finished a smirk on his face.

Jacey nodded,"I know, I was so confused at first, but I have decided t accept it, I mean, people can change."

She looked at Cathy and raised an eyebrow, "sorry, I don't remember what I said."

Draco sighed. "Oh the complications between friends," he said, laying back on his bed. "Well, is that why you hate her so much?" he asked, looking at him.

Cathy raised an eyebrow. "Well, basically you said you would keep me updated about what you had done earlier today..." she said, sitting back on the couch.

Hermione sighed. "Well, I guess I'll believe it when I see it..." she said with a slight shrug.

TJ shrugged "I guess it is. Why are you asking me this stuff? Are you afraid I will steal her from you?" he asked

JAcey smiled, "Well we were doing so well asking questions, so ask, I promise to tell you what you want to hear."

Draco grinned. "Well, seeing as you both hate eachother equally, I would really tend to doubt that!" he said, sitting up. "But I would like to see if there's any way that you two could actually stand each other..." he said with a shrug.

Cathy smiled. "Well, I guess how's he been treating you?" she asked, looking at her friend. "I mean, I have to hear that before I decide whether or not to go after him," she said with a grin.

Tj shrugged, "Well, is she still a good snog? Maybe that will help me to get along with her."

Jacey nodded, "Yes, I suppose you are right. He treats me wonderfully, really, you have nothing to worry about." she replied, smiling at both cathy and hermione

Draco laughed. "Yes, she is! Although, you would know that, wouldn't you," Draco said, raising his eyebrow. "And can you blame her for dating Potter? He was famous, I-am-so-special Potter," he said, in a mimicking voice.

Cathy grinned. "Well, that's good to know at least," she said, laughing. "So, tell us about this afternoon," she said grinning. "And in exchange, I'll tell you what happened with Hermione," she said, grinning.

"CATH! That so isn't fair!" Hermione exclaimed, glaring at her.

tJ rasied an eyebrow, "Is that why you think she dated him?" he asked, thinking he could add that to the rumor he and pansy were spreading soon.

Jacey laughed, "Well nothing really, we mostly talked and kiseed." she admitted, blushing slightly, "And I told him about the ice thing."

"What happened to hermione?" she asked with a raised eyebrow

Draco shook his head. "Jacey isn't that vain...I think it was probably a plus that she didn't even think about though," he said. "Why? What are you thinking?" he asked, seeing his friend's mind working.

Cathy smiled. "Aww...Jacey and Draco...I'll stop!" she said, seeing the look in Jacey's eye. "Oh! Well, we were walking from the Great Hall, and we were just fooling around. Then Hermione and I casted spells. You saw what I did, and Hermione gave Ron a duck's bill! And then, they ki-"

"I'll take it from here," Hermione cut in, knowing Cathy was going to edit the details. She sighed, shaking her head at Cathy. "You are still a troublemaker. Anyway, we ran and hid in the Common Room and the boys followed us in here. Ron announced that if I didn't turn him back, he would kiss me," she said, her face flushing. "And, he did...but he still had the duck's beak. So, I removed it...and we kissed again," she said, her face red.

tj shook his head, "Nah, I'm not thinking anything." he said with a satisfied smirk, "No reason to jump to conclusions friend."

Jacey smacked Cathy's arm and said "Stop" as she blushed.

She smiled at hermione "well finally!" she squealed, very excited. "Youre lucky too, that Ron Weasley is a good snog. Remember when he dares me to snog him last year?" she asked, "I think he was trying to make you jealous."

Draco shook his head. "We've known each other too many years for me not to believe that...but I'll let it go," he said, grinning. "So, where were you off to this afternoon?" he asked his friend.

Cathy laughed. "Oh c'mon, you tease me about every single guy! I can't have the fun of this one?" she asked, pouting.

Hermione flet herself redden more. "Its not like its going to happen again!" she said defensively. "I mean, it was a one time thing, and he was desperate to get the beak off of him!" she said, hoping that they would believe her.

Cathy raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? And what was the second time then?" she asked grinning at Hermione.

tj looked away from Draco and back to his trunk, "I was, uh, flying around the grrounds." he said.

Jacey raised an eyebrow at Hermione, "Do you want it to happen again?" she asked.

Jacey shook her head, "Not yet, I don't know if anything is even going to happen between us yet."

"I'm sure you were," Draco said, looking at his friend as he pulled out some of his candy. "And I was just making nice conversation with Harry Potter," he said in reply. "Who is she?" he asked, grinning.

Hermione blushed. "Well, I...it was nice..." she said with a shrug, her face becoming redder with each word.

Cathy didn't say anything but exchanged a glance with Jacey. She sighed at Jacey's response. "Alright, but I don't know if I'll be able to hold back on the jokes for very long!" she said with a grin.

Tj shook his head "There is no girl, what would make you think that there is a girl? Has Davidson affected your brain so much already?"

Jacey poked Hermione's arm, "Would you kiss him back if he tried to kiss you again?"

She patted Cathy's head, "Well try your hardest." she said with a smile, "So, are you done interrogating me already?

Draco shook his head. "One, because you are getting so defensive. And Two, because you disappeared for quite awhile and never really go flying for that long," he said with a grin. "And besides, why does everything have to come back to Jacey with you?" he asked him, anger flickering quickly.

Hermione shrugged. "I guess, but I...I don't know!" she said, flustered.

Cathy winced as Jacey patted her head. "I have one more question for you..." she said, but indicated that she wanted Hermione to leave first. "And don't worry, we'll have more questions later," she said with a grin.

Tj smirked, "Were not paranoid are we?" he asked, noticing he had gotten some anger in Draco

Jacey smiled, " I will be sure to tell him then." she said.

Looking at Cathy, she waited for Hermione to go before she said anything.

"Hardly paranoid..." Draco said, waving it off. "But, you seem to be blocking me at every turn, so I'm getting frustrated," he said, putting away his food. He turned wit his back to TJ and began to get ready for bed.

Hermione made a face. "Thanks, and I'll be sure to curse you tomorrow morning as I try and wake you up," she said sarcastically as she stood up. "I'm going to bed, night," she said gathering her books and heading upstairs.

Cathy turned to Jacey. "Alright, so how are you feeling about all of this?" she asked as she moved over to give them both room.

Tj shook his head, "Well there is no girl, so don't get your knickers in a bunch." he laughed at his own joke and smirked, "So, are you going to tell me about your day? Or should I make up my own story?"

Jacey waved goodnight to Hermione and smiled at Cathy, "Well, I'm not quite sure still. It's still a bit weird having feelings for Draco you know? I used to hate him so much."

Draco glanced over his shoulder. "Why should I? You are just going to be bored because it involv ed Davidon, and you hate her anyway," he said as he got his stuff ready. "And knowing your perverted mind, you will probably blow the story that I tell you out of proportion anyway!" he said, sitting back on his bed.

Cathy smiled. "I know...how about you and Harry?" she asked, knowing it was a touchy subject, but it had to be let out sometime.

Tj laughed, "Well the, if that is how you feel about me." he said with a smirk, "I wouldn't tell many people, only Pansy." he added

Jacey felt her heart sink when Cathy brought up Harry, sure she had loved him as a friend, but not any more. "I'm not sure that I know what to do about him." she confessed

Draco sighed. "That is probably the worst person to tell, worse than my parents even!" Draco said, turning to face his friend. "What has gotten into you?" he asked, scanning over his friend with his eyes.

Cathy watched Jacey's expression change. "I'm sorry if I brought it up too soon, but I figure that feelings built up are worse than when they're let out," she said with a shrug. "But, I just hate it being awkward when you two are together..." she said, sitting back on the couch.

"I could ask you the same thing." tj countered, not really sure why he was acting like such a jerk.

Jacey smiled, "Its okay, and youre right, I hate it too, its just, I don't know how to fix it yet. But I promise to tell you once I have it figured out."

Draco raised an eyebrow. "Well, at least I have an answer. You," he said, glaring at the person who had been his best friend. "Good night," he said, and pulled the cutains around his bed shut.

Cathy smiled. "Well, there's no rush, but I just wanted to let you know my feelings...that's what a best friend does after all," she said with a grin. "And one more thing, unless you have something," she said, looking at Jacey.

tj rolled his eyes at Draco and turned to face the wall, his plan brewing in his mind

Jacey shook her head, "No, I dont have anything to add. Go ahead, ask away." she said with a smile.
